Gospels

Type: Book

As of November 2026, Gospels has been mentioned in 3 episodes across 3 podcasts, first heard Oct 2025 on Pastor Daniel | Truth Unleashed. In the episode "How Anti-White Male Discrimination Is The Root Of Our Decline," Matt Walsh references the Gospels to discuss the teachings of Jesus and their relevance today. Pastor Daniel's episode features a Christian scholar who answers rapid-fire questions about Jesus, highlighting the Gospels' role in conveying his message. These discussions illustrate how the Gospels serve as a foundation for understanding Jesus' words and actions.

Gospel originally meant the Christian message, but in the second century AD the term euangélion came to be used also for the books in which the message was reported. In this sense a gospel can be defined as a loose-knit, episodic narrative of the words and deeds of Jesus, culminating in his trial and death, and concluding with various reports of his post-resurrection appearances.
