Type: Concept

As of November 2026, Mermaids has been mentioned in one podcast episode on Morbid | Podcast (Aug 2025). Hosts jokingly attribute Kip's described rushing/ocean sound to 'mermaids,' adding levity to intense sleep-paralysis content.

In folklore, a mermaid is an aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish. Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
