From Fresh Air

This week, we're revisiting a 2014 interview with director Wes Anderson. He appeared on the show after directing and co-writing "The Grand Budapest Hotel," which takes place in the fictional European country of Zubrowka on the eve of war. Anderson shot much of it in Germany, drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape. This interview originally aired March 12, 2014.
