so this video has been quite a time in the making i have tried to film it three separate times three separate times my first video there are bound to be some flaws there's bound to be some flies in the ointment some craziness some stuff that makes me want to tear my hair out but damn it i'm gonna join you all it's gonna happen i'm gonna post this video people are gonna like it i just want book friends i would like people to talk about books with i am highly introverted in all of my introvertedness i became addicted to booktube as we do i love books i love people talking about books i love watching people talk about books and thusly i decided to create my own channel because i'm lonely and sad and you can only talk to your pets for so many hours about books before they walk away trust me i know so if you want to come and like join me and say hi or not say hi and just be a creeper i really don't care

just you know make my life more meaningful that would be great i decided to do a book haul because people like book calls i like book hauls i will admit to watching more book hauls then it's probably sam and i now have more books than necessary because of these book hauls granted they're all very cheap i'm not proud of it and um if you see my shelves up here they're nine and a half foot shelves they're filled to the brim with books that i need to read that's right that's my tbr for those not in the know that's my to be read and the books i'm going to discuss today aren't even on the shelves yet yay me consumerism i'm yay go crawl in a hole in shame now it's fine so i decided why not share my shame on booktube also if you hear a jingle jangle that's my puppers um she's desperately seeking affection right now because mama is somewhere new in the house and she doesn't like that she's an anxiety pupper

um she gets very very anxious very easily and she's a special girl special her name is pixel we love her we stand her even though she has anxiety issues i call her my emotional support animal except it's never sure who's supporting who whether i'm supporting her anxiety or whether she's supporting my anxiety it's kind of an anxiety circle but we love each other it's fine anyway where was i oh yes this is my furry co-host his name is mr floof we're gonna get to the book haul now because otherwise i'm just gonna talk because i'm overly caffeinated and awkward and i'm talking to a camera by myself this is my last resort people this is it i can't get any lower and booktube i love you for joining me in this madness thank you the end no not actually the i still have to discuss books um today i'm talking about specifically why a thrillers and mystery and suspense all of that good stuff um because

at books could kill i love anything spooky i love dead bodies i love mysteries i love rich people drama where there are mysteries i love serial killers i love you know everything that you're not supposed to love as a small child i was like yes bring it to me in droves like for instance stockholm syndrome my favorite like you probably shouldn't be admitting that on the internet but it's my favorite trope i [ __ ] love it i do i don't know why i've loved it since the dawn of time i have no shame there is no shame in my stockholm game y'all i love it it's a vibe it's a moment it's so back to y thrillers which is what you came here for not me rambling at you for 29 minutes i probably could at this point because i'm highly caffeinated and terrified just throwing that all out there throwing it out into the wilderness i will specify i have not read any of these books yet yeah accountability i need some this is also why i'm doing

this so that you can keep me reading because i love reading but i'm not doing it as much as i should so we're going we're going to do it more now and you're going to help please and thank you thank you for coming to my ted talk i appreciate it our first book is three dark crowns this is about a group of sisters who all have magical powers and they have to fight each other to the death to figure out who is going to be the queen of their different islands this was really highly talked about i believe in 2016 let me check here yeah this was a 2016 crazy read and everyone was all about it i'm pretty sure i've had it since 2016.

and it's not that it doesn't sound amazing because it does but i'm a mood reader so i tend to go based off of what i'm feeling all of my bookshelves are oriented by genre so that when i'm in a specific mood i can just go there and be like yes i want you i haven't been in the mood for this yet unfortunately so i haven't read it but every time i pick it up i'm like oh this looks so good so i really should just bite the bullet and put it on my tbr so i should do that i'll i'll probably do that suicide notes from beautiful girls i have no idea what this book is about i'm pretty sure it's about a girl who burns herself to death in a shed people say it's suicide all her friends are like [ __ ] no she didn't want to kill herself why would she kill herself burning herself to death in a [ __ ] like out of all the ways that we could pick self forever sleep why burning yourself to death in a [ __ ]

wouldn't be my pick of self forever sleep so because of that they start an investigation into her death and the cover honestly it got me i didn't care what it was about i just wanted the cover so i i got it this next book scream cleans i honestly thought it was gonna be like the tv show love the tv show guys i stan scream girls the tv show the chanels are my life they're horrible i get it they're a whole vibe i also get that i feel no shame they're amazing i can't tell you how many times i text my friends and use this chanel meme i'm not mad about it i like it this book with the same name not anything like that it's about three girls competing to get the same internship and things get super super creepy and tense because they all want the internship and they all have amazing resumes and it's kind of like pretty little liars and um a college book of some kind had a baby and maybe like devil worth prada had a baby

haven't read it yet looked good got it because of the cover this lie will kill you um again another book i have no idea what it was about i bought it because it looked like uh one of us is lying and people were crazy about one of us is lying so i had to see what this is about apparently it's about a party where someone dies and the bunch of other people who uh start dying as well and they have to figure out who the killer is before more and more people die so it's kind of like a slasher movie slash mystery um it looks good oh this book guys this book i need to read this book someone make me read this book um this premise still gets me and it's what the woods keep this is basically if you took the inheritance games and smashed it in to crimson peak this is about a girl who her mother dies she gets the inheritance from her mother but in order to keep the inheritance she has to find out her family's secrets

in her mansion and there are all these secret things that are left for her in this mansion and it's like a mystery thriller and um obviously there are high stakes because hello her mom just died and she needs to live now and i'm here for it i'm here for family secrets another trope that i absolutely [ __ ] adore like give me all the family secrets give me all the shifty darkness give me all the things that are hiding in corners that no one wants to know about you have skeletons in your closet i want to hear about it guys i'm going to be honest i'm going to be real honest here hear me out is it really a booktube haul if you don't have this book a good girl's guide to murder olivia reads a lot i read this book and i scan olivia read the latte i will read whatever that woman puts on screen her [ __ ] is on lock love her can not tell you enough how much she's the very first booktuber that i ever started

watching and i binged that [ __ ] like it was the apocalypse and i was gonna die no regrets still watch her to this day like if she made a video every day my life would be so much better for it so because of her i picked up this book booktube is insane about this book i really hope the hype isn't so much that i don't enjoy the book because once i read the book i've seen so many five star reviews about this book that i feel like once i start reading it i might be like it's like a three star but we'll see next up is killing november another trope i love which is really popular right now which you know works in my favor boarding school books boarding school books are life i started originally with it girl like way back in the day when i was like a teenager which was a long time ago guys a long time um and it girl was spin-off series of gossip girl which i also read back in the day when it first came out not the

900th iteration that is now on tv or the series i know people will come for me they love the original gossip girl tv series i never watched it the books forever anyway killing november is about an assassin boarding school and when you have female assassin and boarding school i'm gonna pick it up i don't care how bad it is i gotta pick it up so i picked it up survive the night survive the night is about a group of teens who go to a rave and i mean this should say a lot like don't go to raves in random places because you'll die i mean just stay at home tucked in with a book or a binge-worthy tv show cup of tea a snuggly pet a snuggly stuffed animal whatever just don't go outside and you won't die that's what i've learned in life don't go outside and you won't die i mean it's worked for me so far they go to a rave and one by one they start being murdered and this one girl is trying to figure

out who's killing them why and she needs to get out of this rave and it's like an escape room but a rave so it looked spooky and i was into it this one i haven't read yet because i'm a little afraid of it um i as i said i'm a mood reader i haven't been in the mood for this yet because i feel like it's gonna be rough and that is the nowhere girls the nowhere girls is about a group of girls who go on a revenge spree when one of their own is taken advantage of in a bad way and they decide that they are going to get revenge because the law won't do anything about it obviously i haven't read this one yet because of the themes involved but it still looks like a really good book i'm so excited for this book i'm gonna be honest i'm so excited for this book the only reason i have not read this book yet is i'm pretty sure it's historical and i really have to be in a mood for historical and i haven't hit that mood

yet haven't hit that spike um but this madness so discreet it hits all of my book buttons it's an unreliable narrator it's set in an asylum anything having to do with an asylum i'm all over it i love it goes right up there with my love of true crime and serial killers asylums yeah and it's about a girl who's put into an asylum for things that she believes and no one believes her except the doctor that she is seeing and so she has to convince the doctor that she's not crazy and they go on this crazy journey um to figure out whether she has done these things or not so i can't wait to read this one and yet i haven't because that is the theme of my life so sad and now we have another olivia reads a latte book because what is my life without half of my library being filled with amazing lucky reads of latte books it's nothing it's fine this is the ever popular where dreams descend she had me at greatest showman fan

fiction featuring zac efron and zendaya literally all i needed to hear and my mouse clicked that by button it is amazing i'm sure i will eventually read it and you will hear about it because i'm gonna start making reading vlogs so i start reading books um i can't wait to get this to this and yet it's another one that i haven't gotten to another olivia reads a latte um i don't think she recommended this but she loves the author therefore i love the author and this was on sale so i picked it up um it's victoria schwab's this savage song and i know everyone is obsessed with all of her other books and this is my first so it seemed really interesting because it seems to be a good and evil who's gonna do what kind of book where um they gotta figure out like a dystopian craziness between moral good and bad and i'm butchering this synopsis but there isn't really much to go on on the back of the book

i basically just picked it up because it it looked good and i liked the cover and a lot of booktubers swear by the author so this will be my first introduction to victoria this book looked so good when i picked it up it still looks really good but i haven't heard many people talking about it um this is the cheerleaders and when you have murder and cheerleaders on the cover that's all i needed to pick it up that's it like i was the goth girl in high school because i mean come on and i didn't have any cheerleaders at my school because i went to a private school i don't know what this is about honestly it's the cover got me i picked it up the other sister i haven't heard anything about this book um other than nothing it's apparently about two sisters who suffer from a very traumatic childhood and are forced apart from each other and they have to figure out whether their trauma is keeping them apart or whether

it's who they are um i'm interested in reading it i like the cover this ignore the giant sticker on this please this book the edge of normal isn't about an abduction again stockholm syndrome abductions i like it i got it i picked up the serpent and the dove um i think if you're on booktube you know by now what this is about it's popular people read it i jumped on the bandwagon i'm a salute for jumping on the bandwagon when it comes to books stags um stag is about a secret society where you get a letter and you have to figure out whether you're gonna go or not i'm assuming it's rich people drama as olivia reads latte says but rich people drama in boarding school and the cover can we talk about the cover because that's what sold me ultimately my lady jane my lady jane is a retelling of lady jane gray's life and when i saw that there was a bunch of books a book series about a bunch of famous james i was

so in so in like it starts with jane ear which is the other one i have because i have both of them i don't have the third one yet because i haven't read these two and i have this fun little cork where if i buy one in the series i have to buy the second one in the series two because if i like it i need to read it right this instant and if i don't have the second book i gonna get cranky so i got both of them i'm super excited for this one also super excited for this one triply excited that the newest one came out i'll read them eventually right right yeah the other eventually i'll read them don't judge me don't judge me booktube the god game um i feel like this book is like someone took ready player one and mixed it with the hunger games it's not normally a book that i would pick up by any stretch of the imagination i'm not normally a sci-fi kind of girl um but it looked kind of cool because it's

kind of like a horror movie meets uh what are you gonna do thriller kind of thing it's a bunch of kids who are in a simulation and they have to kill each other and the one that lives is you know the one that gets to live because that's how these books go um and it just it looked interesting and it's not a genre i normally read so i picked it up i did a thing i did a thing and i feel no shame cliche stupid i love vampires i am a basic [ __ ] that loves me a vampire book i read twilight back in the day way back in the day the original air of twilight um i read it i read the first book i was like i don't get the hype um i'm a writer i got really annoyed when i saw that this vampire book was doing really well because i had been writing vampire books since the dawn of time but neither here nor there um and i saw that this vampire book was doing real well so i picked it up and i was like i'm just going to read this for

research it's fine i'll just i'll read it i'll see what all the hype is about i read it didn't love bella nevertheless needed to know where that crazy sauce went so i read the book in a day made my husband at the time take me to a 24-hour walmart so i could get the other three and i binged it i binged it so i love vampires i love vampire diaries i liked twilight i liked uh and rice anything with vampires all of this to say that i got this the beautiful people love the beautiful i love vampires i'll probably like that if you have managed to stick with me dear god i appreciate your fortitude thank you so much for listening to my inane ramblings for so long i appreciate you i appreciate you so much this is my last book and it is called necessary people it is a book about two girls who want to get into the same college but both of their academic resumes are crazy good and as best friends [ __ ] is going down between them because

they both want this school and they'll only accept one dark secrets are unveiled mysteries skeletons in the closet it kind of reminds me of bride wars but for college and i just really like the cover so i picked it up and that is the last book follow-up video will be the rest of my haul which is all adult fiction this is why fiction and hopefully even with my crazy caffeination this will be something you enjoy and this will be something that you're willing to watch a video two of um i mean if you like it if you don't like it i'm sorry you sat through this uh please comment down below a unicorn for mr fluffster and subscribe and be my friend and talk about books with me and make my life um better because i need book friends and i want to read books with other people and i want a book club and i want about talk about murdery things with other people and true crime and serial killers and abduction and all the dark twisty twine
