So, we're we're here about to start a brand new campaign of Dungeons and Dragons, but we are also watching the live cam. So, I can see it from my phone. So, you'll see like I don't turn around all the time just because I can see it. Um, but we're watching for Raven. Raven is now 8 days overdue. Uh, so we kind of did fing season and like a full watch and then we called off full watch, but now we're back. So, that's what we're doing. And tonight, like, we're starting a new campaign. And this is essentially what we hope to be the campaign that takes us through folding season. Like, we want it to be a lot longer than the last one.

And so, we're doing a lot of the setup tonight, like of our characters and world building and like things like that. And Matt, he'll come back. Matt is the dungeon master for this time. back up.

And I say that she I'm probably going to play her exactly the same. Um, we'll see. I I want to get because Shadow Heart's an already created character, so I want Luminara to be a little more like tailored, you know? Um, but anyway, I wanted to play a cleric now that I understood the game a little better. I think I'll move on later, but I felt like if I restarted with something else, I'd feel a little less I don't know.

What's fun about this campaign is that I think the highest anybody I don't know if we anybody reach level five last time, but level five is a is a milestone level where you get to like like we'll sit down kind of like what we're doing here and you'll get new perks. You'll get to like update like get new spells and stuff and then like once you get to like level, you know, seven, eight, nine, like combat becomes like pretty crazy. Like you're starting to deal like 40 damage. I mean, like you can do some pretty wild stuff. So, like the five like now we can actually like get into like what that looks like.

Well, I was going to say you leveled us up to five, Nate, and then we weren't able to do anything. So,

that was the end. I know, but the happily ever after. I I still think you should have been like, "And now let's go back to the town and hang out for a little bit and let us do some stuff." To be fair, I tried to I tried to set it up so that you could say, "Oh, my person went back to the town and did this and

A death is going to be a serious thing. That being said, you can and there are there's rules like putting in older characters. You can have multiple car. You can create a new character if you die. There's whatever. I propose doing like a video game where you load back to camp, the tavern, phandolm whatever.

If you die, we started. If you die, you get respawned back to the tavern. You don't lose your level, but if you were to pick up something, a staff, you know, whatever, you would you would lose that. But

and you're done for the night. You don't even lose a level. Let's just for like for like pacing and whatnot like

and where they come from. Um, my character's name is Mythio. Mythio. Mithio. Hi, Mithrielio.

Hi. Um, Mythio is a bit of a bit of a purpose seeker, I think. You know um he's he he has an inclination that maybe he was adopted when he was younger. Um, but yeah, he's he's a bit of a drifter.

Bit of a drifter. bit of a bit of a solo uh solo rider. Is he kind of What do you think his uh

a little bit? Would you consider him a a a dogooder? Would you consider him what would you consider his motivations are in life? Does he try to impress people? Does he try to prove himself? Does he try to stay out of the way? You know, what's what do you you consider his motivations in life to be? Um he's he's he's slightly a bit of a dogoodter. Um but not necessarily from his own natural instincts. Um he was a bit of a do batter. um

perform but when he the way in which he came to be who he is now um kind of pushed him towards the path of do goodter but he's he does carry a bit of that tension with him from his past.

Okay. What is a interesting ability that you have that you would like to share with the table?

Um that you think is interesting about your character? Can I? He he he's able to do this thing where he can he can make a face really fast. Just fast enough that you're not you you're not sure if you saw him do it. So, you know, y'all could be talking and you glance over and he and you're like, "What?" Just a little he's he just he's he's he's able to move his face really fast and so he uses it sometimes, you know, to just little quirk.

He's a drifter and he has to entertain himself sometimes. It's a little game he plays of what face can I make.

All right. And Buck, tell me about your character. What's his name and where's he from? Her or her?

Yeah. My name is Kor Grimbuck. Ki. Yeah. Kor Grimbuk. Grimbuck. Bk. Bk. That's cool.

Of course. Yeah. I'm a dragon born paladin. Um, I was very kind of grew up rough. had a rough upbringing. Had to kind of break the laws a little bit to make my money, make my way, but I'm very fair. I would say I'm very honest. I'm really big on honesty and respect. Um, those are real important to me. I'd say I don't trust everybody just cuz I grew up in the kind of rougher life dealing with criminals. So, it's hard for me to trust somebody fully because I've been crossed a lot. Um,

yeah. What is a interesting fact about your character, whether it be on the stat sheet or just about your character that you would like to that you think's cool?

Um, well, I don't know. I I guess I try to get out of the crime life by joining the Paladins to kind of have like a more of a brotherhood, more of a righteous outlook on life. And uh [snorts] yeah, I think that's about it.

What do you What are your motivations in life? That's going to be something I ask everybody.

Yeah, motivation is definitely going to be money involved. I'm really big. I'm trying to I want to create a fortunate enough to have my friends and family well taken care of.
