Uh, so this was a there was a uh there was some type of protest rally here. Uh, we were late to it. We didn't get here in time, but um there also protests here. So Jake Lang uh showed up in a box truck, a U-Haul box truck uh with uh a couple of people inside the box truck uh driving down this road here antagonizing the protesters. Uh one of them had a paintball gun. It looked like uh they were shooting something out of the the truck. Uh so they they're probably going to come back around, but uh it got it got the processes really fired up. Uh and now you have the Hen County Sheriff who was driving people off the street and back into the sidewalk.

They're supposed to be protecting people, not protecting ICE, not going to the building, the federal buildings to Yeah. 2020. I'm reusing it from 2020. Imagine that. and they're going to our buildings, our government buildings, and protecting ICE so that they can take somebody going into a court or coming out of the court. That is wrong. They have failed us. Police department has or the police, the sheriffs, the from uh George Floyd, it took five years to rebuild. Now they have destroyed everything. We rebuild the trust within

rebuild the trust within the community. Yeah. Yep. And it's all done, especially with the sheriffs.

And you know what what I what we witnessed today was um you know the filter blockades. Uh so there was a filter blockade uh near Powhorn Park. We witnessed MPD come in and and like struggle you know remove the the the barrier that they had set up and like pushing them. And so like they were they were you know antagonizing and taking down the barcade. So they are providing cover you know it's like they're working with ICE not directly but indirectly.

Yeah. And they're not supposed to be the the Henipin County is supposed to be working with the communities. They gave us the trust on that. They said that they would be helping more people and if they're not doing that they will never rebuild that. It will be the reach that um that these people are are destroying is immense. The the trust uh if they think CO is bad, think about what this is going to be years to come. The the far reach of what they have done the what they have gone into our communities. [ __ ] They're uh oh, pardon me. They're circling our buses, our students. They're circling our schools. And

you're talking about ICE, right? Ice. Ice is circling our schools. Ice is circling our buses. And it's scaring the hell out of children. I patrol for some schools and it's just like it's terrible. That should not be. And I I even told um I've been calling the city council. I've been calling anybody that would listen. You think this is bad? ISIS is going to be far worse on the long run for this community and the destruction that they are doing with the government, with the communities, with police, with the sheriffs, anybody that's supposed to be protecting us. The only people protecting us is Minnesota. And then we got this bastard in our city. Well, guess what?

Add this to the history. Minnesota is unstoppable. We have shown that we are unstoppable. We have shown that we are resilient and it's it's heartbreaking, but it's still uplifting.

Yeah. Talk about the community response. I I've never seen I mean I' I've been in Chicago, Charlotte, North Carolina. River Border Patrol went to terrorize communities, the cities. I was there for it. But I've never seen the community come out like I have here in the Twin Cities. It's just incredible to see patrollers on every corner, schools, everybody has a whistle around their neck. Uh every corporate shop has whistles uh to to take, you know, every store has whistles. Um but does that give you hope?

It does. It does because Minnesota is not giving up. When we unite, we win. We And again, I really mean this. We are unstoppable. Trump has not even I mean, that's why he's doubling down because he knows that we still will not give up. You know, this regime, if they look back in history on how this is mimicking the Nazi, uh, they started out very quietly. They started going into the youth. They started uh going out. And that's exactly what Trump has been slowly doing. They're very precise on how they did this. When Trump did not win in 2020 or Yeah. 2020, he was they were preparing for this moment.

Yeah. Why do you think Minnesota? Why do you think this state? Why do you think? Because we have a governor that ran for VP and Trump hates that. He hates that he has never gotten uh Minnesota to turn over to him. It's a lot. It's very red around us. But there's a lot of wild blueberries in this state. So they will never win on that. They will never get Minnesota to turn red because of that.

One more question. Do you think uh uh your Democratic officials are doing enough at this moment to fight the counter back?

Actually, I don't I don't I think they can do more. As my daughter said when when I said I was talking with a community member and they said, "Well, there's only a 100 police that um our city has." Well, my daughter was saying, she goes, "Mom, that's not enough. Look at what we're doing. We don't have guns. We have whistles and signs. And we are doing it as a community without guns, without mace, without uh rubber bullets, without murdering people. We're doing it. And our government officials need to stand up and say we need to do more. They cannot cave in on these ice. They cannot cave in. And I caving in is probably the worst thing that they could ever do. And they've, you know, and we have Angie Craig who caved in and voted for um funding of ICE and now she's backpedaling.

What I want to see from her is going, I'm sorry I did this. You know, we have our other candidates standing up and going, "We are not for this." And their records have shown that they are not for this. So, our government officials need to stand and do more. You know, they claimed uh ICE claimed that they're pulling 700 agents out of the state, but there's still going to be thousands of more agents here. Uh and and a lot of people, a lot of media left, you know, after after Renee and Alex, you know, a lot of media came in, parachuted in, and then parachute out.

Yeah. And and a lot of people think that it's things are are slowing down with the No, they're not.

Your experience. Yeah. Tell us about that. They are not slowing down. They're they're getting more and more secretive on what they're doing.

Yeah. So 700 controlling a [ __ ] loser. 700 is nothing. 2,2300 left. We have under a thousand or under a 100,000 immigrants

undocumented and we had 3,000 on the ground. Now we have 2,000 on the ground. 700 is nothing,

you know. And if they think that we're going to fall for that, we're not. That's why people are still out here. And that's why the press needs to continue to be focusing on us because 700

is too little. 2,000 is too much. You're going to stay here or you want to roll back.

So, I'll go back too long. And yesterday, you know, we we've been uh uh uh monitoring the the rates, you know, we've been following, you know, following where ISIS is going and doing their rates. It's now they're they're smashing observers windows and arresting them. They they arrested two observers yesterday.

They arrested three. Oh, three. Three observers. Yeah. Big patrol. Oh, next. Oh, great.

They're going up the up against an army that is is building up they're building up this army of of federal agents and uh and they have all the weapons in in in in the world. Uh so it is an occupying force here uh in in the Twin Cities uh which soon will be in every almost every uh uh city dem democratic city at least.

All right. So, they are still throwing dildos into the street and at um at these vehicles, the uh the vehicles that are being used by ICE um and the Henip County Sheriff's uh vehicles. I don't know how many doz they they bought, but they have a lot. Um yeah, so uh uh [ __ ] what else was I thinking about? Uh yeah. So this morning uh as I was talking to that woman before uh we did document uh so the filter blockades that they have around uh uh the community in Southside Minneapolis uh near Powhorn Park. They have these filter blockades where they just slow down traffic uh to to see uh you know just document the uh the ICE vehicles that are going by and just to you know just to see who's who's civilian uh community you know member and and who's uh ice uh rolling through the neighborhood. Uh anyway, uh Minneapolis Police Department came in and uh kind of pushed them around and took all the the barricades

uh and you know, it was a a little physical action back and forth, but no arrests were made. Uh we got that footage. We're going to be posting that uh posting that soon. Uh but then eventually once police took off, they uh the uh the activists there uh went and got more uh stuff to barricade the uh the street and and make a new uh blockade. And you know, when you see these uh these uh raids happening and we're there to document that, it's not protesters coming out. You know, I don't know how how the media portrays it, but these aren't just protesters coming out because they they hear these are residents, people that live in this community in the communities where ICE is terrorizing people.

These are just residents coming out of their house to to to express how upset they are and and how they want them out of their communities and to stop taking their neighbors and terrorizing their their neighbors. So it it it's just residents, community members, people who live there coming out of the house. It's not like people are traveling from from other, you know, from other places to to come and protest. I mean here, yeah, people are protesting here, but when you see the raids happening in the in the communities, that's just people coming out of their house or or passing through, going to work, going to school, going to to get food to get breakfast.

The orders they said came from a senior came from senior officials including Cash Patel, the FBI director. several of whom worried that pursuing a civil rights investigation by using a warrant uh by using a warrant obtained on that basis would contradict President Trump's claim that Miss Good violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer who fired at her as she drove her vehicle. That's what this is. Yep. That's the yellow. He had that up over his face. Yeah. And I mean like we were [ __ ] drenched. Um and you know they just drove through. Um

Yeah. So, not not only getting pepper sprayed and brutalized and tear gas by by the feds or by the sheriff's uh department, but now you you're also worried about right-wing agitators coming here and getting away with that

and attacking us. And the cops stood there didn't do a [ __ ] thing. When we asked them why they're letting Nazis attack us for no reason, they had the audacity to yawn at us like, "Oh, I can't be bothered." you know, too busy [ __ ] directing traffic and it's it's obvious they don't care about our safety. You know, we have to keep ourselves safe. Um, you know, it's the the ICE is murdering people. And now on top of that, we have unhinged Nazis who a day after being released from jail are [ __ ] attacking people before they even do anything. They're not. They weren't threatened before they started spraying, before they started shooting people.

It seems like they had that plan, the intention to ride through. Absolutely. The

U-Haul truck. They're brandishing a giant cross. Um it was obviously it was obvious they're attack they're too too afraid to stop and actually, you know, give a press conference like they had said. And so they decided just to come here and hurt some people for for no reason. And and it's the people out here are already risking a lot coming out here and now they have to worry about, you know, even more [ __ ] lunatics that just want to hurt people.

Now, did you all come from Chicago? Yes. So, I I recognize that this, you know, I was here before all the fencing, the barricades, and I I I had a feeling this was going to become like broad and it's it's very similar. So where you have now it's not it's not you're you're not protesting the you know the federal agents that you want to protest them now now it's you're you're in between the the uh local and state police are now in between same as in in broad in Chicago

Uh we're starting to try to get up uh weekly protests again on Saturday, starting today in Broadview. Um there should be a big one February 28th. Uh so everybody that can get out there, get out there. We need more bodies out there. They're coming back. They're going to hit rob you again just like they're doing here and we need to be ready.

We're already seeing more activity out there as well. Uh ice activity. They they raided uh my neighborhood a couple times this week. Uh they've been prowling around schools again. Um

vehicles that we saw the big truck load come in. We've seen them on the ground in Broadview in the last couple of days. The ice marked vehicles, the big truck load that came through. They're there. I' I'd just like to give a shout out to not only the Chicago, Mayor Johnson, JB Pritsker, but also Tim Walls and Mayor Prey here in Minnesota. They're doing a whole lot of talking without any real difference. I think that Zoran Mandani is one of the only politicians that is actually making a difference right now. Um, we need them to stop making the same the same speeches that they've been making for the past year and start to make some action because at this point we know that they're pissed. We know that they said that they're upset. But meanwhile, Tim Balls gave information about illegal immigrants, handed over texts, documents, and census census information um to ICE, directly to ICE, so that they

could easier do their job of getting people of color out of our state, both Illinois and Chicago.

Yeah. So, they they're talking, you know, they're they're saying a lot, but their actions show differently. Just like just like Chicago, it's it's the same happening here.

Um, you know, and people think because ICE, ISIS claim, hold on, let the sound, you know, ICE was claiming that they're they're pulling 700 agents out and people thought that it was going to slow the rates were going to slow down. But what have you been seeing? So rates have like sustained or gone up. It's just the the tactics that they're using. We don't see them as much. Bevino was going around on a [ __ ] press tour every day trying to get legitimately get pictures whereas Homeman uh under Obama has been doing this. He looks like a good old grandpa from Minnesota, right? So his tactics are much different. They're not in the middle of the day as much.

They're when people are most vulnerable 5 6 7 8 a.m. going to work picking people off. But there is rapid response, very autonomous um responding to that. It just looks way like I haven't seen ICE in [ __ ] two weeks.

Yeah. So yesterday uh yesterday we were documenting the raids. Um there we didn't get there were we didn't see any raids, but they so basically they were sitting in the cars. They had uh three cars within like a a twob block radius on different streets

and they're just sitting there filming uh people coming out blowing the whistles. So it that yeah that that's a strange tactic and then they're also smashing windows of the observers

and and arresting them now. Yeah. I mean I think it's definitely like a fear tactic. It's something that the US military has previously used um when we've occupied places. We've meaning the [ __ ] US empire, right? Um like right now I just looked overhead. There's a US military drone right there um for communications. It has that cable coming down. So, these are all military tactics that the US Army and other branches of the military use um historically. Um and they're using it here on our own citizens, on our neighbors, on our people. Um so, they want us to be tired and run down and and not sustain ourselves. But look at how people are showing up. So, uh they'll lose inevitably.

Yeah. But I I mean, I've I've covered this stuff in Chicago, in North Carolina, um all over, but I've never seen the community respond like I have here. It's incredible and everybody is so supportive of each other.
