Central figure of the segment: discussed as the (announced) Atlanta Falcons head-coach hire and evaluated based on his Cleveland track record, staff-building, and fit with Atlanta’s offensive personnel and QB options. - Bejan Robinson — Person · Referenced star player / key offensive asset · 3 mentions · first at
Used as the main example of why Atlanta should prefer an experienced head coach; framed as a prime, elite RB whose development/usage must be maximized.I don't want to entrust Bejan, who might be the most talented player in football in the last five or so years, to a firsttime guy. And here's also what we know. Kevin Stfansky at his heights.

Cited as evidence of Stefanski’s best offensive outcomes when paired with an elite RB; used to argue Stefanski will maximize Robinson similarly. - Jim Schwartz — Person · Referenced defensive coordinator candidate · 2 mentions · first at
Presented as the ideal defensive counterpart to complement Stefanski—someone who can 'dial up a defense' and raise the overall staff quality. - Kirk Cousins — Person · Referenced quarterback fit / contingency starter · 1 mention · first at
Used to argue Stefanski is a 'safe bet' because Cousins matches the QB archetype Stefanski prefers; also framed as a viable path to winning the division.Running backs. was talking about Jared Dham. Let's talk about your favorite topic. Got look at the smile. Look at the smile on his face right now, man. Look, look at the smile on that face. Ladies and gentlemen, today was announced that the Atlanta Falcons, one of the best job openings in all of the NFL right now was filled today by head coach Kevin Stfansky. He is now the Atlanta Falcons uh head coach. He now has more weapons uh than he did in in Cleveland. Did the Falcons get the head coach higher right? Acho
couldn't have been more right. Couldn't It couldn't have been more right. I got some important information for y'all. There's no better place to win cash while watching sports than prize picks. Football season is here and basketball season is here. So, there's absolutely no better time to join. It's super easy to use. To create a lineup, all you got to do select a few player stats. Pick more or less. That's literally it. Prize Picks is available in more than 40 states, including California, Texas, my home state, and Georgia. But my favorite thing, Prize Picks is going to give you $50 in lineups when you make your first $5 lineup. What's that mean? Win or lose, you get 50 bucks in lineups for free.
Just download the app and use promo code speak easy today. Five bucks gets you 50 bucks in lineups. Prize picks, it's good to be right. Um, here's why. Let me let me lose the faciciousness and be honest. I do not want to entrust Bejian Robinson, Michael Penn coming off an injury in the year in which I need to figure out if I'm picking up his fifth year option, Drake London, and Kyle Pittz if I decide to franchise tag him. I don't want to entrust them to a firsttime head coach. I just don't Robinson's going to sit in his prime for the next three to four years. I'm not going to give a a first-time head coach three of those years. Michael Pennix is coming off a year in which we need to make a decision about him. I don't want to entrust that to a first-time head coach. Drake London is already here and here and here. I don't want to entrust that to a first-time head coach. I want to entrust this incredibly young but
incredibly talented offense to a guy who's been through the fire, both good and bad. With all due respect, Stfansky's had some bad of which he should learn from. And Stfanskis has some good that taught him. So, the Atlanta Falcons made, in my mind, the best decision because what are you going to do? Promote Zack Robinson? You're going to go get Kubak who's never been a head coach before? you going to go get uh the Texans offensive coordinator? You're going to go get Mike McDaniel. Like, I don't want to entrust Bejan, who might be the most talented player in football in the last five or so years, to a firsttime guy. And here's also what we know. Kevin Stfansky at his heights has done really good things. You don't have to call him great things, but at a minimum, he's done really good things.
Kevin Stfansky got really good out of Baker Mayfield. He got really good out of Nick Chub. He was getting really good out of Quinchan Junkens. He got really good out of Harold Fannon. He knows how to make tight ends eat David and Jooku. He knows how to allow running backs to eat. He knows how to call up those systems. So, I want to entrust my young offense with Stfansky. Here's the other thing. Go get a good DC. Can I bring Jim Schwarz with me? Because Jaylen Pierce, help me with this name, Kieran. He's a dog. 10 and a half sacks.
Oh, uh yeah. What's that? James Pierce. James Pierce, he a dog. Xavier Watts, he's a dog. Uh they have another linebacker they drafted in the first round. Jaylen Walker, he's a dog. See if I can go get Jim Schwarz. So, as as I look at it right now, I like Kevin Stfansky as much as, if not more than I like uh Kell Moore. I like him as much as, if not more than I like what Todd BS has done. I like him as much as, if not more than I like Canalis.
Like, you you put him there. Kevin Stfansky, I think, has as many playoff appearances as any of those coaches, head coaches, they're all young. Todd BS, I think he has maybe three playoff appearances. So, hell yeah. I think Kevin Sansky walks into that division and I would probably say he's the best head coach right now.
Shady, any thoughts? Wait, that like that? Too bad. Terrible You won seven games in two years. Is that just that good that fast?
The coaches aren't good. Um chat saying you about to buy a Stfansky Atlanta Falcons jersey.
Yo, that's funny though. You going to be wearing that one like a Victor. I don't know if this is a great hire though. I mean, I feel like this hire was lazy.
Yeah. Really? They interviewed him twice. They met at whole cycles. No, no, no. Lazy as in like, did you holl at Harball?
Oh, got you. Way more successful. Better coach. Like way better coach. Like way way way better coach. Um, Brian Dball, right? Cuz I'm thinking, okay, a coach that cuz if you hired Stfansky, you hiring a guy that at one point was good, was a a coach of the year,
right? I mean, I just was lazy. so many other coaches you went out there you could have hired to talk to. You didn't do it. And I was and I'm thinking like what the what you love so much about Kevin Stfansky though. He show you he can't really control the locker room, right? He shows you that he's not really a winner lately recently. I don't know. But we'll see though. I I don't think he's a um a terrible coach though. I think he's smart. I watch some of his Well, see I don't know. He I he used to be cuz now when I watch his tape and I watch some of the concepts, I'm like what are they trying to run here? What are they trying to do? So, we'll we'll see how that works out. I guess the one thing I will say is hire a guy like Stfansky.
If you're not expecting much, you'll be in a good shape because that division is real real real real bad.
So, you're going against the Saints who just don't ever win. You going against the Bucks who only win in that division really.
So, you don't really have nobody really, you know, to go against. I think it was the best job opening.
And also, the last time we saw Kevin Sfansky with a running back of or similar to Bean's caliber, Nick Chub had a 1500 yard season and 12 touchdowns like and they made the playoffs. Yeah.
So, I'm not here to say that they like I think they should be a playoff team next year. I think regardless of the running backs though.
No, I I'm saying he going to get he going to do his thing regardless anyway. But hopefully he gives it to him.
Yeah. Yeah, that's that's what I'm saying. I'm more so saying I trust him to give his running back the also the best we've seen Stfansky offenses look are when they have an elite running back back there. when Nick Chub was a top three, top four, top five running back in the NFL, that's when Stfansy's offenses were making it to the playoffs and they were actually performing well enough and
if they don't if they do go get a Schwarz, I I like it a whole lot more and we get to see how good of a coach he really is. I do think it's a risk though. I think I think I think people think it's not a risk because of the of the of the um
You think the fans get a risk? I think he is. I I think people think he's not a risk because of oh he's he won he won two coaches of the year in Cleveland and this and this and that and the roster was bad and whatnot. what happens when he gets out there and maybe that offense is just as stale as it's looked the past.
But but here's here's here's here's why I believe that to be impossible. And and here's the other thing we don't talk enough about. Stansky can put together one hell of a staff cuz we don't give enough credit to that running back coach,
Duce Staley. So hopefully he can find a way to bring Deuce over there too. Hey Deuce, come coach Bean.
And let me give you let me give you as much bread as you need. Come coach the best running back in football because Duce Staley know how to coach them running backs. Jim Schwarz knows how to dial up a defense. The reason I say it's impossible, remember who the Browns were alleged to get at quarterback this season? Oh, wait. Kurt Cousins.
Who's in Atlanta? Oh, wait. Kurt Cousins. What kind of quarterback does Kevin Stfansky want?
Oh, wait. Kurt Cousins. So, even if Michael Pennix doesn't play, Stfan like Kevin Stfansky, the reason I think he's the safe bet, and this this was a thoughtout bet was because the risky bet is to go get Mike McDaniel, somebody who at least like hasn't actually won anything. You know what I mean? Like I don't even know if McDaniels won a playoff game, you know what I mean? Like he ain't even won nothing. Um a less risky bet would be a Brian Dable. The only dilemma I think with Brian Dables, he's not as seasoned in the sense of like he hasn't had as many highs or lows. Zansky, for whatever it's worth, he's been through the ringer, the Shador situation included. Like Sansky knows how to be under the spotlight. Now, not that Atlanta's going to put you under the spotlight, but then the last thing I'll say is like
Atlanta was risky with their last two coach hirings. I think they were done with it. What didn't they less risky than I think Raheem Morris
Raheem Morris and then Arthur Smith before that like they were risky with their last two coach hirings. I think they just want like a football coach. I don't need you to be cool with the players Raheem Morris. I don't need you to be like a first time kind of guy. Arthur Smith like just come coach ball.
I just feel like I was if I'm Atlanta fan he I he just don't he fit and I I'll leave it like that man. Like,
but Raheem Morris is great. No, what I'm saying is like, I don't think he liked the culture type players. It's just me. I could be wrong. I don't know. I just The whole Shador thing got me.
But Atlanta offensively, they ain't really got too many of them, you know? I Well, I know I've known Bean since he was in high school. Like, I recruited him to Texas. Like, bean and
no more. He hanging out with Christian McCaffy all season. That's his homeboy. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he in Atlanta during the season though. I see him with he with Gucci, man. No sh out there on the golf course. Yeah, but that's cool.
I'm not even really. Yeah, but during the season though, I've been seeing Jeezy. Oh, that that's young Jeezy. Oh,
Jeezy was at the GAME FOR THAT. T I don't know. So, look, he might hang out with all but during the season Atlanta. I don't think Bejan stepped foot in Magic City, brother. I'm sorry. I don't think I don't think he touched opium. I don't think he's been out there in any of those spots, bro. But I I will say this though, the the standard next year or I'm sorry, the expectation next year for Sfansky is to win the division.
Yeah, there's no excuses. Sorry. Like the year one, you got to step in. You have the most talented roster in that division. It's the worst division in all of football. You're supposed to be this this new coach that's that's great, a coach of the year with with a most talented roster in a bad division. You should win it. So to me, that's that's what I'm expecting from Sansky going. Is that the case though?
You got a you got a you got a budding Bryce Young that that's coming off next or you know coming back next year with a lot of confidence. You know Baker's going to come back and be Baker you know which is
good enough to be good enough but I don't know if it's if it's a cakewalk like fans should win the division in the next two years and if he doesn't you should win it next year. You have the best player in that division. You have the best roster in that division. Period.
I will say you do. That's fair. They got the best roster in that division. Yeah. The question is going to be quarterback, but if you're a Kirk Cousins guy, we've seen we've seen coaches win divisions with Kirk Cousins.
Yeah, we've seen it. Yeah. Or did the Vikings win with Kirk Cousins? They probably did.
Vikings would have had to have. I think they did it one year. Yeah. With Digs and whatnot. Yeah. Like I'm expecting you to go out there and win that division.
