From The Herd with Colin Cowherd

Colin Cowherd identifies eight NFL teams he believes are contenders for the Super Bowl, highlighting the Buffalo Bills as potential frontrunners. He discusses the strengths of teams like the Los Angeles Rams, known for their top offensive ranking, and the New England Patriots, emphasizing their strong coaching and solid performance metrics, while also noting critical matchups against other contenders.

Key Takeaways

  • Buffalo's second-half prowess: they tighten the screws when it matters, making them a third-act thriller in football.
  • New England's quiet consistency: not flashy, but they possess a rare balance—no glaring weaknesses, just classic football craftsmanship.
  • Seattle's scoring versatility shines like a late-game fireworks show—one moment it's fireworks, the next, rain-soaked chaos!
  • The Rams may be lethal offensively, but without strong special teams, they're edging on a two-dimensional game—like a movie missing a twist.
  • Houston's defense resembles football's equivalent of a magician—making opponents disappear while cleverly covering their own weaknesses beneath smoke and mirrors.
