Hello and welcome to the Macroy Entertainment System. I'm Griffin. Today we're going to be playing Animal Crossing New Horizons. And there's some New Horizons for us to explore today because uh there's a new update out, update 3.0. It actually came out yesterday. How do I get rid of this? Okay. Uh, some news. If you watched our last Animal Crossing streams like six years ago at this point, my island, Beanport, is no more. My son Henry started to play Animal Crossing last summer, so I started a new island to play along with him. The name of this island is Whisberry, which I also uh which I also used in the new season of Taz, uh because Henry's island is named Poo Routt, and I wanted some symmetry there. Anyway, welcome to Whispberry.

Let me show you around real quick before we get to the new stuff. Here's my airport. It's yellow. My favorite color. I may have restarted once or twice to get that. Here's the boardwalk. Uh, I have not I didn't play this game for about six months or so maybe. Uh, and picked it up uh, let me think, last week so that I could try and get to five stars cuz I was worried maybe some of the stuff would be fivear locked. I don't think it is, but uh, I'm happy to have had the chance to clean up my island a little bit. It's not aesthetic yet guys.

It's not aesthetic. I was just trying to get to five stars. So, everything's there's some parts that are a little higgled piggledy. I'll be the first to admit that. Here's my house. I haven't done much to it. Let's go inside. See what's going on. Uh I believe we're going to be streaming this Tuesday also for Super Macroy Brothers. Me, Justin, and Travis playing Animal Crossing. I don't know whose island we're going to go into. They have these new dream islands now where you can all build it together simultaneously. I think that sounds silly. Uh, this is the only room in which I have a full set of anything.

Upstairs, we got the bedroom. I believe I killed all the roaches already, so don't be freaked out if you don't like little bugs. Yeah. Here's my desk where I record my podcasts and play my music. Yeah. Uh, Super Macro Brothers, that's Tuesday. Uh, next Tuesday, January 20th at noon Eastern time. Here's where I do my Schleben. Uh, we liking the outfit. We feeling the the is the fit. Okay, we got options. Yeah, I found the mabim bam cover art on the uh whatever it is. Able sisters online portal. Uh villager check. I don't remember. I know I got Azie. I'm a big Octavian fan. Puddles is all right. Bree's all right. Agnes is all right. Gruff. Gruff. I could do without. Uh, here we have the shopping complex. We can just look and see if there's anything new in the crane. You can see where I measured things out with the the path tools, but I didn't actually, you know, I didn't pave the plaza. as nice as that would have been. I don't know why this seems new. I know there's new stuff in the game. Uh if you are in the chat and you have played more of this game recently and can tell what is new and what is not. Let me know cuz that seems weird.

What we got here? Yeah, sure. Might as well. Okay, let's go see the new big attraction, which is the hotel. Uh, I realized as I installed this, I'm playing this on Switch One, by the way. My son's island is on the Switch 2, and he's put so much effort into it, guys. I just couldn't bear to risk obliterating it for the purpose of this stream. I did consider going out and buying another Switch 2, but then I thought that would be like rewarding Nintendo for their sort of draconian safe data policies on some of their games, so I did not.

I forget what my town tune is. I'm going to guess no dogs on the moon just cuz it's pretty easy to put into a a music system in the in the the scale of C. This is little Okay, I'm gonna have to remember how Oh, thank you. Wow. Oh, I hope they provide furniture cuz I don't know that I have a ton. Seaside room atmosphere. No problem.

So, they do give us some furniture and I guess we can also use the stuff in our inventory. I think. Yes. No. No. This is like all their stuff. Okay, that's that's good. I don't want to go around crafting. Well, hold on. These are I think these are mine. Yeah, but it's like pulling from my home inventory. It's like this is my catalog, I think. Uh, Carousel Progress is a really really good town tune to use. Okay. Uh, let's get let's get designing. So, uh, seaside vibes is what we're shooting for here. Let's, um, let's do the floors and everything first. Uh, I mean, this is kind of sandy, don't you think? Don't you think that's kind of sandy? Don't you think anyone wants to stay in a room with a a small body of water taking up like the center half of it?

I do, now that I'm streaming this, regret getting rid of Beanport cuz God, my catalogs, they were they were thick, y'all. All right, we're going to go with the blue just for the the seaside vibes. And this, I mean, that's water, so that's easy. It does look like a baby's room. But this is a game for babies on a console for babies. Cuck chair, please. That was that was very quickly added to the chat. Um I suppose I suppose we can do that. I would like to finish my mission of kind of getting the basic decor down. Look at that.

I like that. Okay, let's start putting in some some furniture now. We'll start. I like the uh the ratan set. That's gonna go there. We're gonna rotate it like that. Put it right up against the wall. Now, we're going to have a bunch of cuck chairs. We're going to have six or six to seven cuck chairs. And that's not the the famous joke, but this room can really host a lot of cucks, I guess, all at once. These ones will be watching the other two. And I should probably get rid of the rest of these. So, we'll we'll just have four cup chairs.

Maybe one more. Is there a cuck bench? No, there is not. So, we'll put him there. And this one's kind of watching the whole That's like That one's holding court. I should probably make sure they can get into the room. Um, now we're going to have an end table in here. We're going to have non cuck chairs. This is where we get the extra chairs in. These these This is for folks who are just kind of there. The room can be multi-purpose. Obviously, a good 85% of it is going to be dedicated to a certain purpose. I'm going to obscure the vision of No, we can't have them face each other.

That's nothing. Don't Don't call anything in this room the Splash Zone. That sucks. This is a game for babies. Please behave yourselves. Uh, a little low table here. All right, that's kind of cool actually right there. Now, what else is going in this room? A ratan waste bin. We're going to generate a lot of waste. Put it there. We'll just get one going for everyone. Everyone gets their own. This one's going to have to go behind it if there's room. Oh god. Okay, we can't give everyone their own. We do need uh What if the What if the hotel room when you came into it already had a suitcase?

Already had a suitcase in it. That's kind of cool, don't you think? Cuz then it's like a mystery. Let me get the uh little bit of natural life in here. Let's get a surfboard because it's again a seaside sort of vibe. Um, we're going to have pizza. We're going to have a whole spread actually of snacks ready for the guests here. We're going to have some ground carpacio. We're going to have marmalade. This is multi-purpose. This could be used for anything in here. We're going to have um I mean, we got to have music. We're just going to put that. Well, we need an end table to put that on, don't we?

We need a surface for that. Have we used all the different ratan stuff? I love the sound of this, guys. This is looking so good. I can't believe this is my first time. This is like my first one of these. What else are we getting on there? Some wall some wall hanging stuff. Towels. Smart. Those are at the ready. Can't flip that. Huh? Can't flip that on the X- axis. Um, we're going to put up Brewster is going to be watching the whole the whole thing. That's inspiration right there. That's a That's a That's a handsome small business owner.

We're going to have these guys watching. They're peeking out from behind the Nope. We got to go somewhere else. Okay, he's just gone now. We're going to have a scary pumpkin man. Oh, that's big. Um, which of these which of these gyroids would be best suited for a kind of um nautical themed love making zone? Boyoid. Correct. You know what? I'm going to boing is not doing actually a ton. Um, not not bendoid. Hopefully not crumploid. Bloopid flutoid oinkoid ringoid twang, termoid, toxque squeezoid, and um, something sort of harmonic would be great.

I think there was a blue void. This is looking [ __ ] great, guys. I don't have I don't have all of them. There may be a boinkoid. There is a bubbleoid, but that's I don't have that one. I'm pretty familiar with the gyroids because I uh don't tell Nintendo 3D printed a bunch of them as a present for uh for Henry this past Christmas. So, if anyone needs any small kind of totems of the uh of the uh of the gyroid population, you can I can hook you up. Anything else? Anything else we should put in here? How about a fish?

What kind of fish? Little seahorse. Cute. Where's he going to go? We need another table for him. Don't have a ton of room. Maybe the seahorse goes right there. Maybe the seahorse is the one walk. Yeah, that's it, isn't it? We get rid of that. The seahorse is a central figure in this. Yeah, that's cool. We got the ground carpacio. We got surfboard. Guys, this is a great room. There's not much more modern than being able to see it like a like a city that has like lights and technology and stuff in it. We're going to go over here to the floors. What's modern dirt? That's not modern. That's kind of cool. Oh, cubist. Yeah, look at that. How modern. It's got cubes. Cool. All right. Now, let's get into our furniture.

We're not even going to look at the recommended stuff. And maybe we are. I'm too if I go through everything the option, it's too much options. I do need it to be maybe let me grab a few um you know, big sort of set piece items. Something very modern. What about a ferris wheel? Can we put like a whole ass ferris wheel in here? Yeah, we can. No, that's I have my food handlers license. I do not want to lose it on a technicality because I did that in a game. Oh, yeah. The tubular set. I forgot all about it. The proportion of this is kind of wild.

That's like a huge That's like an enormous bookshelf. That's kind of cool. Maybe more of a low table vibe over there. Not an iron work table, though. That's Oh, all right. Put some some uh put some chairs. We got chairs. We do normal amount of chairs. Maybe a little close to the bedet, but a little bit of space there so it's not the first thing you see when you walk in. Now, we're going to we're going to put some stuff up in here, guys. Uh, I think the new kind of like thing for sale is the Switch 2 version of the game, which may require an update or an one of those $10 upgrades or maybe not if you have like a Switch online. I don't know the details of that because again, this is on Switch One. I couldn't do this on Switch 2 because I would have to destroy my son's island to do so, and I'm not about to do that. All right, what else is new in this update? What should I go check out? I'll just kind of tool around. Uh, but I'll keep an eye on the chat. You let me know. Oh, only five bucks, I guess, for the upgrade. Uh, let me know what you want me to do. I don't really know what all new stuff there is besides uh besides the hotel. And Mr. Rosetti.

Okay. This might be better. This might be better. Especially if uh if we end up playing this on this island on uh on Tuesday for the next stream. Let's go with I like this. Cuz the other gyroids seem to have a little bit more agency, a little bit more life. That one it seems like it's just serving kind of the one purpose. Whoa. The classic, the original. Can I get up

So, how do I get other people in here? Okay. A doze code. Okay, great. and the island's name. All right, that's a that's a a lot of robust features. I can change my outfit. This is neat. This is It seems like they've thought of a lot of stuff that people would want to uh play this mode together. Okay. Bridges and inclines. Pitfall seats.

I want gold nuggets. What am I going to do with gold nuggets? Holy [ __ ] This is going to be a disaster. Me some nuggets. That's really good, too. This is really, really fun. All right. Actually, I'm good. bridges and inclines. Can I just put them anywhere?

Be great if they added more bridge and incline types, but it doesn't seem like they have. That's okay. A red steel staircase. Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't do it in real life cuz it's so expensive. Cool. All right. What do we got here? Peaches. Cool. All right. This is a little bit bigger than I was anticipating, but I like it. Uh, what do we think? Can I? Yes, I can. Excellent. Some of the controls are a little different here in Dreamy Dreamy mode. How wide is it incline? I think it's only two, right? Can't leave a sharp corner. That'll be out of your mind.

So, how do I Now we're back in sort of normal mode and I can build a dream incline. Oh, nope. Sorry. I didn't realize I would need to be facing the correct direction, but that makes a lot of sense. No way. Okay, I'm gonna try out if you hold L, you can move without turning. I think that's probably only when you're in construction mode, but sure. And now I guess I don't have to wait until tomorrow. It's just right there cuz none of this is real, you guys. This is just a dream. Just a dream world. Cool. Nope. Okay, you can do it whenever.

That's really good. I like that a whole lot. Let me set something up real quick. Can I use my phone? Yes, I can. That looks so goofy. Okay, set that right there. Oh no, I can't do it. I was hoping I could do the weird little side step thing. No, that's all right. Uh, okay. So, close this. And now, if I want to decorate, can I go into advanced decoration mode? No. But I can just pull whatever the hell I want to out of my pockets. And this is my whole catalog. So we could have it we could have like a cool battle. Like a cool robot battle.

Yeah. Got my Dream axe. Dream axe still takes three wax, which is cool. You would think a dream axe dream a little bigger, darling. Nope. If I just tap left bumper. Oh, yeah. So, I'm I guess this aligns you to a grid. Seems like that would be handy for watering flowers, but I don't have any of those. So, we can put like a couple of these guys out there. Yes, there is. Shush. Yes, there is. I promise you. All right, we're going to just put him down over here, I guess. All right, this is cool. I wish we had one of them one of them big Godzilla monsters, but I don't think we've uh unlocked that yet.

Cool. Neat battle arena. Oh, maybe they're actually silly. Maybe instead of fighting, they're like, you know, playing playing volleyball. I can just pick trees up fully and completely no problem. Do not need these peaches. Nope. Just That's crazy. Didn't need to do that. This is the first thing you see when you come to this island, and I think that's great.

Here we go. This is just sort of the first kind of feature. I don't know why it's important that it be the very first thing that I do, but it's just where inspiration struck. Now, how do I Okay, so variations. Yep. I This is too much. This is too much power and possibility. I do kind of wish you could just do this to your actual island, but um I guess I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Put those into place.

All right, that's cool. So, we start out right there and you know like this island is not to be trifled with. There's big important things happening here. What else is important for like an island? What does every island need to have? Can I have a jetty? May I make a jetty, please? like a just a little pier where I can put boats of different shapes and sizes. Where's my boats? Ah, yes. It's likely under housewares. Yacht yacht yachts yachts yachts yachts yachts. I know. I went by it, didn't I? Ha. That's not really the direction I wanted you to face.

There we go. Yeah, like a sort of a marina vibe, you know. Another yacht. Multiple yachts. So, I can put logos on them. Oh, that's great. Sure. All right, cool. Put a couple more of those down and then build build it up a little bit, you know. Here we go. I don't know why they said that 2.0 was going to be the final update and then released. pretty [ __ ] huge update. Here we go. The drag and drop editor that you use in your house would have been pretty choicier. And one more for good measure. And let's let's let's change it up a little bit.

I like that one. There we go. Push that right out. Out to sea. Cool. Got some boats here. Those are neat. What other sort of nautical What else would there be on a pier? I guess barrels. I don't think I actually left enough room to get in there unless I Nope. I don't want to put a damaged boat. Uh let's get a generator. I know that's important for boat people. Probably should have laid down, you know, like some wood here to make it look like a like a dock or a pier or whatever. Let's drop a couple of these uh wave breakers.

Not what I meant to do. Let's drop a couple of these wave breakers. There's so many buttons, you guys. God damn you. I don't know why my cursor keeps moving. Cool. Let's get uh What's going on here? I mean, this is a nice little zone. So, like that can be the boat zone. This can be like the beachtime party zone. I like that a lot. Let's build some fences to separate out the beachtime party zone. Wow, I don't have very many fences, do I? All right, I guess we're going to do corral fencing here.

This is where you This is where you come to unwind. I mean, I guess you're unconscious if you come here. Should probably leave an an opening. Yep. This feels nice. I need to I guess I need to go home and craft more fencing alternatives. cuz it is uh a bit bare bones at the moment.

All right, that's cool. We've set a perimeter for for leisure. What are we going to have here? I do wish there was a sort by theme kind of option. I don't believe there is. All right. Um, raton chairs are not bad. Um, I guess we could put these cute little beastro tables down. Why don't I just do a couple of those and then it could be like um you know like a little seaside cafe. That could be cool. Little seaside cafe. My imagination, guys. It's it's been it's been kindled, you know. Ice cream stand. I mean, I have one of those set up at home. I'd like some variety. Do I have any other sort of restaurant vibe things? I don't believe I do.

Do think I have a diner sort of platform somewhere. You know what? We're going to search by alphabetical diner. Diner. Diner. D. There we go. Diner counter table. What's nautical? Light blue aquamarine. Yep. Put that away, son.

Okay, that's cool. And this then we can put down like um you know cash cash register espresso maker. That's big. Need to be a little bit more uh uh careful about where I put that. We need some space here for like more [ __ ] But you know what? This is just kind of rough draft stuff. I imagine once the other boys get in here, it's going to be a a right disaster. Do we have a cash register? I thought we did. That'd be under R for register or C for cash or N for neither cuz I don't have one. All right. So, honor system. Put your money in the pot.

Okay. So, next thing we're going to do, well, we need to finish actually putting down. Nope. All right. There's myself an exit there. Now, we're going to Get out my shovel. Not a ton of space here, huh?

Nope. I got to dig holes. What am I doing? Okay, we're going to bury some seeds. Now, the odds of us falling in one of these are quite high. Nope. Bury one. Let's get out our fencing again. Nope. Nope. Yep. Nope. We need fences. Why do I not put on a special fencing hat? Here we go. Get out the McDonald's play place. Good. Okay, so that's all good to go. All right, we got to do this quick. Nope. Nope. I guess.

Awesome. Now, is he actually gonna move around or is he see you in hell? If you die in the dream island, you die in real life. All right, what other stuff do we want to do here? Probably going to go for a little bit longer. So again, if you're just joining us, we're going to be streaming uh I believe all three of us playing Animal Crossing on Tuesday the 20th at noon for uh Super Macroy Brothers.
