This is the full, timestamped transcript of "You're A TRAY-OR: Friday, February 27th, 2026", an episode of The Toast published February 27, 2026 (1 h 10 min, about 16,643 words). It mentions 36 people, works and ideas, including Jackie, Jackson Claude, Netflix, Paramount, Sophia Rob.

What this episode is about

Main topic: A Friday morning show segment featuring host Jackson Claude and a guest, Jackie, discussing personal bios, social media captions, and the idea of evolving identity through phrases like “mom of three” and “mother to many,” with light, celebratory banter between hosts. Key points: casual conversations about Instagram bios, captioning decisions, and evolving roles within a family and online persona.

Key takeaways

  • Bio quality matters: a punchy line (mom of three, mother to all) can define persona more than icons or hashtags.
  • Reunion energy vs finale: some shows overcorrect from drama to unserious—tone consistency drives trust.
  • Creative authenticity trumps polish: unapologetic, quirky captions and personal quirks build fan allegiance.
  • Media cadence matters: timing (reunions, drops) can make or break audience investment and memory.
  • Host influence matters: a smooth, confident host shapes perception as much as plot twists or guests.

Good morning. It's the It's Jackson Claude and we're your host. It's your favorite show. The best five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast. They sound amazing. Welcome back to the toast and happy Friday. That's right. cause for celebration and I've decided to celebrate by having a guest on the show. Um, you know her, you love her. You know, mom to many, mother to three. It's Jackie.

Oh, that's so sweet. That's a cute Instagram bio for me. You know, when we had our six-year toastversary party, we like gave a speech

and then we were like thanking, you know, everyone like our partners and our families and then we thanked each other. And I remember I had thought of the line before. I said,

I forget exactly what I said. I have it on camera somewhere. I said like at the time it was mom of two.

Mom of two. Yeah. Mom of two. Like mother to all or something. It was like really insightful.

Wait. I love it. That's such a great Instagram bio for me. Maybe I've graduated from being like Jenz's big sister

to being like the Jenz's mother. The father figure we all need for sure. I love that.

I think I have morphed. I will. That's a really cute bio. Like like what did you say again?

Mother of No, mom of three, mother to all. Okay. Mother to many. Something like Let me know what you guys think cuz of course you're going to be able to fine-tune it better than I did myself. By the way, the next time I'm posting a photo on Instagram, I'm posting it to my story first and saying,

"Help me with this caption. Help me with this caption because it's just a slay all day."

I um I don't know if I ever told everyone like where I landed on my personal Instagram bio journey cuz I was like torturing everyone for like a week.

Yeah. I thought like strong opinions loosely held. No. And then I changed it. And where I landed was something I was really proud of which was quoting my favorite artist, Chapel Ron. Um, your favorite podcaster's favorite podcaster.

Okay. Like I'm your favorite artist's favorite artist and I'm literally your favorite podcaster's favorite podcast.

Oh, okay. I didn't realize that was Chapel definitely like knocks it a few points.

You have to um hate the player but not the game. You know, I feel as though your bio should be like Queen Corgi.

No. Like now and forever. I did see Pug Caso's performance. What did he sing this time?

Uh, from Spice Girls. Oh, okay. What did he sing? I I actually don't remember what song it was, but it was the most amazing rendition. Philip Phillips is insanely talented.

You feel like you would have said that if you didn't know that it was Philip Phillips. Like when you still anonymous

pug with ordinary like it was bothering me how good his cover was. Like yeah, talent reigns supreme. That's always been our a philosophy, a core tenant here of the toast. Like the cream rises

cream rises and does. It does. Happy for Pugaso that you finally turned a corner. I'm so excited for today.

Whoever Pug Caso is, we have to have him on the toast when all it's obviously Philip Phillips. Like, it's not even a question.

Have Philip Phillips on the toast. Today's episode is so great because we have so many stories. The traitor's finale. We throw away the season of Traders again.

Do we have to wait till the end to recap Traitors cuz it's like the number one thing in my mind. Did you watch the reunion?

So, I did and I want to go out on a limb and say Traders is not a show that needs a reunion. I thought that it was. Um I didn't want did not watch the whole thing. They were bringing out tears of people, right? I didn't wait for like the final tier. Um, it was so unserious after the show was made. Like the show, what I like about it, it's very dramatic. It's theatrical. We're burning coffins and like you, it takes you a minute when it's over to be like this is just a game. It's so serious.

How to react like do we love Rob? Do we hate Rob? Like, but I'm saying regardless of wherever you landed, like they just make it so serious. I think that they lock people. It's like very much like a psychological experiment. you are cut off from the world and then you go to the reunion which was so unserious. I was like it was such a like an antilimactic comedown. I don't know. I kind of like I wish they released the reunion maybe next week. I did not like watching the reunion after the finale. It felt like okay so that was all like fake in a game and it was so stupid. Why did I get invested?

So late like I turned it off in the middle. It was like 11:15. I didn't even know if you were watching it and I was like I I have to

Oh, 11:15. No, I didn't make it that. I have to prioritize my mental health. I wanted to see Mora talk to you know what sorry we'll talk we'll save it for the end

but also it's crazy that they dropped the reunion right after the episode when like for Love Island they had the reunion two months after the episode like ever heard of a week Peacock ever heard of just like one week

not only that like if you had waited like literally one more week like Johnny and Tara two very important characters could have joined not from Milan like it was so janky and then like

I actually thought it was not the way they were introducing people like Colton sitting on a big couch by himself like it was so weird. I feel like everyone does reunions now and no one really knows how to do them except for Andy and Housewives and this got that treatment. I was like, "Okay, good." Like a normal reunion. And honestly, I know I knock Andy like a lot and like, you know, have a lot of [ __ ] to talk about him,

but nobody does a reunion like him. And like I don't know what talent that is, but like it just is so smooth and the questions are answered and we get to the need to know information.

I mean, he's done it so many times. He has that over other people. He's I don't know why like no one else can do it.

I know. No one else can do it. It's like something that will like die with him.

You have to be like willing to like start stuff but also totally affable and like have people open up to you. Also, you just can't you have to have balls like to say some of these questions

and you have to have seniority because you can't have balls without see who are you to ask me that like relevant,

right? Yeah. No, it's it's an art and he's mastered it completely. I I don't know if we've seen a reunion. I I I can't even think of all the like Ariana did Love Island and it's just like they keep bringing new people to new secret help her with that he remember

he had to come in. Yeah. Yeah. Um they also keep trying new people for the secret lives of Mormon wise. It's hard

but there I can't like judge Stacey on how she hosts a reunion because that was not a reunion. That was a Duncan refresh commercial. It was terrible. Yeah,

that was not a reunion. Agreed 100%. The art of the reunion it's it's going to be lost.

I think people thought like Nick Vile was like too biased which it's very hard not to be. I didn't watch Can't say.

Me neither. Um, so we will do a full try as throwaway recap at the end. Is that going to be that's going to be our final?

Of course. Like I'm literally going to be sitting on my hands the whole time. I know. Um, we've got no business news. We've got

Queenie and weenie. It's kind of like a big chunky deck. Queen and we Queen and I'm so excited for my queen. I'm I'm going to introduce you to a for the first time ever. I'm breaking boundaries. My Queenie is a stark. My Queenie is not a person, place, or thing. My queenie is a concept.

Okay. Air rights. No, similar like very similar. Okay. In its conceptualness. Okay.

And it's a concept like you sort of need to know about. Okay. Like air rights. Ex much like air rights.

Okay. I look forward to learning something life-changing like air rights. Yeah.

For all the buildings I'm buying and developing. And unfortunately my weenie is someone in this room.

Look around. I feel like Alan Cummings. I feel like it could only be me because like what are you going to like slam these?

You'll see. You'll see. Everybody just stay tuned to the end of the episode for more

murder. Murder. He's so crazy. And then that last outfit like Yeah, that's what this win calls for.

No, but I first of all, I lived for it. He looked like a background actor in Jawbreaker. Like insane. So not in theme with the rest of his outfits.

Why didn't he host the reunion? Well, I actually appreciate that he did Like he obviously can't like obviously not it.

I don't want him to but like the show has a host. The host is good. I love that he didn't like I can't explain it. Like don't

but he and he would make it like all about him. Like no offense to him. He's like a theatrical person. Yeah. It's not about Alan.

Murder. Murder. Um so yeah. Anything else you want to chitchat about? No. What was yesterday? We majed hard.

We played maj literally till the break of swan. Um, it was a good day for Maj. Like

everybody won. It was good. Yeah, everyone won. I felt like good. I had a I played some new hand. I won some new hands.

That's exciting. Once you like win a new hand, like it's yours. Like I can do that hand anytime, any place. It's going down.

And you really should diversify the types of hands you do because once you like memorize the book,

you become more player. Yeah. So if you are fluent in every hand, the game is yours.

Correct. My gameplay yesterday was on point. Was on point. I felt like Rob. Let's Let's just start the show so we can get to Okay. What we need to get done.

Nothing else that you like want to share. I'm trying to think. Like we majed dinner. Miss Margo's here.

I had my date night. You had your date night. Let me tell you how bad I wanted to cancel.

Wait, but how was it? Did you like the restaurant? It was all great. And you know what? I love a restaurant that's quick. Like I was so tired and like we both were like, "We can't cancel. We can't cancel." Like staying up past bedtime to go to dinner. And we were like, "We can't cancel. We can't cancel." We were so tired and it was traders. Like, I just wanted to get in my cozies. But we were like, "We are doing this [ __ ] date night and you're going to like it."

And so we went and they sat us early. They dinner was literally under an hour. They had the fastest service ever. The food was delicious. Um,

are you glad that you went tens across the board when you were sitting there where you're like, I'm glad we did this?

Yes. And actually, I hadn't seen Ben all day. We had a lot to catch up with. I told him about maong and stuff with work and I got like, you know, and it was good. It was like, I understand why people do day night. I feel more connected.

Oh, good. Um, I was so tired and I was like wearing the same outfit and makeup that I put on at 9:00 a.m. I felt disgusting. But you know what? Day night

day. Okay, good. I'm glad cuz sometimes like when you go out it's just like this. I shouldn't have done this. This was my time. Like I need those hours back. Traders, etc.

Oh, and then like you know everywhere here like has valet. Uh the valet you go has valet.

There was this couple fighting so badly. Like this older couple in like whispers, you know, but I was standing right next to them. It was probably the best part of the night like living. She was so mean.

What was the problem? Something about real estate. Like he must have made a mistake. Um and she was like, "And now we have to list it for a million more or something like

drama." I know. She was so [ __ ] scary. And I'm like, I just knew she was right. You know, and he was just like withering away like coming into himself. And I'm like, keep going, girl. Go. I just knew. Like I just knew.

Wow. Yeah. Okay. Well, happy for you guys. What I was saying, Miss Marggo's here. Did you know that?

Yeah, we're spending the weekend with our little sis. Sad she came to my house last night. That's also why I had to start Traers late because she came at like 8:30

and a good host to put out a spread. And I like needed to see my little sister and catch up with her.

And how was our little sister? She was adorable. You say anything about me? Not a word. We most

we mostly asked about her, you know. And how is she? She's good. And I think she's like excited to be here with her family.

You think? I do. I think she's craving family. Like like the little girl at Mr. C. Time for her sisters.

All you need is family. She loves her sisters and her family. And that's just like what she needs right now.

Fun fact, I never need my family cuz I'm always with my family. Because you desperately need them.

No, I don't. Because I'm with But you are with You can't crave something you have. You know,

I feel like you Isn't that beautiful? Oh, cuz you can't lose something you never had.

Exist. It's beautiful. It is. Once again, not respecting my calls. I'm so used to it at this point. I saw this like scathing expose on um Ballerina Farm this morning on TikTok. It was so frustrating.

What's the tea? Like they found her like I guess Ballerina Farm started as a blog which was very much like an innermost diary of her thoughts at a very crucial time in her life. She had just left New York. She had just left Jiuliard. She got married. She had kids young. They were living in Brazil. And she was just writing a lot about like in the early days of motherhood a lot of times she just feels like a cow and a counter cleaner and you know it's crazy how much has changed in her life being like look they tore her dreams from her she can't be a ballerina and it's like no that's just like called being a mom like it was really not it was not that deep.

It's just you know called life changes. No it's called growing up like Yeah. No

very tough choices to make as a woman and juggling the person you were with the person you're becoming and yeah you have to make sacrifices. It's hard. It's hard. It's the hardest job in the world.

Yeah. I was pleased to see the comment section was like pretty much on my side just being like we have to stop seeing her as like this perpetual victim. Like she does have agency over her own life. Like

she does. She's okay not being a ballerina. Like because she's a grown woman now. Mom of you know.

No. And like ballerinas have to grow up. Ballerinas grow up too. You know what I mean? You can't be a ballerina forever.

I don't know that Misty Copelan. She is ballerining. She's crushing it. Like she's

But there's only one Misty Copeland. There's thousands of ballerinas who had to give up the dream.

And only one Misty Copeland. She is actually I would say she's probably the second most famous ballerina right now.

Yeah. But not but not for her dancing. No, she could start dancing on Instagram if she wanted to. We would love that if she was like doing twirls around the farm. She does.

She could literally do whatever she want. The the world's a stage. She literally has a stage like on her compound

and on her Instagram. If we had a compound, we would obviously have like multiple dwellings, right? Our main home, we would have, of course, a state-of-the-art podcast studio. Um, I would like um like maybe like a recording studio like for music. Um, of course, we'd have a garden. Like, what other dwellings would we have? She has a a ballet studio,

right? So, there she is, right? Living her dream. What dwellings would you wish for on our compound?

Oh, I feel like you'd need like a crafts room where you could just like do all your

like Craig has. You als we would need a test kitchen of course for Ben. Oh, yeah. We need a studio kitchen for Ben. Um, you know, people have like a gift wrapping room. Oh, we need a game room.

Yeah, like a ribbon. Oh, we need like we need a game mansion. Like I need multiple rooms.

Yeah, we need a game house and then one house in that one room in that house is for Maj, right? because I don't want like people with their other games like

get out of here smelly old games um but yeah people have like gift wrapping rooms in their house like how many gifts are you wrapping?

Yeah, I know. And I'm not like a huge giftgiver and when I am it's like I'm I'm not wrapping it either unless you're going to like kids parties. Kids parties I feel like you have to wrap.

Yeah, you do. But it's like let's kids party gifts. It's like everyone just ran out to CVS and bought someone a piece of crap and it's like I didn't need I don't need it.

I do feel like kids parties like also you save all the gifts and you give them to other people

like when someone doesn't give me a gift for a kids party. I I don't know I don't I don't notice it like it doesn't bother me and that I hope that I'm extended that same grace like karmically if I ever arrived to a party and I and I didn't bring a gift. I think that um in my future I will be doing gift lists like please don't bring gifts. I went to a party recently and on the invitation it said please don't bring gifts

just what I need more crap in my house and I was like that is such a slay in lie of gifts please make a donation to the Mark Shen winner Holocaust Education Foundation

gifts just show up and have a good time yeah have a bagel like we didn't need like a $20 piece of junk

I agree no my birthday parties for me and all my children will be like gift and not because I'm like you know waste management queen I don't want crap in my house

my garage like it's just so much stuff You know, you need a little something special. You go to the trove. You got a trove.

Well, you got a trove. I have a trove right now. A trove away votes. A trove. Uh but yeah, like give yourself grace. If you showed up to the kids party without a gift, like I don't think anyone's remembering that. I'm certainly not.

I do think we should dive in. We have so much to cover. Like we said we were going to do that and waste 10 more minutes.

We have some very exciting news because if you're a regular listener, you know we talk about all the time. We really love their stuff and we're big fans of the brand. They've been sponsoring our show for a while.

Um, so everyone knows the Princess Diana photo where she's wearing the mock neck and the biker shorts. Roback has just recreated that for the modern woman in pgy styles in pgy colors in pargy materials. So their mock neck, it's called the Bedford mock neck. It's back in stock. Mock necks are having a huge moment right now and I do feel like Robex is one of the best ones. It is a very cute embroidery. It comes in two colors, navy and ivory. The last time it dropped, it sold out in like under a week. So, if you've been waiting for it to come back or you couldn't get it last time, highly recommend heading to Roback now to get it. They also just launched biker short sets for the first time.

Coming in classic colors like black and navy. Plus, they also launched like a blue. It's like a very pretty blue. It's called bunker brew. Bunker blue, excuse me. The sets are incredibly comfortable. They're super flattering. And when you pair it with the mock neck, you'll literally transform into like a cool little girl. You know, if you just want to be cool, head to Robac. Use our code toast at roback.com for a generous 20% off your first order through the end of this week. Rob is spelled rhk.com through the end of this week. If you place an order, you will get 20% off your first order. Only when you use code toast. The products that I mentioned are the Bedford mock neck, which I would highly recommend. And then if you don't have the right thing to pair it with or you're just like in the market for new biker short sets, check out the new biker shorts. Making biker shorts is an art. You know, you want to feel

compressed, you want to feel smooth, but you don't want to feel constricted. Um, and I really like the ones from Roback. So, roach rho b-ac.com code toast t o a s t for 20% off your first order through the end of this week.

Thank you, Turt. You're welcome. Our first story is some major biz news and ongoing story as a major development.

Forgot about this story. I just want to say we were talking about it every day for a week

as Netflix backs out of the Warner Brothers bidding and Paramount is set to win the bid. So, in a stunning twist, Netflix's CEO says the major studio was always uh nice to have at the right price, not a mustave at any price. As Paramount continues to increase their bid, it went into the hundreds of billions of dollars and Netflix has officially bowed out, which leaves Paramount the last man standing to acquire Warner Brothers Discovery Co.,

HBO. Um, it was like so an underdog, right? I feel like when we were talking about it, like the deal was already moving forward. I feel like these are the types of deals that have to be like approved by the government. So like they were moving forward and Paramount was

they sent out an email to their subscribers. Yeah. I got an email from Netflix being like welcome HBO. That was they really got ahead of themselves. Um and based on what I had read like the Paramount deal financially like was better from the very beginning. So I wasn't sure why they didn't get it and then it was like back and forth for like a week or two and then I never heard. So I actually thought about it the other day. I'm like oh I guess like they just got it. We never got sort of like a summation of the whole thing. And I guess the streaming wars are like very much back on.

Yeah. Because now they're like a conglomerate in the making. Paramount. They have MTV, CBS, VH1. Now they have HBO. Um

Viacom. Viacom. Yeah. Um so I guess we're back. HBO Discovery. Discovery. Discovery Plus. Bring back Discovery Plus.

Oh, you know Discovery Plus is very much alive and well. Every time we talk about the streaming wars, we're like And then remember Discovery Plus? They literally keep leaving comments on our Instagram being like, "Hey, we're still here." I'm like "Oh okay.

Bring it back. You guys cries. We miss you. Well, I guess they're now going to be folded into Paramount Plus

and HBO will be folded into Paramount Plus. I feel like they need a new name to like they need just a

fresh a fresh name that's not tied to like any one of these players. And I'm feeling like I I don't know when the last time I renewed my Paramount Plus. It was probably for Yellowstone.

Yeah. And I have a feeling I'm going to need that again cuz a lot of my HBO shows

Yeah. seems like they might be there or they're going to keep them separate. I have no idea. I think one

and HBO Max just like can't go through another app. Like we're on our fourth app.

Yeah. But I think they are about to go through another one and it has to be their final destination

and they're struggling with their identity and you have to give them space. It's true. It's true.

To understand who they are and what and now they've just been adopted by Paramount. So maybe they don't have to make these hard decisions anymore because they obviously couldn't handle it.

Well, congrats. I feel like true. This is a true underdog story. It is. But it's also like the the richest company one like the one willing to pay the big bucks. The money was green. And also at a certain point they I guess like

HBO wanted to Warner Brothers wanted to go with like Netflix. They were like a little swankier than Paramount or like the Netflix family.

Um but at a certain point they can't not take the the most money deal because like for their shareholders it's like well the money is green we're going to make money.

When you're a publicly traded company you legally have to take the best financial offer. So that's why it got so

and then came hostile takeover. There was hostility. So like for Netflix like yeah it would have been nice to have all these HBO shows but Netflix is so far above all the other streamers in terms of subscribers. I think they're like re like crawling towards 300 million users and everybody else is like barely has 100 million. So for them like yes it would have been nice. They didn't need to pay an insane price for it and that's what the CEO is saying and he's right for that. Whereas Paramount like they were very much like on the precipice of dropping out of the streaming wars. Like I don't know anybody who like actively watches Paramount Plus. It's game on

now. It's game on. I I like it on their big, you know, this is great for the the

consumer wins. Yep. Competition. You know, everybody's trying to be better and hopefully have better content and trying

lower prices and impress me. Lower prices. Wanted. If Netflix had gotten HBO, like they could have raised their price and like literally nobody could have done anything about it.

Yeah, that's true. So, I feel like now there's three biggies right? Netflix, which has everything. Hulu, Disney, ABC, ESPN, they're pretty good. and Paramount and HBO now, Warner Brothers, whatever you want to call it.

Yeah, I feel like we're forgetting. Oh, Peacock is somewhere in in the world. Peacock actually is like somewhere in the world. They do a pretty good job.

And like YouTube TV, that's cable. That's not a like that's old. It's not cable,

but they don't create original content on YouTube TV. They're just like streaming all the [ __ ] you can find on Netflix and and everything.

Okay. But like it's doing something. Yeah. I don't I don't know where YouTube TV I can't think like that. I don't know. I know. But I don't know.

It's not cable. It feels like cable. It's like digital cable. Yeah. I don't know. Everyone at a certain point, they all need to get together and the way that we're living right now is not sustainable. And you know, eventually I think they'll all come together and and have channels and call cable.

Um but yeah, the bifurcation of our of media is actually crazy. The way we live going from app to app and getting like logged out in the different households like one day our

ancestors will look back and be like, I can't believe they had to do that. and Nins will really feel sorry for us the way that we lived like cavemen.

It's so true. It's the way we feel about the cavemen. It's insane what we do. It's insane.

Like I can't watch the next season of JFK because the next episode. Why? Because I'm locked out because of my household.

It also hasn't come out yet. Or it came out like I'm still waiting. Like I'm one behind.

Oh, I just like I still have to watch that. Oh, you still have one more episode. I was cracking up now. You're gonna have to

Maybe I'll watch it next year. Okay. No, I I guess I'll put Down Roots at Hulu. Mhm.

But I just hate to like give them exactly what they asked for. Yeah. I hate when they're like tactics like bad behavior is rewarded.

Totally. Anyways, that's the latest biz news. Congrats to all of the people involved.

I'm excited for us because we do then get to continue reporting on like the saga of HBO HBO HBO Go. HBO Now, HBO Max Max HBO Max

Paramount question mark. Like I'm excited. Yeah. Yeah. It's great stuff. Great stuff. Are you ready for our next story? Some odd news. Pink is making news as she denies her breakup from her husband in a new video. So, Pink hopped on to say um she made a video on Instagram saying, "I was just alerted to the fact that I'm separated from my husband."

Well, there was like a US Weekly reported that she was getting separated. Then, like an hour later, she releases it.

She said, "I didn't know." She said her children were also unaware about the split. She said, "Would you also like to tell our children before saying that there's real news to be discussed?"

I love when celebrities bring up the real news. Like I like that she tackled this rumor head on. They're not getting separated.

Do you feel that? Yeah, she said this is fake news. Yeah, she did say. She did say

it was a weird response especially cuz she like doesn't really respond like she's not that type of celebrity. Um it's just like such a like a trope of like why do you report on real news? Like it's like well we do and we also want to report on this. Like it's okay. It's US Weekly like they're not going to report.

You want them to go in on the Epstein vials like please. And there are like it's it's the internet so there's unlimited capacity for articles. They could write about both things.

It's just like it's almost like a stereotype like woke woman celebrity being like why don't you report on the real news? It's like well we can hold space for both.

Yeah. And it's us weekly. So well she's not getting separated. I think that's cause for celebrity.

That is good news. And she also said do you want to maybe talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock and Roll [ __ ] Hall of Fame. Do you want to talk about my accomplishments or

we did we spoke about demise and I just want to say like we did we did and we want to

and I didn't realize it was the first time you were eligible like slay mama slay no one's more deserving

and again like they could talk about that and like this rumor but also like don't like to us weekly this isn't true so why did you say it where did you get that from like this happens a lot this happens actually not a lot but somewhat frequently where like a thing is widely reported as confirmed and it's just not and I feel like isn't that the whole point of journalism like

yeah So that's why I'm like, "Well, why'd you say it?" And I I just need to understand like, "Where'd you hear that?"

Mhm. Not to say that it's true, but like journalistic integrity. You need to now like take it back, issue a correction.

Yeah. I bet there's an update at the bottom of this article. It's like Pink is getting separated. This whole article about her and her man are getting separated. At the very bottom, it says update as of Thursday at 6 p.m. Pink says she's not separated. It's like, "Okay, well, thanks for the article."

Yeah. I I like want to see if they have mentioned it. It's like awkward. Yeah, it is. Like that's not cool.

No, it's not. Um, so yeah, Pink and Carrie are going strong. TG like, forget about them. They're a strong couple.

Yeah. You see Jim Carrey? No, he made an appearance at like an event in Europe. I mean, you know, Jim Carrey doesn't really make appearances. Mhm.

Um, and he has a new face, like a completely new face, and people are freaking out about it cuz they're like convinced it's like kind of a Lavine and Melissa, you know? They think it's not him.

It's not him. It It actually like almost looks nothing like him. It's insane. If it weren't for his like

like really remarkable smile at every other part of him, he has long hair if you're looking for it. He's like on a red carpet. Do you see?

I think so. So, I just gave my data to friends 24 in order to see this photo and you can't even see it.

I see one photo like I do, but it is Jim Carrey to me. No, it's like not Hello magazine is

that's not it. That's not it. Okay. That's him on the stage. Let me see. Like this is the night that you're talking about. The night of night.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um he looks and like a video like where you could see his face moving like did he get a facelift or was he abducted by aliens? Like people are freaking conspiracy theorists are running wild with this. Okay, everyone. Like, keep it in your pants. Like, just

like he just went to Steve. Breathe. But I don't even think he had a faceelift. He doesn't look like he has a a younger

He looks hella different. No, he doesn't look younger. That's true. Right. Like he just looks different.

It's just insane that like Jim He looks so different. Sorry. Like Jim Carrey did not get a facelift. He would never

But Jim Carrey did something. And that's I think this is about like cosmetics. What do you think? He's like sick.

Like it's something else. Okay. Well, now I'll just shut up. Yeah, like everyone loves to do that. I don't talk about people's faces changing. I don't

No, she doesn't talk about it on camera. No, I really don't like you. Unless like unless it's really changed, but like I don't know. I just like I don't care.

Okay. Like do whatever you want. You're being like so pink right now. You're so holier than now. Yeah, you are.

I'm not saying talk about like the famine. I'm just saying like the famine. I'm not saying it's because like there's other things. I'm just like because it's actually worse than that. your personal interest level.

It's that I don't [ __ ] care. Like, do what you It's your face. You have one. Do whatever you want with it. Like,

is it crazy when a man does it? I guess I actually wouldn't It's not crazy when a man says it. It's just you everyone feels like they can say something when a man does it. They finally can like let it out of their pants cuz they can't when a woman does it.

It's true. It's true. They get all excited. We could talk about it. Look at me. I'm excited.

You're titilated. Yeah. So, so I guess you didn't choose that as a story. Cool.

No, I No, new faces are like rarely unless it's like a for the positive, you know like like Steve Lavine going on like a world tour

because like he's done fantastic things. He has done fantastic things. Are you ready for our next story?

Funny story. Rihanna's teasing new music in the studio. Oh, girl, get out of here.

She posted a video of her in the studio. Like, you don't care about people's new faces. I don't care about stories like this. Like, because I refuse to get bamboozled. I refuse to look stupid.

Speaking of new music though, Brute Doo put out his new album today. Oh, did he? I have to check it out.

It's so good. Bruno Mars is incapable of releasing music that's bad. And he's just like in the studio like

letting it rip. Like the songs I don't even know if they follow like typical song structure of like chorus, verse. It's just like Bruno riffing.

I don't feel like he's actually in the studio. I feel like he's in the casino basement riffing.

Yeah. From his cell. Yeah. And that's why the music is so good cuz he's, you know, motivated.

Yeah. He's singing for his freedom depends on it, you know. Yeah. Um, it's really good the beats and that's kind of been the music I've been craving recently is like soulful I would say like soulful like Teddy Swims like oh I just discovered funeral by funeral me driving. Um, so yeah, Bruno did it again

but Rihanna but Rihanna just you know she's teasing that she's in the studio but like she's probably singing a song for a new admin picking up ASAP Rocky. She's probably doing one song for like an animated movie. She like

and we have this conversation annually. I hate to repeat myself, but like I'm not waiting for Riri nine. Is that what it is? The I'm just not

I don't think it's ever coming. And at this point, I don't think that it can because nothing that she puts out

well like because of the anticipation could reach the hype. It's true. She's almost in like a terrible position,

but an amazing one because she's a mother of three and she loves her life billionaire and she has like love and family.

Yeah. and the things that really matter. And she's like laughing at everyone who like

she probably like literally rented a studio so she could take a picture and just bother people.

Yeah. I'm not waiting. So I just want to say I'm okay. Yeah. And I will be okay.

Yeah. I will be okay as well. I'm I'm no longer waiting. And I you know you can listen to the the hits

four five seconds from that's literally one of the best songs ever. I actually feel like the most we would get from her right now is like a collab. like she loves to be a feature on a song

low lift and maybe if someone else came to her with like an amazing song like she would lend her voice but she's not going to put herself out there like that. Who would

in this climate if you don't have to like to do a whole album like everyone is so mean.

So true. They'll start talking about your face and like it's just never ending.

Yeah. You know like I feel like Lady Gaga always puts like every album is just like a piece of her soul on the table and then everyone's like this is bad. It must be so for someone like Lady Gaga like emotionally taxing cuz yeah she is her art her art is her like she is Gaga Gaga is Stephanie like it's so ingrained in who she is and I feel like there is always like a lot of hype and all of her albums are successes but not in like the you know culture shattering type of way and it must be like devastating to like constantly be going through that and just for people to be like I don't like it as much as dance dance just dance it's like Okay.

And I just feel like she's never emotionally recovered from art pop. Oh, that's funny. I don't feel like she's ever emotionally recovered from Joanne.

I feel like and Art Pop wasn't even bad. It was just like nothing could really follow up faith.

Oh, yeah. Oh, and I guess Born This Way followed up. But like Art Pop just didn't do what she wanted it to do. And and and I feel like that feeling has just like clouded sort of like Taylor and Rep.

Yeah. But Reputation was received very well, but it like didn't get nominated in the way that she wanted to be. So, how are we measuring success? Because like Taylor up until that point, Reputation like was her most sold album, so it didn't have the Grammy recognition, but I think culturally it like it freed her from the prison she like her and Kanye put themselves in. Like

I think I think Joanne was that for Lady Gaga because up until that point she was always like, you know, extravagant meet and it's like you don't know the real me and then she was like here's the real me. Who's talking about my aunt, you know, and nobody cared. Like when I tell you nobody moved. I feel like she was hardened by art pop, which was meant to be like the next major pop album and it wasn't. And then when she put out Joanne, she was in a place of like, I'm making music that I love. I don't care what people think. She wasn't waiting for like

everyone to, you know, appreciate Joanne for what it was, but people are discussing so of course they didn't.

Nobody appreciated Joanne for what it was. It was amazing. Amazing. I need to add that to like my rotation of albums.

I love this show be well because it's amazing. Yeah. But also because every day I'm inspired to listen to something on my way home. Like last week it was or earlier this week it was Hannah Montana and and my favorite song that I forgot to share in addition to like my other favorite songs is bigger than us.

Sing it. We all want to believe in love. We all believe in something bigger than just

so good. What a message. chilling like chills chills chills. Are you ready for our next story? Our fourth story.

And then fifth story is Traitors and Fifth Stories. Yes, I'm ready. Our fourth story is that Lana Del Ry's ex- fiance is revealed as a contestant in Taylor Frankie Paul's upcoming season of The Bachelorette. So, I was wrong when I said there are no familiar faces here.

You weren't wrong cuz he's still not familiar. But, but Lana Del Ray's ex is going on Taylor Frankie Paul's season of the Bachelorette.

Which one is he? Clayton. You have a picture? Yeah, this was his picture. I don't think he like was a standout.

But I just remember the name Clayton when you said it. I remember that red shirt

because what Clayton is just like such a bachelor. I don't think anybody um it's kind of like your birthright if you're born with the name Clayton. You have to go on the Bachelor.

Yeah. And he was previously engaged to Lana. I I much like Cynthia Rivo. I didn't know any of this was happening. Like I don't follow Lana Del Rey.

Yeah. And I'm barely keeping up with the Bachelor so I didn't know. He's a musician. He was in a band called the Johnson's.

I just feel like this whole like this is such a red flag. Like if I'm Taylor Frankie Paul and I find this out like I'm literally

Oh, you don't think it gives him clout? No, I think he's like obsessed with dating successful women.

Oh, I feel like not in a good way. Like No, I feel like it gives him clout. Like that's not just like, oh, he's, you know, the third like Lana Del Rey.

Well, if he had actual clout, he wouldn't be going on the Bachelor. Do you know what I mean?

Lana Del Rey. Like that's major. Correct. So you don't need and like if she liked him like that's a that's you know a feather in his cap.

Oh I'm seeing this from a totally different angle. I'm like this is weird. And if I find this out I'm literally sending him home that night.

No, I'm sorry. Chasing fame. No, but it's like you're the way you're describing how I understand how you're describing it. It's like Max Erlick Dem.

Of course. Mac Erlick. Yeah, of course. Like if he went on the Bachard, I I would feel exactly how you feel

that. Thank you for making the most perfect comparison. This is Max Erlick going on the Bachelor,

but I don't see it that way. Um, I don't see it that way. I don't know why. The arc of Demetria Lovado's career and personal life is one of the craziest in modern times. I forgot about the engaged on the beach maxic era.

Yeah. I wonder how she thinks about that because she's like very happily married now and like super stable. I feel like she's like

so grateful that she like her eyes were open before it was too late. Yeah. Right. Know anything about the situation, but like the vibes were that like he was like a I mean

maybe his sister's like a toaster or something. Oh, please. I don't know why I had such a negative perception of him as like a userous grifter. I don't know why, but that's what LA that's the lasting feeling I was left with. Those were good times.

I agree. Like for us, I don't think for Demi. Yeah. No, no. But it all is part of her story and led her to where she is now, which is a happy married woman.

Lovado later shared in her documentary, Dancing with the Devil, that the split was the best thing for her.

Okay. Leading to a journey of self-exloration and realization. Everyone says that.

Oh, I'm sorry. And this was like uh cuz I don't know if she still feels this way. leading her to a journey of self-exloration and realizing that she felt too queer to marry a man. But she did marry a man now and she's like very happily married. So I feel like Demi Lovato was the queen of like making documentaries before she like finished

her thought her growing up like she has four documentaries where it's like I'm a and then addicted to being like I didn't know who I was in that documentary. I'm actually being

and she'll be like I was in all aspects of her life like sexuality, love but personality and family addiction. Yeah. She right. She

did a documentary talking about how her recovery and then her next documentary she was telling us what she was doing in the previous documentary and how she wasn't recovered

and you should have watched that documentary cuz she was like you know not that one is null and void.

Yeah. She that's where you know our celebrity documentary conversation and I have like so much grace for someone on their journey but like don't feel pressured to put out a documentary like summing up the experience when like the experience is ongoing.

Yeah. Yeah. You know agreed. But you know that watching celebrity documentaries like I need Netflix to come out with a

category category how you have like you know binge watched Emmy award-winning celebrity documentaries and put them in order of greatness. There's actually a lot of good things coming to Netflix.

There are. Yes. You know the SAG awards have been rebranded to the actor awards and streaming exclusively on Netflix.

That's so exciting. Very uh like dramatic. So I love a rebrand you guys know and the SAG awards have evolved and transformed um into the actor awards which definitely feels like it's like a glow up. it's much more um highbrow and then they did that like very for the last couple of years that very funny segment at the beginning of the awards where they were like I am an actor so it's been this like very thoughtful rebrand which I appreciate um and this year they're on Netflix the actor awards are presented by who Jackie Zag Astra

SAG Astra this is everything we love they're live on Netflix this Sunday and they have a red carpet for the first time ever so the theme is totally reimagining like old Hollywood glamour from in the 20s and 30s. So, I feel like everyone's really going to be showing up. We love when people just like get dressed nicely, right?

No. And when the theme is understandable, so true. Executionable. This is like such an easy theme. And I feel like we're going to be seeing like a lot of soft waves, a lot of side parts, very vintage. Um,

it's like the Met Gala West Coast Met Gala. Um, there's a red carpet hosted by Scott Evans and Paige Dorbo. It's going to be a really fun way to kick off the whole live event. And then lots to unpack in terms of the actual show host. So hard to choose a host, right? Because you want somebody who's very affable, who people in the audience, you know, like like they have personal good relationships with the fellow actors. And we have Kristen Bell. I feel like everybody loves Kristen Bell,

inspired choice. She is that iconic Gossip Girl voice. So I just think everyone's always excited to hear her talk. She does like really good voice stuff. Um, and I think people in Hollywood, like on a personal level, actually really like her and her husband, and I think they like get along well and have good relationships with each other

and audiences love her. It's true. She has a high Q score. She has a very high Q score. Um, so this award show is known for its iconic moments like cast reunions, surprise group appearances, like they did the iconic um, Devil Rest Potter reunion. Very emotional speeches. I feel like people in the industry really respect getting an actor award. It's like from your peers. And of all the award shows, I feel like I also like that they're calling it the actor awards cuz like the statue itself is called the actor. So like other award shows are named after the actual statue.

And I feel like the SAGs like didn't really stand a chance. No. But the actor awards presented by SAG Astra really sums up what we're here to do. Uh, completely agree and I think that people in the industry like take it so seriously and I think it means a lot to them like more so than other awards. So I feel like they've kind of been like a misunderstood award show. Do you know what I mean?

I can relate. Yeah. Right. Um, this year they are doing a um Lifetime Achievement to somebody who starred in one of our like one of the most impactful movies of our life.

It's Harrison Ford. And I know you're gonna say you guys love Indiana Jones. No, actually Harrison Ford inspired this show right here because he starred in like a very small but important film called Morning Glory and

yeah, he should get a lifetime achievement award for that alone. I named my son after him.

So true. That's really cute. I love your Harrison board. Netflix has a bingo card and a ballot if you go to tadum.com which is great because then it makes like the viewing experience very um interactive and fun. And I feel like I at this stage of my life, like I'm always looking for events we can all watch together.

To be a part of. And the fact that this is on Netflix, so fun, so easy. I love the I feel like I'm going to make popcorn, you know? That's like so Hollywood.

What are you going to put in your popcorn? You know, I love a party mix popcorn.

I know. When I make popcorn at home, I really keep it simple. Like salt. Like I actually just like the microwave one. If I'm going to the theater, like, you know, I'm throwing M&M's in there. I'm going heavy on the salt. It's different.

When I make it at home, that's when I get crazy cuz I can use like my healthier swaps. So I feel

Oh god. Yeah. like my Unreals and my Oh, those are actually good and these cheddar bunnies.

Actors are voting on actors. There's fashion with intention and we have Kristen Bell hosting. So, this is not a drill. It's really the most fun award show of the season and it's something new. I feel like we're always begging like the streamers and Hollywood to like give us new and this is new and we need to support it. Okay, so it's streaming live only on Netflix. I also love when we were talking about the streaming awards like Netflix is kind of crushing live. They do a lot of like sports and comedy and now award shows which I love.

So, the Actor Awards are presented by Seafra and they're hosted by Kristen Bell live only on Netflix this Sunday, March 1st at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. So, get seated if maybe you should get dressed up like we're always looking for an excuse to get dressed up like an old Hollywood glam. I'll do a side part, you know. I did actually a side part old very old Hollywood glam at your wedding.

You did. Maybe I should recreate that hair. You should have gone to the actor awards

and I wore like a emerald green off-the-shoulder gown. I'm literally like Breijit Bau.

I'm excited to see how the stars interpret the theme. Me, too. And there's a lot of pressure because this is an easy theme. Like sometimes when the theme is confusing, I'll give grace. I will not be giving grace.

No, no, no. We're going to be seated. We're going to be judging outfits and we are filling out our ballot like it's our civic duty. So do not miss the most fun award show of the season. The Actor Awards presented by Saga, hosted by Kristen Bell, live only on Netflix. It's this Sunday, March 1st at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, 5:00 p.m. Pacific. Just as for everybody who gets to watch award shows on Pacific time.

Oh yeah. Like they're done at 9:00 and you can like watch something else or like have dinner. That's when the only time I ever wish I lived on the West Coast.

And those after awards are presented to you by SAGra, correct? In case you didn't

And in case you were wondering, it's Sagastra cuz that was a that was a paid partnership.

Sagastra, love you. Fifth and final traders recap. Fifth and final tracap. Oh my goodness gracious. Okay, so spoilers here on Forward. Rob won the Traders in an insane way. The whole game came down to Mora from the first round table of last night's episode. If she had voted with Tara and Johnny, even to get out Eric, then Tara and Johnny could have gotten out Rob. I am feeling so conflicted because like I was so getting so mad at Mora. Like all she had to do was make one decent decision for the last like three episodes. There were so many pivotal moments where a decision of hers could have changed the whole game. And time after time, she just kept disappointing me till the very [ __ ] end. And you know what? Shout out to Tara and Johnny for the first time in the final episode actually having a good idea and just trying to get her to go for Eric and she couldn't even do that.

No. And it's like she knew Eric was a traitor. There was no doubt in her mind that Eric was a traitor. But she didn't think Rob was one. She didn't think Tara was one. And Tara wasn't she was unsure about Johnny. Not confirmed. But anyone would have known that Eric was a traitor. He was the only one who was like, you know, behaving oddly and he wouldn't have made it that far if he was a faithful because he just would have been like a random kill. Mhm. So, at the first round table, banish the person that you know is a traitor. That seems like an easy one. And then let's deal with something else. I can understand why at the end she couldn't pivot from trusting Rob. It's like when you're playing Maong and you're going with the hand the whole time and it's like at the end you realize you might not win that hand, but it's too late to switch. You have to rethink everything that you know.

Of course, but there was like three votes before that where she could have just made a better decision. And I wanted to shake her and I was like so excited for Rob to tell her that he was a traitor cuz I'm like, "Yeah, you deserve it." And when I tell you I felt the total opposite. It was kind of devastating to watch. Like

it was heartbreaking. They also cut the music. Like they you could hear a pin drop. She like I actually felt

you saw like the light go out of her eyes and I felt like in that moment I felt like this show was like a mean prank. Like it was it was just devastating. Like and I also like and she even at the reunion she just kept saying I'm so dumb. I'm so dumb. I'm so dumb. Like and you can't even fault Rob, right? cuz nobody did anything wrong, right? You get selected as a traitor and

it just makes you feel like what's the point of the show? Yes, that's exactly how I felt

like someone to be the best liar. I guess when the faithfuls win, it feels really good. But like when a traitor turns on the person that they were closest with, it's like, "Oh, cool. You just like gave someone trust issues for the rest of their life. Congrats."

Yeah. And I guess it would have it was meaner for Rob to have also banished Eric because then Mora really thought that they won. Remember they were hugging in the kitchen. It's going to be us. It's going to be us. So it was us. So like she thought for sure. I don't like I guess it was just for the money to banish Eric.

Yeah. And I was it was kind of savage but I'm glad he turned on Eric cuz he turned on all his other traders and like he said would you give $100,000 to someone you met three weeks ago? I would. I'm like

he's 100 and I agree. I think it was actually one of the better things he could have done like for his image because this whole time we've been like him being so loyal to this rando after kicking both Lisa and Candace to the curb. It's giving misogyny. But you know what?

It's not. It's giving we're getting down to the wire and I need these votes. Yes. Turned on Eric like that that vote it became only up to more. Like you need every single person was so critical. He's not going to turn on someone whose vote he needs. That would be bad gameplay. People need to like kind of take their emotions out of it. And like I don't think there was misogyny. No, that's why like I don't really fault Rob for any decision he made the entire season because it was always with strategy in mind. So you're mad he was a good player. Well, that's you're but he did nothing wrong. And that's where yes, the show felt almost pointless. Like he did what he was supposed to do and like what the worst thing she did was like trust someone. I mean I do feel like her time on the show was like so bad for women. Like it was just how easy like a He's cute. He's not Brad Pitt. Like he's very good.

He's a cute guy. He's very good-looking. He's not like insanely tall or insanely rich. Like he's just a guy.

No, I think he's he's he's just a guy. Like it's insane how far that got him cuz that was a huge part of it. And I do feel like she and she was so close, right? She kept saying, "Why am I still here?" And they kept referencing that she like chooses the wrong man and she gets cheated on all the time. It's like, put those two things together. You're trusting a man and you're still here.

It was right in front of her. And I kind of like was living for Tara and Johnny this last episode. It's like, where was that energy the entire season? I do feel like they played horrifically. And I really appreciate Candace. I know she was saying it at the reunion to like knife Rob because everybody was like, "Rob, you're so great. Rob, you're so great." Candace is like, "Well, also you have like some of the worst faithfuls ever.

You need to go to faithful school." And I appreciated that because yes, he did play really well, but like it's easy to play well with like a bunch of idiots like and that's what Candace was saying,

but also it's good. He played well enough to keep the idiots around till the end and

dismiss the smart people. That challenge um yeah, that's what was so crazy about Mora. She was the last person standing in the entire show and like that challenge I feel like was really emblematic of her time there. She got to go on the helicopter and then because she's like a pretty girl like she didn't have to jump out. Uh-huh.

And like what did she do? Yeah. And the other ones are like shivering. Oh man, I felt so bad.

Hypothermia. The challenges aren't supposed to get that real. Fear factor. Really stupid.

It's like a special forces. He's jumping out of a helicopter. That was wild. Why? For what?

For what? But that did really like I think help his case for being a faithful because he like worked so hard,

right? Yeah. Yeah. It was just the game was lost when at the first round table and if

Yeah. If Mora had just like gone with the person that she knows is a traitor, Eric, everything else could have like sorted itself out. But even then at the ta at the fire of truth or whatever that she banished Tara first when she knew that Tara was not a traitor.

Why didn't they banish Eric first? I don't know why weird. Like that's even weirder. Like you know that you know that Tara's not a traitor. You said that multiple times.

So why would you banish her? So, I feel so conflicted cuz like I just wanted to shake

like she felt so conflicted and in those moments of complete confliction I I don't know why the bed. No, she's just like I'm going to do what Rob tells me because that's a plan.

Yeah. So, like I I was so mad at her, right? And then all of that just like went away. I felt so bad for her at the reunion. She just like kept I think she's like so worried that I mean like you see what people on Twitter are saying like they're just calling her dumb and stupid. Like I like I feel so bad for her. Like the whole Birkin thing is funny and whatever. I just like I feel like she really regrets doing the show. Like

Oh, I don't think so. I think she has really big aspirations. Yeah, but did you see that tweet like about like me when I say I'm not dumb and then it's like a picture like everyone's being so mean to her.

No, I think for her she has big aspirations. All press is good press. She's broken into the American market in a huge way. She's on every single show doing press with her fashion. She wants to be a fashion girl and she wants to be an actress. I don't think she I mean, yes, it probably hurts to see some of those tweets, but like I think she's like tunnel vision. I'm gonna be going to the Oscars and you know she what she wants to be doing is like acting and probably like modeling and

and we like she served face. She served looks. She's the most beautiful woman ever. Like I think the exposure for her was worth the embarrassment.

It was so embarrassing. Like I just felt so it was it was not fun at the end. It was actually like devastating. I when you see her face like the light I've never seen emotion displayed honestly make her an actress

in books when they say like and the light drained from her face you're like what the [ __ ] does that mean? Watch more at the final round table.

Oh my god. I had chills throughout my body. I wanted to start crying. I know. I I felt like I couldn't breathe.

I felt so awkward. I was like no like I it was a very emot like I I didn't expect to like

it was heartbreaking. You also have to remember like we're just watching it as a TV show but like they have been in this you know

they've been like siloed and very isolated isolated you know they and maybe they get their phones at the hotel room but they go and everything is so intense trying to you're there's a liar amongst us and it's like everything that you thought that you knew and like you thought you were winning like the rug pulled out from under you like I I think her face just conveyed completely the shock of that feeling

just awful. Yeah. Now, the reunion I really felt like, again, I don't wish I watched it right after the finale because the finale was so high stakes, right? We were having these like intense feelings of, you know, sadness and betrayal. And then the reunion was just like so stupid. Everyone was like laughing and it I mean, it is just a game, but the show, the way it's edited, the whole like Scottish castle and the fire, it's so dramatic that like I don't know. I just felt like I wasted all my time because the reunion was like so jokey.

And I don't really feel like I got anything out of the reunion because you can't really be mad at someone. It's a game.

Yeah. But, you know, I think there were a lot of loose ends and like people saying things about other people and um and it's fun just to see everyone again and see like some of the people that we missed. Um and having them like back on our screens and you know all the drama between the traitors like and seeing Donna when they brought out the traitors I'm like why are there five people? There's three traitors. It's Eric. It's Rob. No, it's Rob, Candace, and Lisa. So then like Donna being there was funny. Um and of course like he had to ask her about Taylor and you know she wanted to die. She

I know her face fell. It did. and she was like looking to the left and the right like she gave her best sort of answer

and I don't think her face fell because like she wants like I think sometimes she doesn't want to say the wrong thing. I think because it was like can it just be about me for 3 seconds?

Oh, I felt the complete opposite. Not that we're not where it's like I I it's not that I don't want to talk about the thing. It's just like I don't want to say the wrong thing. Like why can't like I thought it was the opposite. Um,

but then Colton v Lena. So that I wanted to wait around to see that and then I did turn it off maybe like 5 or 10 minutes later. Um, I feel like Lisa took internet stuff and sort of ran with it, but it was the first time we've ever had to like hear Colton talk about that time with Cassie. So I really appreciate Lisa doing that. Um, he said like words and then he also similarly echoed those words. He was interviewed in Vanity Fair.

I was just reading that which is so crazy. And the the I didn't finish get through it, but the author

it was word [ __ ] salad. Like I don't even he said he's speaking so generally. It was a bad time in his life. Very similar to what he said on the reunion. Like no real substance.

The author was clearly very sympathetic towards him. Um even before, you know, his answers or everything like this was meant to sort of be a redemption. I don't know. When he was in the reunion last night,

did you see him sulking afterwards? Like after that conversation with Lisa, he was literally like a kid who had had a tantrum. Like he was sitting on the couch, shoulder slumped. He didn't really speak anymore and eyes like diverted. He was so mad.

Yeah. But I felt like he did as good of a job as he could have at defending himself like cuz he's just been like totally dragged through the mud like his name.

But he won't say it. Like even in the Vanity Fair article, he's like, and he said it last night, it must be confusing for people who like saw me on the Bachelor in 2019 and then now two, you know, six years later seeing me here. Well, why don't you talk about what happened in between? That's not why we're confused. We know you're gay. Nobody cares. Like, he's just being so vague.

Yeah, he is. And what also bothers me is like and he said in this article that peac agreement with Peacock that they wouldn't no one would bring up this stuff. And like this definely like obviously made audience members the entire time just like very like uncomfortable. It's like the elephant in the room and it's I just can't help but think about Sierra like how she was booted from Love Island.

Oh my god, I'm cracking up. You know what I mean? Like when like and they elected to put him on the show.

Yeah. So know like knowing all this stuff is in his eyes. They thought people really cared that much and it's like sort of in this random

but that's why it's just like so phony. Like it's like what Sierra did versus like what Colt where Sierra like said the wrong thing and like felt and apologized online immediately and it's also just like younger and a nobody and they just completely threw her under the bus for the sake of the audience but they'll like stand up and and knowingly go in with Colton and be like we're not going to talk about things even though we know you did the [ __ ] thing.

Yeah. No. Giving him that sort of assurance that it's not going to be brought up. Like who gets that sort of protection?

They put out that statement about bullying for him. That's weird. And I'm just like, what about Sierra?

So true. Like that bothers me. Just like be consistent. If we're not having people who have messed up,

who have scandals, who have scandals, who have things that the audience is going to sort of like hang on to. If you don't want any of that, then then be consistent with that. That's fine. But like protecting Colton and giving putting him on the show in the first place.

Mind you, what Colton did did, I'm sorry, is 10 times worse than what talking to him. I understand he was going through a hard time. And but are we giving grace or we not giving grace?

Yeah. And then putting out a statement. The way the internet back like came for Sierra,

Jackie, just think about it in the context of what this season of traitors. The way the internet, the cut magazine wrote an article of Michael Rapaort is ruining traitors. Michael is not a criminal. He's just [ __ ] annoying. Like, we're like, and now he or he is being profiled in Vanity Fair as some sort of victim. Like, it's absurd the sort of grace being given to him by Peacock by Vanity Fair. Like, who gets interviewed by Vanity Fair? Who is he? Ronin Pharaoh. It's insane.

Yeah. This is what the author wrote. Throughout our conversation, he addresses some of this in a contrite and careful manner, tripping over words and phrases in a genuine attempt not to make another misstep. Like, that's just so

Can this girl interview me? Like, it's a man. Oh, of course. Um, I would like to be interviewed.

Yeah. No. And I'm I'm all forgiving grace, honestly. But then, let's give Grace to everyone. Like,

I think Randolph should be interviewed in They asked her for a comment and she No, not in relation to this.

She doesn't want to be invited. Of course. But I mean, like, leave Cassie alone when it comes to Colton.

Yeah. And it's like, wait, now she can't watch a season of Traiers. How annoying for her.

I don't think she wants to watch Traiers. I think why? She's just like a girly who can watch TV.

She'll catch the next one. Yeah. No, not this season. Um, so yeah, it's a very bizarre casting.

And it's crazy that he had a show coming out after all of this happened. That's a bigger to me, you know, that's his own show. This is just being a cast on a show where you're meant to be a villain.

No coming out Colton. It was widely criticized at the time, but it's always been just like inner and it's really just like girls standing up for Cassie. Like nobody's taken it seriously until now. And I'm sorry, this is the only type of behavior that a man could do. Like seriously, you like we're always canceling people for like tweets and [ __ ] This is somebody who actually like had a restraining order put against him like who was in like a physical harmful person to to a woman and nobody cares. Nobody cares.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, the people care. Right. Right. Right. But anyways, I thought like Lisa Rena, yeah, she was obviously speaking for the internet, but I thought

What did you mean when you said people were doing cocaine in your bathroom? I think he really handled her cuz she was obviously like just trying to poke like and so it's like I'm I'm obviously a serious question.

No. And she was just like wanting to like have a moment and then he was like you said you were going to slit my [ __ ] throat. Like who handed it to her in that statement with that like and and that's

what I also said. Everyone like keeps being so sensitive at the round tables and stuff. Like when Michael Raport said, "You have a secret."

Right. Right. It's so stupid. And it's like you all are talking about killing each other. You literally put Mark Ballas in a coffin and burned it.

But like, "Oh, we're keeping it secret." Yeah. It's so true. It's really really silly.

Um that So the show is just silly and it's like too serious when it's being serious and like unserious when it's being unserious and it's like, "Well, how are we supposed to feel about this stupid [ __ ] show?" And then when I when I saw them all get back together yesterday, I think I realized it actually wasn't a good cast.

Yeah, but what are we looking for? I don't know cuz not everyone can be big personality. They need a range.

I think it will be good when it's unknowns because the way that they get people out early who are gamers like Rob C or whatever the guy who called the conga line like I wanted to see like I he would have been amazing on the show but we obviously can't get smart people when they don't know each other. It will be better. people won't be targeted and people can pretend to be stupid. I think that will be really interesting.

Let's dive into Queenie and Weenie. Our final segment of the week, but I'm really excited about um so Queenie and Weenie we do every Friday. It's our final segment before we send you off for the weekend. We like to take a look back at a glance at the weekend and give out two awards. Queenie of the week and weenie of the week. It can go to a person, a place or a thing. You know, for example, today mine will be a concept. Um just things that brought us joy this week, things that were queeny like and of course things that were weenie like. It's not our fault. We're just like living in a world of weenies.

Let's start with queenie. So, my queenie of the week is a concept that I've been hearing a lot about on TikTok and I took the time this week to actually learn about it and I realized it's sort of a phrase, a concept that we've needed. Like you and I talk about this all the time. It's called the Kia Asylum. Have you heard of it?

Okay. So, the Kia Asylum is where like pop stars get locked up. And I feel like we're always talking about um you know, people who have had success and like sort of like fell off or people who um like just can't get the engine started. It's a lot of girls pop divas, but there also there's a men's ward. Why is it called Kia Asylum?

I don't know. K H I A. I don't know why it's called the Kia Asylum. It's like a Twitter meme that has like taken it so far. And I just want to say it is the perfect

There's a men's ward. Okay. Can I guess people who are in it and people who have escaped?

Okay. Tori Kelly's in it. That's a great example of somebody who's had success like mainstream but then never really got it back. But with not for lack of trying.

I think Madison Beer is in it. Madison Beer is in it. I think Charlie XX has escaped.

Who else is an escapee? Charlie There are two big escapes. And is Charlie XX one of them?

Yes. And there's a third who's actively escaping right now. Okay. Okay. Charlie XX. You're not going to think of it because she's so big. You don't even remember a time when she was in the Kia Asylum.

No, I feel like I will know. Let me go in my Spotify. She's so big. Hold on. Let me go to top. I feel like you should just

Let me tell you who it is because you're never going to answer it. Hold on. Yes. I'm looking. I'm looking. Okay. You could tell me.

Sabrina Carpenter. Like she could not get arrested for seven years. Like she's a she's one of the larger escapes and her and Charlie like sort of give people hope that there is a bus out, right?

Yeah. But the thing is like Charlie went up down up. Sabrina just had a very slow up. I feel

Yeah, of course. But the path to the Kia asylum like everyone has their own. I think like the core one of like the founding members of the Kia asylum who's desperately trying to break out is BB Rexa. And she keeps making content now about how she's like actively trying to get out of the Kia asylum.

You know who's in the Kia asylum and like uh Betty who? She's too niche. She had some drama.

Yeah, but she's not mainstream and like she never was mainstream like No. No. She had like that song. She was set to be the next big thing and then she was put in the asylum.

No. Who you're thinking of that had the next big thing and is a permanent resident of the key asylum is Ava Max.

That's fine. Yeah. Ava Max, Normani, Dove, Cameron. They they think there's hope for Dove, but she's actively like cellmates with BB Rexa.

Dove there is I think Dove is so talented and I'll always The key asylum is not about lack of talent.

No. No. But I just feel like she doesn't want to do the mainstream things that it takes to be mainstream successful. She like stays in the art underground world,

right? Somebody who's having a moment and I think who like the conversation about the key asylum like really became mainstream and she talks about how she's like literally she's not fully out yet but like she's chipping away. She's pretty much out is Zara Larson. So, she's having a really big comeback moment. It's mostly constricted to Tik Tok. That's the thing. It hasn't gone super mainstream yet.

Yes, that's a great example. That's XX. Then the men's ward, which like people talk about it mostly in the context of pop divas.

Okay. But no, there's definitely a men's ward. Uh you know that guy Khalid. Oh, that's a great one. Khaled. Conan Gay is like very much in the Kia Island.

I think he's like my vibe, right? No, I don't think so. I don't I actually That's the thing. I don't know a singular Conan Grey song, but he was like friends with Taylor Swift briefly. He's famousish. It's crazy. Like, but I've never heard a song of his.

Oh, no. He's not in my like songs. Okay. Shawn Mendes like is in the Kia right now. Yeah. Kind of. Jack Harlo.

Jack Harlo. Like somebody who was everywhere. And you know what reminded me that something I wanted to talk to you about this is because you know who's a men's in prisoner of the Kia asylum who we were just having this conversation with. It's crazy how you could be everywhere all at once and then nowhere is Lil NasX.

Mhm. So, I thought the concept of the key asylum like needed to be brought to the show because I feel like we're always sort of referencing this thing and like that's what it is.

Yeah. When like it it feels like you're an industry plant who's no longer chosen. They've given up on you because they couldn't plant your root strong enough,

right? Or you're someone that actually was talented that the industry squashed because you're not a plant.

Madison Beer. No, I don't know what it is for Madison Beer. No, but like some people

like maybe even like a Betty who whatever like if she won't work with the record like then they won't help her.

Oh, someone who's in there who I thought was like a good example cuz clearly she's successful now but there is something holding her back and we talk about this a lot. Tate McCrae.

Okay. What do you think's holding her back? She's so tick tocky and that's like 80% of it, right? Like if you're crushing it on Tik Tok, you will be everywhere. And something about her like has not penetrated past the internet. Now the internet is very powerful. She's a successful person. Like she has a lot of streams, but when it comes to like actual cultural impact, like she when we talk about the pop girlies, like she ain't there.

And I've told you why. Why? The music is not good enough. It's not. She needs to be making supermarket music. And it's not. It's like if you want to be a major pop diva, your music has to be for everyone whether we know you or not. And like you're just playing everywhere. And then I saw a funny clip on Tik Tok about how Katy Perry like is in the KIA asylum and she thought dating a prime minister would get her out, but she just brought him in.

She thought she would be pardoned. Yeah. But it's like no, now he's there too. That's funny. She's like too big actually cuz she

So she might eclipse it only because like she has this insane catalog. She's just like on house arrest now. But like

she will always have been like a major it's it can be over for her is the thing. like if she wanted it.

It's never really over. No. And yeah, that's She has a different issue. Yes. Agreed. Agree.

But she's not being like suppressed by the industry. She just has like a a a popularity issue.

Yeah. That she did to herself. Correct. Nobody did that except her. Her hair stylist did it to her.

Oh, that started it all. No, she I guess for you, but I think she just like bon you.

Yeah, she turned people off. Um, okay. Weenie of the week. Like I said, it's someone in this room. Who wants to guess who it is?

I mean, it has to be me. What are you going to like? Oh, it's You're wrong. It's you.

It's me. What' you do? I can't believe when I told that Valentine's Day story, I like decided to protect my husband. And look what that served me. Like, I got embarrassed on the internet. Will not be happening again. Ben forgot to get me flowers. And don't you [ __ ] forget it.

Oh wow. Like I'm embarrassed that I tried to like protect him and he came over and told the truth.

I thought it was nice. I thought it was I think that was like a very human moment.

A very weeny moment. Okay. Big W on my forehead. Okay, so we're back to trashing Ben.

Yeah. Oh, did we? Yeah. Yeah. Because Ben in support of my sister. Love that. Cuz I actually didn't think anyone was like so weeny enough that like I don't want to just give it to people like when it's deserved because that just feels like meanspirited.

I agree. Um but it's Ben. When in doubt, we need like a button then. That's our show you guys.
