1. Service Description

Reclip is an AI-powered platform that transforms YouTube video content into structured digital products including courses, lead magnets, landing pages, and email sequences. The service uses Anthropic's Claude API for content generation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Reclip. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating your account
• Each person may maintain only one account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Process content that you do not have the right to use (see Section 6)
• Use the service to generate illegal, harmful, or misleading content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
• Resell access to the service without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-process content beyond normal usage

5. Content Ownership

Your content: You retain all rights to the content generated through Reclip. The courses, lead magnets, landing pages, and email sequences you create are yours to use, modify, and distribute as you see fit.

Platform rights: Reclip retains rights to the platform, its design, underlying technology, and branding. You may not claim ownership of the Reclip service itself.

6. YouTube Content & Copyright

When you process a YouTube video through Reclip:

• You must have the right to use the source video content (e.g., you are the creator, you have permission, or your use qualifies as fair use)
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with copyright law and YouTube's Terms of Service
• Reclip does not claim any rights over the source video content
• We process publicly available metadata and transcripts via YouTube's public APIs

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content generated by Reclip is AI-assisted and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or biases. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before publishing or distributing it. Reclip does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated content.

8. Subscription & Billing

• Plans: Reclip offers a single plan at $19/month (or $190/year) with a 7-day free trial
• Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. After this period, payments are non-refundable
• Price changes: We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reclip and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally before pursuing arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
