Um anyone who is coming into the stream, anyone who's new or watching this in the future, this is me talking to them from the past. Uh doing a little stream today. We're in the new region which is called Azur Grove. Uh, and of course, as of latest news with Lost Skies, there has been a new hot fix. Uh, the devs recently kind of posted this uh just earlier today actually. Uh, let's check out just real quick. I want to give a little overview to um people who are new here. But yeah, big post, latest hot fix. It was 11:35 a.m. It just came out.

1:03 So, uh, they did a bunch of gameplay balances, changed aggro for certain bosses, some technicality, fixed stability issues, uh, a lot of critical bugs that they went through, and in my opinion, the the most important of which that they've apparently changed is the, uh, the ship fixes. So, um, I had issues personally, at least last time I was streaming, um, after the 1.0 no launch where ships were disappearing on uh certain loads and there was desync with loading ships which they kind of discussed here. I made a little post about it earlier today. Um but I'm hoping they fixed a lot of those problems cuz um those were kind of like the primary things that were um at least I was struggling with dealing. Uh so yeah, so new changes. Uh this same world is a continuation from my first stream.

1:51 Um just to give you a better idea where we are. This is the second region and this is my previous ship which I like to call skipper here. Uh in terms of kind of updates from last time, uh we built this thing, managed to get across the uh the first wind wall and get into a a new section region. Uh and I also built a map table as well, which is pretty nice. Um so let's quickly go here. So, it's hard to tell cuz the uh map itself isn't fully updated, but uh in terms of where we are positionally here, I'm going to kind of pull up the community map here.

2:30 So, in the uh first live stream we did start in the first region here, we went to the right side, this uh kind of yelled off wall region. And then once I had explored all the islands, I guess kind of offstream, uh I had attempted to go through the next stage uh wind wall type, which was the uh the emerald wall. And so instead of actually going through that cuz I failed miserably and almost lost my ship. That's a different story for later. I went down back into the first region and into this new region to uh continue exploring. And so I've now come across this new island here. Uh which is very pretty, mind you. Um but yeah, we're in this new island area. So I'm really looking to uh start exploring. I did um find a few of these data pads. I did a little brush over the top cuz I was trying to get some uh some alloys and stuff, but there's a lot of these switches kind of going around the island.

3:25 So, I'm going to go check out this facility. I do believe I've seen this actually on the island crater. Yeah. So, we got three so far. Uh, and we need to go look for uh and locate two more to open up this uh facility underground here. It's kind of nice though, too, cuz uh in this in this region, we can actually see the uh what's I forget what that wall is called. Well, that's the uh final wind wall or storm wall, mind you, to get into the uh the Midlands region. So, mapwise, that would be that would be this red wall here. That's what we're looking at. Um so, yeah, let's just uh let's just start looking around, trying to locate this thing as quick as we can here. I'm not really sure um exactly where these should be. So, might take a little bit, but we just need to find two more, so it shouldn't be that bad. Oh, there's one right there.

All right, so let's um yeah, let's just start exploring this thing. I really hope I can find some Saboran alloy. That would be great for getting the wing glider.

And we get a little data bank, too, which is nice.

I've locked down the facility and my findings to Saboran null again. This is my final act. One last null to delay the inevitable. Okay. Um why can mankind not accept its place on the earth?

Um, but I kind of want to just keep up with the the mission quest line and just keep things kind of going in chronological order at least. This wraps all the way around. It's like how much money do they realistically have left? Uh if they're pushing early access, it could be a money thing. It could also be a um a classic. The publishers forced us to do it early

Like I think a lot of people have been enjoying the game, I myself included, but then a lot of people also experiencing the bugs. And so I think at least for this first month, you know, I would say wait and see for, you know, 30 30-ish days cuz they said for the first month they're going to be focusing on um primarily bug fixing. Um, and I think, you know, once they can get the the core gameplay loop more locked down and make sure that they're, you know, people aren't encountering all the uh crazy bugs that are losing progress, they'll be in a lot better position. Um, it's honestly like they have a great game concept. I would argue probably one of the best healing grappling mechanics in the game. God, I suck at aiming. Oh my god.

Um, and realistically, like, you know, if it was my perfect world, I would want them to have more time to work on this cuz there's so much stuff in the game. There's so many things they could totally add to just enhance this beyond belief where it actually is. Um, and even then there's still all the new bosses, the harbinger, which I I want to see. Um, I would say certain like colorations of texturing on the ships. Uh, not as much of a fan of it, though. They have like a lot more selection of it than they did in Worlds Drift, so I can appreciate that. Um, and honestly, I do like the building system

Uh, I know some people preferred the kind of you had to just dangle from the ship bubble whenever you wanted to uh build a panel on your ship and just kind of honestly like that was nice. And I and you can still do that obviously, but having like the the platform to stand on when you're placing stuff down, it just it's so much nicer because like I don't have to spend 20 years trying to realign myself to to place a single panel down uh in the way that I want it. And then of course you can you know change the paneling orientation really easily. Um which is both restricting and beneficial in different ways for building aesthetic. But overall I think they've improved the system better for the ship building.

There's over 460 just made for Lost Skies alone. And so I think if they can eventually implement that function where you can change out islands or at least do maybe you know packs of cycled ones that you know interchange their order uh dependent on how they're structured.

Um, so it's hard to say, but I would definitely find myself playing more and more uh just because I really kind of enjoy the exploration of it. But it probably be me with more of my, you know, buddies and friends than just myself.
