Before calling 911 about Amber Sprdlin's death, the homeowner of the house where she died in called his friend, the Preston Chief of Police, Randy Woods. That call lasted nearly 8 minutes. Why? After that 8 minutes, then and only then did Dr. Michael McKinny call 911 to say that a woman was dead in his home and it looked like her throat had been slit. But here's the thing. According to a witness in the home, he didn't check her body. And first responders say that it wasn't obvious that her throat had been cut until they moved her. So, how did he know?
