Hey everyone, welcome back. I hope you're all doing well. So, for today's case, we are heading to Australia for another heartbreaking case because today we are talking about a woman named Gemma Lily. And oh boy, was she a piece of work. But there is one thing that you should know about Gemma. And that is that she was absolutely obsessed with serial killers. And not in an educational way or just out of intrigue like all of us. Oh, no. She admired them. She loved them. She really did obsess over them. which led her to fantasize about murder 24/7. That is literally the only thing that was on her mind. She even wrote a book about it.
She even had a murder themed wedding. Yeah, a murder themed wedding. And then just to top everything off, she had a bucket list. And the number one thing on her bucket list was to murder somebody. And for years it was just fantasy. But then she met her perfect partner in crime, a woman named Trudy Lennon. and the two of them together started indulging into these fantasies and they actually started to build their very own torture room. One thing leads to another and they hunt down an innocent victim and everything could end in complete tragedy. So that is the case that we are talking about today. So let's jump in and I just want to give a huge thank you to today's sponsor and that is Wild. And if you have never heard of Wild before, they are a company that I absolutely adore. I first made the switch to Wild back in 2021 because at the time I was just fed up with my conventional deodorant. I was getting a lot of
irritation. I just always felt like my pores were blocked. But then I learned about Wild. They are a refillable plastic-free natural deodorant company. And I'm not going to lie, I was a little bit skeptical about changing to a natural deodorant. I was worried about performance. Like I didn't want to be smelly. Of course, no one wants to be smelly. I was worried about the transition period that I'd heard about as well. But I have been using Wild products now for almost 4 years and trust me when I say this, they really do work. I feel fresher using Wild. I have less irritation. I just feel cleaner overall using Wild deodorant. And I would truly never go back. wouldn't get opportunities like this. And now let's jump into today's case. Gemma Lily was born in 1991. An exact date of birth is not known and she grew up in Lincolnshire in the UK where she lived with her parents and younger sibling and not much is known about Gemma's younger childhood. She was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of six. But apart from that, everything seemed normal. However, that would all change when her mom had what has been described as a complete mental breakdown and she joined an extremely religious cult. Yep. Her mom joined a cult. Now, we don't know too much about this cult.
We don't know why Gemma's mom even joined the cult in the first place. All we know is that after Gemma's mom joined this cult, Gemma's mom became a monster. She became a living nightmare because she became completely brainwashed by this cult. And when she was a part of this cult, she was forced to give up all of her possessions, all of her money. And this cult also taught their followers that they should abuse their own children. So that's what Gemma's mom did. She would come home from her little cult meetings and she would abuse her children. So Gemma was abused. She was beaten. She was kicked, punched. She had things thrown at her. Gemma and her sibling were also locked in their bedrooms for hours. They were left to soil themselves. Sometimes they had to go without food. Like I cannot even tell you how much of a monster Gemma's mom became. Now you're probably thinking, okay, what about the dad? Because there
is two parents in this house. Well, the dad, Richard, was also a victim of abuse. The children weren't the only ones being abused in that house. And the dad, Richard, he tried everything in his power to make his wife change because it was just a sudden change. She joined this cult, we don't know why, and then she became this monster. But she wasn't always a monster. So Richard was just really trying to get the wife and the mom back that she once was. But in the end, there was just nothing that he could do. And after 2 years of Gemma's mom being this monster, of her abusing everyone in that house, Richard left his wife for good and took the two children with him. So Gemma and her sibling, they are now living with their dad alone. And after suffering at the hands of their mom for multiple years, Gemma was getting a little bit older now. And she started to develop some very disturbing obsessions. I don't know if initially
these darker obsessions for a child started because she was abused. Maybe that was her way of processing everything, just her way of coping, distraction. But from a young age, she did become obsessed with murder. She started watching a ton of films and documentaries on serial killers. She would dress up like the serial killer and pretend to be them. She also started collecting butcher knives as a hobby. But what is just truly truly disturbing for a child is that she started to fantasize about murdering and torturing somebody. And she's a young child, possibly like a young teenager at this point. and she is imagining in her mind creating a torture room where she could take all of the people that have harmed her in her life into this torture room and torture them and end up murdering them. Now, to me, that seems like a reaction to her experiencing abuse at the hands of her mom. She's very angry
at her mom. She's probably angry at the world and she's picturing almost fighting back against her mom and that is almost how she's processing the abuse and what she went through. and she dreamed about becoming an infamous killer/s serial killer herself like the people that she idolized and she is literally only around 12 years old at this point and this is what she is fantasizing about. Anyway, we skip forward a little bit and Gemma's dad, Richard, gets a new girlfriend called Nenah. So, Gemma now has a new stepmom.
So, the new stepmom, Nenah, as soon as she met Gemma, she instantly became very freaked out by Gemma. Nah has said that she just always felt on edge around her stepdaughter. She was very uncomfortable with her darker obsessions, and she was just very worried about the child that Gemma was turning into. But whenever Nenah would bring up her concerns to Richard, the dad, Richard would just brush her off. he would completely ignore her. He didn't want to hear about it. He buried his head in the sand, which is not the answer. Gemma is not being secretive about her obsessions.
She is talking about them. Her dad, Richard, knew that she was obsessed with serial killers. And like I said, her obsession, it went further. She wanted to be one. She fantasized about killing somebody. Burying your head in the sand is not the answer. If maybe Gemma had gotten the help that she so clearly needs as a child, maybe this case would never have happened. Who knows? So anyway, a few more years pass. Gemma is now in high school and she's a really good student. She's very intelligent. She got very good grades and by the time she is 15, Gemma actually discovers a new passion and that was creative writing. But what did Gemma write about?
Serial killers and just killers in general. That was literally the only thing that she was interested in. So now Gemma was writing incredibly dark and edgy fiction about serial killers. She made up a character who was a serial killer. And this serial killer would go around murdering people in extremely graphic ways. There was a lot of torture involved in her fiction. And the content of the book is incredibly dark. It would be incredibly dark for anyone to write, but especially as a 15year-old. One line read, quote, "I feel as though I cannot rest until the blood or the flesh of a screaming, pleading victim is gushing out and pulling on the floor." Gemma even gave her serial killer character and nickname. She called him SOS, named after the real life David Burkowitz, the son of Sam. And David Burkowitz was another killer that Gemma was absolutely obsessed with. She also made her fictional character SOS the leader of
this murder cult. And the followers would violently torture and murder people to please the cult leader. Now again, I can't help but think, does this all go back to her mom? Her mom was a part of a cult. And because her mom was a part of the cult, her mom abused her. Now she's fantasizing about murdering and torturing people. Now this fictional character is also part of a cult. It 100% all goes back to her mom. Gemma 100% has mommy issues. And I think we can all understand why. And this is what I mean when I say she needed help. Her dad should never have buried his head in the sand. She needs help. And her dad, Richard, was aware of her obsessions.
And he was aware of this book that she was writing. He would actually read the book as she was writing it. And Gemma ended up writing a 200page novel which was focused on this fictional character SOS who was this serial killer/cult leader of a murder cult. And she became so immersed into this fictional world. It almost was like she couldn't distinguish between fiction and reality because she basically did just live in a fantasy land. She got SOS tattooed on her body after her fictional character and probably also after Son of Sam. She also would sign her name SOS. She would also tell people that SOS was coming out whenever she got angry, almost like in a threatening way. It did seem like Gemma was pretty much channeling and trying to turn into her fictional character. And like I've said, her dad was aware of this. He was reading her book as she was writing it. He was aware that she was referring to herself as SOS. and he just
didn't really seem concerned about this at all. And I'm like, how how would you not be concerned? He actually supported her creative writing and thought that it was a good outlet for her, which uh maybe it was maybe this was a good outlet for her. However, she still needs help. And Gemma's stepmom, Nenah, she's still around and she is still freaked out about all of this. She could definitely see that things were going south. But again, every time she brought it up to Richard, he would just brush her off. He didn't want to hear about it. And Nina did try her best to get through to Gemma, to help her, to try and change her behavior. But Gemma wasn't having any of it. And the older she got, the more violent and disturbing her fantasies became. And in the end, her stepmom, Nenah, couldn't take it anymore. She actually called Gemma a psychopath, that she was devoid of empathy, and she was becoming
increasingly deranged. And after 2 years of being in a relationship with Gemma's dad, she ended the relationship because of Gemma's disturbing behavior. And now we get to 2010. Gemma is now 18 years old, and she makes a very big decision. She decides to move all the way to Australia. She just wanted a completely fresh start in life. So, she moved halfway around the world to start again, to be on her own, and to move away from her family. She ended up moving to Perth, and she got a job at Wworth's supermarket. And her co-workers have said that Gemma was very likable, that she was very quick-witted, that she was funny, she was very easy to get on with.
But around 4 to 5 months after moving to Australia, Gemma's true colors came to light because Gemma, she finally felt comfortable to reveal who she truly was to her co-workers. She started telling her co-workers all about her passions in life. And as we know, what are her passions? Her passions are literally torture and murder. So, one day she literally just rocked up to work and started talking about her passions and her hobbies, about her creative writing, about the fact that she would write about murder and torture. And her co-workers were shocked. They were very takenback. Gemma started showing her co-workers her fictional book that she had wrote. And her co-workers were like looking through this book and her co-workers were very disturbed. They were like, "What the hell?" I mean, wouldn't you? One day you think you're working with this really funny, likable person, and then the next day they come
in with a book that they have written about serial killers, about murder and torture. She also started bringing in her collection of butcher knives to work, which is not appropriate. Why was she not reprimanded for that? And she started showing her co-workers how sharp these knives were by shaving off the hairs off her arms again. like why is she allowed to do this? She also continued to promote her book Play Zone at this point. She created a Facebook page for the book would use this to post snippets of her writing. In fact, she actually did go on to publish her book.
She published her book under the pen name Sin Demon. And you can actually still find this book on Amazon to this very day. And I couldn't believe it when I found this book on Amazon. I was like, are you being serious? Why is it still up? Do people not know what she has done? Like, why is it still available to buy? It is baffling. She also became a guest writer for the serial killer magazine. She wrote articles about the notorious Australian killers Eric Edgar Cook and Martin Bryant. And again, you can still see her articles online. And I'm like, why have these not being taken down? Does literally no one know what she has done? We now get to 2012. Gemma is now 21 years old and she has been in Australia for 3 years now. But now she is told that she needs a visa. And Gemma had no idea how she was going to get a visa, but she didn't want to go back to England. So she needed to do something to get a visa. So this is when Gemma
decided to set up a completely fake marriage. And somehow she convinced her gay friend Gordon to marry her. And I have no idea what Gordon was getting out of this. I don't even know how close he was with Gemma. Like I don't know why he did this. But anyway, Gordon and Gemma, they get married. And obviously this whole wedding marriage is fake. It's purely so Gemma could get a visa. And this wedding had the most bizarre dress code for a wedding that you have ever heard because it was all based around murder. People had to dress as infamous killers or fictional murderers. So Gemma, for example, she dressed as the TV serial killer Dexter. Her dad Richard flew out for the wedding and he dressed up as Freddy Krueger. She also gave her new fake husband Gordon a nickname of John Wayne Gayy because apparently he looked like John Wayne Gasey. And there's part of me that thinks, okay, is that why Gemma wanted to marry Gordon?
Because she's obsessed with serial killers and Gordon apparently looks like John Wayne Gasey. I don't know. So Gemma and Gordon, they get married. They do move in together. And Gemma was telling everybody that this marriage was completely legitimate. It was real. However, we later know that it definitely wasn't because later people have actually come forward to say that Gemma was having sexual relations with other people outside of her marriage, which obviously we know that the marriage is not real anyway. It's literally just for a visa. One woman, Kim, has come forward to say that she did have sexual relations with Gemma while she was married, where her and Gemma would strangle one another and cut each other whilst engaging in sexual activity. So this fake marriage lasted for about 2 years before in 2014 very tragically Gemma's husband Gordon did take his own life. Now we don't know why
this happened but tragically he was taken away from his family and Gemma got what she wanted. She now had permanent residency in the country of Australia. And now that Gemma permanently lived in Australia, this would have devastating consequences later down the line. After her husband Gordon had taken his own life, Gemma did struggle mentally. She traveled back to England to stay with her dad for a while. She actually told her dad that she didn't want to go back to Australia, but her dad convinced her to. He actually told Gemma that her going back to Australia would be the best thing for her. So Gemma now returns to Australia, which obviously she can do. She can live in Australia now for the rest of her life. And she goes back to Australia. She does buy her own home.
And this is actually the first time in Gemma's life that she is living alone. And it is when she is living alone that her dark obsessions just went into overdrive because we know that she has been obsessed with serial killers, murder, and torture from the age of 12 years old. She has been obsessed with these darker topics for a very very long time. She now fully immerses herself into this world, this darker world, but also the fantasy world that she has created in her book. It was just constantly on her mind. She could not stop thinking about it. And it is now the first time in Gemma's life where she actually seriously considers the idea that she actually wants to kill somebody herself. Because even though she has been obsessed with murder and torture, it has just been an obsession, a passion, a fantasy. It wasn't reality.
But now she actually wanted to murder somebody just for her own fun and entertainment. And obviously in her creative writing, she always wrote about harming the people that had harmed her, i.e. her mom. However, that is not what Gemma was fantasizing about anymore. She just wanted to kill somebody, anybody. It wasn't about revenge. It wasn't because she was angry at the world. She just wanted to do it for fun. She was just so thrilled and excited about the prospect of murdering someone and having that much control over somebody's life.
And this is when she wrote her bucket list. And the top thing on her bucket list was wants to murder somebody. She also specified on her bucket list that she wanted to murder somebody by the time she was 25 years old. Now, Gemma is currently 23, so she is considering murdering somebody very, very soon. She also started openly talking to her friends, her colleagues about her bucket list, about how now she was seriously considering murdering somebody. She would say, quote, "I just really, really want to kill somebody." The feeling is getting stronger and stronger. I can't control it any longer. Gemma also spoke to her friends and co-workers about an urge to kill, that she had this urge that she needed to see blood, that she needed to see somebody die. And obviously, this is very, very, very concerning. But whenever she spoke about this to her friends, to her colleagues, to anybody, nobody took her seriously.
They all just thought, "Okay, this is clearly her fictional creative writing. Clearly, she's joking." So Gemma just continued to talk about murder and nobody reported her. No one was really concerned. People just kind of thought that she was a bit weird and probably avoided her. So now we get to early 2016. Gemma is now 24 years old. So she is fast approaching her 25th birthday and we know that she wants to murder somebody by the time she is 25 years old. But this is where we get to something significant happening in today's case because Gemma meets a woman called Trudy Lennon. Now Trudy was 42 years old. She was a single mom of three and she lived in Perth, Australia, which is where Gemma lived. Now Trudy was massively into BDSM. She was a part of the BDSM community and she was always going to meetups and events. She was a submissive and she would go by the name Corvina and she had tattoos of the names
of her ex-dominant partners which was her brandings. And in early 2016, Trudy was going through a bit of a rough patch in her life. Her partner had just left her after their engagement had ended. She was also struggling financially and she couldn't keep up with the rent payments and she was worried about somewhere to live with her children. And it was pretty much at this exact moment when Trudy met Gemma for the very first time. Trudy got introduced to Gemma through a friend of a friend. And pretty much straight away they hit it off. They started meeting up all of the time, going out together. They began flirting.
Trudy started to learn about Gemma's sexual preferences. Gemma started learning about Trudy's sexual preferences. And it wasn't long until they entered into a dominant submissive relationship. Gemma was the dominant half of the relationship. She went by the nickname SOS, which of course she did because that is basically the name that she uses for everything. And Trudy was the submissive half of the relationship and she went by her name Corvina. And the two of them are now in this dominant submissive relationship, Trudy got the name SOS tattooed onto her. And literally within only a few weeks of knowing each other, Gemma asks Trudy to move in with her. And Trudy jumped at the opportunity because she was worried about somewhere to live with her children. She was really struggling financially, so Trudy and her three children moved in with Gemma. But this would soon have very devastating consequences. But initially, everything
was great. However, after being with each other 24/7, it wasn't long until Gemma's true colors came to light because she shared her passion for murder and torture with Trudy. She gave her a copy of her fictional book, Play Zone, to read, and told Trudy that she had a desire to murder somebody and it was actually on her bucket list. And what did Trudy do? Did she run for the hills? Did she think, "Oh my god, I have to get out of this house. I need to protect my three children because remember that there are three children now living with Gemma?" Did she think, "Oh my god, I need to get my children out of this house. I need to get out of this house from this person that has expressed wanting to murder somebody."
Well, no. That was not what Trudy did. Instead, Trudy started to dive into this obsession herself because apparently she wanted to please Gemma as her submissive. So, Trudy started entertaining all of Gemma's murder obsessions. They played all sorts of sexual roleplay games where Gemma would pretend to murder Trudy and Gemma was almost acting out all of her violent fantasies. And I really wish that it could have just stayed there, like stayed in the fantasy world. They also decorated their house with all sorts of horror decorations. For example, they had a Chucky doll, a Jigsaw doll, which, no offense if anyone likes horror movies, but having the Jigsaw doll in your home, wow, you are brave. That scares me. They also named their house Elm Street and Gemma bought a motorbike with the registration 1 SOS1. The two of them were also texting one another all of the time about their murder desires.
And it's just crazy to me that Trudy seems to be fully on board with this straight away, no questions asked. I mean, I don't know if this point she still thought it was like roleplay in their relationship, but it does become very clear very soon that it's no longer just fantasy. Gemma really wants to do this and Trudy still goes along with it. So yeah, it's just baffling that Trudy really is on board with this straight away. So anyway, in their messages to one another when they are texting about their fantasies to murder somebody, Gemma wrote, "I feel as though I cannot rest until the blood or flesh of a screaming victim is gushing out and pulling on the floor. I cannot shift this belief that the world has become not only ready for me, but it needs me to be ready.
whatever that means. And Trudy replies, "It is definitely time. I am ready. You are ready." And like I've just said, most people would think, "Okay, this is clearly fantasy. This is clearly like roleplay, but this is not fantasy anymore." And things are moving so quickly in today's case. Because after only living with each other for only 3 weeks, that is how quickly all of this is moving. They have only been living together for 3 weeks and both women are now expressing that they are ready to kill. So Gemma starts saying that she needs a victim. And sadly, this is when Trudy tells Gemma that she actually has the perfect victim in mind. And this is tragically where I have to introduce an innocent young man by the name of Aaron.
And Aaron Pa was 18 years old. He was also living in Perth, Australia. And he was just described as funloving. He was incredibly kind. He went to church every weekend. He was really close with his parents. Aaron was also on the autistic spectrum and because of this he did face a few difficulties in life. He was sadly bullied at school. He struggled to make friends. He had some learning difficulties. However, he was also extremely gifted and talented with computers. He loved gaming. It was his favorite subject. One of Aaron's teachers, a woman named Megan, almost took Aaron under her wing and she did her best to protect Aaron from the bullying that he faced. And Aaron actually saw this teacher as almost a friend and she was just incredibly sweet to Aaron. And Aaron was somebody that was extremely trusting. You could definitely maybe say he was naive. He was incredibly innocent. He just always
saw the best in people. He never saw any bad, which meant that he was very easily manipulated, which again just breaks my heart. But Aaron did have a small group of friends that he was incredibly close to. He was known to his friends as Aza. And he would entertain his friends for hours with all of his quirky little stories. He loved superheroes and anime. He loved Japanese culture. He was actually learning how to speak Japanese. And at 18 years old, he was actually saving up to go and travel to Japan. And all Aaron wanted in life was just to be happy, to settle down, and to have a family. And now we get to Aaron's relationship with Trudy because obviously Trudy told Gemma about Aaron.
And Trudy actually knows Aaron very, very well. Trudy had actually known Aaron for years because Aaron had lived on the same street when he was growing up. They had lived on the same street for eight years, meaning that Trudy had known Aaron since he was 10 years old. So, she had seen him grow up, which makes this so much worse that she now sees Aaron as the perfect victim. And what also makes this so sickening is that Trudy has a 14-year-old son who was really good friends with Aaron. So again, that is so sick and twisted that Trudy, who has known Aaron since he was 10 years old, and Aaron is friends with her own son, she now thinks that he is the perfect victim. Aaron was basically a family friend. That is how close he was to the family. But tragically, he had no idea who Trudy truly was down to her core. So once Trudy told Gemma about Aaron, about the fact that she thought that he would be the perfect victim,
Gemma couldn't get murder out of her mind. She kept writing about murder more and more. She was adding more chapters into her fictional story play zone. She also wrote down a whole list of different torture methods that she planned to carry out on her victim. She put everything down in alphabetical order. The handwritten list included branding, castration, bone breaking, and flagagillation. The list also included force feeding, foot roasting, whatever that means. genital mutilation, oxygen deprivation, scalping, Chinese water torture, and many more. And Gemma fantasized so much about torturing somebody and carrying out all of these different torture methods that she wanted to build her very own torture room. So, this is exactly what Gemma and Trudy did. Inside their house, which is named Elm Street, remember? They built their very own torture room. They hung blue plastic sheets all around the walls
to hide the blood stains that they would create. They placed a white hospital bed in the middle of the room that they were planning on strapping their torture victim to. There was also a bright red metal tool cupboard that Gemma planned on storing all of her torture instruments inside of. She placed all of her various different butcher knives in there that she had collected. She had scalpels for removing skin, a bone saw for cutting through bones. Like it's actually terrifying that she actually did this. She actually built this torture room. She actually planned on carrying out all of these torture methods on an innocent victim. Gemma and Trudy also started making a load of visits to DIY stores to pick up various different other equipment and instruments for the murder and torture.
And this was all caught on CCTV. And it's just chilling when you see this footage that you know what they're buying all of this stuff for. They also purchased bleach for cleaning up the crime scene, a circular saw, and cement to bury body parts. They even bought a massive plastic barrel along with 100 L of hydrochloric acid, which was enough to dissolve a human body. I just can't believe that this is real. You know, sometimes I'm just like, what the actual hell? This is real. This is not fictional. And just to be sure that the acid would work, they bought a large piece of meat from the butchers beforehand and dissolved the meat completely in the acid. So once this torture room was built and everything was done, all of the equipment and everything, Gemma's lust for murder went into overdrive. Gemma was talking about murder 247.
She could not stop talking about Aaron, about the fact that he really was the perfect victim. They were messaging each other constantly about Aaron, about him being the perfect victim, about exactly what they were going to do on Facebook. They were leaving a massive digital trail. Gemma wrote, "Meat is meat. Each body a chance to beat them all, and all failed attempts aren't really fails when I free the planet from all the pathetic humans like him. The world is overpop populated as it is. There will be plenty more chances." And that just makes me so angry. How dare she describe Aaron as a pathetic human? Who is she to call anybody that? If anyone is pathetic, it is her. And eventually, Gemma decided that she couldn't wait any longer. Her lust for murder had grown too strong.
And tragically, this is when the pair decided that they wanted to act. Because we now get to the 13th of June, 2016. At this point, Aaron was living as a border with a woman named Adrien. They had met through church and she had taken him in. And on this morning, Aaron was just eating breakfast when he received a phone call. And who was phoning Aaron? Well, it was his family friend, Trudy Lennon. And Trudy started telling Aaron that she needed someone to install gaming software on her son's computer. And because Aaron was so good with computers, she thought that Aaron would be the perfect person to do this. And also Aaron was also friends with her son. So again, he was the perfect person to help her out. And remember, Aaron is incredibly trusting. He only ever sees the good in people. But also, why would he be suspicious of Trudy? Up until this point, there had never been any reason to be suspicious of Trudy. So, of
course, Aaron was going to say yes. Of course, he was going to help out a family friend, but also the mother of one of his friends. So Aaron agreed straight away and he started to make his way over to where Trudy lived. At around 10:00 a.m. that morning, Aaron arrives at a nearby shopping center to meet Trudy. You can see him on CCTV holding an iPad. Aaron was then driven to Gemma's house by Trudy. He went inside the house. He was given a cup of coffee and then he sat down to get to work on the computer. But this is when Trudy goes to the back of the house. You can see this on security cameras. And when she makes her way back towards Aaron, this is when you see her pull out a large carving knife right there on the video footage. And sadly now, everything would end in tragic circumstances because after Trudy returned to that room that Aaron was in, this is when Gemma pulled out a metal wire. She
wrapped it around Aaron's neck and attempted to strangle him. And this came completely out of nowhere. Aaron was just sat there innocently trying to install software on a computer when this vicious attack launched. And when Aaron felt that metal wire around his neck, he fought back. He started biting Gemma's hands. He fought so hard that the metal wire snapped. And at this point, the murder wasn't going as planned. They hadn't planned for Aaron to fight back. So Trudy pinned Aaron to the floor. Gemma picked up the large carving knife and just began to stab Aaron over and over again. Aaron raised his hands. He was desperately fighting back. He suffered defensive wounds all over his hands. This wasn't quick at all. This was a very long drawn out attack. And sadly, after fighting for as long as he could, this is when Gemma managed to land three significant blows. She stabbed Aaron twice in the neck and once
in the chest. And one of these wounds proved to be fatal. And tragically, this was the moment when 18-year-old Aaron Pitch lost his life, which just breaks my heart. He was so innocent. He was so young. He just went over to a family friend's home to install software on a computer and he was just murdered in cold blood. His life was taken away from him for absolutely no reason whatsoever. And after the murder, this is when Gemma and Trudy had realized that the murder didn't exactly go to plan because obviously we know that Gemma had built and prepared this whole torture room.
She planned to take a victim into this torture room and torture them using all of those different torture methods that she had been fantasizing about for so long. But that is not actually what happened. She had never planned for Aaron to fight back. Gemma wasn't expecting that. So Gemma had to murder him quick. And she actually had the audacity to be disappointed with the murder. Yeah, it's sickening, isn't it? She was annoyed and disappointed that she had murdered Aaron too quickly. She was also annoyed that the murder didn't live up to her sick fantasies. So Gemma and Trudy actually did move Aaron's body to the torture room, but they started panicking because now they have committed a murder. They now have a body that they need to get rid of before Trudy's three children return home from school. I just can't believe it. Yeah, it's very easy to forget that there are three children living inside of this
house. And remember, one of these children, Trudy's 14-year-old son, was actually friends with Aaron. It is so messed up. So, the original plan was to dissolve Aaron's body with all of that acid in the barrel, but they realized that they wouldn't have enough time to actually follow through with that before the children got home from school. But instead, they dug a shallow grave in the backyard and buried Aaron's body. So, the children eventually return home from school and the 14-year-old boy said to his mom, "What is going on? Like, why have you been digging in the backyard?"
And it's just so sickening that Aaron's body is there buried in the backyard. And obviously, it's covered in soil. You can't see his body, but the 14-year-old boy is asking about what has been happening in the backyard, not knowing that his friend is actually buried there. And then it just gets even more sick and twisted because Trudy then asks her son if he would like to help them lay some slabs in the backyard. And this is just so messed up because the 14-year-old son agreed to help his mom in the backyard do this little DIY project. So the 14-year-old son is laying slabs in the backyard, not knowing that he is laying these slabs over his friend's body. Why the hell would Trudy ask her son to do that? Why would she ask her son to help out in concealing a body of his friend? I'm sorry, she's disgusting. She's a sick and twisted monster. And Gemma and Trudy carried on doing this until they had
completely covered the ground in red tiles and concrete. And after the cover up was completed, this is when Gemma sent a text to Trudy which said, "I am seeing things I haven't seen before, feeling things I haven't felt before. It is incredibly empowering. Thank you. And Trudy simply reply to that message saying, "You are welcome. SOS." So, we now get to the next day. It is now the 14th of June and Aaron hasn't returned home. His phone was also turned off and no one could reach him, which was unlike Aaron. So, later on that day, Aaron was reported missing. The police started their investigation and they pleaded with the public for any information.
However, no leads came forward. The police had no idea where to go with their investigation, where Aaron could be, and it did seem like Trudy and Gemma were about to get away with murder. Five whole days passed and no one came looking at Gemma and Trudy as being responsible for Aaron's disappearance. So, Gemma was truly convinced that she had gotten away with murder. So, now Gemma started to fantasize about the next murder. Because remember, she wants to be a serial killer. So, it is not going to stop at Aaron. She started to believe that she could be this infamous serial killer and get away with all of these murders and be like her idols. And she became so cocky about the fact that she had murdered Aaron and was getting away with it that she started to brag to her friends and co-workers about the murder, which just doesn't make sense.
It's like if you want to get away with the murder, why would you start bragging about it? She actually said to one of her co-workers that she had finally done it, meaning she had finally murdered somebody. And this coworker was initially confused. But then Gemma went into excruciating detail to this coworker about the murder. She told this coworker all about murdering Aaron. That is how cocky she was. She believed that this coworker would never go to the police, that she could trust his coworker, but she could not have been more wrong. Gemma freaked out her coworker so much and her coworker was so concerned that she was possibly telling the truth that she had possibly murdered somebody that Gemma's coworker went straight to the police. Which thank God because who knows where this case could have gone because Gemma was truly set out on becoming a serial killer. And thankfully, this would be the downfall
of Gemma and Trudy because when the police arrive at Gemma's home on the 20th of June, a week after the murder of Aaron, the police look around the home and there are no signs of Aaron. Gemma actually took the police out to the backyard voluntarily, and started to brag about the DIY project that she was carrying out. She actually said to the officers, "Oh, look at all of my red tiles. Don't you think they're nice? I laid them all myself. And I'm like, wow, you really are stupid. She is literally pointing the police in the direction of the body. And I don't know why she did this. I mean, I'm assuming that she thought she would still get away with the murder. She probably thought that she would be able to commit many more murders, become this infamous serial killer, and then later on when people would talk about the infamous serial killer of Gemma Lily, people would say, "Oh my god, she literally pointed the
police in the direction of her first victim." That's what I think. Anyway, I think she wanted to create this very infamous story about her murder and how she carried it out and how she fooled the police. But thankfully the police were having none of it because the next day the police returned to the home with a warrant and they dug up the backyard and sadly they found the body of Aaron. They also discovered their torture room which was covered in blood stains. They found all of Gemma's torture equipment, which was dozens of knives, the bone saw, scalpels, a machete, a list of all of the torture techniques that she wanted to carry out, a pot with meat submerged in acid, which was evidence of their test run, and then there was Gemma's CCTV footage, which captured everything. It captured Aaron entering the house, Trudy with the knife. It's like again, why did they not think that through that they had cameras in their
house? Which of course led to Gemma and Trudy promptly being arrested. A year later in October of 2017, both women finally went to trial and unsurprisingly, they both turned on one another. They both blamed each other. Both said that it was the other that had murdered Aaron, not themselves. However, all of the evidence proved them wrong. It was clear that they had both worked together. And thankfully both women were found guilty of murder. They were sentenced to life in prison and they have to serve a minimum of 28 years which is actually one of the longest jail terms in Western Australian history. And bizarrely Gemma's dad, Richard, he still to this day campaigns that his daughter Gemma is innocent.
You believe she's innocent? Yes, 100%. Could you not just be lying to you? No. No.
Why not? I know my Gemma. I looked in her eyes and she seemed to think telling the truth would see her. All right. In my eyes, it's a setup from start to finish.
So, he is still burying his head in the sand. So, yeah, some things don't change. But this case was just so messed up. Everything was just so unnecessary. But I still just cannot get over Trudy. Why the hell did she mention Aaron? Like, why? He was a family friend. She had known him since he was 10 years old. How could anyone do that? How could anyone think, "Oh, yeah, that kid that I've known since they were 10 years old, they would be the perfect person to murder." But not only that, Aaron was friends with her son. So, I really just cannot get over Trudy and her involvement in this case. It's just so heartbreaking what they did to Aaron.
And now I do want to end this video focusing on the victim of today's case. Aaron was described as a fun, loving, kind, and trusting young man. He was extremely gifted with computers, loved spending time with family, and entertaining friends with his stories. He dreamed of traveling to Japan one day, enjoying life to the fullest, starting a family. But all of this was tragically taken away from him far, far too soon. He was just 18 years old. And that brings us to the end of today's case. As always, let me know your thoughts, theories, and opinions. And don't forget to leave me case suggestions in the comments down below because I always want to know what cases you want to hear next. Thank you again to Wild for sponsoring today's video, and I'll see you all in my next one.
