heyo what's up everybody I don't know that language but welcome o I like your name I don't want to repeat what you said because I don't know what that says okay are they bad words I actually want to learn German I've been trying to get get my Spanish back before I Venture off into other languages all right let's mute that welcome y'all hi strange streams number nine Who's Sean Sean White I'm wearing a hat this week ball cap check it out if you know the reference you're cool wolf is a sha is Wolf the German name for Shawn I would think it would be Sean all right y'all let's get into some recommendations um so I've been doing this well here's my Spiel been doing this uh weekly stream last week I wasn't here I had some uh personal stuff that uh I was doing in another state uh so it was in the round to stream but we're back this week and I got a bunch of games bunch of cool games um but I always like to start off the

stream with some recommendations by the way I'm Drew I am the filmmaker a producer director of high strange TV um we made a film series a analog horror series called doors uh as well as a bunch of other short horror films it's all horror it's all spooky stuff all the time on this channel High strange TV um but let's get into it so this week I don't even know what's going to come up first I'll just go straight into it Clancy pasta okay this is a podcast SL YouTube um Creepy Pasta narration Channel Clancy pasta is great not the biggest channel in the world um I think he has like something like 300,000 subscribers on YouTube let's find out um but I really enjoy his narration um he's very engaging he's a good Storyteller um but the the Productions are pretty simple it's literally just him telling a story over the same backing track every week um he's got 217,000 subscribers yeah not that many but I think he's one

of the best uh there's a lot of bigger Creepy Pasta narrators out there some of the biggest ones you probably know of I won't say their names I don't really like a lot of the big ones actually but this guy's great um he also just picks really good stories that kind of line up with my Sensibility ities personally um that's kind of what you learn as you go through all these different Creepy Pasta narrators um they they all have different taste they're curators basically um speaking of that I do have two creepy pasta stories you can find the link for those in the description uh I've written two stories for r/n sleep on Reddit um the first one is called um oh man what is it called we were driving the first one is called we were driving cross country when we entered a tunnel do not try to find it that's the whole title and then the second one is just called he is watching us uh and again you can find the link in the description

for those two and read them but they've also been narrated uh if you join I'm promoting so many things right now but if you join our Discord I put a link in for one of the narrations I really enjoyed of the newer uh story called he is watching us so anyway love creepy pastas I love listening to them I listen to them uh during my day job all the time when I'm driving around all the time even sometimes when I'm falling asleep if I'm feeling particularly spooky I'll listen to some creepy pastas so I've recommended a few Creepy Pasta podcasts and channels uh over the last few weeks so yeah Clancy pasta he's great you found me in the footage hey yeah well welcome well I hope uh you stick around week by week every week every Tuesday except for last week and I'll try and give you all a heads up if I'm not coming in for stream how do I go to my next slide here I forget ah there we go all right next up a

movie uh movie recommendation this is kind of the weird one to start with but this is a movie called Mad God directed by Phil tippet it is a stop motion uh film feature film it's about an hour and a half a little under that um it's a shutter original um though it was produced independently it's completely independent production um financed through Kickstarter as well as Phil Tippets um private money um oh you're using T9 typing okay so yeah uh Mad God it's a um stop motion future film uh it it doesn't really operate on a strong plot um it's very interpretive I don't really know exactly what the intention was was um behind the story uh thematically other than it's kind of a guy a soldier just wandering through this mad lovecraftian sort of world uh created using all stop motion techniques by Phil tippet who is the master the Undisputed Master after this film especially of stop motion he um designed a lot of the

creatures in the original Star Wars films um including like the chessboard the 3D chessboard on the Millennium Falcon that was his first big thing uh he did the Piranhas I believe in James Cameron's piranha or not Joe Dante piranha he did um work on Jurassic Park very famously um so amazing artist um yes um but yeah check that out on shudder it's on shutter right now you can also rent it anywhere mad God great movie not really a horror movie but it's like a dark fantasy almost and it does have a plot so it's not just like you're watching a bunch of crazy stuff without any sort of through line there is a through line that isn't is strong enough is just enough to um keep you engaged throughout the whole film and it's just wild it's just a wild movie Next Up terrified this is also on shutter right now I guess it's a shudder original this is a Argentinian um film horror film kind of a weird haunted house movie it's a

little bit in the the vein of Insidious where it's a haunted house movie but with sort of a more sci-fi sort of Twilight zoney twist to The Haunting um psychological aspects as well though it is very much a supernatural horror film uh it is not to be confused with Tera fire the clown the killer clown movie which I have not seen because I've heard people pass out while watching it and I just haven't taken the time yet I'll probably watch it this Halloween because it's a Halloween movie but terrified is an Argentinian film it's great it's just a great tight little um Haunted House movie this filmmaker went on to make another movie called when evil lurks um which got a lot of Buzz I haven't seen it yet though so I can't speak to that but terrified is great that's from 2017 so it's a the title's kind of vague it's hard to find but if you do ter search terrified 2017 you'll find it it's great it's so good

watch it uh and then in the mouth of Madness this is one of my favorite horror films of all time I'm just kind of going through like bangers right now these aren't things I watched recently these are just like actually I tried to watch some movies for this but I can't recommend anything I watched um so in the mouth of Madness directed by John Carpenter it's a later John Carpenter movie post Halloween post um uh Escape From New York Post they live this is one that was kind of underrated for a long time but now is celebrated as like absolute classic it is a straight horror movie from John Carpenter so it's about a guy who's basically on he's a private detective on the sort of a private detective he's an insurance claim investigator on the trail of Sutter Kane who's like a Stephen kingp Lovecraft best-selling horror author who has disappeared and he's hired by the publishing company to find it so U yeah

great movie um check it out I can't recommend that enough either but let's get into some games all right so I downloaded a few different games we'll start with the one that is uh the thumbnail this week which is called movie night very aply in the dark entertainment not Wednesday Tuesday ool is my pronunciation good o okay I have no idea what this is let's give it a shot let's turn that look sensitivity down you know we're going to have to that cuz we always do back new game I don't know if this is super long it did take a while to download what a week it's going to damn what a week it's going to oh she's talking one of my old favorite movies I can't start the show just yet got to prepare a few things first start the microwave Place popcorn on the tray grab the soda from the bridge place it on the tray place the tray on the kitchen uh on the table in the living room okay start the microwave hey the

sensitivity is not bad actually brightness is kind of down there we go hey Phoenix welcome every Tuesday it might be Wednesday in in other nations so I apologize for that give me that soda pop give me it uh oh maybe I got to get the popcorn first yeah whatever it wherever you are what whatever day it is now that's the day that I stream in the states it is Tuesday where okay place the tray on the table where's the tray it's so dark in here that's a stove isn't it yeah it's a stove I'm just going to I'm going to put that there for now we'll find it later dang soda do I have to crouch

oh is that the tray okay get that popcorn back there we go grab the soda from the fridge ha there we go you just got to follow the instructions and then oh oh no I can't get it now are you kidding me is not going to let me grab that off the ground oh my God all right we're restarting that seems like a massive uh thank you I I try with the Riz baby it's going to feel so good to just relax and watch one of my old favorite movies all right here we go I can't start the speedrun that popcorn got to prepare a few things

that is that that supposed to be the closet that's the basement have a flashlight bathroom I think that's the only maybe upstairs hallway SED dark SED dark refrigerator upstairs from the show um no I haven't I'm not sure how to say your name sorry met 44 uh I have not seen the show from I've heard good things about it and I've heard um people have frustrations with the cohesion of the plot this is such a dark game can I change that sorry let's go way up fly there we go but you like the show from here's a blanket that's a blanket baby give me that give me that blanket baby come on baby

all right I'm worried that this game's Broken Oh CR okay maybe if I hover over it long enough any suggestions y'all yeah I've heard comparisons of that show to Lost I did like lost but the ending was notoriously bad is there a closet in the

basement I love just starting out with like an absolute mess of a gameing experience I'm not saying it's the game's fault I might just be dumb but I can't grab that blanket no matter what I do give me the blanket what do we think broken

game if this is broken that's crazy CU this was the number two game on itch reload all right 3 two one I give up or what do we think only thing I can grab is this crate it's got to be I got to be able to get that but but it's not working all right I give up love that that's so frustrating I'm sorry y the first game I play all right well I'll just download another one if I don't have enough time or if I haven't built in enough time with these games um this is onop phobia yeah I love the amount of German that's going on in

here did you hear about those metaloid deposits on the ocean floor that make O2 chemically that's cool I haven't heard of that so it's not a plant not uh organic plant substance making it onop phobia so hopefully this one works I purchased a a bundle of these games it's like six bucks from for uh six games I think from board Leviathan that is the name of the developing team person um but they look cool all about 5 Seconds of gameplay ooo all right let me change that performance

oh I'm not sure how I ended up in this nightmare but everything feels so Eerie here the silence is suffocating and the Darkness seems to stretch on forever there's a sense of dread that hangs in the air and I can't shake the feeling of being watched something haunts this Corridor I can feel it following me I'll keep looking for a way out but for now I'll document my experiences here maybe it will help maybe it will help me make sense of this nightmare well that's helpful to me that you decided to document

it zoom in my vision yes black Cut's daughter rules met 44 it's a great movie I have not seen longlegs yet but it's the same director um and I do want to see that yeah great movie very spooky yeah if you haven't seen the black code's daughter it's just like one of the best of that like a24 style of movie I don't think it is a24 but it's in that vein of that early run of movies of like the witch um House of the devil um stuff like that where it's like a slow burn but there's enough atmosphere throughout the whole thing you're not just like falling asleep like some of the more recent entries in that genre

yeah met if you haven't seen a cure for wellness sounds like you would like it um based on the other stuff you've said it really went under the radar it was actually a studio movie but it it was a massive bomb uh good movie though I can't stand the quiet uh it's from the director the ring the the American version of the Ring ginsky I can't remember was there something I needed to grab before I leave I can't remember guess not let's go all right where where should I run when I see that fool again probably run for the exit right but that didn't seem possible to me my favorite analog horror series is still local 58 um I think that dude just that dude just nailed it right out the gate um I also liked analog archives which is a very similar thing to local 58 yeah y'all in the chat what uh what analog Horrors should I watch I've thought about watching them on stream but um I think that would if I watch it on

show yeah I need to watch that I love a good spooky hospital I mean this yeah this uh relates to that actually I wouldn't be surprised if a cure for wellness was inspired by the kingdom although I haven't seen that series I know that um Stephen King really liked that

show and it reminds me of oh this should be one of my recommendations but um just the concept of the kingdom is kind of like the show G marangi dark place if yall um watched that back in the day on Adult Swim it's British TV series um yeah it's also like it's like a silly spooky haunted hospital all right here we go let's focus here we go baby run here we go here we go Focus I'm always Det tur by games that start out this difficult I can't see I can't see there it is there we go turn turn turn like the birds always said yeah baby yeah we're cooking there's the door yes yes get to it get to it get to it key yes ah open no I was celebrating way too soon I didn't know I had to cck all right we got it this time we got it oh my God now I'm I'm

creepy pastas no matter what you're doing writing is important it is basically just how you develop your ideas so even if you're not writing a whole screenplay yourself or a whole um novel yourself or something you're just writing a little bit so that you can make a little short film that it's still important to know about the process of turning ideas into a completed thing ultimately it's all writing so uh even if you're making it up as you go um it's important to know those things you can learn these things and then throw them away you can learn the basics throw it all away if you want to but it's important to learn those Basics yeah Thomas Fenton scream scream writers handbook is a great little um reference guide see maybe I should do just a whole stream on this kind of stuff and just like

really uh write out what I'm talking about so yeah that's the screenwriters handbook this is like a little known thing um this book and basically it's this is like honestly the best place to start is the screenwriters handbook because this dude Thomas Fenton he's a screenwriter for some of the Saw movies he wrote like saw four through six or something like that and a couple other things and he just very simply condenses like four different onw writing books so including Stephen King's on writing Sid field screenplay and just like squishes them all into one uh explicitly targeted at writing horror um so it's a really short book it's only like 120 Pages or something and it is like it's like instructional so you can follow it chapter by chapter and by the end you'll have a story of some kind um that's viable um that's a great one highly recommend that but um see 840 let's see if we can find one
