It is time for Moose the Menace to go outside. The vet checked him over this morning because he was born with some lax pasterns behind and in front, and he has been very cooped up. He has wanted to go outside since day one, so it is time for him to get about 30 minutes of outside time. I think we are going to get some very quality rompies and bad boy energy. So, it is now my job to wrangle him. This is going to be hard because he is so strong. All right, you put it on, Miss Eliza. Jesus. Oh my gosh. Oh my. How many people does it take? Okay. Okay.
All right. Mama first. Oh, Lord. Just do not grab his flanks. Yeah. Okay. How many people does it take? Easy. He is literally trying to headbutt me. Okay. Okay. Let me get the halter off first. Halter off first. Watch out. Let Mama go. That was hilarious. Moosifer. Now, we had to put these stalls back in just for a little bit, so I am hoping that they do not stay here too long. It can go in, but if you want to use it as like a duck-in situation, you can. Oh, Raven. Moose, you have never been able to run. Look at you, big boy. Oh, that is not very nice. That is Rachel.
Easy Mama. Raven, go gallivant, honey. Take your baby. Oh, he does not know what to do with his legs at all. He has no clue what to do with them. They are going in every direction all at once. He looks like a draft cross baby. He is so thick. Oh. Oh, Lord.
Okay, good. Okay, here we go again. Raven is so excited just to be out of that stall. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. All the rompies are mostly from Raven. I kind of thought that she would be a little chiller. Hey. Hey, do not run us over. I like the commitment, Eli.
Oh, my handsome man. He is so stunning. He is still a little lax, but this is going to help him build that strength. He looks so much better than he did. What is he, nine days old? Look at the muscle he already has, and he has been cooped up in a stall.
Got to smell all the poopies now. Do not bring him to run into us, Raven. Oh, wow. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Oh, Lord. Moose, you big man. She looks amazing. Raven looks fantastic. Yes, you do, girl. Oh my gosh, she has snapped back. Your mama is hot, big boy.
If you try to get in there, I swear I am not fishing you out. That is a you problem. No, of course we have this whole arena, and we are going to try to get behind the water tub. Love that. Hi, big man. You look so good. You look so handsome. Be careful. Doing a little tamer canter. Oh, do not you run him into us, Raven. Whoa. I do not trust those back hooves one bit. I have been wondering when she was going to roll. Watch out, Moose. You are going to get kicked. This is Mama’s time. This is really for Mama. It is not for Moose. You just have to be here. You are just her accessory right now. Oh, the tootsies. The tootsies and the romps. She is so happy. This is more of The Raven Show, and Moose is just along for the ride.
Oh, wow. She has more rompies in her than I expected. Look at those legs. He will get them figured out. You will get them figured out. We have to get some snackies. Refuel. What do you think about all this, Moose? Go with your mom. Go with your mom. There he goes.
Oh, you have been a spicy boy. I kind of expected more bucks and kicks from him. I think he has just been kind of staying with Mama, which is good. I think we might expect some more rompies next time. I think you should roll again. Oh, he is getting a little braver. She is going down for a roll. Is he going to take this as a moment to stay with her, or is he going to go be independent? No, he is going to get rolled on top of. Leave your mama alone. Tell him, Raven. Do not let him get away with that. You need your personal boundaries. He has been running all over them for over a week now.
Okay, we are being a little bit more independent. Mommy is over here. He is definitely moving his way toward her, but he does not have to be on top of her. That is cute. Oh, he is going to be a menace. I can already tell. Today, he is being a good boy. He is like, “I will stay with you, Mom.” I do not think that is going to last. Third roll. Are you going to get out of the way this time? Nope. Not at all. Actually, he is angry that she just rolled on top of him. Why do you not get out of the way? He is clacking and trying to kick his mother. He got so offended just then.
Okay, seriously. All right, kids. This is your five-minute timer. You can only get out a little bit today. We will go out more tomorrow. We are going to build him up slowly. We do not want him to get tired out and get even more lax because he is doing so well. We just want him to build up that strength and do it slowly. So, you have five more minutes of gallivanting, and then we will do it again tomorrow. He looks like a walking horse right there. Raven said, “Hello, I do not know you,” because this is Eli. He is a new guy. He is doing good. He is giving up his self-preservation for the shot, which I appreciate.
Moose, do not kick him. He is our friend. Do not kick him. Oh, do not breathe. Do not even move. You are encountering a wild animal. A dangerous animal. Look how big he is. I am going to go get his halter and attempt to catch him. Okay, Moose. So, let us put the halter on her, and then you are going to have to, like, I am going to hold him, and you are going to have to put the halter on him and just see if he goes in with you. Go in there. It is fine. Go in there. Go in there. Oh, good boy. Oh, good boy. God, Rachel, you are so strong and had your arms around me for a second.
Okay. All right. Come get behind him. All right. I am going to take him out, and then Mommy goes first. Oh my gosh. Moosifer Moose. At least he is going forward. He is on the left. Yeah. All right. If you want to let her go and then you exit so that you do not get the wrath. Very angry baby. Angry baby. Okay. Well, I am out of breath. I hope the getting in and out improves, but the out was good. The out was good. They both romped around. I do think he is going to get independent very quickly, and we are going to possibly do some more of this.
If you want to follow Snapchat, that has a lot of behind-the-scenes content. It is not as crisp and gorgeous as the YouTube version, so still come for this. But if you want all the stuff that is not very edited, that is on Snapchat. I hope you enjoyed Moose. We love him. He is the first baby of the year, and now we have two more that very quickly followed him. So, we have all of this to look forward to with them as well. I guess stay tuned.
