What this episode is about

The content highlights escalating tensions and controversies surrounding ICE and Border Patrol actions in the U.S., particularly in relation to the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics in Milan, raising concerns about aggressive policing and public safety. It details allegations of inhumane treatment by these agencies, including mistreatment of animals and protests against their presence, while also criticizing the Trump administration’s tactics and their impact on communities.

Key takeaways

  • When IGs become G-Men: America's watchdogs morph into agents of fear rather than security.
  • As protests erupt globally, Trump's security theater raises more questions than it answers—'Who's really safe here?'
  • Breaking into homes sans a warrant? Just another day in the life of the 'border patrol Gestapo.'
  • Do pets qualify for the 'sanctuary city' debate? Apparently, in ICE's playbook, they don't.
  • At this rate, Super Bowl ads might need a 'terror alert' disclaimer—talk about an awkward halftime show!

All hell is breaking loose as Donald Trump's ICE and Border Patrol Gustapo are ramping up their efforts to terrorize the United States of America before the Super Bowl. The Trump regime has threatened to send ICE and Border Patrol to terrorize people at the Super Bowl. Also at the Winter Olympics in Milan, there are major protests there as a result of the Trump regime purportedly sending ICE agents out there as part of a security detail. Some in the Trump regime deny that's the case and say it's just DHS DHS special services, but the people in Italy aren't buying that as well. They booed JD Vance and Usha Vance at the opening ceremony. I want to show you what's taking place across this country right now as you have ICE and Border Patrol agents are literally kicking dogs. They are torturing pets now as well and breaking the ribs of animals of care and comfort animals to people because these border patrol

terrorists are just that. These are the tactics that they're engaged in. Take a look at what happened in Memphis, Tennessee, where the US marshals acting on behalf of the DOJ right here start kicking a dog here. Play this clip right here.

That's the Trump Gestapo for you right there. Let's take a look at what's going on in Minneapolis here where you'll see there's no change of tone. There's no significant there's no ramp down as people in Minneapolis will tell you. I mean, sure, you don't have Bino there, but you have ICE and Border Patrol Gustapo. They sure as heck are torturing people. Our friends and partners on the ground, Status Coup News, they've been doing such a good job. They captured this footage. Hands on your face. HANDS ON YOUR FACE. HEY, I NEED YOU TO BACK UP. YOU need to back up. Stay safe.

They're pointing handguns at the drivers in the vehicle right now. Hey, hey, hey, get back. You guys need to stay back. You can record, but you got to be back.

Step by the car. Hey, open your [ __ ] door. I need you to back up a little bit more. Hey. All right. Get back.

Hey, get the [ __ ] back. Back. Need to get back. That's the same agent from yesterday.

Stay back over here. Stay back. I see the You're good. Check him for ID. That's fine.

I recognize you. Put your creds down. You're fine. If you got creds, pull them out.

Thank you. Legitimate, please. Okay. There's a lot of fake ones out there, so I'm saying it. So, you know, these guys were all threatening us yesterday with handguns. So,

these people in the car were threatening you with handguns? Yeah. Hand guns like threat.

We know. So Oh, you mean like with hand symbols? Pulling them out trying to engage us.

Pulling out literal guns. No. Making assuming that we were going to do something. So that's why they're being IDed right now.

Wrong. Were you guys looking for these specific observers from yesterday's events or did you happen across them today?

Just got lucky. That's what you want to call it. Get out of our neighborhood, you human trafficking.

So, at first I showed you Memphis, Tennessee, then Minneapolis. Let me show you what's going on in Texas right here where you have ICE and Border Patrol goons, Gustapo, SS, Nazis, call them whatever you want, but they're terrorists. They raid a home without a warrant. They just open the door. They start terrorizing the people in the house. The people in the house like, "Get the heck out of here. Who are you? You don't have a warrant." And as they're leaving, the family member is taping them. And then the ICE Gustapo agent just starts brutalizing the guy.

And it's all caught on camera here. Watch this. They're inside my house. Wait, mom. Is that you?

WAIT. WHERE is he? GET OUT THE [ __ ] HOUSE. YOU DON'T HAVE A [ __ ] WAR. GET OUT THE HOUSE. NO.

YOU DIDN'T TOUCH IT. WHY ARE you in here? WHERE THE [ __ ] IS YOUR WHERE IS YOUR WARRANT?

WHERE IS YOUR WARRANT? WHERE THE [ __ ] IS THAT WARRANT? HURRY UP. GET THE [ __ ] OUT. GET THE WINDOW. Get the [ __ ] OUT. Get the [ __ ] out. WHERE IS YOUR [ __ ] UP? IT'S NOT ANTHONY THERE. THIS IS OUR GUY THAT'S TRYING TO HELP.

ANONY'S RIGHT HERE. ME AND ANTHONY ARE HUGGING him in this place. I don't know. I don't I don't know.

Hold on. Hold on. Get out OF THE [ __ ] HOUSE. GET OUT OF THE [ __ ] HOUSE. GET OUT OF THE [ __ ] HOUSE.

Look at them. [ __ ] OUT OF HERE, [ __ ] UM, here I don't know. I'm recording. I'm recording. Now, I'll take you to East Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis as ICE and Border Patrol Gustapo break the glass door in order to enter an apartment complex and attacks and attack US citizens here. Let's play this clip.

Yeah, you can't get in here because you DON'T [ __ ] LIVE HERE. I COME IN HERE BY MYSELF. HOW SAFE DO YOU THINK we got TO TAKE PICTURES?

HOW SAFE AM I GOING TO [ __ ] FEEL TONIGHT? WE GOT TO TAKE I LIVE HERE. YOU CAN'T TELL ME TO FIGHT HIM BACK. SHE COULD HAVE DID IT TO

THIS IS MY HOME. THIS IS WHAT YOU DID. Do you feel safe? DO YOU FEEL SAFE? YEAH, I'M SURE. CUZ YOU HAVE A [ __ ] GUN.

YEAH. [ __ ] guy with a big [ __ ] So you didn't read the policy at the front door, right?

OH, AND NOW YOU'RE YEAH. SO NOW ANYBODY CAN GET IN? YEAH. SO NOW THEY JUST BASICALLY LEFT IT OPEN so anybody can walk up in the [ __ ] street.

Stand right there. WHAT THE [ __ ] THEY DOING? LOOK AT WHAT THE [ __ ] THEY DOING. GO HOME BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE WE [ __ ] LIVE. THAT'S WHERE I [ __ ] LIVE. I CAN'T EVEN GET AWAY. I'M HOME BECAUSE OF YOU, IDIOT.

YOU COULD HAVE [ __ ] GOTTEN A WARRANT AND GONE THROUGH THE [ __ ] FRONT DOOR. THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING. HIM ACCOUNT IS RIGHT DOWN THE [ __ ] STREET.

THIS IS MY [ __ ] HOME. THIS IS MY [ __ ] HOME AND THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE DOING. I'M A [ __ ] [ __ ] STUDYING. I SANG ON MY GODDAMN FUNERAL. AND AS WE WATCH all of the horrific footage that I just showed you, I think one of the things that needs to get more attention is the fact that the ICE and Border Patrol Gustapo are really having a horrible impact on the delivery of health care. I mean, both in terms of when they're inflicting this torture and uh and they're killing people, um some of these uh instances are preventable.

Um, obviously in terms of the medical care that can be provided after they engage in their horrific acts, I mean, most notably, we know uh when the ICE Gustapo killed Renee Good, they deprived her of medical treatment and care that actually could have kept her alive after they engaged in the anus shooting. And we're seeing this at large in Minneapolis, St. pollen throughout the country as these ICE and Border Patrol Gustapo. They're not trained in first aid. They don't know what to do. And they're also preventing medical professionals from executing their hypocratic oaths to be able to help in these situations and to save lives and to render care in emergency situations.

So you have it on these situations where ICE is actually inflicting this pain and terror on individuals. And then you also have ICE and Border Patrol terrorizing medical facilities and standing in front of hospitals and intimidating migrants and people in general who are getting profiled from actually getting care and showing up because they fear if they're going to go to a hospital, they're going to be rounded up. I want to remind everybody about uh this video that's that went viral. It's a state senator uh Dr. Matt Klene. Uh he's a state senator from Minneapolis in the in the Menota Heights uh region. Uh take a look at this press conference where he talks about what happened with Renee Good here. Play this clip.

This morning I learned for the first time through an NPR story that Renee Good still had a pulse 8 minutes after she was shot uh by an ICE agent. And yet, uh, the offer to administer aid from a physician on the scene following his hypocratic oath, uh, was denied. Uh, I can't say how much that stirs the blood of everyone behind me here uh, as we try to fulfill our obligation, our oath, and our duty to care for the people of Minnesota. And I believe it stirs the blood of every patriotic Minnesota who knows how we treat each other in this state. So that is what we are here to speak to today as healthc care professionals.

I think that's not getting enough attention. And I want to bring in state senator Dr. Matt Klene, works at the Mayo Clinic, uh internal medicine doctor, hospitalist, uh there. Uh you represent the Mandota Heights uh area, and you're running for Congress uh in the second congressional district currently held by Congresswoman uh Craig, who's running for that Senate seat that Senator Smith is vacating. Uh but let's talk first about the press conference that you had and what I think is not getting enough attention which is ICE and border patrol are uh adding to the pain suffering and causing deaths preventable deaths after they engage in these heinous crimes um by not rendering aid and preventing aid from being rendered. No, absolutely. We saw uh both at the death of Renee Good and also at the death of Alex Prey, there were providers on scene who were prevented from administering aid and and who knows

uh in particular with the case of Renee Good, what impact that might have had since we know she had a pulse several minutes after the shooting. Um and and of course what also developed out of that press conference, the 50 or so physicians behind me wanted to share their stories that uh people are terrorized and afraid to come into clinics or into hospitals because they're afraid they'll be snatched. So they're staying home with acute conditions like appendicitis. They are not going to their follow-up neonatal appointments. Uh you know they're allowing their jaundice babies to go untreated. Uh and once they get to a hospital or a clinic, uh ICE is completely buffoonish. They are completely overstepping the boundaries of where they should be in public areas, stepping into private patient rooms, uh sometimes accosting individuals in the middle of medical care. Uh and I tell you what, I I've been a doctor for 35

years. I've worked with law enforcement and never had a problem. There's a clear understanding of how you conduct yourself professionally so that you can perform your duties and not interfere with medical care or patient privacy. And these guys have no concept to that. I think that's a great point that you raised, which is that for decades you've worked with law enforcement who don't wear masks, who are trained in how to respond when people are injured or bleeding out or experiencing these things, and it's dealt with through protocols and procedures, and there's ways to do it. So when Donald Trump's Border Patrol and ICE Gustapo just say it's frantic and these scenes are so chaotic and that's why we don't know what we're doing. I mean you respond what are you talking I mean this is why people are trained. This is why you have professionals and it's kind of at that level which is they're terrorizing

people and they're not even exercising a modiccom of of of training because they don't have it to begin with.

Yeah, we heard that from law enforcement more compellingly than my story. You know, we heard from police chiefs who said after a shooting like uh Renee Goods, the first uh duty of officers on scene would be to administer immediate aid. Obviously, they watched as you and I did on the video that nothing like that occurred for several minutes, you know. And the other aspect of this is that uh we have this large detention facility here in Minneapolis, the Whipple detention facility, and all reports now are that people are being held there with leg shackles packed into cells. There's no beds, no blankets.

There's no sort of health care providers on scene to administer medications appropriately or intervene should a medical emergency occur. Uh so, it's just uh primitive. Uh, and it's like something out of a 19th century uh novel honestly.

What What else were you hearing? I mean, obviously we know the story, tragic, horrific, nightmare, Renee Nicole Good. Um, what what what else are you hearing in terms of, you know, from the other physicians? Stories that stood out to you?

Yeah. Well, the one was uh a patient who chose to sort of have birth at home uh rather than come in for an inhosp, you know, and we're able to guide people through that in an emergency uh over the telephone or something to to have a home birth, but it's obviously not ideal and it wasn't the perfect circumstance for that. Uh patient who had a baby at home who had jaundice uh and didn't want to bring them in for sort of appropriate intervention and and monitoring of that condition. So people avoiding really necessary care and as you know and as we all know uh delayed care is worse care.

People come in sicker, their uh illnesses are more severe and their uh cost of care is much higher. Um and of course we're hearing the stories of inhumane treatment at that uh detention facility. Uh people are really cold out there. The temperature is cold sometimes when they release them. They release them in the middle of the night in the Minnesota winter uh with no sort of means to get home. Uh so it's very primitive care. Uh, and as a healthcare provider, I can tell you it's a it's a public health emergency.

You're a state senator right now from the Mandota Heights region. You're running for Minnesota's second congressional district. As I mentioned at the outset, that's a district that's currently um held by Congresswoman Angie Craig. She's running for Senate. So, that creates a vacancy here. Um, the stakes are even different than I think you expected. I mean, like, you know, given that your uh state, your district that you also represent as a state senator, um your district, if you were to win, is under attack, like under an invasion. So, put put that in perspective in the context of your race.

Well, you're absolutely right. I ran I jumped into this race in May thinking that I had a voice to bring as a physician. I still believe that. It's a time when healthcare is under attack and in crisis and misinformation is rampant. So, that is a big part of what I'm doing here. But obviously since that time we've uh gone full into a constitutional crisis as your podcast has so ablely pointed out. Uh anybody who aspires to be a congressperson needs a plan for what we're going to do. First of all, we need a ICE to get out of Minnesota. They need to leave immediately. Uh and then we're going to have to have some sort of uh exposure or trial for the people who have violated the civil liberties and and constitutional rights of motans. Uh we are going to have to get a Congress that can reassert its article one powers. Honestly, Ben, that that can uh control the power of the purse, how much we spend on ICE each year, control the

power to declare war uh whether we invade Greenland or not, and put up some sort of guard rails around the overreaching chief executive that we currently are burdened with,

right? You know, rightfully so. when you're under invasion. Obviously, the number one issue is invasion and stopping the invasion. I mean, the the scenes out of Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding areas, war. It's the, you know, the the journalists who were there, you know, and and the ones we work with, I mean, it's like wartime correspondence of what's taking place. But there are other issues taking place in in Minneapolis, St. Paul, throughout Minnesota. I mean, affordability, uh, people's health care is being ripped away. When I do these interviews with other people who are running for congressional seats, they talk about how Trump is destroying their congressional district. And frequently when there's a MAGA candidate on the other side, you know, they'll talk about how the MAGA candidates have affirmatively inflicted pain. And in some of those states, they don't have the invasion factor to the same. So you

have the invasion plus you have the kitchen table issues where people are struggling as well and so talk to us about that before we go because people still have to deal with all that other stuff and the roads have to be plow you know all the things have to happen.

No absolutely well and one of the things that we're going to see here in Minnesota as a result of this invasion not only is it offensive if for any patriot uh who believes in the principles for which we fought the American Revolution but it's devastating to industry all across our state. It's devastating to agriculture. They will not be able to get, you know, workers to come into their fields uh this summer during harvest uh or planting. Uh it's devastating to our restaurant industry in Minnesota who can't get workers out.

Healthcare industry uh who needs, you know, nurse practitioners and uh physician assistants and so forth who come in that are often people uh immigrants or people of color are not coming in to work. So our economy is, you know, being completely damaged by the MAGA policies of Donald Trump here in Minnesota because we're under attack. And even before that, uh, we had a crisis of healthcare. There's going to be a trillion dollars in medical assistance cuts in this state. That'll devastate my old downtown hospital, a Henipin County Medical Center. But it'll also result in the closure of nursing homes and small hospitals in rural Minnesota, home services, like if people need oxygen when they leave the hospital to stay in their homes. Uh, and that's going to play out in blue and red districts. Actually, I think a little more po painfully in red districts. And, uh, hopefully we can rebuild together

and and do it better. Where can people learn more about your campaign, doc, and any final message you have to our six million subscribers?

Yeah, thanks so much. First of all, we're going to get through this together. I'm inspired by the people of Minnesota. If you've seen on TV, uh motans are strong people. They care for each other. They're coming out in this moment with courage. Uh and they are asserting their, you know, liberties. I think history will judge very kindly, uh the resistance in Minnesota and how they did it with passive or uh uh nonviolent resistance. You can learn more about me at kleinforongress.com. That's kaleinfor congress.com. Uh, and I'd love to um speak to your listeners anytime.

We appreciate you being on. We appreciate, you know, everything you're doing in the state and the resiliency that the state and uh all of its cities and towns have shown is inspirational, you know, to to this country. Dr. Matt Klene, state senator running for Minnesota second congressional district. Thanks so much.
