Not only is Canada absolutely furious at Donald Trump and his dastardly regime, not only is Prime Minister Carney in Davos calling out Donald Trump and his regime, not only is Carney and Canada making trade deals with the rest of the world to further isolate the United States as Trump isolates itself. Canada right now is preparing military models to respond to hypothetical American invasions and how Canada would respond. And folks, this is being reported in the Globe End Mail. And you know, when they're reporting about it as well, it's kind of reached a fever pitch where they're like, "Okay, we can't ignore this anymore." It's just interesting, right? Because when we've been doing these reports with Midas Canada, of course, you know, Charlie Angus runs Midas Canada. There were a lot of people at first and you would see, especially with the uh right-wing control of Canadian media and some of these other
uh media entities, they'd be like, "Oh, and Charlie with his American buddy Ben, they're out there fear-mongering. There's this is not really going to happen." And why are you even talking about preparing for military invasions? And what does Angus mean when he talks about Canada building up a citizen reserve? What is What is Angus even trying? Calm down there, fellas. You're just, by the way, the same things that people were saying about Midas in 2024 when we were trying to warn people. This is what's coming. They're going to have ICE and Border Patrol invade your cities. It's going to have the Gestapo and the SS across the Oh, you're comparing him to Hitler. You're saying he's demented and he's amazing. Oh, you're being Why would you ever say those things? Well, because it's true.
Because it's objectively obvious that it's happening. and it was happening then. So, here's what I want to share with you as well. Um, first let's talk about what Prime Minister Carney said about Canada stands by Greenland. Let's play this clip right here.
On Arctic's sovereignty, we stand firmly with Greenland and Denmark and fully support their unique right to determine Greenland's future. Our commitment to NATO's Article 5 is unwavering. So, we're working with our NATO allies, including the Nordic Baltic Gate, to further secure the alliance's northern and western flanks, including through Canada's unprecedented investments in over the horizon radar, in submarines, in aircraft, and boots on the ground. Boots on the ice. What he's saying there is everything. Okay. Um, boots on the ground in Greenland, talking about Article 5 against the United States, building a trading relationship. He talks about trans-Pacific, transatlantic Canada, without the without the US right there bypassing it and bringing in uh, you know, 1.5 billion people together and and you see how this is forming, right?
European Union's deal with the Muser countries with Brazil and Argentina and others there. Then you've got Carney making the move with the trillion dollar trading pact with China. You've got Carney making the deal with your like you see the formation of what they're building as Donald Trump just wakes up one day and he's like, "Oh, what? You don't want to join my board of peace that has Putin and Lucenko on it? 200% tariffs for you France on your champagne and wine and uh and tariffs for you. It's just like a like a mad man. It's ridiculous. I want to bring in Charlie Angus, leader of Midas Canada, leader of the Midas Canada resistance tour.
Charlie, let's talk about this and let's specifically though where to start. I guess let's focus on the milit we'll get to Davos, but let's talk about the military plans. what you're hearing from your sources as well.
Okay. When you see on the front page of the Globe and Mail, uh, and an article by Bob Fe, I'm just going to say United States has Bob Woodward. We have Bob Fe. When Bob Fe used to call me in Parliament and say, "Charlie, I want a straight answer, man. You didn't mess around with Bob Fe." So when Bob Fe calls into Canada's military establishment and says, "I want to know what your plans are." Someone's going to talk to him. So what are those plans? Well, clearly Canada military, and I think we've all been thinking this was happening, but we didn't hear anything cuz you just don't talk about this kind of stuff. They're planning uh a military resistance to the United States in the case of an Trump invasion. And what they're expecting is that they will pull the military back. Trump's the United States army will move in if this happened. This is how it's going to game out. If the United States crosses the
border, they will probably take all the key defensive positions within the first week maybe. But that's what because Canadian military will be moving out into the field for what they said is going to be a muja hadin style counterinsurgency with the objective of inflicting mass casualties. That's staggering. We're talking about our next door neighbor. Canadian and American military and Navy and Air Force have worked together uh for 80 plus years, but now we're talking about this the gaming out uh the mass casualties from a counterinsurgency war.
And I will say, Ben, Canada has a lot of experience. They put us in Kandahar in the heart of Taliban country. There's a lot of experience. Canadians have been on the front lines of Ukraine technically as trainers, but obviously getting trained. the fact that the Globe and Mail is putting this out there now as Prime Minister Carney makes this dramatic speech, this speech in Davos, I think is the most dramatic uh geopolitical speech I've ever heard from a Canadian prime minister because it's going to draw heat. He's basically saying, "We will stand with Greenland.
We will put the boots on the ground to defend. We know that that means Donald Trump's going to turn his rage at us." Canada has just said, "No, we are not going to pay a billion dollars to be part of this gangster carve up of Palestine. Donald Trump's been threatening the other allied countries." They are going to turn on us now. And what we're seeing is that for the longest time, Canadians have been quietly preparing. And some of our I'm just going to say some of our Canadian military troops, the the famous Royal 22nd from Quebec, the Princess Pats, these are mean mofos. if they go up into the hills, everything is off the everything is on the table.
I think we're seeing though a more coordinated effort in Davos amongst nations now asserting themselves against Trump. And I you know, look, we could we could view it in a lot of ways. One way is they've been appeasing him. They've been treating him like a baby. They've been dragged along for this and this should have been addressed over a year ago. I think that's mostly true, you know, with a lot of with a lot of world leaders, right? Um, but there is another element that at least it always felt to me that Carney at least was playing a little and I'm not trying to say I endorse Carney on everything. Let me be clear about that. But it seemed that on a foreign policy level, he seemed to be playing a little bit more chess with Donald, both in terms of not agreeing to, you know, any BS trade deal, even where the European Union and others, you know, did jumped into uh, you know, bogus trade deals with
headlines that helped Donald, which we knew weren't going to be implemented. But it seems now you have lots of countries saying, "Okay, we're ready to assert ourselves. We see where this is going. We're in 2026 now. We're not going to do 2026 the way we did 2025. It feels like that more broadly with Canada leading the way, frankly, and Carney looking like the ultimate statesman in Davos even versus the other people who were there.
Well, it's really interesting because, you know, we've always seen ourselves as like the little brother nation, little brother to the United States, little brother to the UK. Uh but we've seen like total lack of leadership um and from the UK from Kier Starmer. He's still just like this week talking about his biggest worry being a a tariff war. Freak. The tariffs have nothing to do with this. We're talking about a gangster threatening a shakeddown to take an independent nation. That's what we're talking about. I think the uncertainty that some Canadians felt about Prime Minister Carney is that he plays his cards very close to his chest.
He doesn't say what he's going to do, but when you start to see look behind and see where he's been, it's starting to to become clear. It all now at Davos was laid on the table. The determination that this is a moment that either the West stands up or the West breaks. Certainly, they're popping champagne corks uh in in Moscow tonight. I mean, Vladimir Putin has his sock puppet in Washington. A man who says he doesn't care what happens next. He's going to destroy the Western Alliance. He's doing this because what? NATO or or Norway didn't give him a Nobel Peace Prize. You know, Canadians are looking to the United States and saying, "Where are the leaders? Where are the adults?" Well, if the adults aren't there, then this is a long-term struggle for us. So, we have to make decisions. So, I think what you're seeing is a recognition that the price of freedom might be high. Uh it may be intense tariff wars. It may be
more kind of war, but there is no going back at this moment. So, Prime Minister Carney has laid it on the table today. We're seeing the military are planning this out, and there's been a lot of behindthecenes planning for at least a year in terms of what a counterinsurgency would look like. And I just want to assure our Canadian viewers and warn our American viewers, um, it doesn't look good for the force that's going to cross that border. Dr. Aisha Ahmad is a international counterinsurgency expert. She's been laying this out. She says an American invasion of Canada will lead to the destruction of the American empire. End of story. That Trump would be an absolute fool to think that this is going to happen without taking significant losses and ultimately destroying his own nation. So, we at this pivotal moment. I mean, I don't want to be talking about this, Ben. This is the last thing I want to be I don't
want to be scaring people, but this is where we're at. And we're at a moment where we either stand up to the bully um and we restore some sense of democracy in the United States or we go to we we go over the edge. But I think Prime Minister Carney in Canada are saying, "Okay, if that's where we're going, we'll be ready."
You know, we talk about this dystopian name thing, the bord of peace, where you've already had Lucenko in Bellarus who's helping Putin in the invasion of Ukraine. And if you know and then Putin and Donald Trump was asked about it and he's like yeah well we get to like will this replace the United Nations and Trump was basically like yeah like Trump's vision is you pay him you join this board and he calls it the board of peace where you have Putin you know and and and others and I think it's his way to you know destroy NATO you know and and and it is destroyed you know it just like like what's fascinating now and that's maybe not the right word you know is you still have NATO know with the fiction of the US and you have Mark Rut the secretary of general you know who does these calls with him and you know and has to like in in his own mind behave like well Donald you make a good point right you know and all of that
stuff you know it's just an what do you make of that and then we'll we'll go to le like to me that's the like NATO's over like it doesn't exist any
NATO's history um and the threat to the United Nations though That's very serious and that's what we're seeing with this basically a gangster carve up of what's happening in Palestine. Canada, you know, has played a huge role in the international stage in the foundation of the United Nations in the foundation of the international criminal court in the establishment of the statute overall. Um, I think Prime Minister Carney has tiptoed around some of the egregious uh attacks on these international institutions and international law because he was sort of trying to get space. But Canada has to defend these and Canada will defend these. So what we're seeing and I thought was really interesting in Davos when the prime minister was talking about a new world order of European alliances but also with Asia and Canada is a lynch pin between the those two realms. you know our Commonwealth cousins in Australia, New Zealand,
democratic nations, democratic nations in South Korea, democratic nations in Japan, Thailand, uh that we will be looking to to build this other kind of global alliance because the alternative is basically a world of gangsters of Vladimir Putin, Benny Netanyahu, the loser from Bellarus, uh all going out and hanging out with Donald Trump and try trying to carve up the world. We're just not going to be able to let that happen. So push is coming to shove. So we shove back.
Charlie, before we go, if Donald Trump is watching this from Davos, which we know his team watches it, what's your message to him and his gangster regime?
Well, Donald, um I was asked by people in Europe about your constant baiting and taunting us whether we it gets our backup. We don't care. Put all your dumb your dumbass AI uh posts out. Put your images of Canada with the flag being the American. Do whatever you're going to do. Donald, we're focused. We're focused on remaining a democratic, decent, open society. And to do that, we will defend our border. We will defend our people. We will defend the rule of law. And we will defend the international rule of law. And Donald, you're a gangster.
You're a crook. You're a sexual pervert. You're a felon. You will go down in history as one of the uh worst men of the 21st century. You are the American Caligula. You have no respect with anyone in the world. So, you can huff and puff as much as you want. But what you've done is you've actually helped some of our European allies to find backbone. Canada has backbone. We have will. We will stand up to you. And we certainly don't want to be hurting anybody on the American side of the border. But if it comes to defending our country, you can bet there's going to be a lot of American families who are going to be sorry at the end of the day if they ever ever ever crossed our border.
