Canada is absolutely furious at Donald Trump and his despicable regime. Donald Trump's latest target against Canada is the Gordy How Bridge and Donald Trump is threatening to shut it down unless like the wannabe mobster that he is, he gets paid and he's trying to extort Canada there. I'll go into that in just a moment. Also, Canada is furious as Donald Trump tries to enlist Canadian corporations to help ICE build out concentration camps and give ICE weapons and other devices in order to torture human beings in the United States and across the world. We're going to get into all of that. Let me show you though Donald Trump's post that he made yesterday where he says that Canada is going to be taken over by China which is going to stop ice hockey and steal the Stanley Cup from Canada. You can't make this stuff up. Here's what Donald Trump writes. As everyone knows, the country of Canada has treated the United States
very unfairly for decades now. Things are turning around for the USA and fast. But imagine Canada's building a massive bridge between Ontario and Michigan. They own both the Canada and the United States site and of course built it with virtually no US content. President Barack Hussein Obama stupidly gave them a waiver so they could get around the BuyAmerican Act and not use any American products, including our steel. Now the Canadian government expects me as president of the United States to permit them to just take advantage of America.
What does the United States of America get? Absolutely nothing. Ontario won't even put US spirits, beverages, and other alcoholic products on their shelves. They are absolutely prohibited from doing so. And now, on top of everything else, Prime Minister Carney wants to make a deal with China, which will eat Canada alive. We'll just get the leftovers. I don't think so. The first thing China will do is terminate all ice hockey being played in Canada and permanently eliminate the Stanley Cup. The tariffs Canada charges us for our dairy products uh on our dairy products have for many years been unacceptable, putting our farmers at great financial risk. I will not allow the bridge to open until the United States is fully compensated for everything we have given them. And also importantly, Canada treats the United States with fairness and respect that we deserve. We will start negotiations immediately with all that we have given
them. We should own perhaps at least one half of this asset. The revenues generated because of the US market will be astronomical. Thank you for your attention to this matter. As Josh Windrove writes, he's been riffing about how China will swallow up Canada and the Stanley Cup thing is his new rhetorical flourish. I don't know. It's difficult to boil down the bridge saga discussed for years by officials and lawmakers of every major party in both countries in part to make sure the continent's top trading corridor wasn't beholdened to a single privately owned bridge. The US wouldn't split the cost. Canada fronted it and is going to be repaid by tolls named for Gordy how hockey legend and Canadianb born Detroit Redwing star as a big nod as you can imagine to the country's joint history and now this is what's going on I want to bring in Charlie Angus leader of Midas Canada leader of the resistance tour the Midas
Canada tour going around Canada to a city or town near you Charlie why don't we start over here talking about the Gordy how bridge how significant this is it's also going to have major ramifications and hurt the people in Michigan as well, which is something that Donald Trump seems not to uh care about. And then I also want to talk about how furious people in Canada are at any Canadian corporation that's aiding or abetting the human rights violations and atrocities being committed by ICE. But let's start with Trump's post here. More of a shakeddown.
You know, again, he's not gonna stop as you identified over a year ago when you and I started on this together, you know, even more than a year ago. He's just going to find different ways the same way in Ukraine. He's just trying to every three weeks come up with new ways to force absolute surrender and capitulation. It's not going to stop. It's just going to be new ways to do it with Canada as well. Right. Well, you know, Ben, a year ago when I was on CNN, uh, and they said, "Well, we know that you don't like Donald Trump."
And I said, "Well, it's not that. It's like having to negotiate with Al Capone in his syphilolytic period." Wow, that sure has come true. I mean, you look at the idiot rant that we've just seen. Uh, this this is blather on on high octane. Um, so shut the Gordy Hellbridge, Donald. Go ahead. Every day, 1,500 nurses from Canada go to help keep Detroit's health care system going. I personally think those nurses should be working in Canada. So, shut the bridge. Um 150,000 jobs in the Detroit area because of the bridge. Okay, fine. We'll take those jobs back on our side. $700 billion in trade on that bridge. Um so, you're going to what? shake us down like you're some like the the the loser real estate guy from Queens and you're going to threaten to burn our laundromat to the ground if we don't pay up $700 billion. Think of that. So yeah, Canada fronted the money. Um after serious negotiations on both sides of the
border, this bridge connects the economies of Ohio, uh Michigan, the auto sectors in Kentucky. Uh, so you want to shut that bridge unless we pay you off? Well, explain it to the people of Michigan, Donald. Go ahead. Um, it's so ridiculous. And this, we always laugh when we see this Donald Trump going, "China's going to stop ice hockey." Um, if you're a Canadian and you have to call it ice hockey, you obviously don't know what you're talking about. But Ben, I think it might be the fact that Gordy How was the original Mr. Elbows up?
Maybe Donald is just really freaked out that an incredible uh hockey player who was on the Detroit Red Wings famous production line who reminded Canadians about what it meant to have elbows up. Maybe Donald's just pissed off about that. Well, go ahead, Donald. The elbows will be in your face if you try and stop traffic on the ambassador or um Gordy Hubbridge. Go for it. And look, you see that Canada's boycott is also really on Donald Trump's mind. And he's like, "And they're not taking our spirits on their shelves." Well, you continue to threaten the sovereignty of a nation. The fact that they're boycotting your spirits and your alcohol is the least of the issues, you know, and I think we'll address that. But more broadly, when we start talking about the World Cup, which is going to be hosted in Canada, the US, and Mexico, or we start talking about the Olympics, I just don't know how these things are going to go down when
you have ICE and Border Patrol engaged in these atrocities here and they're out there rounding people up and you have Donald Trump threatening everybody. You know, I I I don't know how those things go off without a hitch. I know people would want to see the games in Canada or Mexico, but honestly, who the hell wants to be in, you know, this United States right now?
Well, I think what's really disgusting, um, and I'm feeling a message I've been getting from Canadians. I mean, yeah, we're really angry, but we're also really embarrassed for the American athletes uh in Italy that they have to go uh while a man like him, one of the most disgraceful, despicable human beings on the planet, a man who's named again and again in child sex rape allegations in the Epstein pages is insulting uh athletes who are giving their best um and insulting the Super Bowl halftime. Like, who cares, Donald?
You're a loser. And what's he do when he didn't like the Super Bowl halftime? He posts a picture of like the American flag over Canada. Like, um, you are, you are, yeah, you're you're alapone in your sypholytic phase, but what it's done, the damages it's doing to the United States on the world stage is staggering. So, we recognize what's happening. But here's the interesting thing. Um, yeah, we're talking to China and we're talking about moving plants here to set up. The Germans are now talking about setting up plants in Canada because they recognize that we are a democratic country. So, you can threaten us all you want, but what we're seeing with the international trade shifts is that people understand that they can no longer trust this regime. They can no longer trust this guy, this man is a predator. He's a mob boss. So him threatening to shut the border, well, he's going to threaten
anything he wants. But it's really interesting to see the countries now that are looking to Canada and looking to trade with us. You know, if the Germans offer to us set up another uh plant, great. If the Chinese want to move EVs into Canada, well, we believe that they should be building them here in Canada, and we're going to be pushing for that. The Swedes are reaching out as allies and saying, "Yeah, let's build our jet fighters for the Arctic and we'll hire Canadians and train Canadians to do it." As opposed to Pete Hoostra, our ambassador, who's saying, "You better buy our F-35 or there's going to be dire consequences." I mean, the mob boss thing only works so far, but when you are on the international stage uh threatening to burn down the laundromat of your competitor if they don't pay up the protection money, we're all watching it and we're saying, "Well, you're going to do what you're going to do. We're
going to do what we're going to do." Right? You have the US ambassador to Canada saying that if you don't buy our F-35s, we're going to pull out of NORAD. And so and so the United States is going to take our F-35 jets and we're just going to fly over Canada to intimidate you because you're not getting our F-35s. So we need to make a statement that only F-35s go over Canada. I mean this is the language of Putin and Ukraine in Donbos and else let's we'll talk about that but I want to go to this very important issue which is Canadians standing up against Canadian companies and Canadian influential people who in any way are having these links with ICE and we're seeing Canadian corporations also I think responding to the public pressure and I think that this is a major issue where Canadians who are watching Midas Canada are watching us right now.
They can make a difference in this. So talk to us about that, Charlie. Well, it's been really extraordinary. Uh we saw Jimmy Patterson who's a Canadian billionaire and Jimmy Patterson had a plant in Virginia that was going to a warehouse. A warehouse. They were going to turn it into a concentration camp. And the deal was being signed and the word got out in Canada and people lost their minds. People said, "No, we do not want any Canadian business involved in concentration camps." So Jimmy Patterson was facing major boycotts. He runs all these grocery stores in British Columbia. People were like, "We're not coming in. We're not going to buy anything if you support uh the torture and paramilitary regime that's being established." And Jimmy Patterson announced he's not selling to ICE. Uh we have Hootsweet, which were supposed to be the good cool kids help you with your social media. People are standing
outside their offices in Vancouver saying, "What the hell are you doing? you're doing uh social media help for ICE what making uh the murder of moms and nurses look okay? Uh do you do uh would you do that for death squads? So can the Canadian pressures increasing and now the big the big big battle is going to come down to Rochelle Industries in Bmpton that are setting up armored uh carriers for ICE. And here's the thing. Under Canadian law, Canadian companies cannot export military uh machinery to countries that will turn them against civilians. There was a big battle recently about Canadian armored vehicles being used by Saudi Arabia and whether or not they were being used against the people of Yemen. And it was a major this was a major court battle because if you were using those uh military machines from Canada, the pro the government is obligated to to cut the export to deny the export permits.
So folks who are in in Minneapolis, Minnesota, elsewhere who are seeing ICE, you know what happens if those armored personnel carriers come on the streets? They are going to be used against unarmed civilians. So the next battle and Midas Canada is getting set up in a big way to help with that battle is to take the fight to the prime minister to say you've got to cancel the export permits for the armored personnel carriers and the vehicles that are going to be used by the paramilitaries against onarmed civilians. You're going to see a huge campaign in Canada and we hope our allies around the world will be joining us to keep that pressure on because we cannot be in any way complicit with a regime that is using it ma the massive power and massive firepower against unarmed civilians uh in the streets of Minneapolis or the streets of any other American city.
Charlie, if Donald Trump is watching this right now, what's your message to him? Donald, you're just such, you know, I don't even know what to say anymore. You know, you sit there and you rant and rage about the most amazing Super Bowl halftime that I've seen in a long time. Yeah. My daughters, all my daughter's friends, they were right there, Donald. And you're on the other side because you're a predator, Donald. You're a criminal, Donald. I mean, you're named in the Epstein files with child rape allegations. That's who you are, Donald.
So now what you're threatening, you're going to shut down the Gordy How Bridge unless we pay you off. Um, you're a grifter and you're a con man. You think you're going to stand up and destroy $700 billion worth of trade between Canada and the United States? Well, maybe you will. Uh, but you're going to have to explain that to the American people. I would like to see you explain it from a jail cell along with Chislain Maxwell and all the other grifters that you've hung out with. But as for us, well, we're going to negotiate with the Swedes. We're going to negotiate with the Germans. We're going to negotiate with the Koreans. And hey, as for ice hockey being banned, Donald, just watch Team Canada. We're doing pretty damn well right now. So, uh, anytime you want to come on the ice against us, Donald, um, we not only are ready to raise our elbows, we're ready to drop the gloves and pull that jersey right over your
head. Charlie Angus runs Midas Canada. could also catch Charlie on the road as part of the Midas Resistance store in a town or city near you in Canada. Thanks, Charlie.
