They are being robbed of their education. and they're at home and where they should be at school feeling safe getting their education, you know, educational needs met and that is not happening. So the reality is that things are still happening in our community and they need to stop

I'm an organizer at Unidos Minnesota and we're here today because we want Target to speak up and stand in solidarity with our communities that are under attack right now and being brutalized by ICE. And Target has had this Target here in Richfield has had two US citizen teenagers, high school students be violently detained and tackled um on their property and they haven't said anything. So, we want Target to do four things. We want Target to declare themselves a Fourth Amendment institution, meaning that they're banning ICE from their property. We want Target to push Congress to make sure that we're not funding the Department of Homeland Security anymore, to violently attack our communities. We want Target to speak out for justice for Renee Good and for Alex Prey who are murdered here in Minneapolis. And um we want Target to stand with us and say ice out of Minnesota and ice out of the country.

1:06:30 What are some ways people could help um support the cause uh if they can't make it to a protest? What are some other ways? Boycotting, calling people.

1:06:39 Yep. Exactly. Yeah. Boycotting, Target, organizing um action trainings in their home cities, making sure that we're not um going to continue to buy from a corporation that hasn't um

And so things are still really bad in our communities. People are getting kidnapped off the street every single day. Um, and things have not died down.
