On this vote, the yays are 230, the nays are 196. The bill is passed, and without objection, the motion to reconsider is laid on the table. And with that, everywhere you looked yesterday, Republicans were revoling against a truly revolting individual, Donald Trump. What you saw right there were MAGA Republicans joining forces with Democrats on the House floor to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies. 17 Republicans joined with Democrats to vote in favor of extending the Affordable Affordable Care Act subsidies in the House of Representatives. Now, it will move on to the United States Senate where Donald Trump is going to work to try to block the Affordable Care Act subsidies from being sent to his desk because he would likely veto it anyway. But it wasn't just Republicans joining forces yesterday with Democrats to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies, which you saw there on the House floor with

everybody cheering, but there was a list of other things as well. So yesterday, by unanimous consent, the United States Senate agreed to put up the January 6th plaque honoring law enforcement at the Capitol building during the January 6th insurrection. Republican Senator Tom Tillis, who is not running for reelection, worked on a bipartisan basis with Democrats as well. And good for Tillis for doing this. Obviously, the Democrats were the ones pushing for this January 6th plaque to be up. The MAGAS were blocking it. MAGA Mike Johnson in the House was blocking it. You had like the DOJ filing uh documents in court saying that uh a law that was passed in 2023 to officially put up this January 6 memorial plaque was unlawful. And Maga Mike was saying it was unlawful. But I think after Donald Trump uh put up on the White House website all of those lies about January 6th, it was too much for even MAGA Republican Senator John

Thun, the Senate majority leader. And Tom Tillis working with Democrats really forced the hand of Thoon. And the Senate finally has agreed that they will be putting up the J6 plaque on the Senate side. Magga Mike in the house refused to put it up on the house side because Donald Trump does not want a plaque memorializing the police officers, the real courageous individuals, the real heroes on January 6th. And as Scott McFarland said, who's one of the people who have been breaking stories on the J6 plaque issue, now this plaque could hang in the third floor visit visitor area where the riers were on January uh 6th.

So you have the J6 plaque. You also have a war powers resolution which was passed in the United States Senate. Right. So just to recap in the House you had 17 Republican House members joining forces with Democrats on a bipartisan basis to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies, but Donald Trump's going to work to block that and veto it. Then you have a war powers resolution restricting Donald Trump's ability to have further military action uh in Venezuela that was voted on in a bipartisan basis as well in the United States Senate. A 52 to 47 vote to advance a war powers resolution aimed at restricting Trump from taking further military action in Venezuela.

You had Republican senators Marcowski, Young, Paul, Collins, and Holly all joining forces with the Democrats there. Tim Kaine was the person who pushed forward the bill. It was joined by uh other co-sponsors like Senator Schiff and 52 to 47. Why don't we bring you to the House floor or rather the Senate floor? I brought you to the House floor before. Here's the Senate floor when that bill passed as well. when that war powers resolution passed the Senate, but Donald Trump threatening to veto that as well. Let's play this clip right here.

The yay's are 52, the nays are 47. The motion is agreed to. Joint resolution will be placed on the calendar.

The joint resolution will be placed on the calendar. Under the previous order, the

and there were more areas as well where Republicans were revoling against Donald Trump. So again, just to recap, affordable care act subsidies, war powers resolution, J6 plaque as Burgess ever writes. Also, when it comes to Donald Trump threatening to invade Greenland on a bipartisan basis, Democrats and Republicans in the United States Senate invited the ambassador from Denmark and the ambassador from Greenland to meet with the United States Senate so that the Senate could reassure the ambassadors uh that the Senate on a bipartisan basis has their back. And even Donald Trump recognizes that the MAGA Republicans are losing control in the House and the Senate. On state regime media last night during an interview with Hannity, Donald Trump conceds that he's likely to lose the midterms and it's likely going to get ugly for him and the MAGA Republicans.

Let's play this clip. And we've done great everywhere. Uh it's amazing. It's an amazing phenomena that on two or three occasions, I don't know, it depends on how far you want to go back, but if you go back a long way, the sitting president, whether it's Democrat or Republican, always loses the midterm.

Even if they've done well, almost always, and you know, you'd think it would be like a 50/50 deal. Even if the president's done a great job, I think we've done a great job. We've done maybe the best job ever in the first year, but they always seem to lose the midterm. There's something down deep psychologically with the voters that they want maybe a check or something. I don't know what it is exactly, but then you had um Senator Tillis from North Carolina, and again, he's not running for reelection, but then he went on CNN, and here's what he had to say about uh Donald Trump's threats against NATO and why it's so important to have NATO. It should be obvious, but here he's basically calling out Donald Trump for attacking our NATO allies. Play this clip. It it's very important for the NATO alliance to know that we have their back because they've had ours. We're the only country that has benefited from the

Article 5 commitment in Afghanistan where treasure and lives have been lost by our allies. We owe them respect and we need to make it very clear that our strength and our ability to project power to stand off against Putin, to stand off Russia, I mean stand off China, Iran, it all rests on this exquisite capability that we have under NATO. Hey everybody, Ben Meelis here from the Midas Touch Network. I wanted to let you know about my podcast partner, Michael Popox new law firm. It's called the Popac firm. Michael Popox pursuing his dream of starting his own law firm really based on the popular demand by all the mightest mighty and legal Aferers who were approaching Michael Popac with their cases and saying can you help us and at that time Popac was not able to. So he went out on his own. He started the pop firm where he is now handling catastrophic injury cases like car accident cases, trucking

cases, malpractice cases, big negligence cases, wrongful death cases. So if you or someone you know have a case like this, the consultation with Popox Firm is free. Give them a call. See if you have a case. It's the popfirm.com. the popfirm.com or you can call 877 popc

Thanks for all the hard work you're putting in. And here's what Republican Senator Tillis says about Steven Miller. Let's play this clip right here. Do you want Steven Miller to lose his job? Look, either Stephen Miller needs to get into a lane where he knows what he's talking about or get out of his job. Look, I I've been the reason why I thought it was important for me to make a comment on the floor is I've been the Republican leader of the Senate NATO observer group since 2018. There is no more important alliance than the NATO alliance and den and and Denmark has punched above its weight. It came to Afghanistan, lost 43 uh soldiers on the ground, fought in some of the most contested regions, honoring their article 5 commitment to the United States.

I think they lost more soldiers than any other country per capita per capita they did. And and Jake, they were they were in among the uh the the NATO allies at the time. It was 30 nations. They were among the top six and and think about all the nations bigger than them. So they to have the prime minister suggest that they have to be prepared for some sort of action by the United States suggests to me that Mr. Miller does not know anything about the alliance, the importance of it. And you know, generals, I was on Senate Armed Services for eight years. And generals would always say the same thing. The only thing worse than going to war with allies is going to war without allies.

This alliance is critically important. Shaking that alliance sends a signal to Putin that he's winning. And Stephen Miller doesn't represent the US government. He represents the article 2 branch. And I, as a member of the US Senate, get to weigh into this issue. And I know whether they say it out loud or not, most of my colleagues agree with me. And here's what uh Republican Congress member uh Bacon has to say. He's from Nebraska. He's also not running for reelection. But here's what he has to say about Donald Trump threatening to invade Greenland. Let's play this clip.

White House just reiterated that US military action to acquire Greenland is not off the table. Have you talked to anybody in the White House, President Trump, Secretary of State Rubio, or anyone else in the administration about this?

Well, not since Miller's comment yesterday, but I hope Republicans stand up against this universally oppose and give the feedback to the president because this is appalling. Greenland is a NATO ally. We have a base on Greenland. We could put four or five bases on Greenland. They would like they wouldn't mind that. They would make agreements with us on mining. Denmark is one of our best friends. They had more people per capita die in Afghanistan and Iraq fighting for us in Iraq and Afghanistan. So, they're a proven ally.

So, the way we're treating them is really demeaning and it has no upside. All it does is it's making our NATO allies angry. It's creating distrust and there there is no upside to it and we're not going to acquire Greenland. I know most green most people in Greenland want to remain uh independent Greenland with Denmark providing you know some protection and they count on us. We're NATO allies. We we have bases there and we could build on that. So, this is one of the silliest things I have heard come out of the White House in the last year, and it's unacceptable, and I hope other Republicans line up behind me and make it clear to the White House it's wrong.

And although not a Republican, he's an independent. Jesse Ventura, former governor of Minnesota, um independent, I think, reform party, um Vietnam veteran, Navy Seal. uh he was visiting a high school that uh engaged in peaceful protests against ICE uh in the Minneapolis region. He was showing support for the students there and just show you how he's standing up for the people of Minneapolis and Minnesota and his words about Donald Trump to me and I want to highlight him because he's not a Democrat, he's not a Republican, he's reform party and you know there's there's lots of areas where you can criticize him. There's lots of areas where, you know, where there's support, but just what he says here, it's the moral clarity here, the moral clarity here, I have such a great deal of respect for. Here, play this clip.

This is a place of learning. And you learn and you learn things like the Constitution. You learn about warrants. You learn about things of that nature. And what we're getting right now is violating all that. What kids are being taught.

You want to know something? I'll give you a quote. We're a third world country now. You want to know why? I'm an expert. I've been to them. I spent 17 months in Southeast Asia while the draft dodger was playing golf. Right? You know how I know we're a third world country? Because in third world countries, they have the military doing their police work in the cities. When you walk around, I was in the Philippines the day Ferdinand Marcos declared martial law and went under dictatorship. We went from nobody to a guy with a machine gun on every corner. That's what happens in a dictatorship.

In comes the military. That's what's happening here. And and people better wake up to it. You want to read something then read your history of Germany and start comparing the tactics of what happened in 1930s Germany to what's happening here.

The first actually read history. You learn from history. And this is nothing new.

This is all repeated. This is a this is a game plan it looks like to me, you know, of what's going on here. How dare Minnesota, we'll take care of oursel. We don't need federal troops coming in here without warrants.

And here Vento is again, play this clip. Some people have said this undermines local law enforcement.

It undermines the entire Constitution. The military cannot be turned loose unless it's a national emergency. They're going to tell me this is a national emergency. Message for Trump and or message for Governor Walls.

Uh, who was that? You mean the draft dodging coward? I don't saw call him by name. He's the draft dodging coward who when it was his time to serve his country. He did what all rich white boys did. I wasn't a rich white boy. I grew up in South Minneapolis. Most of me and all my friends are Vietnam veterans. We had to go. But the rich white boys never had to go, did they? And he didn't have to go, did he? And yet he's going to tell me what courage is.

One more clip for Vento I want to show you right here. We're a country of the Constitution. We have an we have leadership now that has destroyed the Constitution. They don't follow it. They could care less about it. Am I right or wrong? I took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I view after January 6th, the Republican party is a domestic enemy to our Constitution. I can't get any bolder than that, can I? Now, contrast this to state regime media also trying to provoke the population in Minnesota, in Minneapolis. Here you have Laura Ingraham like I don't know like talking to people there and saying like why are you wearing a mask? People like cuz I'm cold. Cuz my nose is cold. Here play this clip.

To the human race. Why are you wearing a mask? To the human race. Why are you wearing a mask?

Because my nose is cold. Why do you care if I'm wearing a mask? I'm just curious. It's a question.

Agitated. This is the crowd. Uh and they apparently are pol their borders. There you have it, folks. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe. Help us get to 6 million subscribers.
