What this episode is about
Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are actively blocking public testimony from Bill and Hillary Clinton regarding their ties to Jeffrey Epstein, despite the Clintons expressing willingness to testify openly. This political maneuvering raises questions about transparency and accountability, particularly as documents link Trump to Epstein, complicating claims that the investigation should focus solely on the Clintons.
Key takeaways
- Trump's denial of Epstein links is ironic; he's mentioned over 38,000 times in the Epstein files—talk about a paper trail!
- MAGA Republicans blocking Clinton testimonies is like hiding the punchline to a bad joke; the truth is rarely convenient.
- Hillary’s call for public testimony contrasts sharply with secretive GOP tactics; transparency feels like a rare commodity these days.
- Claiming to protect the victims while dodging key testimonies? It’s a political magic trick—watch the hands, not the deceit.
- Trump's outrage over Clinton inquiries is rich—like a vegan at a barbecue criticizing the smell of steak.

Oh, Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans are now officially blocking former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from testifying publicly about Jeffrey Epstein, about the Epstein files, and answering any questions that the public may have for Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. You know, this follows Donald Trump and MAGA Republican Congress member James Comr and all the other MAGA Republicans saying the Epstein Files has nothing to do with Donald Trump. This is all about Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton. It's as though like we're all stupid, right? Like Donald Trump appears on the Epstein Files over 38,000 times in 5,000 documents. And that's just in the partial release of Epstein files of three million documents. And there's at least three million other documents, which could be as many as 25 to 50 million pages that are missing. But look, the bottom line is that uh Bill
Clinton says, "You want to ask me any questions about it? I'm happy to speak about it." Hillary Clinton says, "I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to know. You want to ask me questions about it, let's do it, but let's do it in public in front of the entire world and let's do it. Let's do a hearing on Epstein. You want to do it. We're ready to go." So you now have James Comr saying, "Ah, actually, we're going to maybe do it in secret. We're not going to do it in public. Why would we do a public hearing? They think they're special. They think they get No, it's not a matter of thinking they're special. What's in those files, James Comr, is absolutely vile and disgusting.
The allegations, especially against Donald Trump and the cabal that's in the White House right now that you're a sickopant of is disgusting. And I think it's laudable. We should praise people who want to go and testify under oath in public. Well, Donald Trump wants to avoid that. So, here was James Comr last night going on state regime media, which calls itself Fox, saying, "Actually, we don't want to do Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton's deposition in public. We're going to do that in secret and then maybe we'll release it when we say we want to release it." What the hell is this? Watch mega Republicans just utterly terrified here. Let's play this clip. All right. Uh, she wants to tell you how to do your job. You're saying no.
No. Look, she has moved the goalpost millions of times throughout this entire process, then fires out an email attacking me today, accusing me of moving the goalpost, and she's the one who's tried to move the goalpost again. She agreed to a standard deposition. The deposition will be made public. So, what she's asking for is already going to happen. The the deposition will be videoed. You'll have the audio and a transcript. Everyone in America will have access to it. Every deposition I've ever done in the three years I've been chairman of the House Oversight Committee, we have released the transcript and the video and the audio.
So, what she's asking for is already going to happen. But what she really wants, Sean, is a committee hearing. And everyone that's ever watched a committee hearing in Congress, including the one in the in the House this week with the Treasury Secretary knows that uh committee hearings are more for entertainment than substance. The deposition is for substance. This is a serious investigation. The purpose of the investigation is to get justice for the victims and to figure out why the government failed the victims and who the bad guys were and if they can be held accountable. So, this is about the victims. This isn't about the Clintons.
The Clintons are trying to play the victim cards. The victims of Epstein are the victims, not the Clintons. And then you have Magga Mike Johnson like running and scurrying around through the halls of Congress when he's asked by Manu Raju and other Capitol Hill reporters. So why isn't Donald Trump going to sit down then? Don't you see how the MAGA Republican plan though just utterly backfired? They were going to try to make this about Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. Bill Clinton like, "Okay, let's testify.
Let's do it. We let's do it in public." Watch Magga Mike for yourself play this clip.
Shouldn't Trump have to answer some questions, too? He's been named more than a thousand times in these documents.
The president submits to press inquiries every day. Not under oath. Not under oath.
Not oath. Not under oath, but he's asked the questions all the time and he answers them. Uh we'll see where it goes. And then we saw Donald Trump just utterly terrified. Donald Trump was saying, you know, actually it bothers me now. I'm upset that they want to go after Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. That that actually breaks my heart. Right. That's what Donald Trump said two days ago to NBC. And then yesterday, Donald Trump's chief propagandist, Caroline Levit, pared that. And then Trump had his other regime sick offense like Scott Jennings and other like praising Bill Clinton because they're terrified that he's going to testify truthfully. And then Donald Trump's people are saying, "Well, then Donald Trump's got to testify." Watch Donald Trump say, "It bothers me that somebody's going after Bill Clinton."
What do you mean somebody? You are you're the person because you're trying to distract from the fact that you were Epstein's best friend. You flew on the plane over and over and over again. And that you're over these files 38,000 times. That's more references to Harry Potter than in the Harry Potter books. That's more references to Jesus in the Bible than you are in the Epstein files. Listen to what Donald Trump said when he's like, "It bothers me that they want to go after uh Bill Clinton." Why would they do that? Here, play this clip. NBC News broke the story today. I don't know if you saw it that the Democrats are already saying if you bring President Bill Clinton and he has to testify.
We're bringing President Trump. What do you say to that? I I think they might say that, you know, but they've already brought me. See, I've been brought uh they had me indicted uh many, many times. Many, many times.
And the president had some surprising thoughts about former President Bill Clinton.
It bothers me that somebody's going after Bill Clinton. See, I like Bill Clinton. I still liked him.
What do you like about him? Uh, I liked Well, I liked his behavior toward me. I thought he got me. He understood me. You know, he was the one that said very famously that you don't want to run against Trump. When there were 18 people, it was 18 people including me total. And he kept telling them, "You don't want to run against Trump. Run against anyone. Don't run against Trump." And Hillary sort of laughed at him. And then on CNN and the various shows, they had the Trump propagandists like Scott Jennings and others say, "You know what? Actually, our supporters are Clinton supporters.
The Clinton supporters love Donald Trump right now. Here, play this clip." It's true. People saying it's part of the millennial midlife crisis.
Yeah. I'll tell you one thing. Donald Trump's gotten comment with Bill Clinton. We got all his voters now. All the good old boy union Democrats that voted for Bill Clinton in middle America, they now vote for Donald Trump. That is one connection in history that you'll never be able to shake. All these bluecollar non-ol workingass guys from West Kentucky and uh other places in middle America where I'm from. They were Clinton. They were the biggest Clinton people I knew and now they love Trump. They've abandoned the Democratic party.
So what do they have in common? We took all of Clinton's coalition and now Trump's the president.
I don't want I don't want to play politics with this. If you're in the Epstein fouls, you can need to get dragged out,
you know. And this follows all the performative BS of James Comr, all of the lies, like when he was on Laura Ingram and he's like, I can assure you the Republicans want transparency more than the Democrats. Here, play this clip. Uh, the media has tried to make it out that Republicans didn't want to get to the bottom of this. The Republicans didn't want to be transparent. Uh, I can assure you Republicans want transparency more than Democrats. And we're going to do our job. We're going to provide oversight and I think that we've got an administration that wants to be transparent. So, I'm anxious to to get started with this and hopefully we'll be bringing people in very soon to uh depose them and interview them. And then James Comr was it last week. He held this whole hearing and it was all about Clinton and he was like, "We need him here so we can investigate the trafficking. We're we're he is integral
to our sex trafficking investigation." Okay. Well, he's wants to testify publicly. Let him testify publicly. And how dare you, James Comr and MAGA Republicans use sex trafficking as your way to try to distract from Donald Trump appearing in those files over again. Stop invoking the names of the victims and survivors while you defame them, while you malign them, while you leak their identities, while you retraumatize them. How dare you invoke their names as part of your Russianstyle propaganda? Oh, by the way, Putin's all over the files as well with Epstein. And most people after reading these files believe that Epstein was basically just running a compromot uh operation for Putin. But how dare you act like you're doing this for the victims? No, you're doing this to distract and try to deflect from the fact that Donald Trump is all over.
People know that Donald Trump's all over us. Like again, you think we're this dumb. Here was James Comr holding a hearing the other day saying, "We're going after Clinton." Play this clip. Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform meets to advance two resolutions recommending that the House of Representatives find former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with duly issued subpoenas. The committee does not take this action lightly, but subpoenas are not mere suggestions. They carry the force of law and require compliance. Former President Clinton and Secretary Clinton were legally required to appear for depositions before this committee. They refused.
As Democrat ranking member Garcia stated, and I quote, "Defying a congressional subpoena is highly illegal." End quote. He also stated, and I quote, "No one is above the law. Actions have consequences." Six months ago, Republicans and Democrats on the House Oversight Committee's federal law enforcement subcommittee unanimously approved deposition subpoenas for the Clintons by voice vote as part of our investigation into the federal government's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein and Gla Maxwell criminal cases. More than five months ago, I issued those bipartisan subpoenas.
The Clinton's testimony is critical to understanding Epstein's sex trafficking network and the ways he sought to curry favor and influence to shield himself from scrutiny. Their testimony may also inform how Congress can strengthen laws to better combat human trafficking. And then James Comr was on state regime media saying, "If the Clintons fail to comply, then we're going to hold them in contempt." Watch him with Maria Barter Roma, one of Fox's most vile propagandist. Here, play this clip.
Congressman, you you also in the House have taken a step closer to referring the Clintons, Bill and Hillary, for criminal charges. Why?
Well, they failed to to comply with the lawful subpoena, and the majority of Democrats on the House Oversight Committee agreed with the all the Republicans that they are not above the law and they should be held in contempt of Congress. We'll be voting on that for the full House next week. And I expect every Republican and a bunch of Democrats to vote for that.
Then remember that it was Donald Trump back in 2015. You know, his whole campaign, you know, in addition to attacking Mexican people and uh saying Russia hack into Hillary Clinton's emails that we all heard. One of the main things that he was saying is he's like, you know, Bill Clinton, he was all over that island. He's all over those files. Bad things are going to happen. By the way, at the same time that now we know from the files that Epstein was like talking about like meeting with people in Trump's administration and having all these conversations with Bannon. Here's what Trump was saying February of 2015. Here, play this clip right here. Uh, Bill Clinton,
nice guy. Uh, got a lot of problems coming up in my opinion with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein. A lot of problems. Here's what Caroline Levit had to say yesterday. I'll show you this clip also.
Thank you so much, Caroline. Yesterday, President Trump in the NBC interview said that it bothers me that somebody is going after Bill Clinton. That somebody is the House Oversight Chairman, James Comr, a Republican. Uh why is the president bothered that they're investigating Bill Clinton and his Epstein ties?
Look, I think that the president uh has respect for the former president of the United States, Bill Clinton. He said yesterday himself, uh, they've shared a good relationship and that's what he was reiterating in that NBC interview.
Here was the official message that, uh, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put out. For 6 months, we engaged Republicans on the oversight committee in good faith. We told them what we know under oath. They ignored all of it. They moved the goalpost and turned accountability into an exercise in distraction. So, let's stop the games. If you want this fight, James Comr, let's have it in public. You love to talk about transparency. There's nothing more transparent than a public hearing. Cameras on. We will be there.
And now, as former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Clinton are saying, Hillary Clinton saying, "We want to be there." Now, this is what you have happening right here. My view, it's utterly pathetic. I'll just show you, you know, this is what Trump's been saying like the whole week. Here he is again as you have all these MAGA senators and Congress members holding MAGA hats and Donald Trump's like, "Yeah, you know, um I I just I feel really bad for for Clinton that he's going to have to do this." I'm not sure why he should have to do it in public.
Okay, you should be the one testifying in public. Shouldn't again, I don't care what political party you are watching this. Bill Clinton says he wants to testify publicly and Hillary Clinton says they want to testify publicly and MAGA is now blocking that and they're panicked and they're terrified. Anyway, let's just play this clip.
Today we heard that the Clinton set deposition dates to testify before the House Oversight Committee. Any reaction to that related question?
I think it's a shame to be honest. I always liked him her. Yeah. One of She's a very capable woman. She was better in debating than some of the other people. I will tell you that she was smarter, smart woman. I hate to say it in many ways. I hate to see it, but you know, then I look at me, they went after me like uh you know, they wanted me to go to jail for the rest of my life. Then it turned out I was innocent, very innocent. You know, I had a friend that said I had a very smart friend, he's very wealthy man, knows the life, street wise guy. He said, "You have to be the most honest person anywhere in the world because there's never been anybody who's been examined up and down. You know, I have hundreds of thousands of pages of documents. Millions of pages. Millions of pages. With all of that, they found absolutely nothing wrong. Remember his tax returns? Oh, his tax returns. They fought for years and years.
And then the Supreme Court, I was surprised. They ruled I had to give my tax returns. I'm the only one that had to ever do that. But I had to give my tax returns. I gave my tax returns. They hired the best accounting firms in the world. They found nothing.
