The boys are back. Everyone's looking a little more tan, a little more rested. We've got a lot of things we want to talk about, but I wanted to start with the most important thing. PFT, I think you know what I'm going to say. Hank, any words for Sam Darnold? Got anything you want to say to Sam Darnold?

Congrats to Sam Darnold. Okay. Cuz I feel like we didn't really we didn't fully recap the Super Bowl, so anything you want to say about Sam Darnold?

No respect to him. I just wanted to go to you first to hear your voice, Hank. Did uh did Sam Darnold turn back into Sam Darnold?

I'm happy for Sam Darnold. Good guy. Elite quarterback. Elite. Elite. Elite. Top five.

If we put If we put Jaylen Herz in the top five, he's got to be in the top five.

Has to be. Has to be. Give me your top five. Drake May, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen,

Caleb Williams, Jane Daniels. Oh, wow. Okay. Okay. All right. Yeah, that's fine.

I agree. Yeah. Way to appease us. Turn it over. New label. We're We're We're We had some technical difficulties.

We had to pause for a sec. You said, "I'm so over all of this." Over all this. I was over

You're over it. Getting No, like I'm over getting mad. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Friendship. It's friendship time. I really

No, I meant No, no, no. I did not say I'm over this like I'm over this you guys. I meant I'm over like

getting mad about you guys trolling me about the ghost. And and by the way, the the troll was mostly because of your voice. I needed to hear your voice again. So, are you okay?

Same time I was at Disneyland. I was at Disney World. I was riding roller coasters screaming. I I lost my voice.

Yeah, the teacups. Teacups. Gotcha. Splash Mountain. Well, you could you could you know we could put you on a minutes restriction here. Load management. Uh we are back though. Where do we want to We have so many National Sports Podcast topics. Shall we start with

the fact that we had a All-Star game, a dunk contest, a three-point shootout where Damen Lillard won, who he's he's not even playing this year.

Um, but really the big story was Kevin Durant might have had another burner exposed. And it's [ __ ] awesome because while I we have no facts to back it up that it's truly him, I'm just going to choose to believe it's him because he has said that he still has a burner out there. And if this is the one, he's got a lot of He's got a lot of relationships to repair.

He's got takes. I don't know that he's got relationships to repair necessarily. He's just

listen the man, all he does is just talk [ __ ] And if he's not going to do it behind his own account, the KD Trey one, you know, he's open at least about the fact that he's got burners. So the burners are Get Off My Dickerson and Get Hire 777. Those are the two that that appear to have been allegedly exposed. I don't know that they're actually his. They sound like him. The best part in my opinion was the nickname that he gave to Westbrook.

Yeah. Called him triple double cocaine bear. Mhm. Which is the best nickname that I've ever heard. So like credit to Kevin Durant.

So you don't think he has anything to repair when he basically trashed the Rockets and said Shingun can't shoot or pass. And uh it's your fault. That's your future to the Rockets fans in this group chat.

I don't know. Listen, he might not be a Shinguner. I am a Shinguner. It sounds like he might have some piece to to repair with them. But uh listen, he he's gonna talk [ __ ] Kevin Durant's gonna talk [ __ ] online. I think you just can't put 100% stock in what he says.

The the craziest part about this is that so it all kind of broke during Allstar game. And again, we don't know if this is actually fact, but it's funny to run with it because it was a very funny story online. the fact that Kevin Durant in every single shot it felt like for 3 hours he was on his phone maybe doing crisis management or here's another theory I think there's a chance that Kevin Durant loves burner accounts and NBA Twitter so much he might have been on a third burner account talking [ __ ] about KD

like getting in on the on on the free clicks of how how how idiotic KD is like KD honestly He's rent free inside of all our heads right now. It's like we every rock we look under is that KD? Every person that replies to us online, that might be KD.

It's pretty awesome. He's got a singing ghost. And uh I mean he's a prolific poster. He's not going to ever give up the burner account life. That's something that we know about Kevin Durant. Um I don't think that he said anything too like too mean. Yeah, he would talked a little [ __ ] but it's not like

there was a couple that would that would that would probably be an awkward conversation. I think there was one that said like uh if uh ever since Steve Kerr got punched by MJ, he didn't he didn't [ __ ] with dark-kinned guys. That one, you know, like if he sees Steve Curry, he might have to have like a if this if this is truly him.

Yeah, he he did call uh Jabari uh mentally handicapped. So he like again these are his teammates right now. So again, it it

you you may think that it might be nothing, but if if it is confirmed to be him, I would imagine there could be a couple awkward conversations that take place afterwards. It's a little different than when his burner account was kind of just going after PE like random people on NBA Twitter. He could be talking just a tremendous amount of [ __ ] about his teammates in group chats.

You go to that one about voting. Why do people think this is true? Uh I don't I actually don't know. That's a good question, Hank. There is the one the the get off my Dickerson's uh profile picture is the same image that KD tweeted like five years ago.

It's the owl, right? It's the owl. Yeah. So, that one is a little bit weird, but yeah, it could it probably is just a Kevin Durant stand who's pretending to be him.

So, that's most likely what the cases. This one talking about uh Booker and Vogle, two dictators, Stalin and Hitler, Mousolini and Kim Jong-un. That might be Yeah, calling a guy Hitler. You might have to have a conversation.

That's what I'm saying. Like it's not there. It's a little bit different in that it I'm sure Kevin will be just fine, but there could be some awkward conversations.

I swear I miss Ben Simmons. At least that friend would give me the ball. The the the the potential KD Burner said about uh

what team was he on with Simmons? Uh the Nets. Shenuni said, "I'm going to turn the ball over with this shitty ass team. I don't give a [ __ ] Your franchise player can't shoot or defend. That's a way bigger issue than my turnovers. Remember, these guys are your future.

I have to imagine that every every NBA player is like this all the time. None of them seem very happy.

I actually I think there's no one like Kevin Durant. He is a one of one. The only guys that seem like they're happy are the Oklahoma City Thunder. Everybody else seems like there's there's something going on in their life that makes in theory being in the NBA would be the best job ever.

Yeah, I and you have nothing to worry about, but nobody is ever happy. Yeah, there's some guys that are happy. Steph Curry seems pretty happy. Steph Curry, shout out Steph Curry, good teammate. He uh did you see the report last week about the Kaminga trade and there was like the the entire there was a a big I think it was on Yahoo where someone wrote about everything that like transpired in the last few years with Kaminga and one of the nuggets in it was that there were complaints that Kaminga's uh family took too much food in the family uh like whatever suite area.

Yeah. and Steph Curry came out and was like, "That's ridiculous. This is [ __ ] up. That's a good teammate."

That's also like family. That's the stuff that family would actually argue about.

We shouldn't be food shaming. The the the other the the other thought I had when this all happened because it it came out before the All-Star game, which the All-Star game, credit to them, was kind of entertaining because a couple guys were actually trying. Anthony Edwards was trying.

We was trying. Jokic and and Luca were total zeros. They didn't even play in the last game. Uh, but the all the talk going into this weekend was the NBA All-Star game has hit like a new low. It's so bad. The three-point contest, the the dunk contest has guys that are, you know, if it weren't for uh who was it? Jace Richardson almost dying off hitting his head off the backboard and then getting concussed. There was no real memorable moment from the from the dunk contest. And then they were doing a new format for the All-Star game. So, could there be a chance that they were like, "Hey, let's leak a KD burner account so that we can if this All-Star game doesn't work out, we have something that that people are talking about. It's not it's not just the All-Star weekend sucks and tanking is ruining the NBA."

Maybe something kind of smart by them to share screenshots of online instead of Michael Jordan screenshots this weekend.

Listen, Michael Jordan won the Daytona 500. I don't know what you're talking about.

He did. He did. He won the Daytona. LeBron has not done that. Yeah. LeBron's never done.

Oh, speaking of LeBron, not that we're keeping track of any of these things, but did you know that LeBron uh broke a record today?

Did not know that. Yeah, he uh he's lost his 11th All-Star game, most of all time.

Wow. Wow. Very impressive. Yeah, but you got to get there. You got to get there if you're going to lose it.

So, is it Did every game today count though as a loss? I know. I know that they won, but So,

yeah, they did they did not end up winning the because they didn't win the overall. There were two losers. The the

Stars or Stripes and then the world. Got it. And then one of the Stars or Stripes won.

USA won. USA won. The good part of the USA. Yes. Big time. Big time. Love that. Good for us.

I did like Anthony Edwards being like, I haven't been on social media in three years.

Yeah, we know. Mhm. Yep. We we know, dude. We know. But yeah, that was uh there was a a lot of uh weird [ __ ] that came out. It's it's very funny like the KD he you can basically just anytime there's a lull just hit the KD burner, you know, controversy and and NBA Twitter just erupts in in everyone just having a great time.

Like I I think we've been pretty consistent about the All-Star game recently where if you get mad about the All-Star game, like what are you expecting? Yeah.

Like you have we have no real room to be upset with it anymore because it's been so bad for so long. I will say that that Mac Mlon not being in the dunk contest sucked.

He should have been in there. Well, so he actually chose not to. Yeah, but he should they should have made him go into

I hate that I I'm saying this, but I did read an entire feature on M. McClung today and he it kind of sucks. He basically decided not to do it because he's been almost boxed into being the dunk guy. And it talked about his journey being in GLeague, being in two-way contracts,

how after he won the first one, you know, Reggie Miller was saying, you know, uh, give this guy a contract and his his mom was talking to Adam Silver and he thought, hey, this is finally going to be the moment. None of that happened. And after three in a row, he was like, "This is not going to like help my, you know, help me get a contract. I need to just keep working on my game." So, I actually feel bad for he's become a prisoner of the dunk.

Yeah. But this happened multiple times in his career cuz he said in college he didn't dunk for an entire year because everyone wanted to talk about his dunks.

Right. But still, I think this show more than maybe any other show has talked about Mac. McClung outside of the dunk contest probably more than every other sports podcast combined. Yeah. He should be on an act. He should be playing in the NBA. But I especially need him during the dunk contest.

Yeah, but I feel I feel bad for like in the dunk contest. He said that uh if if he goes in then other guys will actually drop out because they know that he'll kick his ass.

Oh, we might have lost Jace Richardson. Yeah. Yeah. These guys might be afraid to compete against that.

No, no. I I felt bad for M. Ml. He's like, everyone just sees me as the dunk guy and I'm trying to make an NBA roster and it's not helping me. So, he he he did release the dunks that he would have done which would have been sick.

Yeah. But yeah, I I I I feel I'm happy that M. McClung was like, "You know what? You can't just use me for my dunks anymore." Because that was kind of what it was. It's like, "Hey, let's hit the M. McClung button so that we can have at least something to watch on Saturday night." He's like, "No, put me in the NBA and then I'll come back."

You know what? I'm going to join him. I'll go and strike from dunking until Mac McClung's on an NBA roster.

Will you join? Yeah, I'm in. Absolutely in. Memes? Actually, no. No promises. Oh, okay. You're going to dunk again or attempt? No promises

or talk about dunking for six. I'm willing to promise that I will not be dunking.

Okay. All right. Absolutely will not. I'm not making any promises. Not with that voice.

No. The We also had Adam Silver is maybe going to address tanking. He is uh there's going to maybe be a tournament among the lottery teams to determine draft order. I kind of like that.

I also don't my my rule that I came up with or actually I think our our our colleague and good friend Nick came up with it. If you what they need to do for all sports is if you don't reach a certain level of win percentage in consecutive years, you have to sell the team, which that would be awesome, too. If you win less than 20 games in the NBA for three years straight, you should have to sell the team.

I think that if uh if they're planning on doing this tournament, they're going to have all the lottery picks play against each other, and then the winner of that then gets the first pick.

Yeah. What is to stop a team that's going to be like, you know, bottom half the playoffs Yeah. from tanking to get to the lottery and then dominating that.

It's not well thought out. I don't think that's going to work at all. I think this is actually one of the worst ideas that he's had.

Yeah. What? No. What they should do it it feels pretty simple is that it should be like after March uh or whatever. Pick a random date and be like losing does no longer helps you. You know what I mean? Like like the the losses do not add to your right

to your lottery balls at this point. Arbitrary date and be like guess what? It's set. So I obviously that would just move tanking up maybe a little bit like earlier in the year. But yeah, it does suck right now that it seems like half the league is gonna or not half the league, but there's a quality like seven or eight teams are like we're just not even Jiren Jackson has knee surgery.

Yeah. Trade to the Jazz. There's certain teams that are that are ethically tanking.

Yeah. That are just honestly bad at playing basketball. Correct. Not because they're they're manipulating their roster in any weird way. Those teams I feel like they get absolutely [ __ ] There's only one way that you can really establish like a true turnaround in the NBA, and that's to either trade for a superstar somehow, have one fall into your lap. Uh it would be to be one of the like handful of five destinations that a top tier free agent would want to go to to build a franchise or just luck out in the draft lottery.

And it feels like this would be a really easy way for that to all kind of backfire and to have like average teams now tank just to get into the lottery then beat people's asses to get the number one overall pick.

Adam Silver did say that he would also consider getting rid of the draft and making all rookies free agents. That would be fascinating.

That is like Florio's wet dream, right? You know, Florio has been on this, he's been he's been spouting this for a long time that every college kid coming into the NBA or the NFL should be a free agent and then teams can allocate what they like

guys can come and be like, "Hey, I want to play for a winner. I'm going to take less money because of the cap,

but they can circumvent the cap." How? Trees. Trees. Trees. I forgot about the trees.

Shoe deals. Shoe deals. If that tree money doesn't come through, then you can just find a judge in Alabama. Mhm.

That'll let you go back to school. That's true. Or a judge in Alabama that won't let you go back to school.

Yeah, that's true. Yeah. A judge in Mississippi that will let you go back to school.

A judge in Alabama that won't let you go to school. Yep. Yeah. It's a good point, Hank.

Yeah. I mean, it would be interesting to see how it worked out. I I think it would make the league worse.

This is like when everyone's like, "We should pay college players." Then NL happened and

Yeah. And now here we are having one of the best college basketball seasons we've had in a really long time.

Yeah. And football season rock. The playoff was awesome. Never mind. No, there are some downsides. There's definitely some downsides.

I'm strongly against like I think N it's bad. But you think NIL is bad? I think it's it's reverse.

Bootlicker Hank. Let's go. No, never mind. Greatest college football season ever. Greatest college basketball season ever. the star player of Kansas doesn't even play because it's like his agents don't want him to play so he can get drafted higher.

That has because of drafting that that has nothing to do with NIL. And also honestly argue Yeah, you can honestly argue it would be worse if there was an NIL.

Yeah, cuz they at least get paid now. Like there's a lot of guys who are playing really hard because they're making a lot of money now.

All right, I was wrong. Sorry. No, no, it's okay. You want to talk about Sam Donald again?

No. It is good to just be like your voice is cracking. You just use the term, you know, nowadays with NIL that it just it just covers like everything that you don't like about the sport.

You're right that there are definitely some some bad side effects to NIL. It it there are some some moments where I mean it's hard to root for your college team now because guys change non-stop. NIL and basketball this year has like it has been an incredible basketball season, but yeah, there's some downside to NIL for sure. You're absolutely spot on. We're positive now. We're friends.

Yeah. You know what, Hank? I'd like for you, maybe with Zach, I'd like for you to design counterprogramming for next year's Barcel halftime show with Mincy. Do like your nonwoke Barstl halftime show.

That'd be cool. The one with Mincy was too woke. It was like all hippie hippie dippy drug use

that kind of [ __ ] What don't you I'm going to be there. What don't you like about Why are you going to be there?

I'll be at the game. Covering it. The Super Bowl. Yeah. Yeah. We'll be back. You want to bet?

No. Make a bet. Make a bet. You want to bet, you [ __ ] Make a bet. Nope. All right.

Make a bet. I'd bet you five bucks. I got a deal. But Hank, your point was correct that NIL has some very big downsides.

Apparently not. Best college football season. No. No. I was wrong. You were right. I'm

No, no, no, no, no. This college basketball season has been incredible. Uh, but there have been some some some parts of NIL that are head scratchers and really annoying.

You just used one example that didn't have anything to do with NIL. That was the only thing that

players getting paid. No, you use the Kansas guy as an example, but that's Yeah, because he has an agent.

I do think he's not playing because he has an agent. I do think he's not playing because he doesn't want to hurt his draft stock.

Who do you think is telling him to do that? You don't think that these guys have had a But you don't think they've had Yeah, they've had allowed,

but they're not real agents. Not real agents, but they had guys that were telling them what they were going to do,

but Okay. Yeah. But like you're hyp like you're saying they might sucks for he has an actual agent. and his agent who is looking out for his best interest to make money in the NBA is like, "Don't play."

Here's why I think that sucks. Not just him independently being like, "I shouldn't play."

Here's why I think that sucks right now is because the way that NIL is set up, you you're relying on a bunch of donations from like local business guys, famous boosters, alumni that are well off of the school that are going to try to pay to get you the best rosters possible. the second they start paying millions of dollars, we're talking like millions of dollars for a quarterback, millions of dollars for a star uh star basketball player, and those guys just take the money and don't pay don't play, then that money is going to dry up for NIL. So, like that does affect everybody and it sucks. Um, but it's not like guys weren't they didn't have agents that they would talk to beforehand and they would sometimes like we had guys sitting out bowl games because of college because of the draft stock. COVID was Yeah, there were guys sitting out for

Michael Parson sat out the full year. Yeah, Derek Stingley, didn't he sit out? Did he sit out?

He might have. I Yeah, I know Parsons did. Yeah. Either way, back to the NBA. I just love that uh going into the All-Star weekend, it was just all negative talk. I feel like everyone was just tanking. All-Star weekend sucks. You just got to get through February, get to the playoffs.

We had the uh the what if it was a black verse white game debate. Yeah, Nick Wright threw that out there. I like that. Yeah, we've had that. Who get who gets Steph Curry?

Cuz if we can get him for the third quarter, I don't know. I don't know. I think if we just got

If we had him for the third quarter, I like our odds. Yeah. Were there Were there American guys playing on the on the world team too today? Were there memes? What were the rosters?

Somebody Somebody was Cat's from New Jersey, but he's been on the team. He plays on He plays international. Yeah.

Yeah. So, I mean, listen, it was actually better than I thought it would be. This like this one, there was guys trying and there were moments where I was like, "Okay, this is actually a somewhat of a fix." But yeah, to your point, PFD, like we I'm done ever caring about the All the only All-Star game that still is cool or holds any relevance is the baseball All-Star game because you can still throw 99 and still try to hit a dong off someone. Yeah.

And even that, we had the controversy last year where half the team left and we had the swing off.

And we had the swing off. remember everyone was mad because like Aaron Judge was gone.

Yeah. Like Yeah. They're not going to care about Allstar games. Allar games, they're exhibitions. They're supposed to be fun. Kind of like that four nations thing that we had last year. Who

exactly knows who won that? You're not supposed to remember who won these things. It's just it it's something that will be on your TV to entertain you on a day in which there should not normally be sports on TV. Yes. So, just be glad that you get to see a hoop and a ball and then some guys that you recognize from other games and be like, "Oh, okay. This is a sport. Cool. I get to watch it. Maybe even bet on it." The other the only other NBA story I had was Chris Paul retired when we were on vacation. Um probably the worst retirement tour ever because he got cut from the Clippers and then his right sent to Toronto and he's like I think I'm just done.

I read another long I I had I had a flight today so I was I was doing some reading. No big deal. Not to brag, but uh basically what went wrong and it just was an entire article about Chris Paul just being the most annoying guy in the world to be around because he was he was brought in as a you know as a reserve player and he just tried to coach everyone.

Yeah. And and do team meetings after the first game of the season when they lost and and telling guys that, you know, they're not trying switching defensive adjustments and all this stuff. I kind of understand why the Clippers were like, "Hey, we can't do this anymore."

Yeah. They were they were like, "Uh, Chris Paul has just become the coach's right, guys. Let's all listen." Like he was a he was a narc. They never really trusted him.

No, it was the other way. That Chris Paul was a narc. No, but he was No, he was going he was going against the coaches,

but he was telling he was trying to coach himself. No, he was co he was saying like the coaches are wrong trying to coach the players and then

and the coaches were like, "Hey, we brought you in to just like be a reserve guy, be like a good go with the flow." He was trying to hold like he the one of the stories was they lost after the fir they got blown out in the first game of the season and Chris Paul they all get back to the locker room and Chris Paul wants to have like a discussion with the team about it and everyone's like no dude we don't want to do that. And then there was another one where was like he's trying to get guys to work out or like telling guys how to play. Um yeah, he just seems I think it's more credit I guess it would be credit to Chris Paul for having such a long career because he only knows one speed and that's to just be an insane competitive psycho all the time and they brought him in being like hey can you just be a chill guy for your last year and he couldn't do it. I don't think any anybody that's had that much

success would most people would not be good at accepting that role. But but there are guys like so there the story goes too that afterwards they had a a three-way facetime him Blake Griffin and um what's the what's the tall guy's name from those teams? DeAndre uh Jordan

and they so like they had maybe had a not they had a little icy relationship but has thawed recently the three of them and they all were kind of having a laugh because they all got screwed over by the Clippers at some point and just laughing about it.

Yeah. And it just like like uh Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan like he they they are able to play maybe not all like as starter minutes and be a positive influence to the team. Chris Paul can't like he just has to be Chris Paul. Yeah. at all times.

Yeah. I mean, he just didn't I don't I don't know. I I need to read this article and figure out more about what he did and didn't do because it seems to me like if you're getting Chris Paul on your team, you there's enough body of evidence to know what Chris Paul is going to be, right? Like it's not like this is something that just crept up. Correct.

While he was on the Clippers, they thought they had a plan and he's been bad before and a bad fit on other teams recently. Correct. and they're like, "This can work with us because of a reason

because it's his last year. We want to send him off, you know, in a nice way and all that stuff." But yeah, it's it just was never going to work. I think I think one of the quotes was just like he when he was a good player, he's a pain in the ass. Now that he's not a good player, he's still a pain in the ass. You can't have that.

Right. Because I haven't seen much from Chris Paul that's showed any mellowing out over the last years.

Correct. Correct. Yeah. Inside the ugly Chris Paul LA Clippers divorce that was from Ramona Shelurn. It was it was it was extensive extensive. I just love reading any of these stories after the fallout. Yeah.

And everyone being like, "Yeah, we saw this coming." So he was this was from an executive. He was a pain in the ass when he was a great player and now he's not a great player.

I guess he was a good teammate when he was on Spurs, right? Yeah, I think so. You didn't hear that much about him when he was in San Antonio. Yeah, I think it's more just it's hard to he he wants to be very involved when and it's hard if you're it's a the Clippers were a team with a lot of veterans who didn't need a Chris Paul telling like the Spurs are a young team so probably worked better.

So embrace debate. Is he on is he on the Mount Rushmore of the greatest of all time to not get a ring?

I mean he's one of the greatest point guards of all time that's for sure. So I don't know. Yeah, he might be. Hank

basketball probably. Yeah, he probably is. I'm trying to think of who else. Isaiah.

Isaiah. Which Isaiah? No. You know what? KD. KD. KD. Which Isaiah were you talking about?

Uh, I was about to refer to Isaiah Thomas, but then I realized that he did win a ring.

Two of them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. But I I had it mixed up with uh the dream team.

Got it. Not on the dream team. Wasn't on the dream team. Listen, we're coming back from vacation.

Coming back from vacation. Carl Malone, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, AI, Patrick Ewing.

Yeah, Steve Nash. He's definitely in that category. Chris Paul. Yeah, he's definitely uh up there with them. Great player, great point guard. We'll maybe have uh Rascilo on to do a full breakdown of how good Chris Paul was. He was 21 years in the NBA is crazy. That is a very long time.

It's a very, very long time. Okay, before we do some other stories, uh, quick break. Chevy, uh, football season might be over, but you know how it goes. is yours. Okay, what do you guys want to talk about next? I want to talk Olympics. We could talk Olympics.

I don't want to talk about Olympics yet. Okay, we do have to talk about Olympics.

We will talk about Olympics and those [ __ ] cheating [ __ ] from Canada. We will talk about the Olympics.

I want to talk about the Olympics. Okay. Well, you go ahead. Curling. Curling major drama.

I didn't see it. Okay. I didn't see it. I Who's to say? All right. So, here's uh

I saw the replay. It seems unclear. I I I did uh I did some leg work again. Like I said, I had a I had a long flight today, so I was prepping for the show. I got our uh expert I got a report from our expert, All Business Pete, on the curling controversy. So, I'm going to explain it to you how he explained it to me, and I think it actually makes sense. So, in curling, the first thing you got to know is it's a gentleman's sport in that you don't there are no like umpires. There are no refs. There are no umpires. There are guys that are there to help uh like settle disputes and and measure the rocks and all that [ __ ] but there's no official ref.

Okay. So, it's like community organizing. Yeah. So, you call your own fouls. You're supposed to You're not supposed to call fouls on the other team. You're supposed to call your own fouls. All that stuff. Now, the hog line, I believe, is that green line.

That's the hog line. That's the hog line. You are not allowed to touch the stone past the hog line. And this is something I didn't realize that Pete told me. That's very interesting. The You're not allowed to touch You're not supposed to touch the stone except for the holder piece. You're not supposed to touch the granite. There's

the handle. Yeah, the handle. Thank you, Hank. The handle. There's a sensor on the handle.

So, if you're holding this the the the handle past the hog line, there will be a sensor that goes off. That's why he's touching the granite because there's no sensor on the granite.

Mhm. And apparently everyone knew that Canada was cheating. Sweden had their own uh broadcast cameras basically set up on the hog line to catch them in the act. Then they called him out on it. And also you're not supposed to swear. That was the other thing I learned. You're not supposed to swear uh during curling. It's gentleman. So like the fact that the Canadian guy said [ __ ] off was disgusting. Like kids are watching.

All right. So I'm looking at this replay that they brought up. Yep. You zoomed in on it. I mean, who's to say

they cheat? And my my understanding is that there's no actual cheating in the sport because there's no rules in the sport.

Yeah. But there's it's a gentleman's it's sim similar to golf. So they found you're supposed to call your own fouls. Correct.

They found a loophole which is that if there's no actual refs, then people can cheat and get away with it.

Correct. But now they look like absolute [ __ ] Mhm. And Canada cheats. This is a bad look for Canada.

Big time bad look. Miss Canada as as a nation. I thought that they would be better than this.

I want to make sure I didn't miss anything. But yeah, it's uh it's good. It's controversy. It's good. Listen,

good for the sport. The US is good now, right, at curling? So, the US uh we need to get behind team USA because that was the other thing I got from Pete. I asked him how we're doing. He said the women's team has never won a medal and they're actually playing really well. And the men's team was the ninth out of 10th team to qualify. and they're also playing really well. So he was like, "It's tremendous team pride and and country pride." I said, "I don't root for losers. I want to win." He said, "Well, you have a national sports podcast. You need to get behind Team USA. Consider me right as this moment officially behind Team USA and curling.

Why don't we just cheat harder than Canada does?" Yeah, I don't know. I'm trying to make sure that I don't I didn't miss any. He sent me way too much [ __ ] He said and he said at the beginning it's it's really boring. So he he Pete's official call is for Canada to clean it up.

They need to clean up the cheating. They need to clean it up. Just clean it up. Tighten up the [ __ ]

Okay. All right. Hey, that's a fair call. Why don't they just do fights like it's it's hockey adjacent. You're on the ice.

Yep. Just settle it like men on the Is it a curling arena on the lanes? Yeah, the sheet of ice or something. I think I'm playing curling with Pete on.

Settle it on the lanes like a man. Yeah, they should. Just punch him in the face. He won't do it again. Take that finger, stick it, stick it up his ass. Even muttering the f- word to yourself would be considered a fauxpaw on curling. I just don't like the Canada sheets.

I guess Canada hasn't won a gold in like 10 years, too. And this is supposed to be their sport. So, they're getting frustrated.

It is a bad look for Canada as a whole, the reputation that we have. And it matters because what he's doing when he when he puts his finger on the granite is he's he's correcting his release.

You know what I mean? He's releasing the stone and then he's fixing it a little bit with the with the extra finger.

Yeah. Yeah. I feel like we've had this controversy before in curling. Like there there have been teams that have been accused of keeping the finger on the stone for too long, but it does seem like this was a setup by Sweden because they knew.

Oh yeah. No, they they did advanced scouting of Canada and they knew where to where to put all the cameras. It's kind of like they could have told them beforehand, we know that you're going to do it. Don't do it. But they almost would rather catch them.

Apparently expose them. Apparently Great Britain also had cameras set up. They all knew. So, Canada cheats. And that's our curling minute. Do we have any other Olympic stuff? I saw the guy going backwards down the

That was sick. That was so sick. Yeah. I just assume that's how all those like freestyle mogul races finish. You should have to go backwards at the end.

I'm ready for the hockey. I'm ready for the hockey like meaningful hockey games to happen. We we we won our first two games.

Three three games. Now we're in the the bracket phase. I'm ready. I'm ready for team Canada.

Austin, it's fun getting to root for Austin Matthews. Yeah, that's pretty cool. It's tough having to root against Tom Wilson. I'm gonna hate him.

It was funny watching Matthew Kachchuck say to Leon Dryside, "Always a bridesmaid."

Also, Brady Kachchuck met Elmo. Yeah. Did you see that? You said it was a unique opportunity to meet Elmo.

It is. I I don't even understand how that I don't understand what the context is of that.

They've already got their Why were they meeting Elmo? All right. Get Elmo and the the Muppets. They show up around these things all the time.

They're just They're just there. Yeah, Elmo's there. Elmo's always around. Brady Kachchuck called it a unique opportunity to meet Elmo.

Do we have a uh a mascot for these Olympics? The official mascots for Olympic games.

It's in Italy, right? They always crack me up. Yeah, it's just a big meatball. Is it?

That would be funny if it was just like Otto the orange meatball. What do you Max? You got to put on your

Find me that. I feel like that was anti-Italian discrimination by you not knowing that it was in Italy. How did you not know that?

I knew it was in Italy. I just couldn't remember. What is it? Torino. It's Milan. Milan. Milan. Milan. Torino was the last one.

There's two cities. Oh, it's split. Milan and where? I haven't watched a lot of the Olympics. I'm waiting for the hockey to get good.

The quad god. Did you see that? The US dominated today. This was the first one that I watched from start to finish.

Yeah, but I want the I want the knockout phase. I'm ready for the knockout phase cuz it wasn't the beginning of the hockey is like we're going to we're going to be in the knockout phase.

That's what I like about about the curling is the curling. It seems like it lasts from the very start to the very end of the Olympics. It's like always kind of on in the background.

Well, it's it's like they there's 10 teams and everyone plays each other and we're and then then there's a final four. Yeah. On starting on Thursday.

Oh, we do have an update to that Bathlete that apologized to his girlfriend for cheating on her.

Oh yeah. She said that she was not impressed and is not taking him back. Good for her.

Yeah. Girl power. Should have been a gold. She takes him back. So, we're playing Sweden or Latvia. That's our next our next game on Wednesday. We're going to crush them.

And then and then if we get to the finals, it's Saturday morning at or Sunday morning at 8 a.m.

Kind of love that. Love sports Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. It's good. It's real good.

Especially on foreign soil international. Love that [ __ ] Pumped. It It has to be US Canada.

It has to be this. If the Olympics, if they were anything like, you know, our our fancy American sports leagues or like FIFA, they would rig it to make sure that US and Canada played no matter what. I hope they do the right thing.

Yeah, I'd agree. Did you guys hear the crazy story from the Olympic Village? They're having sex again.

Yeah, this is a Listen, there's a few different rights of passage that you have every single Olympic Games. One is like a reporter complaining about their hotel room and like uh the the faucet was just installed and it just shoots out brown water and I'm gonna complain in it.

Yeah, there's wolves walking down the hallway. Uh there's usually a there's actually usually a curling controversy or an ice controversy like we've had this year and then there's uh sex talk with condoms

and then there's always some person being like, "Why is this a story every time?" And there really is no reason other than the fact that it's a bunch of uh super athletic early 20-year-olds living in a v. It's college. It's college with only hot bodies.

Yeah, they're going to [ __ ] It's ASU. They're definitely going to That's all it is.

It's ASU. That's what's happening in in Milan right now. So, everyone's just mogging each other.

Yeah. Well, who are these two mascots here? That would be Milo and Tina. Milo and Tina.

What are they? Otter. I don't know. What the [ __ ] are they? I Milan and Cortina.

Some I think that's where it's taking place. Uh I think they're climate changing weasels.

Okay. Oh no. Are they Are they related? Shame on you, Max. Climate changing we ch

Maybe a ferret. Ferrets. Climate weasels. If they're climate changing weasels, they get hot and cold.

It should have been a meatball. Little Italian flags. Should have been a meatball. I need to know more about the lore be behind these two. Are they brother or sister?

We're third. Why do they look different? Poland's mascot is a perogi. That's awesome.

They are brother and sister. Okay, good. Good. Okay. How come they look different? Different dad, different mom.

Uh older sister Tina represents the Olympic Winter Games. Younger brother Milo represents the Parolympics and has a limb difference.

Wait, so the one leg and uses his tail to I don't know. Yeah, for the paralympics. This is right. This is good. Yeah,

this is from NBC.com. Okay, so the the we're not laughing at him right now, but the younger one is an amputee.

He's lost a leg. His motto is obstacles are trampolines. Okay. While his sister lives by the words, "Dream big." That seems more dangerous for a parolympic, right? Yeah.

If all the obstacles were trampolines, do we know how he lost his leg? Is this a landmine

getting double bounced with only one leg? Yeah. on a trampoline. That That can't be fun.

That could be how he lost a leg, too. Yeah. By the way, the medal update, Norway's kicking everyone's ass. I don't care about the the silver and I bronze. I just want the gold. We're in third right now. Canada has one gold medal. Disgusting.

That's sad. Yeah. Really sad. Really [ __ ] sad. Milo and Tina. Tina could get it.

Yeah, I said it. What are they? What? Weasels. They're technically stos. A weaselike creature native to the Italian Alps.

They're cute as [ __ ] Sto. They're cute as [ __ ] All right. Any other Olympic stuff? I I still have yet to watch like a significant portion of the Olympics. I'm going to do it this week.

No. Their coats change color. Oh, in the summer they're brown and then in the winter they change to white. One way that Stokes adapt to their climate. This is a This is a fun art. How come we celebrate Stokes, but then we we lock Rachel Doolazelle up in prison?

Shout out to NBC. Fun article. What a Hank's got a take. Hank's brewing on a take and I want to hear it really bad.

Go. I want it so bad right now. You don't like You don't like other countries. Come on.

No. This is something This was a drunk This is a drunk take that Let's go. But the the conversation I think we did summer Olympics when we talk about Olympic sports you can medal in

Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I like this. The skeleton Yeah. is a joke. Well, I No, I think that's actually like proven fact that the average amount of person it take they have three years experience.

Yeah. I also think that the skeleton is terrifying. I also saw one tweet that said that. I have no idea if that's actually true. It was a reply tweet to someone being like, "What should I

Maybe we need to get a skeleton or a loser on here uh to tell us we're so wrong.

How do you even train?" That's my That is my biggest gripe with some of these sports. When you're watching Michael Phelps swim or Usain Bolt run, you're like, "That is the greatest runner or swimmer of all time, right? Like he's better than everyone." When I watch the best loser win by a fraction of a sec sec second, I'm like, well, that guy just decided to do luge. 99.9% of the world just doesn't do luge. It's like that dude,

why would we do luj? That dude's got a great helmet and a very fast suit and he's like a jockey, weighs the exact right amount, and that he trains occasionally. It doesn't feel like it requires that much skill, but it does seem scary as [ __ ] it. I think the only skill it requires is having a parent who's who's hellbent on getting their kid in the Olympics and they just throw them on a luge when they're kids.

Yeah, because I don't know how you I've never even been around a luge. No, I I haven't seen a luge track. Like, how do you get into the luge? How do you get into the skeleton?

Bob Sled seems like a [ __ ] good time cuz that's just you and the boys just like going down a hill.

Yeah. Yeah. Also one of the greatest movies of all time. Yeah, Bob Sled is legit.

So maybe that's the thing. Luj has to get a like sick movie. The skeleton. Is there a difference?

Yeah. Luj's feet first skeleton's head first, but same thing. Is it a thing that there's actually partners? Is

that not right? There's partner luge. I have no idea. I feel like it's all about your your equipment,

right? But that's like that's not and your get off. Get off. It's Well, that's Yeah. Cool.

We made jokes about sprint. It's just running fast to start. I mean, Cool Running's proved it,

right? We just got a bunch of sprinters and almost won the whole thing. We make jokes about like, you know, LeBron.

I don't think that that's true. I don't think that they almost won the whole thing.

Feel the rhyme. If they didn't crash at the very end, if they had a better if they had a better bobsled, they were they were breaking records.

But here's a here's a stone cold fact. Darice Banick was flying. If the University of Georgia wanted to correct, they could take their their guys that love to break the laws on the roads, put them on a bobsled track, and become a dynasty. Devon Achain would be the best loser of all time. Like give me a a not a super tall guy who's super fast.

Tyreek Hill, Brandon Aayuk. I think I also just realized all of our knowledge of this is based on cool running.

Correct. Like I was thinking I I was trying to explain it to Hank and we both were just saying that we we were both going back to cool.

You can't put weights in the bob site. Yeah. Can't do that otherwise they'll bust up John Candy.

Web stuff. I'm going to need you to bring up a uh video of doubles luge. Yeah, those guys just laying on

doubles luge is wild. That is wild. You talk about a wild sport. Look at that double luge.

I have to think that's got to be pretty that's got to be harder than normal luge at least like the balance of the guy on top.

But I watched it and I don't even understand. I actually did watch I I can't remember. I think it was women's luge and they were all they were all within like a a 0.05 05 seconds of each other. It's like I don't even understand how.

Like, oh, oh, she took that turn wrong. No, she didn't. She went fine down the turn.

Yeah, Bob Sled looks awesome to me. That guy's got his face in his ass. I'm pretty sure that was shot.

That was AI. That was AI. Is there uh Is there women's doubles luge? There's got to be.

I feel like it'd be faster if the guy on top was face down. Well, they should go 69.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They should 69 the double luch for sure. They don't have women's double luge.

That seems like a huge I'm not seeing women's double. That's kind of [ __ ] up.

Big time miss. Yeah. I'm also searching Twitter, which is I have a bad tendency to do.

That's okay. Yeah, this has been good Olympic talk. I feel like we've gotten a lot of women's double luge. Uh yeah, there's women's double luge. Italy won.

Good. Good. Yeah, it's the European countries all win these because I feel like that's like their third biggest sport. Like we have we have football, we have basketball, we have baseball, they have soccer, then like some ancient sport where they hit each other with a stick and then luch.

I feel like the basketball should be a winter Olympic sport. I don't hate that take.

I don't hate at all. It should just to get us another It should give us something to care about during the winter Olympics cuz right now we got hockey and that's pretty much it.

Yeah. And you know what? Long jump as well. Yeah, sure. Sure, you can do long jump in the snow.

Yeah. Yeah. Fencing. Gymnastics is also inside. That could be gymnastics. Why is fencing a summer Olympic sport?

I don't know. That's good Olympic talk. Good Olympic talk. Good Olympic talk. I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to watch some Olympics this week. I'm going to really get into it. I think I'm going to become a big curling.

And when I say that, I'm going to wa I'm going to if I remember to turn it on, I will.

Curling is tough. I I started to watch it this morning. It's botchi without the Italians, without a fat Italians having like busting each other's balls. That's really what it needs.

Botchi would be fun. Botchi would be fun. Botchi would be great. Yeah. Just some like old Italian guys just, you know, having the same bitter argument they've had every single week for 40 years straight.

Botchi should absolutely be in the summer. Now that's a summer Olympic sport. That's a definition of a summer sport.

Correct. So curling to me seems like it's a it's a sport that's normally played with a beer in your hand,

right? Uh yeah, maybe. No, botchi. You're thinking of botchi? No, but I know I know for a fact botchi, but it seems like curling would be the indoor equivalent.

How would you hold the broom? Yeah, you got to There's definitely some guys that that can hold the broom and the beer.

Or maybe you put your beer down while you do it. What if we did what if we did an Olympics, but it was all beer games?

Whoa. And then you have like different teams competing against it. Yeah. What would you call it?

Uh beer Olympics. games. Get like Bert and Shane to come. Mhm. Be [ __ ] sick. Be so sick.

I'm down. Okay. Any other uh national sport? Should we talk some college basketball? Was actually not the best Saturday. Although Texas Tech awesome win against Arizona. Um I I'll just say this. I I made Oh, I have two two topics I want to talk about, but I did make some future bets. I tweeted out when I made them, but I bet Florida 19 to1, Yukon 15 to1, and the Badgers at 150 to1 because the Badgers just keep slaying Giants and have had quite the week. And Max is the biggest Badger fan out there, which is great.

Max is well cuz Villanova beat Wisconsin in December. So every time good wins. So like

it's the better for the better Wisconsin does. It's like I was told I was told Villova I was told Villanova solid in

lock to get in. I think the Badgers are are solid in now. Yeah, we're I think we're both at an eight eight seed right now, which is still that's solid in.

I mean, it was awesome. Got 20 wins. Kicking the [ __ ] out of Michigan State was very very fun.

The other one was uh that foul in the Providence St. John's game. I Providence is I they got to get rid of Cam English because it feels like I love I love Providence Twitter, but it feels like Providence Twitter and this is not their fault because it's the fans, but Providence as a program has become way more about getting revenge than actually winning basketball games. Like, can't wait for Ed [ __ ] to come back to the dunk.

Can't wait for Bryce Hopkins to come back to the dunk and they just haven't won basketball games again. That's Kim English's fault. Well, we got to we got to get back to winning basketball games.

But when they when they lose, it's like they've got the real game coming up, dude.

It's like, how are we going to get revenge for this loss? That was that actually was a crazy foul because it it wasn't it was bad. The picture is is so much worse. For people who didn't see it, the picture of of B of uh Powell taking down Bryce Hopkins by the face and then they just they had a brawl and they let Powell just while the rest were figuring out, they ejected him and then he just stayed out on the court for like 20 minutes whooping up the crowd. So, that was an interesting move.

And listen, if you have that picture, if you have that haircut and you commit that foul,

just understand it's going to look a million times no one you're not going to get the benefit of any doubt. Hank, ready? NIL, back to your take. Good take. This was Duncan Powell who is on Providence for the first year. This is his first year uh playing for Providence. I think he's played for uh three more three other schools seeking vengeance because Bryce Hopkins transferred from Providence to St. John's and he's on his second school or another school. So, they never played together, but he's getting revenge. Makes no sense. It was a double reverse revenge game.

Makes no sense. Yeah, that was that was a hell of a foul. Hell of a foul. Hell of a foul. And then I I

Tang. Jerome Tang. Yeah. Uh I don't really understand the with cause part. It feels like it's going to be So wait, Duncan Powell, that was that was his this is his fourth team that he's playing on. So, uh, he's got to he's got to make sure that

for the Friars, he he, you know, this time it's personal. Yeah, this time it's personal. He's been on he's been on Providence.

He's bought in for for over four months. And that was that's Bryce Hopkins third team.

This dude's bought in. Classic rivalry. Yep. Fourth team guy versus third team guy. They never played together.

The Yeah. Jerome Tang. The with cause part is going to be interesting to see what happens. with cause. Sounds like they were saying, "Hey, Jerome, you might want to you might want to resign soon."

Yeah. And then he was like, "No, I don't think that I will." And they said, "Okay, well, we have for cause." And then Tang was like, "I don't believe that you do."

Mhm. And then they said, "Okay, we'll call your bluff." And now it's going to go to court.

Yeah. So that'll be fun. Yeah. That is going to be There's going to be a lot of rumors that float around out there.

I don't know. It could just be as simple as him trashing all the players the other night in the press conference.

Yeah. And then we also have So the language is anything that brings public disrepute, embarrassment, or ridicule to Kansas State. Yeah.

Which I guess could be how many inconference wins do they have right now? They're not very good.

One. Yeah. One. And that that brings ridicule to Kansas State. Well, they we have the like ultimate the reason why this college basketball season is good. It's two parts. One is that every there's like 10 teams that you could make the argument are national title worthy teams. Maybe not 10, but eight, let's call it. And the other part is just some of these teams are just picking off each other left and right in the funniest way. It's like Iowa State just Kansas beats Arizona on big Monday, which was an awesome game. Iowa State then loses to TCU on Tuesday. Then they play each other and Iowa State kicks the [ __ ] out of Kansas. Big 12 has been madness. Arizona's now lost two in a row after starting the season undefeated.

It's fun. I'm having fun. What'd you learn about the bubble there, Max? You just did a little

uh right now, according to ESPN, Wisconsin is a should be in. I mean, we have two of You could make the argument two of the best two of the best wins. We We've beaten three top 10 teams, two of them on the road. Michigan's only loss

and then Villanovva Villanova lock according to lock I'm not saying that but they are

is down huh yeah only three teams are three teams are locks zero teams are should be in Satan Hall has work to do and that's it

poor pug I hope so they started off so hot they started off so hot guys I was so bummed out there was no football today

I saw Pug's tweet yeah I saw that too and it made me sad Yeah. Really sad. Yeah. Although it's good to have a little break.

It is. It's good to take. If you told me next week was week one, I'd be in, but I needed one weekend.

Yeah. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Where's Miami of Ohio? Where are they ranked right now?

They are 23rd, I believe. 23rd. They're in the weird spot of being a MAC team where I they should be okay, but it's going to be [ __ ] because if they trip up and don't win the conference tournament, it's just going to be [ __ ] I'm already pretty mad about it. They're fun team. I'm pretty mad about it.

Big Ben won't let that happen. Yeah. So, Big Ben uh turns out he might not be the best guy.

No, I don't I don't want to hear that. Why Why was that such a story other than I mean Jer Joey Porter he he said something that we all know and it doesn't and then it just got the message got weirdly changed to like Big Ben wasn't good. Big Ben was really good.

Big Ben was awesome. Really good at football. Like until the last I'd say two, three seasons,

Big Ben, he was incredible. So much better of a football player than human being and we all knew that.

Yeah. And nothing changed. Yeah. I know there the a lot of people are uh doing the Big Ben got carried to a Super Bowl, his first Super Bowl. I'm pretty sure his

uh That's true. His first Super Bowl. Yes. No, but I'm I'm pretty sure he balled out in the games before the actual Super Bowl. Yes. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the games before that he balled out pretty like he was pretty damn good.

Game against the Seahawks, he did not play well and he had that um but he did have that game- saving tackle against the Colts. You remember that?

Yeah, he went I mean he went uh seven touchdowns, one interception in the three games leading up to the Super Bowl.

Yeah, that tackle that he had after that goal line fumble that got that was everything for the Steelers. AFC Championship game. He's 21 for 29, 275 yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions.

Yeah. And the uh the second Super Bowl against the Cardinals. Incredible game. That was one of the best games ever.

Yeah. Yeah. So, Big Ben though, not a good guy. So, Big Ben, we do need to have you stand up for Miami of Ohio just in case things go off the rails.

We need Big Ben, stand back. Stand by. Big Ben definitely. So, he went to this bull riding thing in Pittsburgh.

Mhm. This weekend. He definitely went to it just to do a little pulse check, be like, "People still love me, right?" And they do in Pittsburgh.

Oh, yeah. And just like to talk to I don't think it's a problem. He probably did it just to talk to the other Cowboys and be like, "So, uh, what what injuries do you have?"

Yeah. Yeah, I had that. Yeah, I had that. Yeah, I had that one. Oh, this seems pretty easy.

Yeah, I had that. He just wanted swap war stories. Yeah, absolutely. Okay, do we have any other stories before we do uh who's back of the week? And then we'll get to Jameus. Oh, congrats Hank on the four aces.

Yeah. Was that your who's back of the week or [ __ ] All right. So then congrats Hank on uh us not being mad about the Australia game because it might be on a Wednesday and we're down for that. So they might go Wednesday, Thursday to start the NFL season.

If it's Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, college Saturday, NFL Sunday, that would be awesome.

I don't think they're going to do Wednesday Thursday Friday. Why not? I don't know. Why would Yeah, they would. They already do Thursday, Friday.

Yeah. What's a little Wednesday in there? I just think they swap the Friday to the Wednesday.

Wednesday night football is Friday doesn't Friday isn't the best for ratings. It's

I agree. I would love it. Better than zero. Start the season without the Champs.

That would piss me off. Yeah. No, but they do th they they can do Thursday in Australia,

right? But that then is that also [ __ ] that Wednesday is for the is for the Seahawks? Would you feel a little slighted?

No, that'd be great. You got an extra day of rest for week two. But in terms of like circumstance of, you know, Wednesday night football,

no. But no, here's the thing. If you I'd feel a little sighted. I think what whichever teams it's going to be the Rams and the 49ers playing over in Australia, right? In Melbourne,

that game has to be on on Wednesday night. It has to because they're gonna be playing it Thursday night Australia time. It'll be on Wednesday and then the flight back for those two teams is 16 hours.

Yeah. Yeah. We talked about this start the season with they're going to need to give them

plenty of rest. I don't think that they're going to put the Seahawks on Wednesday and then move them to one day later in Australia.

I think this is guarante Yes. So then that's [ __ ] for the Seahawks. They don't open the season.

Yeah. Yeah. That would be [ __ ] Uh, I think this all may I could be proven very wrong, but I think the Bears are gonna I think they're gonna put the Bears Seahawks because now if the Rams and 49ers are playing in Australia, it would make sense if it was Rams Seahawks, but we're on the Seahawks schedule in Seattle. So, I think they're going to do that.

Cowboys maybe just get ready for all the prime time games, which I do not want.

Yeah, look up the I know the Patriots are on their schedule as well. Super Bowl rematch.

Super Bowl rematch. You'd have to We'd have to ask you about Sam Darnold. I'm betting the Patriots because you guys ran out that fourth quarter from from Drake May was unreal. Just starting to heat up.

Oh, well, no Chiefs cuz Mahomes going to be back. So, yeah, it's I think it's going to be the Bears.

So, it could be the Cowboys, the Chargers. I don't think they'll do Super Bowl rematch because Super Bowl wasn't like great.

The Bears wasn't like an instant classic. Cowboys, Chargers, Bears. Those are those are my three picks. You got to pick one.

I'll go Cowboys. I I'm going to bet that they they smash the Cowboys button. They might smash that. Sunday Night Football.

That's true. They love doing that. Cowboys Giants. Sunday Night Football. They love that.

They love that [ __ ] They love that [ __ ] Here we are talking about talking about football. Feels good. Okay, who's back of the week? Let's do who's back of the week. Then we'll get to Jamus. Good good Olympics talk. Maybe we'll come. How about everyone uh for Wednesday's show? Let's all come with a fact on a certain sport, a specific sport from the Winter Olympics.

Okay? You know what I'm saying? But we'll divide it on the group text. So So there's no But let's let's all come with with a maybe a little story about uh whatever sport you choose.

So no double dipping. No double dipping. What are we doing? We're going to do a little uh homework Wednesday's show. Everyone come with a little something about a sport, a winter Olympic sport. You pick one and you just dive in for a minute.

All right. I mean, don't have to do a lot. It has to be one that is is currently still going.

Yes. Yeah. That's coming up for let's let's say it's going to be on Wednesday or Thursday so that we can preview it.

A metal like a metal match. Yeah. We're going to need a schedule to to figure this out.

Yeah, we can handle that. Yeah, that that homework assignment almost crushed it.

No, no, no, no, no. Just look at uh Jeffy Lewis. He's got you. I put in a bunch of bets before I went to Florida and none of them have happened.

Yeah, I love when that happens. Like I was like, "All right, I'll I'll have some action."

I once did that when I had a when I had a bookie like 15 years ago. I put in a cricket game that was like a year away. What? I thought I was I thought I was betting it like overnight to wake up to it. Oh, this sucks. Okay. Uh, who's back the week? Brought to you by our friends at Twisted Tea. My Who's back of the week is Anthony Kim and the four aces. Yeah, I didn't know he was on the four aces.

Oh, Hank's he's impact free agent. Yeah, Patrick Reed left very Oh, this is tough.

Yeah, getting choked up with emotion for his beloved 48. Four aces has got to finally did it. I mean, honestly, this is one of the coolest stories in the history of sports.

Why don't you take tomorrow off? Patrick Reed Yeah. left. Okay. Two weeks ago, same time as like right right after Brooks.

He's not going back to the PGA tour. He's trying to go DP tour route. I' This has been happen to me every day. The more I talk, my voice is

When did you lose your voice? On Thursday. That's a long time ago. Friday. I didn't talk much and then I started to talk a little bit and then it I lost it. Same with yesterday. Same with today.

Come on. A Should we slow clap for you? This is Anthony Kim's first week as a four.

Yeah. Okay. He's replacing Patrick Reed. So, it's Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and then the two Toms, the Tom Towers, Thomas Peters, Thomas Dietri, uh, and Anthony Kim won. He beat John Rom, Bryson Shambo.

Yeah. Wow. And he had to grind his way back to even playing on the Live Tour, right?

Yeah. He got kicked off basically for not performing well enough. And then they have their version of Q School where it's like, you know, 60 golfers, three guys. If you finish the top three, you get your card, right?

And he won or he came in third just to keep his card. So, he was a very close, you know, a couple shots here, a couple shots there. He's not even on live and then he won this event.

Good for him. All time comeback story. Very cool. All time. Huge for the four aces.

What What is he coming back from? Uh cocaine. Okay. And an Achilles and some Okay. But mostly

and being retired for like 10 years because of the Achilles injury. Got it. Yeah.

Got it. That's what an inspiration for. It is inspiring. I mean, he he he has like there's there's I read I read an article on on the way back about, you know his

past and when he quit golf and why he stopped and his like substance abuse issues and then getting sober, he had a daughter and, you know, his daughter basically gave him a purpose in life and

Oh, interesting. He post, you know, he post. So golf wasn't his purpose. His kid was

Yeah. Well, he had a dad like he had a tough childhood where his dad was, you know, kind of kind of he

kid over golf. No, I mean a kid made him want to golf more. Yeah. No, that's a great point, Hank. The kid made him want to focus on life to improve his golf game to provide a better life for his own kid.

Got it. Yeah. Got it. Yeah. Very cool story. Very cool perspective. And it's it's interesting people are asking like, are the four aces better without

Patrick Reed? Yeah. I I I don't want the other guy. He's Oh, then Dustin Johnson

or is he still on the aces? Dustin Johnson's the captain of the Okay, he's the What are you talking about?

He's the ace of ace of spades. Wait, there are five aces. No, there's four. Anthony Kim, Tom Powers,

Tom Peters. No, I know, but it's the the Tom Towers. Tom Towers and Anthony Kim.

And Tom's teacher. Yeah, he's part of Tom Towers. Two times two times, Dustin. Anthony.

Got it. How many minutes do you think we've talked about just the four aces? A lot.

Well, it's got to be over 100. Well, now that now that Brooks is gone, it's like I was I was we were actually watching live a lot this weekend cuz it was on at night and Brooks not being in it staying up late ruin the le the the luster. And that was on like, you know, sports time, sports watching time.

Uh, right. What's sports? Well, sports watching time never ends because we got international night time and morning.

Yeah, but like for I like to watch sports at night. Yeah. Well, and morning. No, I'm done.

NFL done. Oh, yeah. That's right. That's right. And you can tell that Hank just recently like the Tom Towers. That's a new thing that he a pneumonic device he came up with recently to try to remember.

How do I remember both Toms? Yeah. No. Yeah, cuz one of my friends asked me and I forgot.

You're proud of the Tom Towers, though. I forgot one. We can't we cannot have either of these Toms leave the four aces.

Also, we need to find out the Tom towers. I I need to know how tall the Tom Towers are. Like, are they actually tall?

Dude, if one of the Toms leaves the four aces, Hank is going to be so [ __ ] 6'5. Okay.

Oh, yeah. And then the other is Thomas Dietri. Let's get him. He better be tall.

Both from Belgium. 62. Yeah. Tom. Peter Uline was a four ace for life for me and like him because I said that and I was like [ __ ]

It's not your grandfather's four aces anymore. This is four aces but louder. Yeah.

Okay. PFTD your who's back of the week. Uh my who's back of the week is the NFL union report cards.

Yeah. The NFL PA report cards because so the judge ruled that uh the report cards were too mean and they were being very very disrespectful and unfair and nasty to Mr. Woody Johnson. So, they're not allowed to put out the report cards this year, at least not through the media. Um, but the upshot of this was through the arbitration and the deliberation, the guy in his decision ended up quoting directly from the upcoming 2025 NFL team report cards in his decision to not allow them to release the report cards.

Okay. So, we did get some of the report cards. Oh, even though they're not allowed to put the report cards out.

Got it. Does that make sense? I don't I don't even know if that makes sense, but that's how it happened. Um, so memes, you were upset because you thought that they were going to silence all the players talking about Woody Johnson. Not the case. We've got some Woody Johnson content for you if you'd like to hear. How did the Jets do? Okay. New York Jets. The union said players complained that management responded to feedback from the prior team report card by making conditions worse, including cutting the food budget, not retaining a longtime dietician after poor food grades the prior year. The union also graded owner Woody Johnson an F, the lowest owner rating in the league, 5.58 out of 10, which according to players resulted from his perceived unwillingness to invest in facilities.

Players cited perceived top leadership issues with some describing issues as top- down problems reflecting ownership concerns. So Woody Johnson took all the stuff that he got made fun of for last year and he responded by by being like, "Oh yeah, you haven't begun to see how shitty I can get. I'm going to make it all worse."

Okay. Um so at least you got some some notification of Woody Johnson being a uh giant [ __ ] out in the media anyways. Memes

feel good. Memes, you okay? Memes. No, Woody Johnson just you know he's got to go. He's got to die.

He's gotta die. He's gotta um memes. I thought you'd be I thought you'd be glad.

I mean, not really. Nothing's going to change. But isn't this what you wanted? You wanted more people talking about this. He's in the Epstein files. You want people to talk about that?

Yeah, but nobody's talking about that. We are right now. They're only talking about Tish.

National Sports Podcast. We got to talk about it more. People are only reporting on Tish from the Giants.

Yeah. Yeah. And they're only reporting about food for the Jets. What else should they be reporting on?

He's in the files. Yeah. He's in them. Yeah. There was one email that was like, "The Jets just lost a

mean to laugh, but it's so clear that memes has gone through all the files. He's seen every file just to look. He's doing control F for Woody Johnson." I think the funniest one was the the email was like Jets just lost to the Dolphins on Woody's birthday and he's he's he's not happy right now. Yeah.

And like that's just how the decisions get made in the Jets and they're like he'll just take the food away because they lost to the Dolphins.

Yeah. And so he's just letting letting Jeff know about this. I kind Listen memes. It sucks because it's the Jets. It's your team. But I I would if I was an owner of NFL team, I don't know if I'd run it much differently. Like I think I'd probably do kind of [ __ ] like that. Like, yeah, you know what? We lost. [ __ ] you guys. We're not We're not ice cream machine closed for the day.

Yeah. When you put it that way, they are all they do is lose, so you got to take stuff away,

right? Exactly. Like, I think I would probably do [ __ ] like that or like, you know, have my son decide the coaching decisions based off his Xbox season.

Yeah. But Brick Johnson, to his credit, Dvonte Adams, good wide receiver. Fair.

Yeah. Yeah. Very good. It's a great decision. What about the other guys on on Aaron Rogers wish list? They're pretty good, too.

Yeah, but that's Aaron Rogers. That's not Brick Johnson. Who's Whose idea was to get Aaron Rogers?

That was probably Brick. That's probably Bob. We'll go Bob with that one. We'll go Bob. [ __ ] you, Bob.

Yeah, [ __ ] you. Uh, we also have some stuff in this report from the Eagles. The union highlighted that players are frustrated that meal times overlap with the organization's business staff, leading to crowding and limited seats and feel they should get first class seats on team flights instead of the coaching staff.

What do you think about that, Max? I kind of agree with that. Why aren't I don't understand why that

coaches, guess what? It's in your name. You sit coach. I got a question pretty cut and dry. Why Why don't the team plane Why don't the team owners just have planes that are just all first class?

I I'm not I thought that's how it went. I I don't think it does. I That makes no sense to me, though. Have it be make the whole plane out of first class.

You can't do that. Why not? There's no way they're going three deep. No, they're not going three deep. I bet you they all get their own rows.

What's the difference between that and first class? uh a big difference because if [ __ ] if you put the your seat back you're [ __ ] You're still scrunched.

Nobody would ever put their seat back in coach and then lay across there's like a scrunch there. There's no way that

there's a huge difference between we're we're looking at this like it's like the United from Chicago to

I think it is to New York. There's no way. Yeah, I think it is. There's no way. I think it depends on which which team

Eagles team plane I think if you're if you're doing well like Robert Craft has a nice jet

Philadelphia Philadelphia Phil Philadelphia Eagles utilize American Airlines as their official charter partner for team travel frequently using large aircraft like Boeing uh trip 7s.

Yeah. Yeah. They're just using regular planes. That's crazy to me. I don't understand how a NFL team

that does not look like a regular plane. What? Planes are expensive as [ __ ] Yeah, because it's got Eagles. How How much?

It's two. I think I could probably get you 7 for uh I'm just going to guess 55 mil.

Uh trip 7 cost 400 50 mil. That's [ __ ] We got one for free from guitar pre-owned. You can get it for 15 mil.

Yeah, there you go. Of course. I'm not talking like straight off the assembly line. Take me down to the boneyard. I'll get you one for

the trip. The the new variant is is 440 mil. Yeah, we're not getting a new Make the whole plane first class for the boys.

You're not getting a new plane for a football team. Those guys are just going to chew it up.

Yeah, true. Okay. My um my who's back is uh Michael Jordan because he won the Daytona 500. No big deal.

Okay. Good job, Mike. And then he and then he happened to know a young uh kid who was probably his friend's kid and he grabbed his shirt a few times

and people are freaking out grabbing his shirt. Max is sitting there watching it with his just disgusting allegations by

I mean he's putting a finger up THIS NO, HE'S NOT. HE IS NOT. He's grabbing his shirt, Max. And it's probably a kitty nose. It's like you when you

That's That's cool. No, but uh listen, if you have if you have kids and you have friends who have kids, you wrestle with the kids, he's grabbing his shirt. You guys are being weirdos.

I mean, I I understand the horseplay excuse. I don't know that it seems like aggressive horse play.

He's grabbing his shirt and you don't think it matters that it's his friend's kids? It's a kid he knows. It definitely matters.

Yeah, if it's a complete stranger, that's that's the difference. That's like that. That's guy that guy's son. He's grabbing his shirt.

Also, his shirt. This kind of sucks for that kid that this video is now out there everywhere.

MJ touched him. What are the boys doing in here? It's way too early to be in here, boys. Way too early to be in here. Way too early to be in here. But they can be in here if they want to be in here. But it's way too early.

No, this is like We still got Zack to do who's back. Then we got to do ads and we could do vacation talk. But you can come in.

This is like the worst thing to happen to this kid. It's bad that that this video is everywhere. Like the kid that was on the Nirvana album cover, he says that's the worst thing that's ever happened to him in his life. All the kids that hung out with Michael Jackson that they even said nothing bad happened to them.

All right, now we're getting crazy compared to Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson was never convicted of anything.

This is th this kid, his dad is probably a billionaire. He's going to be okay. I'm just saying not a great day for that kid. All things considered, you would rather not have

He's like four. That video out of you as a kid. I don't even know if people know. He's like four.

Okay. You Max Max was like, "Hey, did you see this? MJ's got his People were talking about it ass." And I watched it not even close.

Pe people were talking about it. It had to be talked about. Well, we talked about it.

It's a bad look. He's grabbing his shirt. It's a bad look. He's grabbing his shirt.

I don't think he's actually He's grabbing his shirt. He's trying to be his butt.

Wild Uncle Mike. He's grabbing his shirt. All right, Zach. My my who's back of the week this week are just giving me an update for you guys. Uh we we talked uh we talked golden auction a couple weeks ago. You guys remember that? We're talking uh PSA 10 Pokemon Illustrator cards. We we got a final

said that word way too fast. Oh, which uh we after the golden auction? Oh. Uh, the uh uh the PSA 10 uh Pikachu Illustrator card from WWE wrestler Logan Paul. We we just had a f the sale went down.

How much? Uh 13 million. Holy [ __ ] I think he bought it for like 5.1 in 2022.

Did he scam a bunch of his fans? I think those are those might be different controversies. I think those are digital scams.

Okay, that was NFT situ uh situation. Did he not sell ownership of this exact card? like the digital NFT ownership, I believe, but not the physical tangible ownership.

Was Was Logan Paul the one with the the clip with Brady? Yeah, very clear. That was the most choreographed fakest clip ever that people were like, "Oh my god, look at this.

They're they have a flag football game in in Saudi Arabia." Yeah. Listen, I'm an athlete, okay? Listen,

I can't believe people actually thought that was a real conversation. Wow. Tom Brady just pressed Logan Paul.

Yeah. All right. So he sold it for 12.5 million. Yeah. I think the auction went in like over a little bit overtime for like 13.

Who Who's buying this? That was That's my biggest question is like where do you put this? Like do do you do you buy it to then go sell it in a couple more years and think you're going to get like 36 million.

Yeah, I guess. I think you just buy it knowing that you can scam a lot of people with this card

with like with counterfeit ones. You can do so you can run back the same scams that

Oh, same playbook that Logan Paul was running and now you're making money every year on the old scams.

Yeah. Are you a uh Zach, are you a card collector? Uh I'm not a card collector. I enjoy doing like the pack rips. My My brother's a card collector. I I'll like open the packs with them. I like the chase of it, but not the collecting aspect.

It is fun. It is fun. Like the blind boxes are so much fun. So much fun because you just It could be anything.

Anything. Literally anything. It could be a Pokemon Illustrator. It could be the worst thing ever or generational wealth.

Yeah. Mhm. Okay. Good job. Good job. Uh, Zack and just a digital scam. So, not a real scam.

Yeah, I think a lot of it was digitally scamming, not phys. Okay. So, so it's not it's that not a big deal. Digital scam.

And it might have been like I think it's like like blockchain scam. So, it's like deregulated scam.

Got it. Got it. Okay. I think it's still scam though. Yeah. No, it is. No, it doesn't make it any better. We're just We're just clearing up the

Yeah. Yeah. But if you say digital before PFT, it's fine. It's a digital scam. Okay, let's get uh let's let's do a couple ads. And we have Jameus Winston. Okay. We now welcome on a very very very very very special guest. One of our absolute favorites. It is Jameus Winston here with us. It is uh we're taping this on Thursday before the Super Bowl. We're running it after the Super Bowl. But you're here with Madden. Let's start with that. Who's going to be on the cover and why should it be you? It should be you. I wish I did have the opportunity to be on the cover. First off, I'm so happy and grateful to be with you two yet again.

Yes. Every time we unite, we make masterpieces. Yes. And I'm grateful for that.

You glasses, too. Thank you. Thank you. Are those new? These are metas. Oh, they are. Are you taping us right now?

I'm not I'm not taping you. You can if you want. I'll tape you. You tape me. Okay. Thank you.

Yeah. Yeah. Let's do it. It's a tape. Bang. Yeah. Mine's Mine's Mine's dead. Oh, okay. I need my I need my charger.

Yeah. But you still can record me. But thank you. All right. So, you're you're not going to be on the cover. You should be on the cover. I

I would love to be uh on the cover, but I I don't know who's going to be on the cover. Like like this year, I feel like Jir Gibbs was the most exciting player that I've seen. Like with my with my two eyes,

but outside of that, like I don't I'm not just going to say, "Hey, put Stafford on the cover." Yeah.

Because he's like in the MVP running. Like I feel like back in the day, like the cover used to actually mean something.

Yeah. You got to get it. Yeah. So, we got to get I mean Drake May would probably be if he wins the Super Bowl.

JSN. JSN would be a good one. Yeah. Like because he he been balling a guy, you know, Cam Scataboo.

Oh my gosh. Already. That'd be a fun. He's definitely going to be on the cover very soon.

Yeah. All right. But I six games and make the cover, right? But it was an impactful six. It was the most impactful six games ever.

Yeah. Yeah. I want to sit I want to play with Cam Scataboo as like my running back. He should definitely probably get a 99 just because the energy and violence that he like he is so dumb.

What was he like when you first met him and you're like, "Oh man, this this cat's different."

Man, one thing about him and Jackson and and Abdul, they were the most confident kids. And I say kids because they look like freaking kids.

Yeah. Right. Like that I ever met in my life. Right. They just walk into the NFL locker room like they're certain of themselves. Cam is yelling at people already. He doesn't really care if you're a 12-year vet or if you're a rookie with him. I just remember him and Abdul Carter about to get into a freaking fist fight because of draft status.

Yeah. Because Cam thought he should be drafted higher and Abdullah was he he wasn't worried about Cam because he went drafted in his position. Yeah.

Right. So, it it was just uh it was a beautiful thing to see seeing the new wave of football with all the NIL and I and I feel like the the young athlete is is being blessed with so many early opportunities, but to have three rookies that were are very good come in and be obsessed with football,

like I was I was taken away by that. Yeah. And listen, I I am not joking when I say you should be on the cover. And I think you know exactly the moment you should be on the cover for the touchdown against the Lions which was I wish I we got to find the clip in the gambling cave because we were losing our minds. Can you walk us through that play and like it was the best touchdown of the year. I'm going to say it right now.

Yes, it was the best play of the year. Uh NFL honors, you should definitely uh acknowledge that. But anyways, I I just when the play was called, I looked over to the sideline. I was like, I've been waiting for this moment. Right. So, we called a double reverse pass and I see the uh the linebacker, he has his eyes on me, so he's playing really good. Like, he he's having great eye discipline, but as I get behind him, like I throw my hand up because I'm like, "Gun, like the ball should have been up by now, not knowing that he's extending the play back there. He throws the ball up." One thing about a quarterback position,

you give your receiver a chance football. Yes. Right. A receiver has never caught a ball that's out of bounds and he don't have a chance. So, he gave me a chance. I came back to the ball. I turned around. I gave him a little doop doop. You know what I'm saying? That little one, two. I put him in the dirt and I finished with a nice finger roll.

Yeah. You know, you were ready for that. I I was upset cuz the camera the camera cut away from your your celebration too soon on that one.

Yeah. I mean, it it was um it was something that was premeditated. I knew I was going to do that celebration. I practiced that celebration in the dinner room the night before. I got confirmation from my Detroit brothers, Devin Funes and Nick Jones, that I could do this celebration cuz it was really a Detroit dance called the the boss up. The boss the walk was Motown. You know what I'm saying? Walking down the soul train line. But the dance was called the boss up. So I was bossing up on the Detroit Lions.

It was great. It was it was a beautiful moment. We loved it. And then afterwards you're like, I'll play tight end if you want me to. Yeah,

I'll line up at tight end. I I think a lot of guys would say that. I think you actually would line up at tight end.

Man, I I have clips training, running routes. Like this is not something that I'm just talking about. Like I'm I'm obsessed with this game. I love what I do. And if I had to play tight end, I would, but I like playing quarterback.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, we need you to we need you to get back that out there on the field. Uh, who knows what the next couple months is going to bring. I think that a lot of people are talking about you as potentially being a free agent again. Um, have you thought about that? Have you thought about what you're what you would ideally like to do next year?

Yeah, start. That's that's ideally, but uh I'm I'm I'm locked in with the Giants for one more year

uh under contract. So, that's exciting to go into a year primarily for family, right? like my wife, my kids, understanding that like daddy gets to at least compete at a place that we're at, right? Because I think one of the most challenging things about for any athlete uh that um that that family is important to them is like the moving and the uncertainty of of what's next. Uh one thing I'm certain about is my abilities. Uh but uh I I am excited to be back with the New York Football Giants and uh serve that organization to my very best.

Have you have you talked to coach Harbaugh yet? Yeah, he's the man. I spent some He's He's elite, man. Like in the weight room at 5:00 in the morning with yoga pants on. Yeah.

Like lifting lifting heavy. And And I asked him, "No, not not really." He said they were yoga pants. They look like slacks like like chinos. I'm like, "Coach, like why are you working out in chinos,

you know?" He's like, "Oh, they're yoga pants." I a good and he's a good culture builder. It feels like things, you know, are going to start turning in the right direction.

Well, he's he is he is certain about his approach. like every like um one of my best friends who's the pass game coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, Danny Brier, would always rave about like his intent in the meetings. He always had intent with what he was saying. He wasn't just coming from left field trying to speak to the to the teammates. It's not a real rah guy. Everything he he did was calculated and intentional. And that's what we need for the Football Giants.

Big time. Yeah. I I like I like it when you say football Giants. I I feel like we need to bring that back more oft Chris Burman used to always remind they're New York football Giants. You really put got to put some stank on it. How do you like living in New York?

Uh I live in Jersey. Uh but I I love being able to wake up and we got the we're right on the Hudson River. You got the city behind us, Hudson Yards. Like it is uh it is unbelievable. Like me and my wife say like it don't get old.

Yeah. Every like even with the snow coming down like ice hills piled like 20 feet in the freaking air.

It's iconic. like me and my son like freaking like we're climbing Mount Everest to get to the top of this freaking ice hill. And then I get into the facility and one of the the local uh um I think I video guy Karm he asked me he's like did you take any trash can lids off? What what am I going to do with the trash can lids? He's like you go sledding. You take your kids and then I felt like I felt like a failure because I didn't know about trash can lids until take my kids sledding. So when that opportunity presents itself next time I'm going be pushing my kids down that that hill to sled. There you go.

Yeah. But no, I I just think the city I I've always wanted to be a part of something that's more, right? And what New York provides the athlete and really anybody that's there, right? Because it's probably the most diverse place in the world is like you really see the American dream when you're able to look at that skyline and you see like, man, one of the funniest things I ever seen like I'm I'm going to my first Yankees game ever, right? We're staying in Harlem, right, at the Renaissance Hotel and like I'm trying to do it right way because I'm like, "Hey, we could stand in the Harlem Renaissance. You know, we're gonna take the subway to the Bronx, right, and watch the Yankees play. My first game ever." Man, as we walk on the street or we walk to like a little deli down the street, I see like this Latino baby, like six years old, on the phone walking like in a full conversation. I got I got my

four-year-old at the time who's taller than the six-year-old that's walking on the phone in a stroller cuz he's sleep.

Yeah. Right. And I'm just like, "This is New York City. This is the American dream. This 6year-old Latina kid is already having Fortune 500 business calls on his track phone like in in the streets of Harlem. You know what I'm saying?" I'm just like, "How Apollo Theater is right there." And I see this little this little Latino kid like on the phone. Yeah that's

I'm just like that is iconic. He's closing deals. That it is true. New York has got like just characters and everything everywhere. You also It It is a city of opportunity. You had what I would say is the greatest opportunity ever in that you got to have dinner with the Rizzler. So, tell us all about the dinner with the Rizzler.

Man, it was the the greatest uh uh greatest rated G dinner that I ever had in my life. Was there a moment where you're like, I'm having dinner with a seven-year-old or I don't even know how old the Rizzler is anymore.

He's He's nine. He's nine. He's nine. Uh the moment was when I when I saw him, right? Because the Riz has this aura about him where like everyone knows who the Riz is, right? So, as we're walking into the restaurant, like I'm getting my coat checked and everything and like you can see the host is like she's laughing like because she knows who the RZ is. I'm like, "Hey, can I get my my coat checked? It's freezing out here." And you're laughing at this little kid right here. So, we walking up to the restaurant and like everybody wants to shake this guy's hand and like he's he's a little kid, so he's like he knows how to handle himself around adults, but his presence is so grand, bro. Like, I'm just like I'm sitting having dinner with him. We talking about caviar. I'm just like, "Have you ever had caviar before?"

He's like, "No, I never had it." And I was like, "Well, you know, it's it's fish eggs, right?" Like, we talking about sushi. I was like, "Do you like sushi?" You know what I'm saying? He's like, "I like sushi." So he had this meal where he tried the Japanese oonie,

right? And oonie is acquired taste. You know what I'm saying? Like it looks like yellow paste, but you got to know what you're eating. So he's like, "Yeah, I love oonie." I said, "Do you know what oonie is?" He's like, "Yeah, of course." And you see those chubby cheeks just looking like I was like, he might know because I don't know what his palette takes him, right? But we sitting there having conversation. The Oonie comes out

and he's like, "I love this." And I'm just like I'm like do you really love this? He ate one bite and he ate the risoto. He didn't eat don.

So I'm just like you you got me wasting money on a meal. Like so that's when I realized like okay I am with a kid. But the unique thing was like my seven-year-old was right next to my seven-year-old and 5-year-old. They were sharing jokes back and forth.

Yeah. They got to be big Rizzler fans. It was unbelievable. Yeah. Did he at least reach for the check at the end of the meal? Did he pretend like I got it?

I would not let him do that. You know what I'm saying? like it is no way I'm going to let a nine-year-old reach over.

I got it. Might have more money than all of us. He could that's definitely on the table.

But I do like I I was very grateful to meet his his pop, you know, because in this world like when you have kids who work as hard as him like in terms of have the fame, you see their parents pushing them and and like everything they're trying to create all these moments, but his dad Brian was so chill, such a vibe. Like he was sharing like the moments that they actually have at home. like he was he was geeking out because, you know, he was from Staten Island and like his his his love for the Giants, man. Like it was really cool just to see the child come out of his father, right? And to see that connection that they had.

Is that the uh the most star struck you've been since you've been in New York? Had to be had to be big big time business dinners.

Man, it was unbelievable. Yeah. Like because like I'm like sitting next to this icon

and like he's a quarter of the age I am, right? So I'm just like, what did I do wrong not to be able to be like this kid?

Wish I was on my grind when I was nine like you. I wasn't working like him. Yeah, the 401k for that. If you if he's putting stuff away every year, like he's going to be a billionaire by the time he's like 40 years old,

bro. But have you seen his cribs episode? I No, I haven't seen that one, bro. Like he's freaking I think he's like seven in the video and he has like stuff in there. I'm just like what? Like who has this type of stuff? You know what I'm saying? Like how's this kid got these iconic pieces?

Yeah. I I got an idea I want to throw at you. Uh cuz we're going to need your consent to be able to pull off this idea, but it's a longunning idea on our show. When we get into a football season,

there's always a bunch of injuries that happen in the quarterback position. It sucks. It's part of the game.

But then we get to like week 10 and there's a Monday night game and it's uh a backup quarterback and it's like, "All right, we don't really want to watch this guy." And we've always said that Jameus Winston should just be like all-time quarterback for any prime time game that doesn't have a good matchup. Do you think you could pull that off if we like, "Hey, Monday it's like, "Hey, Jameus, you got to go to Arizona. We're going to need you. They're playing Monday Night Football against the Cowboys. We need some Jamus." Could you do that?

Oh, Jacobe played an excellent game. He did. Yeah. Uh but yes. Okay. All right. So to playing in literally

I feel like we playing I get to get on the field. Yes. sign me up. Yes, you know because it's like we there are those bummer games, the standalone games later in the season. It's like you know what this game needs? It needs more Jamus.

Thank you. Yeah, I really appreciate it. It was you and Joe Flacco. We just have Jamus and Joe Flacco just

going around the country wherever you need to go so that we can watch some fun football. It would be electric

cuz you always give like the thing with you is that and I love watching you play especially this part of your career where it's like you know maybe you're not a starter every year but when you get in you always give your guys a chance and you're always going to actually like throw the ball downfield because what happens a lot with backup quarterbacks they get in it's you know a lot of like five yard passes trying to be safe. You're giving your guys a shot every single play.

Yeah. Well that's the NFL receivers. They deserve a chance. Right. Right. like we're not playing fearless.

But this year was this year was fun. It was very unique uh because of the dynamic that we had in our quarterback room with having a a Super Bowl winning champ and having a a first round pick and having myself who threw for a gazillion yards. So, uh starting off with Russ being a starter, man, I'm literally I'm just like I just remember the day like the back of my hand where I'm excited like just signed with the New York Football Giants. Two weeks later, I see Russ big smile like sign like what Russ I already know they gonna draft the young kid like now I gota I got to go through him and then um training camp gets uh gets here Daves gives him the position and to see how uh Russ and Jackson were like just being nurtured in this in this system where I'm just like man like me and Tommy Devito who's with the Patriots now I'm like man like am I going to get enough reps like because one he's learned Russ

has learned the offense Jackson is a young rookie so he's learned the offense so it's not it's not of reps for everybody in training camp. So, it it really was a very unique experience for me competing, right? Like I remember uh re reading um

uh Tom Brady's um uh kind of novel with his um his sports psychiatrist in Michigan where Tom was talking about his opportunity at Michigan as the backup. how like every practice rep he was playing a game rep because he didn't know when was going to be his next opportunity and then eventually he ended up overtaking the starring position next year starring and leading him to win Rose Bowl right so I was I had to had to like kind of get into that mode where like man every freaking rep that I have like I don't care if I'm throwing the ball to Gunnfig or some undrafted rookie from you know the Opaikica Mountains man we're gonna make something happen and we're gonna create excitement And uh and guys are going to want to love playing football when I'm out there on that field.

Yeah. Yeah. And we still do. Every time we get out there, it's it is exciting to watch. I I hope that you get another chance to start. I think that you have Well, I know that you definitely have the belief in yourself and I got the belief in you and Big Cat has a belief in you that you can do it again. Do you have you got the sense from other GMs that there could be an opportunity or would it have to be the right backup? I think I think this this role with uh the the dream that Sam Darnold is selling right now with being connected with the right minds and being in a good system and being able to take advantage of his opportunity uh and showing it over and over again, right? I think that is helping so many of the quarterbacks that you know get deemed journeymen,

right? Like it it's really just making the most of your opportunity when it's presented. You saw it this year with uh

what's his name? Mac. Jones, right? Like he got he got his shot shot to spin. He went out there and he did what was required, right? So So I know it's going like it's it's going to come around again, you know, like buses. 15 minutes. You know, it's going to come around and I'm going make the most of it.

How many more years do you think you can play? I I would love to play 12 years, right? Uh and that's just 12 years.

Wait, 12 more years? 12 more years. 12 more years. I'm going to be on 12 this year.

Yeah. So you're going to play 24 years? Yes. I love I love that. I love that. Oh my god, that's the great I was so nervous asking that question. You going to be like, I got three more year. No, you got 12 more years. We're halfway

in terms of my arm. Like it's just I'm I'm blessed. Like I'm really grateful that uh that God gave me this arm and and it's mine, right? So like I'm I'm growing every constant growth, right? And just the fun of being able to

increase the people that's around you, right? And and that's why the tough thing of this year in terms of our team was like, man, going into training camp, like I I had a feeling that this was going to be a great squad. Like just the tenacity of our defense, right? High offense with Malik Neighbors and young Cam Scatteraboo, Tyrone Tracy doing his thing. We had a elite offensive line, great O line coach, uh Mike Kfka head to him, calling plays like like I knew it was going to be good,

but it was those fourth quarters, man. It was those four quarters where we didn't finish. I sign me up for 12 more years of James. Thank you.

We're just scratching the surface. Start a petition now. Yes. 12 more years. We can say this is the end of act one career right?

Yeah. We're just at halftime. It is. Yeah, we are. So, you got any you got any adjustments that you're making at halftime?

Uh, the biggest adjustments is just more more TV. You know what I'm saying? I'm probably going to have a few Broadway appearances. I probably have a rap album out. You know what I'm saying? Just depends. Some Christmas carols, you know what I'm saying? going to team up with some AI Frank Sinatra just to get the brand up and moving. You know,

we'll get back to Jameus in a second. This episode's brought to you by McDonald's hot honey sauce. Hot honey sauce is at McDonald's for a limited time. Your favorite orders just got better with hot honey sauce. Try the hot honey snack wrap. It'll beat what you thought was your fave. I'm telling you, uh, for breakfast, you know what I like to do? I like to get a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and put that hot honey sauce on there. Makes it pop. Sets it off. The new hot honey sauce now at McDonald's for a limited time only.

Check out the hot honey sauce. It's at McDonald's. We love it. Try the hot honey snack wrap. It is delicious. All right. Now, more James Wy. I I uh I I loved watching you and Russ on the sidelines this year when Jackson was playing. I I couldn't figure out which one of the two of you was more excited to be like right on the sidelines ready to help somebody up, ready to, you know, support a teammate that ran out of bounds for something. It seemed like the two of you had a pretty good connection in terms of like we both understand what our role is right now. Like what was what was that like with Russ? Cuz I imagine it wasn't easy for him to get benched like that.

Yeah. with with Russ. It was uh it was very challenging with him and and I I like balancing helping Jackson stay prepared and keeping a future Hall of Famer, Super Bowl winning champ uplifted every single day. Uh I felt like it was a blessing in disguise, man, because I I was able to share with Russ like Russ, you never been in this position before. You never been in a position where, you know, uh you felt like you didn't play like you wanted to and you got benched and the young quarterback is coming in and he's playing good. He's bringing excitement.

So, like I'm here for that because I've seen that happen, right? I've been injured and I've been having to watch freaking Andy D lead the ham with the New Orleans Saints. Like I've I've seen it, right? I've had to get have his back and support him because it's always about the team. And I think Russ's mentality of his leadership paid off tremendously because he known the importance of the team, right? And as a quarterback, um, we know we're the only person out there. So, it's it's tough. It's tough to swallow that pride when you know that you're capable and you're able to to still spin and rust and still play. Uh don't don't get me wrong, but he grew more this year because he had to be in that humble state than he did over all the other places. Like because you know Denver like it was it was bad. It was bad out there in Denver, right?

Pitch he led him to the playoffs. You know it it was it was okay, right? Like he he but he stepped back on the scene but this year was supposed to be like he won his first Super Bowl in New York. Like he was supposed to be back, right? But uh God challenged him in a way that he's never been he's probably been challenged before because people doubted him coming out of freaking college. Yeah. Right. So it I I think it is igniting something within him to allow him to have the greatest comeback of his life. And I'm praying I hope that he has that. But I I just commend his leadership uh in his u consistency of continuing to pour into Jackson, continuing to stay uh like relevant and active. Man, Russ was buying team dinner every Thursday. every Thursday he picking up the tab. He he uh bringing in from Lunellos's uh feeding the whole the whole building, right? Like so nothing nothing uh fell off like he stayed

consistent and uh he was a great teammate. And you're a great teammate and any any GM that's listening to this is like if this is how Jamus acts when he's a a third string quarterback and cares about his teammates in this way. Imagine the Jamus you're going to get if he's your starter.

Yeah. Like actually it's probably going to be the same guy. I don't think that that would change anything, but it does show because a lot of guys if they're in that role, they would just kind of, you know, check out a little bit and worry about their future and and you were dedicated to all the guys on your team. And can we just can we refresh people on uh the the time that you were starting in New Orleans,

the season that you were putting up, the numbers you were putting up? Can you just I don't know if you know those off the top of your head, but can you describe how you start?

I was leading the league in touchdowns and I was leading the league in touchdown interception ratio, which everyone gives me heck about till this day.

Yep. Right. And we were five and two. Five and two. Like so we we were we were on a up and up, you know, but things happened.

And then but the stuff that you played through Yeah. I don't think people know.

No. Broke back, right? A ruptured perennial longus, right? People don't even know what that is.

Yeah. I don't know what that is, but it sounds that's a muscle that runs right down the side of your cal that wraps around and attached to your big toe, right? So like and and quarterbacks know this, like you do whatever and I and I saw Drew Brees do this the year before, right? Yeah.

Like he did everything he could not to come off that field, right? He wrote in his his book in his memoir about how Doug Fluty, his relationship with Doug Fluty, like if Doug Fluty was hurt, he'll never come off the field because he's like, man, I I can't come off this field because the the backup quarterback come in and freaking take my job,

right? So, just learning that, understanding that, man, I got to freaking broke back. Like, my plant leg, I can't freaking move. And then I had to fly to freaking London.

Yeah. On a 9-hour flight. Yeah. with a freaking bone stimulator wrapped around my back and try to play.

What's a bone stimulator? It's like a It's like a a PMF uh machine that they give you that you

Oh, I got one. We bought those pads. The the PEMF is like a halo that you wrap around those work

to try to heal try to heal your bone. I I think I mean I don't pain. We bought them because Tua bought it for his offensive lineman and we were just like maybe they'll work.

No, no, this one was different. Like this was like a bone PMF. So like Okay. It looked like, you know, how like a it look like a back brace, right? Imagine me sending my Virgin Mobile

little slot like I hope my bones are improving right now. Virgin Airlines. Get these bones better. Did you do you as a backup do you this year do you buy your offensive lineman a gift?

Yes. Uh where' you get them? So, I had like a I had a moment of gratitude for uh for the offensive lineman because I I got like this chrome hearts hat, right? And the plan was I know a young guy was going to get the hat because none of the OG's offensive lineman, they're not going to they don't care about a $1,200 $1,200 hat.

Yeah. Right. So, one of our young rookies had got the hat. And my main thing was like, are you grateful? Are you grateful for this hat? The hat couldn't fit his head. Right. like and and like everybody's walking around with freaking projectors, uh, Prada bags, cardio shades. He's walking around with a chrome hearts hat,

right? And he's looking at me like like, "James, you got me this hat. I can't even wear this hat." Jackson trying to try the hat on. He was like, "Man, hopefully I can get it. You can have my gift, right?" So that's kudos to Jackson. But I end up giving him a nice Louis bag with some Louis shades. But all my offensive linemen got stakes. Like Snake Farms always look out for me, man, when it come to stakes. Like I got I got to get him no pun. I got to get him some meat, man. I got to feed I got to feed my old line, man.

Yes, definitely. Definitely. What's uh what's what's going on with Florida State?

Yeah. Other than the is the fix as simple as just having your brother play there?

Uh yes, them having a Winston on the roster is definitely going to be uh huge. But I I tell you, with this new wave of football, uh athletes are more privileged than we were in the past. So being able to recruit a athlete that really loves football and also their family wants their child to be a football player besides a millionaire or entrepreneur or whatever, right? With all this money coming in, I think that's very important. So the challenge is not really the kids, it's the parents and the guardians to keep them focused on why they're even getting this blessing of money. But in in terms of for state, man, I believe they're they're hitting on the right track. Uh I I went downh for my brother's official visit. Uh spent some time just saw how they were doing anything. We just like Florida State just got their own football facility. That's crazy. October 2025, one of the most iconic football programs

was working out in the gym. I was working in the gym with the swimmers, bro. And swimmers grind out. They they in there early, right? Like I'm I'm doing a set and then the the swimming girls they're doing the set

like in the in the same gym and I go to Florida State. I'm sharing you know and and look I know I'm sorry guys if I sound spoiled right because H.B.CU don't have nothing right? They don't even got a trainer but anyways I'm sharing treatment tables with the tennis

team and I'm just like look okay look I I know like your injury is just important as our injury but it's football season.

Yeah. And also football is I mean is the main money driver. Well, it it it is right and and it was just it was tough being on the baseball baseball we had our own weight room. We had everything accessible to us right on the baseball team. But football like we're sharing things like you know and I'm I love the fact that dope Campbell is connected to uh the hospitality uh um like the school of hospitality at Florida State, right? So you see so many different faces coming in. It's connected to the testing center and everything. So, it's a lot of people in there, but I we like yeah, student athletes, but we come in there to play football.

Right. Right. Right. And if you come in there to play football, like how can you attract these top players when they're walking in the facility and you don't even have something that caters to them

and they go to other places like Clemson has a slide and a barber shop. So, so we overcame that hump in terms of the the eye factor. But in terms of our head coach, in terms of our program, I still believe Florida State has that traditional program program. But however, we have to put behind the past or the whether the the championship that we had, whether that season that they left us out of the playoffs, we have to put that behind us and find a way to move forward and start winning football games because that's that's all that matters.

Yeah. Yeah. Are you are you talking to your brother a lot? Are you like advising him or is he like, I want to do my own thing. I want to be my own man. So, his his entire high school career, right, middle school, I wanted him to have the same experience that I had with my dad, right? Just one-on-one coaching, growing, not having multiple voices uh in his ear. But when he signed with Florida State, I had to be there. I had to be there on his official visit. I had to be there like with his official signing because now I feel like like I'm passing the torch to him and I I I cannot not be there for him, right? when I know I it's honestly it's relatively very new but I know the ins and outs of the campus and I have like we finally have a similarity in terms of like yeah we love football but now he's at that age where his recept his receptiveness to another voice because my dad is elite like I'm blessed we blessed to have our

dad in our life but his receptiveness to me now at this age is way more receptive than what he was when he was younger because like he he just like man my my brother in the league like I'm trying to get there I'm put my head down. I'm working my butt off, right? My daddy he he created one of them. So, he created me, right? So, I'm going to have this opportunity. So, I'm I'm excited to to even have a deeper relationship with him, right? Because talking to him about going to Florida State, man, it had me in tears,

right? Because I'm just like, man, like Joe P, like I I was a part of building this,

right? And now you going to go and and you're going there for you. You're not going there for me, right? You're not getting a scholarship because I did this stuff. You're doing getting a scholarship because you earned this. Right.

Right. So, don't go out there and try to separate yourself from for me. Go in there and be the best Winston that you possibly can be and keep doing what God gave you and your talents.

Mhm. And I you know, a lot's changed since you went to school there. Yeah. Some of this stuff is not against the rules anymore now that he's there. So, he won't run in any of those problems.

No, he won't. He going to get sponsorships. Yeah. That's the difference. It's like he's going to get paid. Well, you know, like I feel like it is like uh it's a it's a saying in the Bible about like u everything is permissible. Yeah.

But not everything is beneficial. Right. Right. So like yes, all these partnerships and stuff like it's Yeah. You can do it. Right. It's there. It's out. It's everyone can get it but like you have still have to be looking for the strategic beneficial partnerships.

Yeah. Right. That you can get and and that's what he looking for. So, uh, he probably won't have no crab leg sponsorships in his future, but you can, uh, talk with me because I got some crab leg, uh, uh, QR codes that I'll be passing out.

I love that fish market. That that is one of those like we I'm going to put air quotes on scandals. Yeah. Uh it's that and the Ohio State like free tattoo stuff that we look back on, we're like we were we were just so stupid as a society for treating those like they were the biggest issues that we had for for young football players coming up through the college system.

Man, I I feel like the scrutiny that amateur athletes, right, these are we were high school players,

right? The scrutiny that that we get is huge because of the platform that we have in terms of everyone's watching us. You see, you saw the excitement with freaking Indiana winning the college football national championship this year. Just the excitement of Miami being able to play at their home field. So, those viewers obviously bring a lot of eyes, but at the end of the day, these are still amateur athletes. Like these these kid these are kids. Like I was a kid in college. like all of us like the pe the people that's on Twitter that's tweeting like this guy sucks he's a bad person you're talking about a kid

right so like I I I always encourage u especially men right to have a a point of view of like how are you when you were 18 years old

yeah big time I was an idiot wasn't [ __ ] still a [ __ ] and then the heighten of the social media wave of cameras being like I remember me and my boy Joe man we used walk into Coliseum and I promise you it was just like we were at a freaking glow party. Everybody had their phone out lighting us up recording like as I'm walking through like like I remember like my walk out song for uh baseball was I'll be feeling like the man when I walk through, right? So like and I felt like the man when I was walking through like everybody GOT THEIR PHONE OUT LIKE light me up. I'm just like man like can I just not come and party in peace, right?

You know, you can't. We had we had to start having house parties man. It was It was nice. It was definitely fun.

Is there a Is there anybody that's that's playing college ball right now that you watch and you say I I maybe it doesn't remind you of you, but the way that we watch you play, we get excited. Is there a player that you watch and you're like, I love watching that guy play.

Uh I I did enjoy watching Fernando Mendoza compete this year because I I was looking I was like, man, like because I know Florida State like we beat Cal last year and he was a quarterback. I was like, man, like this kid continues to show up every single week, right? And how's he doing it with Indiana? Because I'm still like in my mind I'm just like this is still Indiana. Like when they when they beat Ohio State.

Yeah. I was like this it took a long time for people I and the Rose Bowl was like I I was like Indiana's going to kill Alabama. But a lot of people were like it's Alabama. It's Indiana. It's going to be Alabama.

Indiana looked like Alabama. Yes. Yeah. They they absolutely dominated. if they didn't have IU on the side of the head. You if you were watching

that those teams, you like, "Oh, that's Alabama and that's Indiana." Yeah. Like, and that's that's just the the program that coach Signetti has developed. And the the players have bought in and when you look at Indiana, those players look like they love football. All of them are 23 years old with big old beards and they are there for football.

Yeah. By the way, I found uh I found the clip. Let's watch it. I I hope we don't say anything stupid in this, but this is you scoring the touchdown. So, this is us every Sunday just sitting there.

OH, JAMUS. OH, that's sick. That play was epic. That was [ __ ] awesome. Thank you. Thank you.

That was That WAS HUGE. THREW THAT GUY OFF MORE. Oh man, the best that Look how dead this play was.

Yeah, dead. So that was how we were reacting in the cave. We love you. We love watching you on Sundays. That's like

the the I mean there wasn't a Giants fan in that cave and we all were just like you had I think we might have put you on main TV for that one.

Appreciate Man. The funny thing about that game like so behind me like you could hear the fans heckling right like hey Jamus throw us one throw us one I know it's coming and like after that play even the the Lions fans they were like GOOD JOB YOU JAMUS WHO like but you to get the opposing team

to stop hating Yeah and join you like that was exciting good football if you heard all the different voices in that room that were all yelling Jamus I counted like six or seven different guys I heard. We all root for different teams when we're watching football on Sundays. We're all yelling at each other. It's like the most combative viewing experience that you could have. And you brought that room together to all cheer for you because that's how much we care for you. And you need to be We need to see Jamus starting in the NFL. I absolutely need it.

I guarantee you that if we had like if that clip was like 20 minutes long, 20 minutes later there was probably just stray like a Jamus, that was so sick. Remember that Jamus?

Still saying it. Yeah. Over and over. Oh, man. That That was iconic. I'm I'm going to give I'm going to give the fans memories. I'm going to give everybody memories when I'm out there on that field. But the memory that I want is to be that Super Bowl winning quarterback.

That's what I want for you, too. I love it. Um All right. I got one last question. Rowback.com, which by the way, you're Yeah, we were in an ad together. Yeah. robback.com promo code take 20% off your first purchase. QZips, polos, hoodies joggers shorts rowback.com promo code take. Uh I assume you should be a 99 in Madden. But who who do you think who's the let's say let's go from this a defensive player that's given you fits that you're like that guy should be 99.

Uh well from watching man will Will Will Anderson had an amazing year on the defensive end. Uh he he did an incredible job. Uh Chris Gonzalez, man, he was locked down

this year. Like nobody was catching. Like when you watch the uh ALC championship game,

uh you're like, "Oh my goodness." Like they catching the ball on him and then out of nowhere he gets that pick at the end of the at the end of the game and you like see like can't nobody mess with him.

Yeah. Um one person that a lot of people not going to like talk about, but I feel like he's like low-key one of the best defensive players uh in the league is Devon Witherspoon. Y

Spoon is he is the heart and soul of that Seattle Seahawks defense. Like he is coordinating everything back there. He doesn't miss tackles. He makes plays on the ball. Like he is a true football player out there, man. And and and he definitely deserves a 99 on defense.

Do you have uh any rules? I know that sometimes quarterbacks are like, "I'm not throwing it at Spoon. I'm not going to challenge him." Is there anybody any Is there any quarterback that's that's that's ever made you say

I'm taking away I'm not going to look that way. Hell no. Not ever in my life. Yeah.

Never. Yeah. A good throw beats great coverage, right? It it does. But I feel like that's a competitive side. Like obviously as you're planning for week, you're looking at who we going to be attacking uh for the the majority of the game. But when when that time comes, you have to be your best against their best. Like that's football. Yeah.

Like, so I ain't I ain't ducking. No wreck, dog. I ain't running away from no. It's almost like a challenge. Like Spoon's good, but

what if I beat him? I'm going to attack him. I get him on his heels. Y uh All right. Well, Jamus, always awesome to have you on. We're We remain your biggest fans. Uh can't wait for you to get another shot at starting and uh Super Bowl. I mean, listen, I'll say this.

When you do get to the Super Bowl as a starting quarterback, you have to come on the show that week if that's okay. No, we we will do a Zoom call because I'm I'mma be or y'all can come to the

No, we'll be at the Super Bowl. We'll be at the Super Bowl. We'll come wherever you want.

Come to the hotel. Yeah. Yeah. No problem. No problem. We want you locked in. But we'll we we just we need a we need a Super Bowl week. Jame,

y'all will get anything from me. Okay. All right. Yeah. Maybe maybe some seats.

Y'all get anything. Okay. I got signed jersey afterwards. Like party after the Super Bowl.

Not Not my sign jersey. Wait till we make another one. Okay. All right. Well, that one's going second. We party with you after. Definitely party. Okay. All right.

Yeah, that's good. Y'all are in. Okay. Done. Done. Jamus, you're the best man. Thank you. Y'all are appreciate it.

By the way, I just refreshed Twitter while PFD was doing a couple ads, and uh, it's got to be Katie's burners. The way he's walking around with his phone.

Yeah. Just panicking. It's so like that's a guy who's We've all been on that side of it.

Leaning into it. I don't know, man. We've all been on that side of it where the internet's coming for you and you're just kind of pacing around looking at your phone. You don't You think he's leaning into it or you think I He looks pretty concerned when he's like He had his phone out on the court when guys are like taking warm-ups. He's just he's just scrolling. That's KD is what he doing fully into that life.

Just I don't know refreshing everyone talking about it, getting text messages from people.

This is a big part of Yeah. This one look at that. I mean, he's just all he's just walking around on his phone. Hank, look at that. The guys are shooting around.

Yeah. Like that's that's what leaning into it. Yeah. Like I guess he knows that he's going to Listen, there's

But he doesn't look his face doesn't look like he's leaning into it, but Yeah. No relax. No relax went on with Twitter. I'm on 10 until the second I close the app. You relax.

He did go after Shams the other night for being on his phone during a game. Yeah.

And he was on it all night tonight. Kevin Durant is never going to log off and and and it's a it's a fool's errand to try to even get him to try. So just let the man cook.

Like I said, Hank, he might be there's a chance he's got he's on his third burner roasting Kevin Durant's second burner as a burner. He's like these there's free jokes to get off. Okay, let's wrap up the show. How was everyone's vacation? Hank, you want to start?

Yeah, I will start. Uh, it was awesome. I was I was on a golf trip. Seven seven of my my childhood friends, guys I've known for 20 years. Uh, I showed up on empty from the Super Bowl week. Had a blast. Got to play golf. Uh, saw our friend Ricky Elliott.

Yes. Played around with golf with him. One of the most I mean, he's just he's the best. One of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I've played. played some sick courses. Had a great time. Lost my voice.

Great time. Yeah. Excellent. Nice weather. So, you you basically you went San Francisco straight to Orlando. You're you're cooked.

Yeah. I was home for like I got home at 11:30 and I left the next morning at like 10:00.

You get sunburned. You're cooked. You look tan. Yeah, I got some sun. You need to sleep.

I was I was putting on some sun sun. When did you get back today? Like 7 7 p.m. tonight.

Damn, you're cooked. Hanks and big time. I need a vacation for my vacation mode.

Oh yeah. Yeah. No, I just need one good night of sleep and I'll be good. Yeah. Is

Yeah. Yeah. You'll be fine. I'll be on the road back. Yeah. Your voice will be good by Tuesday's show.

Well, my friends like they have Monday off and they're like, "Oh yeah, like get home tonight and recover and then we have tomorrow have to recover."

Take tomorrow off. Take a personal day. Hey, what's the weather like tomorrow? It's beautiful.

Like 60°. 60 here in Chicago. Beautiful. I will not be golfing the world. PFT, how was your vacation?

My vacation was great. Thank you for asking. I I had a blast. I got some nice sun. I saw a bunch of whales.

Nice. Like whales jumping out of the water and [ __ ] Uh just real relaxed. I basically woke up every morning, started drinking beers and margaritas at about 10:00 a.m. and then uh sat by a pool or by a beach and then went back to sleep. And then I had to go and [ __ ] it all up. Maybe the most relaxing vacation ever. Uh on on Friday, I just decided after breakfast, and I've been thinking about I I brought it up to you one time, Big Cat, a couple of months ago. Um I just quit pouches. Quit decided [ __ ] nicotine pouches. I'm out on nicotine pouches. I'm out on all nicotine

cuz I was in that zone where I was like feeling my pockets all the time like I couldn't go anywhere without knowing that I had some on me. I just said, "You know what? [ __ ] it. I'm just I'm just not going to have another one after my lunch today." And then I just kind of rode that. And so now I'm like, what would that be? Like two days.

Mhm. Yeah. About two full days. Two and a half days off. It's not easy. I'm going to be more in on Lucy's to make up for

Have enough for me. Yeah. Yeah. Have enough for me. So my my resolution is that I'm just going to smoke cigarettes. That's it.

Okay. You've done this a million times. The vape to cigarette to I did that one time. Okay,

that's how I quit vaping. I quit vaping. Hank's resetting the play clock right now.

I did it one time more and I can tell you exactly when it was. I quit vaping by smoking cigarettes. Now I'm quitting all nicotine by only smoke. The only time I'm allowed to have nicotine is if I'm smoking an actual cigarette.

You quit dip to to vape and then vape to cigarettes. I'll give you the entire how how it worked out. I quit dip to vape. I quit vape by smoking cigarettes. I quit smoking cigarettes by nicotine pouches.

And then I stayed on nicotine pouches. And now I just nonstop. I I usually fall asleep with one end. Got it.

So I'm like, I'm out. I'm just going to go cold turkey except for the cigarettes.

So I'm going cold turkey. I haven't smoked a cigarette yet, but I'm saying I will smoke a cigarette and that will be my my release. But right now, I'm definitely I'm in the throws of nicotine withdrawal, which you want to see some scary [ __ ] You look it up online and you're like people are telling me it's going to last for three, four weeks.

Nah, all this stuff. You're fine. I'm just fine. I'm just fine. You are smoking cigarettes.

I haven't smoked one yet. I'm I'm telling you I'm allowed to smoke a cigarette if I want one. Got it.

But I don't want one or vape. I No, I can't vape. Okay. Can't vape, can't dip, none of that. But, you know, an occasional marble red from time to time. It's not going to kill anybody.

No. Uh, yeah. It's It is like the headache, jaw ache portion right now. It's not easy.

How you You'll get through it. You're built different. You're built different. How's the booth doing? How's everyone's vacation? you guys.

Um, mine was I had one day of vacation. Yeah, because you went to get ready for your wedding.

Yeah, I just did wedding planning. I was there for like four days and I think I did three days of wedding planning and then one day that I really I really did vacation. Well, the one day that I got though, so that was nice. By the way, Max, if it makes you feel a little bit better, I have uh I've secured multiple pieces of your bachelor party, and it's going to be we're going to do a PMT Max bachelor party in Vegas.

I've gotten the suite in the rooms and a suite at the sphere. It's going to be sick.

I'm I'm excited. I'm going to get some golf tea times. It's going to be fun, Max. It's going to be fun. It's going to be a lot of fun.

I'm excited. I'm excited for the boys. Bosco, the crew is so funny right now. It I've I've overinvited knowing that people will say no.

Like I just threw an invite I just threw an invite to to KD when I saw him last week. He's like I'm in. I was like great. Um and I think I I think I my exact words were

to KD. I was like just bring all the boys like McAffrey. He's like yeah I'm in. Uh, the invites right now are Russilo, Jerry Oonnell, Rico Bosco, Ran. I think Jerry Oonnell and Ran are your strongest yeses.

I think Jerry Oonnell is my strongest. Jerry Oonnell already said that he was clearing his whole

Yes, Jerry Oonnell. Ran out of non Barcel employees, Jerry Oonnell will be the only one.

Jerry Oonnell will probably like get there a day early. But you're telling me that Jerry Oonnell, who's not allowed to watch like a full game of football, is going to take

Oh, he's going to multiple days. He's going to I hope so. I hope you're right. Oh, say no.

You're calling him out. He's going to come to this office for the championship like last week of fantasy football.

He had to go to South Africa. He'll laugh some [ __ ] or his wife laughs some [ __ ]

Why? What? You're going at him right now. What's this? I like this. What? He did. He had He had a tweet.

He tweets at me every day. He had a Tootsie tweet. He had a Tootsie tweet today. I miss Jerry so much.

You guys act like he doesn't Yeah. No, you're right. He antagonizes. Patriots went toe-to-toe with Seahawks and lost. Tiff went toe to toe to toe to toe and Henny's finally won. Thank you for showing the tootsies, Tiffany. All right. So, he's not going to make it. No. Zack, was you you have a good vacation?

I did. Tons of quality time with the family, beers with the boys. It was a good time.

Hell yes. Yeah, I did. I'd set no alarm. I drank all day and then I had four straight days of ice cream Sundays.

Oh, you got to do I do vacation gelato. It's like every night you got to do gelato before

I did I the last night I was on a Sunday streak and they didn't have it on the menu and I asked him I was like, "Can you do anything for me?" He's like, "I got you."

I was talking to PFT. I was like, "I actually ate pretty well. Like when you're on an island,

you just have a ton of fish and like you you go to nice restaurants and you just eat healthy things." And then he was like, "How many pinina coladas did you And I was like, "Well,

yeah." Yeah. It's like I had ceviche for lunch. I had like a nice yogurt parfait for breakfast. And then I didn't really eat so much at dinner cuz I'd been out in the sun drinking all day and

only had, you know, like a small steak. But then you think back, oh yeah, I went beer margarita, beer, margarita, beer margarita for about 11 hours today.

Yeah. Yeah. I also listen it worth it. I also almost ended up in Cayman Island jail which would have been awesome for the pot. Awesome going into the Cayman Islands. I think I got I think I got Can you get racially profiled for being a chill ass dude? Cuz I think that's what happened to me.

Yeah, I I get that in airports a lot. Yeah. The the guy going through customs just went deep into my bag and I had the double whammy of him first asking he was like, "Do you smoke weed?" And I was like, "Yeah." like what? I'm not a loser, dude. And then he's like, it's very illegal in the Cayman Islands. And then he asked me what I do. And I was like, podcaster. And it at that moment it clicked in my head. I was like, I could be in some deep [ __ ] right here. Yeah.

That combo is not good. Yeah. You don't want to say podcaster to a a foreign agent. They don't really understand or respect the profession.

No. He went getting the deep the deep into the bag search is scary just because you're like I don't even know what like it's a back you know when you have a backpack that you just carry around you don't know what's actually in it half the time.

Yeah. I had one of those moments like I don't know what's in this. Like let's just find out together. Dude,

I found a couple gummies in my backpack but no one no one searches your [ __ ] for bringing stuff into Mexico. So I was fine.

What I did when I they search your [ __ ] going into Cayman Islands. I had no idea. I would held up my pill bottle that had maybe some gummies in it and if he had opened it, I could have been in jail, which would have been a hilarious story.

When I went to Qatar, I bought new luggage before that trip just for that exact reason.

Yeah, cuz I was like, that's that seems like a country where you might just die in jail if you get caught. So, I've carried a lot of stuff in my bags over the over the years. So, let's just let's take a clean one.

Yeah. It did feel like entrapment, though, for him to be like, "Do you smoke weed?" And I was like, "Yeah, dude. Of course I do." He's like, "Do you know it's very illegal?" Like, "Fuck."

Mhm. That was That was not fair. Did you know it's actually not that cool? Yeah. What the hell? Like imagine if I said no and then he laughed in my face. Was like, "You don't smoke at all,

loser. You're looking for the Cayman Islands underneath Cuba." Yeah. I had no idea where it was either. I was sitting in the front seat of the They drive on the wrong side of the road. Always [ __ ] you up when you sit in the front seat.

They got to find Cuba first. Max Cuba. Cuba's massive. It's right there. It says Cayman Islands.

Yeah, but waking up with no alarm is the best. I I haven't done that in a very very long time.

Mhm. And it was I had an alarm every day. Also pet a shitload of stingrays. I still got it. Went to like a stingray where they like all the boats bas basically the most touristy thing you can do where all the boats are just anchored and they're just feeding the stingrays. There's stingrays just everywhere.

Yeah. Petting them left and right. Man, memes. You didn't You didn't go anywhere.

I did nothing. It was the best. That's I love that for you. I actually love that for you.

You went on a couple walks, though. I went on so many walks. Yeah. And uh Shane, you went to Hawaii.

What's up? You went to Hawaii? Yes, sir. And you brought back gifts? I did. All right. So,

I got a little something for everybody. So, first thing, I don't know if Hank's wearing it right now. I got him a whale

a whale tail necklace. Nice. I got I'll just go in order here for what I pick up. I got Colton these. I asked Colton and the others kind of like what they like. I got Colton two two spam stickers from like a local artist.

Okay. For uh stickers. Yep. From a farmers marketer. Her name's Peachy Kawaii. All right. No free shout outs. We'll bleep that.

She's really nice. I got I got Zach. He loves He He liked to collect like playing cards. So, I got him two different types of of cards. One's an actual deck of cards. One I thought was a deck of cards. It's just like a Hawaii card game. It just pictures of Hawaii.

That's sick. That's like basically going bolt up. I got I got Max a passion fruit wasabi dressing.

Love that. He randomly texted me the other day and was like, "Do you like jelly or dressing?" And I was like, "This sounds like this sounds like a bit of like a game that you were playing with your girlfriend and you drew a card of like

text your boss a a thing that where you can be like, "Can you jelly this dick down your mouth or something?"

That's a good thing. So, I just said I refuse to answer this question. Instead, he used You're Are you the only person who got food?

This is salad dressing. I got Jack cookies. Oh, okay. All some chocolate chip mac and cheese.

His reasoning was he was like, I I I could see you eating salad more than I could see you eating jam.

Well, well, I've just seen him eat salad more than I've seen him eat like toast with toast with jelly.

Good point. And I got I got PFT the the necklace that he's wearing right now as well. I got him a pretty sweet shirt.

Yeah, the shirts. You said it was the necklace and a shirt. You said the most colorful one they had.

I Yeah, they were selling like $8 shirts. I was like, I'm just going to pick out the most colorful one there is.

Colorful shirt. Yeah. Uh, and I got Big Cat. Can I run this into you? Yeah. Yeah. What did you get?

I got a necklace and a shirt. What's that shirt that you're wearing right now? Just a necklace.

PFD's been wearing anal beads this whole show. These are not These are not anal beads, dude.

All right. I got I'm opening this. All right. These are beetle nuts. Oh, it's a it's a hook like Moana. Uh, Maui Maui's hook. Love that.

That's That's a great game. Maui's hook. Huh, Shane? Maui's hook. Shane for Moana.

Uh, and boys. [ __ ] love it. Yes. Love Moana. Maui. To the Pope. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's going up.

Speaking of Pope, where the [ __ ] is my We're having the Pope on. We're having a Pope game next year.

Oh, yeah. Villainova Notre Dame. Guys, I got you guys a present. That's by the way, the lottery ball machine. That sounds like a lawn mower.

I got the boys a present in Mexico. Okay. So, in Mexicanarmacies, they sell tool, right?

Yes. And so I got I got the boys some toral. I don't know if it's actually street legal to have back in the United States. Don't care. Brought it back. Uh we've only got four capsules.

What is meme saying no? He's saying no to max. Max. He's saying no, Max. Wait, is it four capsules is one shot?

Uh four. No, four servings. Oh. So yeah. So what we're going to have to do here is we're going to save these and whoever the guys on the podcast that have the first four bad injuries. Yeah. like we're going we need to determine whether or not it's a Tor doll worthy entry.

I think we should do I think we should do one episode where we all take to doll and and the listeners have to figure out if it was a Tor doll episode.

That's also not a bad idea. Like we'll just randomly do a Tor doll episode. We're not going to tell you and you just got to be like, "Yeah, that was Tor." And then if it's such a good episode, we just have to become addicted to. Then I was thinking like what if we do that something like that we take it recreationally and then the day after we both get kidney stones we're like [ __ ] I really wish we had the Tor doll.

True. True. I think we should do blind to doll. You think we should blind doll episode?

Tor episode. You should save it. Actually we should save it for after the bachelor party. For the bachelor party.

Someone's going to someone's going to need this if I know something about this podcast.

Yeah. Maybe for the bachelor party when we play golf that Sunday. We're going to need it.

But I feel like so there's four of these. We need people to sign. Like we have to agree. Like Hank can't be like, "Oh, I have a sore throat.

I might as well take the Toridol." Does so. Makes you feel good. Yeah. I'll just You tell me if I need it.

Okay. You kind of need it right now. Put it in his neck. Right. You are Dr. Hank. Hank.

You want one right now? No. No. You won't sleep. Kendrick said he'd be wired. Anyways, you can just buy this stuff in Mexico. It rocks.

Yeah. Okay. Uh, good show, boys. Great to be back. Let's do numbers. 56 one 23 for MJ grabbing that kid's shirt that he knows. Well,

dude, 29. Big dump. 88. 86. That scared me. 93. And I did get memes coffee. Oh, you got memes coffee. Nice. Thank you, Shane. Thank you, Shane.

Memes, what kind of anal beads do you use? Pretty thick. These will be giant anal beads.

37. Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Denny Woodhead. Nah. Anyone? You have one more?

No. I kind of like that we none of us have. It's gonna be No, I like it. I like it.

Happy birthday to Jerry Oonnell. Oh, it's his birthday today. On Tuesday. Okay.

There's not be a show on Tuesday. Happy birthday, Jerry. Happy birthday, Jerry. Hey, Jerry. We'll see you in just a little bit for Max's bachelor party.

Hank, you want to say happy birthday? It's Shane's birthday, too, apparently. Shane, your birthday's today.

Yeah, Sunday. Yep. Shane, happy birthday. What the [ __ ] Shane? It's today. Today?

Yeah. Oh, happy birthday, dude. Thanks, bro. Happy Hey, Shane. Shane, thanks for the gift on your birthday.

I got you some tor guys don't celebrate each other's birthdays. That's what we don't do. We don't do that as men.

I I I've said you got your decades. That's it. Yep. Yeah. Absolutely. Happy birthday, Shane.

Thanks, fellas. That's kind of on the birthday guy, not It's your fault. That's all PFD's fault. That's my fault, man.

That's my fault. As the birthday guy, you're doing birthdays from two days from now.

As the birthday guy right there. I wrote down this Jerry Oonnell one like a month ago. I was like, I don't want to forget the Jerry Oconor one and I I forgot about my guy Shane.

Damn. My bad, Shane. No, it's all good. Understandable. That's why you're a great guy.

Hope you like I hope you like those beads. I do love these beads. You ask your chairman.

They smell funny. Love you guys.
