What this episode is about

The discussion revolves around the recent thrilling NFL playoff games, particularly highlighting the Rams' dramatic overtime win against the Bears and the Patriots' commanding victory over the Texans. The hosts, former NFL players Emanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy, offer their insights while promoting Prize Picks, a platform for sports betting that makes it easy for fans to engage with the game.

Key takeaways

  • In a world of instant stats, Caleb Williams' interceptions prove that sometimes, numbers don't tell the whole story.
  • Prize Picks offers $50 for a $5 bet—essentially the sports betting equivalent of a free appetizer at a buffet!
  • Winning the game isn’t just about the last play; it's the first three quarters where Caleb's mistakes loomed largest.
  • Caleb's resilience is commendable, but in football, style points don’t win games—accuracy does.
  • The Bears' defense held the Rams to 17 points—maybe it's time to focus on the offense too, not just the QB.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, welcome in to the Speak Easy sophisticated sports talk with the best in the game. The divisional ROUND OF THE NFL PLAYOFFS has completed and boy oh boy we had some games. We're excited to talk about them with you guys. So let's go ahead and bring in everybody here in the speak easy. I'm the large human being standing behind the bar nicknamed Care Bear Kieran Hickey Simple. And I have joined here with two gentlemen that played in the National Football League. First up we have the creator of this show, the man wearing some nonprescription glasses and shoes that should not be ON HIS FEET, EMANUEL ACHO IN the building. How we doing?

HEY YO. HEY, WHAT A SUNDAY. HEY, GLAD Y'ALL are here. We moved the show up earlier so y'all can get some rest, but the show's still going to be live. If you've never watched the Speak Easy, welcome, welcome, welcome. Car Bear, make it a great one. Look, also joining us here on the Speak Easy, we have one of the shiftiest running backs of all time. The alltime LEADING RUSHER FOR THE PHILADELPHIA Eagles 252, LEAN SHADY MCCOY IN THE BUILDING. How we DOING TODAY?

GOOD GAME. That was a good game. I mean, better with them birds, but it's all good.

Better with the Bears. Speaking of better, there's no one better at the socials than this gentleman right here. SOCIAL TREY IN THE BUILDING joining us here today before tomorrow's national championship. How we doing today?

Listen, man. I'm feeling good. U I'm ready to see my Hoosiers win it tomorrow, but we got NFL to talk today. So, let's get to it, man.

We do have some NFL to talk about and we have to start off with a game. We all just witnessed the Los Angeles Rams defeat the Chicago Bears on the road 20-7 in overtime. An incredible game that featured some incredible plays. One of them was this one right here. Caleb Williams on a fourth down and four. 27 seconds left in the half. ENDS UP SCRAMBLING BACK LIKE 20 YARDS FROM THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. LAUNCHES IT UP. EVERYONE THINKS IT'S A PRAYER and Cole KT answers it. Unbelievable catch there. And then in overtime, Caleb Williams had an interception looking for DJ Moore here on a second and eight as they were driving. a heartbreaker that would result in the Rams driving the field then kicking a gamewinning field goal. Fellas, unfortunate loss here for Chicago. But the question for you guys is, is this loss on Caleb Williams?

It's hard for me to say it is because of how impressive that last play by Caleb was. the last play being that miraculous play at the end of regulation. But when you throw three picks in a championship game, and not only that, he threw three picks when and where he threw the picks. Y'all remember, I believe it was the very first drive of the game, if I'm not mistaken, that drive, it ends in an interception. I believe Caleb Williams very last drive of the game, that drive, it ends in an interception. It's not just when Caleb threw the picks, it's not just where Caleb threw the picks, it's not just that Caleb threw the picks, it's all the above. that pick that he threw with the game on the line in overtime. Y'all remember if the Bears get any points, they win that ball game.

Could have been a field goal, could have been a touchdown. So, just don't turn the ball over, Caleb, and you likely win that game. At the beginning of the game, Caleb, you're in the red zone. That turnover, it cost you points. So, Caleb gives and Caleb Williams takes away. It's his sophomore season. Did phenomenal things this sophomore season, so I'm not just going to bury him, but I am going to do my job as an analyst. And I do have to say, three interceptions. Yeah, you got to put it on the quarterback 25.

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's weird because the way Caleb plays, like even last week, it didn't look pretty, right? But he found a way to get it done and he makes these crazy special plays. And this is why he went number one pick because he has that type of talent. His ceiling is so high and he's still a young dude, so he's going to get a lot better. But if I had to pick what happened in this game, I mean, if you'd have told me that the defense would have would have kept the Rams to 17 points, if you' have told me that the defense would have kept Stafford and Puka not really going crazy,

I got to give Caleb some of this blame, right? But damn, if he just stay thick cuz I in football you don't have good and bad. I'm not really worried about that. It's how you finish and I thought he was finishing strong. But he does need to take some of that blame.

You know what? Shadyy's right because here's the thing. Caleb is the, you know, the whole cardiac bears thing. That's been the narrative as of late. And we have forgotten so many of Caleb's errors because of how he closes. Bro, if you close, we don't necessarily care how you start. You same bowling 100 meters. It don't matter. You get off the block slow. If you got that closing speed 25, we not going to trip. We overlooked the sins of the Bears offense last week, if y'all remember, against the Packers. They had three points in the first three quarters. Then the fourth quarter, they had 25 points, so we didn't care about the first three quarters. We overlooked the sins of Caleb Williams earlier on in this game. Two picks in regulation, but at the very end of regulation, bro, you have one touchdown in the first 58 minutes of football. But you get seven points in the last two minutes of football. We'll overlook the first 58.

But if your closing speed ain't enough to put you at the finish line across the tape first, now we have to address it. But I think that's a a part you going to work with Caleb. I think we we found out, okay, he has a it factor. He has a special talent now. It's it's a matter of okay, playing through the system, playing through the offense, right?

Sometimes it it's it's hard to understand with him cuz he's so talented where where he'll he'll miss he'll make a a crazy play on his back foot, 40, 50 yards, super accurate like the last play we just seen.

Yes, sir. But then a sixy route, a gimme route, he he'll miss it. He'll overthrow it.

Yeah. And those are small things he gets better at. I just think when he gets that together though, oh my god, the NFC looked out.

Yeah. And these are growing pains though. Correct. Like like the same and this is the thing. That's why I never uh judge a great rookie. His rookie year people didn't see this. Correct. Right. Now now in the second you're like damn this the Caleb we seen in USC. This kid we seen in Oklahoma.

So I do think he's special. I think he's going to be good. It's just a matter of clean up the little stuff and getting this experience. like you was a play from going to the NC championship game in your second year. Yeah.

You know what I mean? So, I'm happy with how the Caleb played this game even though but you learn from it. You learn like this game. If you're a Bears fan, you have to be in sheer and utter turmoil watching this game because you got to be LIKE SHADY SAID, YOU got to be ecstatic from what you saw Caleb this year. Like what you saw Caleb with this year reminded you why he was a number one overall pick. You have to be ecstatic, but simultaneously you have to be like, "Dang, we was one play away, two plays away from going to an NFC Championship game versus a team that we're capable of beating." Like, you were one play away. You were that close.

That close. So, if you're a Bears fan, you have to be in sheer turmoil. But again, these are growing pains.

Growing pains. The interesting thing is like the secondyear quarterbacks won. Shout out to that class because Jaden Daniels last year did what Caleb Williams is doing this year. Shout out to Drake May because this year he's in the AFC Championship game. I get it. Bo Nicks is hurt and he might be not near the same contributor, but his team is in the AFC Championship game. So, shout out to this sophomore class of quarterbacks, but like Caleb is going to have to learn how to make his layups. He knows how to make his threes. He knows how to make his logo threes. He knows how to make his half court shots. He got to learn how to make his layups. And Shad's been talking about that since Caleb was honestly in college. Like Caleb can play outside of the pocket. Caleb can do the miraculous, but Caleb can you do the basic,

you know? And that's crazy. Like you can you can shoot threes and half court joints but

a little layup off the off the backboard is tough for him sometimes, right? But the good thing is he had a really good coach, Ben Johnson. Look, and then we got to give him some credit.

Yeah. Like, is this the Bears we watching? LIKE, IS THIS THE BEAR? I'M NOT USED TO SEEING THE BEARS DO THESE THINGS.

CORRECT. Before the league in the league in college, I'm not used to seeing the Bears compete IN THE PLAYOFFS. RIGHT. A A PLAY AWAY FROM GOING to NC championship game. So, a lot of credit goes to Ben Johnson, right? And they're going to get better. They're going to get better. This is the first year Kevin Kell was in in the Ben Johnson offense. Now, what happens when he gets more confident? Caleb never throwing it more. I always always worried about if the Bears can't run the ball, what do they look like, you know? So, but but they did good, man. I'm I'm happy for I'm surprised if you said at the beginning of the year that they'd have been this far in the playoffs.

That's a good point. But, but Shady is is difficult because I'm torn. I'm not I'm not ready to give the Bears like their consolation prizes.

Hold on, man. Hold on, dude. You do um What's that? Um what is that called? Uncomfortable conversations.

When you No, no. When you when you um uh victory uh uh uh uh trophy. No, no. Like um when you win, you lose, but you still win.

Moral victory. Moral victories. YOU DO MORAL VICTORIES. I KNOW. I'M JUST I'm not ready to do it yet in a playoff game. I'm the first to give out moral victories in the regular season. I am the first to do that cuz there are moral victories. The Bears are incredibly young. Colston Lovelin had a really good season. Roma Dunce was up and down, but I believe that he's promising in the future. Like uh uh Luther Burdens, I think he's going to be a promising player. Hell,

he going to be nice, right? Manungai, he's going to be a promising player if you can retain if you want to retain DeAndre Swift, right? So like you have a promising future. You didn't even have a ton of names in the secondary and all of a sudden you lead the league in takeaways. The future is bright, but I don't think today's the time to worry about tomorrow for Bears fans. Like, today is the time to mourn today. How did today happen?

Do you know any Bear fans? Do you know any My brother played for the Bears? Oh, yeah.

No. Do you know any Bear fans? My brothers. Do you know any Bear fans? Yeah, a couple of them.

If you know any Bear fans, you know how bad it's been for over the years? It's been bad.

How dare you GET MAD AND COCKY LIKE WE MET. WHAT? YOU BETTER DRINK YOUR LITTLE DRINK and celebrate a little bit.

You know what I mean? Because it's been bad. Mercedes overtime. Pete this overtime. Your defense stopped Matthew Stafford and Shan. Three and out. You got the ball back. You've now crossed the 50.

You're 15 yards away from field goal range. 15 yards away from field goal range

and Caleb throws a pick off of miscommunication. Let's do this because we were privileged to have Shady in the studio and y'all might not hear this anywhere else. You sure as hell aren't going to hear tonight. Bring up that interception. Shady said something in studio. 12 years of NFL experience to my right, played with Tom Brady, played with Patrick Mahomes, played with Don McN, might Nick Bowl. And Shady says something interesting. He said that uh uh uh Deion D. Moore, whatever his name is, DJ Moore. DJ Moore. HE SAID ESSENTIALLY LIKE it was a love of the game route. Some people call it like a log route like like DJ Moore, he wasn't even supposed to be the primary option.

I'm not open. He's thinking I'm not open. He's thinking I'm not getting the ball. I want to do something exclusive for y'all in the speak easy. I want y'all to watch the play. Then I want the guy 25 to my right to explain how an interception like this ends up getting thrown. Did DJ Moore quit on the route? What actually happened from an NFL allp pro player?

Check it out. Let's take a look at it right here. So, oh man, you have DJ Moore crossing on the left side of the right here.

But with the way he's running, he's letting you like he's telling you like, dog, this a lot of times you see wide receivers taking off like that, you thinking, all right, oh yeah, he must be clearing something out for somebody.

So, what might he be clearing out? 25. Is he trying to clear out that middle field safety?

That's what I was thinking of. He's trying to take the the the back postaf. But I can't see. It's hard to this video. You can't see is anybody behind. But the way he's ran that route cuz he's not open like like even if he's running hard as why would you why would you throw that? I was trying to figure that out.

Who do you blame this on? Is it on is it on the quarterback or is it on DJ for getting front of the question? Yes, sir.

Would you throw this ball? I got to see when he threw it. I got to see I got to see the picture.

You know what I mean? We got to see the picture when he threw it. Look at the safety though. He going over there.

No, I wouldn't throw it. In my mind, if if even booking, like why? He's not even open.

If it's a clear route route to Shad's point right now, the Rams are in cover three. It does look like you have a vertical. So, it does look like DJ Moore is going to take that post safety and then you have the vertical wide receiver. And if you throw it right down the middle of the hat, right down the middle of the pylon, like the the middle of the field goal post, it looks like you have a chance. So, I see what Shady saying. I didn't play enough offense to know if it's a clear route route, but it does look like

see that. I don't want to stand up and can you can y'all put in the monitor behind us? Yeah. So, look right here.

Okay. There we go. There we go. Right here. You'll see DJ Mor coming over. Yeah. SEE SEE SHADE, HE MIGHT BE RIGHT. If he is clearing out that post safety, if he if if Caleb throws the ball where that ref is,

you got a chance. Yeah. Yeah. But also, if you look at Caleb, the ball's already coming out. Yeah. When he makes a decision to throw the football, I'll stop it.

He steps up. But like look down. This is this this is whenever he makes a decision.

What I do if he's going to throw this ball, throw it down. He throw throw it flat.

Yeah. Throw it flat. You know what I'm saying? So now So now if he throwing flat, the safety has to come up,

right? Like he's throwing to an area. I wouldn't throw it like that. Or another thing that's kind of weird. Yo, they should have had if if if DJ one more time.

If DJ's doing that, they should had the other GUY COMING. HERE'S WHAT I THINK. HEY, PAUSE IT RIGHT HERE. PAUSE IT RIGHT HERE. Pause it right here. Okay. You at home, look at the safety that is standing in front of the ref. You'll see the ref, the ref is right there splitting the uprights. Look at the safety standing in front of the ref. I believe DJ MOORE IS ABOUT TO clear out that safety. Let it run for like half a second. He's about to CLEAR OUT THAT SAFETY. PAUSE IT AGAIN. NOW, YOU SEE THE the Bears wide receiver behind DJ Moore. Run the cursor over it right now. So, so Ben Johnson has beautifully designed this play to beat cover three. We're going to move the post safety and you do have this ball.

Caleb just decides to throw it where DJ Moore is. I do believe that Shady is right. I do believe DJ's like, "Hey, this ball's probably not going to me. I'm just going to be clear. Bring us back on camera."

Also, I'll also say this though, too. I think he he he's thinking DJ Moore is running this, which is also why the placement is where it is. It's way more shallow than what DJ Moore's trajectory ended up being. It looks like a clear out route in retrospect, but I think Caleb was expecting him to come across towards the sideline here.

If he if he throws it down, I think he it's a catch if he throws it down, you know what I mean?

Yeah. Like flat. But then again, I mean, the safety right there, I don't know. DJ Moore, DJ Moore looks shocked that the ball was being thrown to him.

Correct. Correct. And DJ Moore is the kind of player who he's gonna get busy when his number's called,

but when his number is not called, DJ Moore be chilling like THAT. I MEAN, THAT'S MOST WHITE OUTS.

YEAH. FACTS. DO YOUR JOB. YO, YO, cover face. Cover go in front of the um the safety. Do your job.

Yeah. Like, no more, no less. No more. No less. It's It's a tough one, though. That's a That's a tough way to end your season right there. especially like you said 10 15 yards away from field goal range whenever you have an opportunity to go to the NFL.

The only thing I will say is like I don't like seeing this two weeks in a row. Bears fans, NFL fans, if y'all watching the speak easy, welcome. It's about to be one hell of a show. We will talk about CJ Strad momentarily. We'll talk about Drake May and that epic team momentarily. And we'll obviously talk about the Rams momentarily. Remember last week verse the Packers? There was the same thing, another miscommunication between Caleb Williams and his wide receiver. Y'all remember that very first picking. Caleb's eye rate and all these things.

I am just It has to be frustrating, shady week 20 or 21 of the season and we're still dealing with monumental miscommunications between veteran receivers and a secondyear quarterback. Like that's the only thing I'm sure Ben Johnson's probably frustrated and then whoever is at fault, Caleb or DJ Moore, like it's frustrating. We just saw it last week. We just saw

too too much miscommunication. But I will say on the moral victory side, I have I I have friends that are Bears fan shady. They were extremely excited the fact that they're they care about their football season right now. You know what I mean? Like they're they're used to they're they're normally looking forward to the NFL draft. So the Bears I mean for this to be the first year with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson to be a play away from going to the NFC Championship against a team that's likely the the the Super Bowl favorite if not the Patriots right now. I think that's phenomenal. I think that's phenomenal. And they have a lot to look forward to because that team is also young. They're good. They're good and they're young, especially on the offensive side of the ball. But um we do have a lot and I mean a lot of super chats to get to right now.

Talk to me. Come on now. They are. Let's go ahead and kick it off with warm comment said we talk about accountability in the speak easy. If Bicks played May,

Straoud or Caleb today, y'all would crucify him. Keep that same energy. If Bicks played like May.

Yeah, I'm sorry. Yep. Uh don't Stra got what's coming to him. Give us 10 minutes.

Yeah. Give me 10 minutes. Yeah, got what's coming TO HIM. I PROMISE YOU THAT. AND STOUT MY DOG. And the coaching staff for the Texans, all my people. Stra going to get his and we left the show with saying it's Caleb Williams fault. So

yeah, facts. Yeah. So he Yeah, he that was before that was before the show. So yep, he he he got what he asked for. Um let's see. Cho sent a $20 super chat and said, "This is why Jaylen Herz is a champion when it's playoff time. He doesn't turn the ball over,

brother." Uhoh. Kayla Williams can put up put up enough offensive points to be the backup R 49ers defense and he's not playing right now. Can we keep it can we talk about the teams that are playing right now?

Come on now. That's fair. That's fair. Um I got a couple more to get through. Uh DIY or die trying said Rams at Seattle will be epic. Let's see. McDonald vers McVey once again. Noteworthy. Horton had a punt return touchdown and Shahed has one punt return and two kickoff returns.

Uh Seattle safe special teams and defense will be a factor. Mhm. I don't think anybody's doubting that.

Alex uh 9602 sent a $50 super chat that said one game away from the Super Bowl game. What are y'all saying now? Go Pats.

We going to talk about the Pats. Shout out to y'all. We going to talk about them.

Lot of Pats love. Another $50 super chat from uh Melena. And yeah, I'm assuming this is this is a woman.

Let us know right now if YOU'RE A LADY WATCHING THIS SHOW IN THE CHAT. Just drop something. Drop a I don't even know what you're

Yeah. Give us a nails emoji or give us, you know, something something. Yeah. Caleb Williams is Yeah.

Little dance emoji. Yeah. Little dance little dress. Yeah, that that' be cool. Um

she said it's time to put some respect on the Rams name. All week we had to hear how the cold would affect the Rams. Rams uh

it did. Aren't mental mentally tough. Led by McVey. Stop treating this team like a regular warm weather team. # Ram League. The the Colt absolutely affected the Rams. Matthew Stafford was under 50% completion percentage. He didn't throw a touchdown pass. Puka Nua didn't get five catches. Devonte Adams had like two catches for 24 yards. The Cold absolutely impacted the Rams. But shout out to the Rams for winning. Cold impacting his brother. They got the dope.

Got the win. Yep. Uh last one I got for y'all. We got a $100 super chat. They didn't say anything. Sorry. It looks like you might have been having some trouble. You retracted the message. We will get to it. Feel free to drop a message.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Trump said $100 and then put a message, but the the $100 stays. So,

hey, drop your message IN THE CHAT. HEY, BUT SPEAKING of the Rams, let's show them some love.

Speaking of the Rams, I do want to talk about this because the Rams ended up winning this game 20 to 17 going to the NFC Championship again with Matthew Stafford in this game though. You know, the the the Bears had 417 total yards. I believe the Rams had about 340. Do you guys think that the better team won this game? Yeah. What you mean? Yeah. They won. They they like you said, them boys from Hollywood traveling. They they've been practicing 70 degree 80 degree weather all week. They go down there to Chicago. What was the weather today

out here? Oh, Chicago. Felt like nine. Okay. Felt like nine. So, and then they played the game, then they won. See, the thing is like it's going to be up and down. It's going to be some good, going be some bad. They found a way to get it done. I thought that the offense would be a little more explosive today.

Um I thought the defense played solid overall, but they won the game. And I think that their better team, I mean, if anybody asks who's a better team out of the Bears and the Rams, like for example, they're they're on the road. Who is favorite? I

think the Bears should have been favorite in this game before. Was the Bears favorite? No,

the Bears favorite. No, the Rams were the Rams favorite. The Rams are Yeah. So, the Rams are a better team. You got a coach that's more successful. You got a quarterback that's super successful. You got a team that that's won already. They won a championship and they good. They good on offense and defense. So, I think the better team won and they found a way to win. It's so hard to win on the road in the playoffs. and Matthew Stafford and them boys found a way to do it.

Here's why it's hard to argue what Shady said. Sean McVey at this point in time is a better coach than Ben Johnson. Yeah, Matthew Stafford at this point in time is a better quarterback than Caleb Williams. So, the better team is the Los Angeles Rams. Now, you thought that the Colts should have been enough of an advantage for the Bears to pull off the double,

which it was though. Yeah, you're right. Like, it was close. But the reason you got to say that the Rams are the better team is the Rams are such a complete team. Like the Rams defensive line, they got after Caleb Williams. the Rams run game, 87 rushing yards from Kairen Williams. Even though Matthew Stafford didn't have a great completion percentage, Stafford still found a way through 270 yards through the air. And Puka didn't get crazy busy. Uh Damonte Adams didn't get crazy busy.

Two catches. Damonte had two catches. Exactly right. And then the Rams defense, you still got three turnovers. That secondary doesn't have a ton of names, but shout out to Cam Curl. He ended up showing up. I think had 10 plus tackles, got himself a pick. Shout out to him. Uh Quinton Lake was making plays. Kobe Durant was out there making plays. So, even though the Rams secondary is is kind of a more nameless and thankless unit, three interceptions in the biggest game of the season, you got to give credit where it's Duke.

Hell yeah. Car Bear, what you think though? No, I I I agree. I think the better team did win. I think the Rams are one of the most complete teams that we have in the NFL and and I I think or like left in the playoffs. I also think their defense like stepped up today. They stepped up whenever they needed to. They made the plays whenever they needed to, just like they have been for the majority of the season. And also moving forward, they they're going to have a very familiar matchup with Seattle and whatnot. But I I think I think the the answer really lies in what Shady said at first. Shawn McVey and Matthew Stafford. That's that's that's the combo for me. That's the that's the most proven combo in this entire playoffs. And it showed late in that game. Even though they had the three and out early on, they got that opportunity back. They were not going to waste it. You saw throws like this one

right here. Matthew Stafford, I mean, with just uh delivered a dot right here to Devonte Adams to be able to get them into feel like or closer to field goal range. I Yeah, I I think I think I think the Rams were the team that were supposed to win this game, and I think the Rams are are the team that has the best chance Super Bowl.

The reason to me, let me not get distracted with the statement I'm about to make, but I'll change it. The reason the Rams are the better team, I believe it came down to Shady Kieran, like two third and seven, second and sevens. Caleb Williams pick, if I'm not mistaken, was on like a second and seven. Yeah, you throw the ball, he makes an errant decision, miscommunication pick. Remember, the Rams, too, are in field goal range. High field goal range, but field goal range. Second and seven, Matthew Stafford throws the ball, too. And I'm talking to Shady, kind of watching the game, talking to him like, "Yeah, but he threw a fade. Matthew Stafford's going to throw a fade. It's either going to be incomplete or it's going to be caught.

Can't lose." Yeah. If you throw the ball with Matthew Stafford on second and seven with the game on the line, Shawn McVey doesn't have to worry about an interception. Matthew Stafford's 37, 38 years old. I think he shady draft class. He's seen everything. He's been through everything. He's veteran. So Matthew Stafford knows, sure, if I see the box is loaded, I'mma throw it, but it's not going to be a pick.

Caleb Williams is young, maybe 22, 23 years old. Caleb is like, okay, I'mma throw it, but it might be picked.

I'm trying to make a play. Exactly. Where whereas like more veteran teams, veteran quarterbacks, you understand when it's time to make a play and when it's not.

There's no way Matthew Stafford throws the interception Caleb throws at the end of the season. At the end of the game, Matthew Stafford might have thrown A PICK, BUT IT WOULDN'T have been that pick.

But I think also, man, like some of that's coaching, too. And I love, and I'm not saying anything bad about Ben Johnson, but maybe put that in his head. Hey, look, don't we got him where we want him at. Don't try nothing. Don't don't force nothing. That's the worst. Don't force anything. Where I think Shawn McVey don't have to sit at the Matthew Stafford. You know what I mean? You know what I'm like you he just knows he's he's been in league for so long. He's in my draft class in 2009. But that just shows you that that that experience matters though. But it'll be a time where Caleb Williams will be more experienced than other quarterback and he's going to make the same plays that Matthew Stafford has made. You know what I'm saying? So it's all about just the timing and experience.

It's nice to see the Rams can win an ugly game. We know the Rams can win pretty games.

That's very true. We know the Rams can win 38-35. Hey, did the Rams beat the Seahawks or lose 38 35? beat the No, no, they lost Seahawks. Yeah,

but like but they was winning the game. Yeah, they were winning the game. Like we know the Rams are capable of winning shootouts.

It's nice to see the Rams win in ugly overtime. Things have gone wrong. Weather is bad cuz like they won't get bad weather again the rest of the season. I think the Super Bowl is

they they go on the road to play Seattle next on the road in Seattle. Super Bowl in San B. You're not getting cold.

Seattle be getting cold though. Yeah, you're not going to get snow at least. Well, you're not going to get Yeah, you're not going to get snow. get rain. You might get rain, but I mean like rain shady knows and I can attest to this. Rain is way different than feels like 9°.

9 degrees going to make some people tap out. Like 9 degrees some people just don't even want to play. Rain is just like this is annoying.

They playing that like 9 degrees is like it's good to see the Rams win a game that was ugly, a game that was cold. And honestly, like you got to be very confident in this Rams.

But tonight, you know what? Tonight showed me that that I think that the Rams, this might be their year again. Mhm.

Everything they need. Like you go out there and you get Devonte Adams. He need to have a big game, but we needed him to be special. He was special. Puka been great all year, but this is what this game wasn't one of his best games, but when he needed to make plays, it wasn't always in the air.

Look about that that that uh he had two reverses, not two two um the jet sweeps like those first downs, those matter. And then they got a Pro Bowl running back, Kairen Williams. Yo, they they have a really good team.

Um and I think this year, man, they go back. I just text Aaron Donald probably like while I was watching. I said, "Dog, imagine if you just wasn't like satisfied and you took the $30 million that you left on the table and you played this year."

Well, you you said that to him. Yeah, cuz I like to tell my brother like you left $30 million. Anyway,

D, you make your 30 million and you play you you GET ANOTHER RING. IMAGINE THAT DEFENSE with him over there. Oh my god.

Yeah, you're right. You didn't even mention this though, too. All of their competitors haven't been there before.

They have. Like like none of those other teams have been there before. You got Sam Darnold, you got uh you got Jared Stum, and now Drake May. All of those guys, they haven't damaged.

If you are, man, let me speak on this for a moment, Shady. Correct me cuz you were there. The last time the Rams went to the Super Bowl, I think they had to go through like a team, a formidable team and the Niners and a coach that been there.

Um, did they go through your Bucks? Did they have to beat y'all that year? They beat the Bucks.

Yeah. Okay. You weren't there, but Okay. So, they had to go through Tom Brady and the Bucks. Like it was like some some veteran dogs they had to go through in order to get to that Super Bowl. And then when you get to the Super Bowl, you got Joe Burrow waiting for you.

Like like cool Joe Burrow waiting for you. That beat Mahomes. Did bingo. Did it beat Mahomes. Bro, now

you get to go against a Drake May that has beaten CJ Straoud and may have beaten Jared Stumm or a Jared Stum that's just Jared Stum. You got to go against a Sam Darnold

like like Stafford. And this is a conversation. We we'll really elaborate on this conversation tomorrow. If Stafford gets another ring, is he uh a Hall of Famer? Like period because that's the conversation I've seen online. If he gets another ring, is he automatically a Hall of Famer? What's your early thought?

You don't got him a Hall of Fame now? That's what I'm saying. No Super Bowl MVP.

About MVP this year. Uh yeah, he gets that MVP. Yeah, you get MVP plus Super Bowl plus all these passing yards.

Come on, man. Yeah. And looks like he's going to play another three more years. Yeah.

MVP, two Super Bowls. At that point, you're you're past a lot of guys. A lot of guys you you start talking about early balance.

Early early balance is crazy. Yeah. Early balance. Like maybe maybe first. YO, WE GOT 10,000 PEOPLE IN the chat. WE DO.

WE GOT 10,000 PEOPLE IN the chat. That's the norm. That's the That's the norm. That's the norm. IT'S LOOKING IT'S LOOKING REALLY 10,000 OF Y'ALL WATCHING THIS SHOW RIGHT NOW. HEY, ROUND OF DROP a round of applause. Drop some clapping hands emojis in the chat if you watching this show right now. 10,000 of y'all which means nobody better leave.

Damn, y'all being held hostage. Hey, what Mike Tomlin say though? We want volunteers.

Before we go, but real talk. Yeah, that's right. If the Eagles was in the playoffs right now, WE WOULD HAVE 20,000.

JUST SAYING. I'm just saying. You're right. But you'd have 30,000 just to hate on Shady. That'd be

yo 10,000 people that are love watching cuz we have 20,000 people hate watching.

Yeah. Yeah. Like this is a much more peaceful channel. Oh yeah, for sure. Because 19,000 people, true story, if y'all are watching, 19,000 people watch just to hate watch Shades Eagles lose,

but y'all are here just to celebrate. It's beautiful thing. Come talk about these Patriots, please.

Yeah. No, we can talk about these Patriots. Well, actually, let's talk about Stra.

Yeah, I was about to say, hey, we can't talk about the Patriots yet. I STILL GOT SOME ENERGY.

HEY, I'M NOT going to lie, the player with the game ball for the Patriots is who we're going to TALK ABOUT FIRST. CJ STRAD had himself a bad game. I mean, uh, we'll start off by taking a look at this pick six that he threw to Marcus Jones. 10 to7 ball game. They're leading and and and this just a back breaker for the Texans. Oh, it's just tough. And obviously a lot of pressure in his face and whatnot. Marcus Jones ends up returning it for a touchdown. Now, four interceptions on the day. I think he had three or four in the first half. Yeah, four in the first half of the game. Fellas, we got to ask this question though. Should CJ Strad be the Texans franchise quarterback moving forward?

Shady, may I? It's your show. What we witnessed today from CJ Strad was an abomination to the game of football. You realize CJ Strad had a 28 passer rating. Dang. You can spike the ball on every single snap and have a 39.6 passer rating. nearly double the pass rating CJ Strad had by playing today. Houston Texans defense is a generational caliber defense and Straoud went out there and wasted it. This is no hyperbole. CJ Strad threw a ball so inaccurate that his player got injured trying to catch it.

Yeah, Cade Stove. That is how bad of a game CJ Strad played today. If you are a Texans fan, you have to question if CJ Stout has the ability to get it done long term. I love the players having his back. Will Anderson, you are a leader. Demo Ryan's coach, you are a leader. They stood 10 toes down and had CJ Stra's back. But if you were objectively analyzing the game, the only way the Texans lost today is if CJ Stout did what he did,

which is have so many turnovers that even this generational defense couldn't overcome. Your allp pro edge rushers gave you five sacks collectively, including three force fumbles. And you couldn't do nothing with that. You couldn't do NOTHING WITH THAT, STRAOUD. YOU WERE ACTING so careless with the ball like a middle schooler at recess JUST THROWING IT UP AND YELLING 500 Straoud. LIKE ALL YOU had to do was protect the most precious thing in the game of football, the football, and you didn't do it. So any criticism of CJ Strad today is earned. It's earned. And it's not hyperbole. I've already broken down the tape. When y'all are done with this show, I already broke down all the CJ Stout interceptions. I've already watched it. So many of them were careless. So many of them were careless.

Sometimes the pocket were clean. CJ Stra's tight ends are 6'4 and 6'5. They're fully extended and the ball's still high.

Like, let me stop before I say something reckless to him. He today had as many incompletions as Drake May had pass attempts. Yeah, it was bad. And four interceptions.

And the worst part is the defense plays so great. Defense play so great where they were making all type of plays. It was one point where I'm like, damn, they got four turnovers and they're only up 11.

That's how good the defense is. And I watch this game, man. I'm I'm'll be honest cuz I'm a big CJ Stra fan. I don't know if he's the guy for the future cuz like his rookie year was phenomenal. I'm like, damn, this the worst he's going to look. He's got to get better. Then the next year I'm like, okay, h not what not what I'm thinking. Okay. Then then this year, I don't know, man. You you you held them boys back. It's one thing to have a bad game. It's another thing, too. All his passes was laid

was behind defenders. I'm like, damn. Are you you can't be this bad. He can't be this bad. So, there's something there. And I always said, you know, Ohio State quarterbacks never really do good in in the pros like they do in college. And I always thought that was different with CJ Stra. Now I'm at the point where if the Texans gonna go anywhere, it can't be with him because it's not just this game. Did y'all watch the Steelers game?

He didn't look good against the Steelers. I'm like, damn. Like you trying to get his game up. He was so careless when you're in the playoffs, right? Everything every small mistake is is is magnified, right? And now you get to a point where he was playing like it was a preseason game. Let me try this pass. Let me try that. Demo Ryan, he's doing so well with this team right now. And some of these picks, some of these passes, some of these decisions are terrible. CJ Stra, I'm not sure how far they can go with CJ Stra at quarterback.

I truly I truly believe that the hard part is this conversation because like Stra one, he a good dude, but we we keep it objective and speak easy. He had a great rookie season.

Yeah. But like since that great rookie season, it's just been downhill. And De Mo Ryan's a faithful man on and off the field. was like he's faithful and loyal to his players, but there comes a point in time where that faithfulness might cost him and the broadcast made a good point like Texans have tough decisions to make

because CJ Stra 25 is fifth year option. You got to pick it up this offseason. I ain't and how much is that?

Probably 25 26 million. I'm not paying $26 million. Yo, it was some it was bad picks. High balls getting tipped. Yo, I remember the the I think the second pick he rolled out. I'm thinking, all right, there's nobody open. There's a defender come dirt the ball. Simple stuff you taught in high school

and you trying to make plays throwing picks. Yo, and then but the same thing is

he looked the same way against the Steelers. Just that the Steelers defense is not as good as the Patriots in my opinion right?

Yeah. I don't know, man. Like I if he' have took care of the ball today and let's say he didn't have a great day, they still haven't had a chance to win this game. He took this team totally out of the game.

Yeah. You get you get what I'm saying? Like if my office is playing bad, cool. It's going to be a nailbiter.

But CJ Stout played so bad. He he didn't give his team a chance to even come close to competing.

You can't win like that. No. We showed the pick six earlier and and what what really threw me for a loop though was coming back out that very next drive with with eight minutes left in in that second and then going out here throwing a high ball that ends up getting tipped and intercepted again. like he just the time the the battle the field position battle was just completely lost and you and you ended up being down at halftime when you really didn't have to it like like you said those four interceptions were were just really

AND WHERE'S THE DOG AT LIKE JOSH ALLEN yesterday I mean he threw a lot of picks but you seen the dog COME OUT YOU SEE HIM TRYING TO FIGHT THE WIN I AIN'T SEEN NO FIGHT I AIN'T SEEN NO FIGHT SEE THAT STRAP I seen playing the game playing bad looking sorry sore for himself I got some mouth yeah another thing I don't like yo I hate a player that's moping around the GAME WHEN IT'S YOUR FAULT. COACH.

NOW SOMETIMES NOT LI NO WIDE RECEIVER sometimes do it, running backs do it, we ain't getting the ball. So that's kind of coach the quarter QUARTERBACK WHEN YOU'RE THE QUARTERBACK AND THE BALL'S IN YOUR HANDS. WHY YOU MOPING? YOU THE ONE GETTING ON THE PICKS. I'M SITTING AROUND LOOKING AT HIM LIKE WHAT THE man is. It's a teammate, a real teammate. Go next. Hey man, step out of this.

Stop out like a GIRL AND PLAY TOUGH. WE NEED YOU. We sometimes that real quick sometimes in that game he was moping so much like it was fault and and you the problem. Let me let me get this oo5 because what kills me is like seeing a player with no emotion when I need you to show up.

No emotion. LIKE I WAS LITERALLY thinking like is it a California thing? You know the whole California COOL NARRATIVE LIKE LIKE STRA LIKE SO I JUST WANTED TO SHAKE HIM. WAKE UP. PLEASE

WAKE UP. LIKE STRA, YOUR SEASON IS hanging in the balance and Lord only knows if Denil Hunter's going to be back and Lord only knows if Aziz Zir is going to be healthy and Lord only knows if Stingley and Last and Peter are going to be healthy and Bulock is going to BE HEALTHY. LIKE GOD ONLY KNOWS IF WILL Anderson's going to be healthy again. Like we do not know if you will have this opportunity again. WAKE UP STRAOUD. LIKE SOMEBODY GIVE HIM SOME SMELLING SALTS. I ALSO THINK for you it's like having a defense as good as they are, brother. You were throwing

BLTs. YOU WERE THROWING HOT HAMS AND CHOP CHEESE IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT SECOND HALF. HERE'S my thing. AND THEY STILL HAD YOU IN THE GAME

because here's the other thing that really runs me hot. It runs me hot. Oh, we going to get to that, too. We going to get to Should Hey, ask the chat. I know you're working hard. Should they have benched CJ Stra? Ask the chat. I need those conversations. Tik Tok, too. SHOUT OUT TO THE TIK TOK FAMILY, TOO. ANYWAY, LET ME COOK. LET ME COOK. WE HAD A GENERATIONAL defense hanging in the balance. But the only way you become a generational defense is if you win a Super Bowl. People

2013 Seahawks. Reason they're generational, not cuz they was good, because they won a Super Bowl. You realize the Seahawks had number one defenses in 142 and 15.

But why do we say the 2013 Seahawks? because that's the Seahawks team that won the Super Bowl.

2015 Broncos, they won the Super Bowl. That 200 and maybe two Bucks team, they won the Super Bowl. That 2000 Ravens team, 2000, THEY WON A SUPER BOWL. This Texans defense is generational. But guess what? I won't say it. I can't. Now I just got to say, hey, they were an elite defense. Now I just have to say, hey, they were a really good defense. It was some It was a keep to TJ Ward. I think they were online talking about it like, "Hey bro, y'all's too quick to count them as generational. You can't call a defense that didn't get past the divisional round generational." I was going to tweet. I was like, "They're right.

I can't say anything about that." Yeah, but but come on, man. Man, come on now. I I hear that. But you watch these Texans, bro. That defense is scary. Who? I'm an offensive guy. Who want to play against them?

Nobody. You can't run. Nobody, right? The quarterback is uncomfortable the whole game. But real quick, I ain't talking about I'm talking about CJ right now. Another thing about CJ Sh I'm thinking about is man some players didn't have a great game today right like the running back I think Marks he he let he let one go he didn't really play bad but he played good

CJ yo I don't know if you noticed now he was the only person that looked so bad today

and it's like it's hard to encourage this one player cuz on offense we might have a bad offensive game maybe the passing game is not HERE THE QUARTERBACK NO IT WAS ONLY YOU

IT WAS ONLY HIM AND MY thing is how we gonna go forward with this you can't have these type of two performances

against the Steelers now against the Patriots and we move forward. Yeah. They got to bring somebody in there in camp to compete because there's no way that you can go with that.

Here's what I need y'all to see cuz Shay I I'm sorry. I'M GLAD Y'ALL ARE HERE AND I'm sorry y'all are here cuz I hate having this conversation cuz I really do love CJ Stra.

Demo Ryan's at the presser. He said something today that I vehemently disagree with. Vehemently. He said, "Um, it's my fault. I got to be better." Demo. No the hell you don't. H. It's D's fault. ONLY QUESTIONABLE THING Deco Ryan did was punting the ball on fourth and 18.

But it wouldn't matter. They won't It won't matter. That's the only questionable thing Demo Ryan did THE WHOLE GAME. PLAY THE sound real quick so y'all can be as mad as I was.

Keep your head up. I love you. Like I got your back. And that's what I told him at halftime. This whole team has your back. Like we we're in this thing together from day one. Like it it doesn't change for me. like we have a really special group, a tight-knit group. You know, when things don't go your way, you have bad performances, it's not a a time to point fingers or say it's on one person. If anybody It's all It all starts with me.

Lie the head coach. That is a lie. That is not Demo Ryan's fault. It was one person's fault today and that is CJ Stra.

You know what's crazy that But that's what coaches do. That's what good coaches, head coaches do. I hear Andy Ree would say that. He say, "It's my fault. It starts with me. I'M LIKE, COACH, NO ONE THINK IT'S US. BUT THE THING IS, AND that's cool, right? And after the game, you supposed to say that. I like I'm a good team. I would say the same thing. Quarterback looked terrible today. Yeah, we could have helped him out. We could have did better. Cool. After that's over, we shower up. We We go back to Houston, right? We may take a week or two

and then we have a meeting. You know, the GM, the owner, the head coach. We got to make some real decisions because we cannot go anywhere far if our quarterback is playing like that. And it's not this one game he played like that twice in a row. Another thing is now that dudes like Bo Nicks, who I thought CJ was better than, I don't know now, right? He's they're gonna get better in Denver with Shawn Payeyton. Now that guys like Drake May, well, he's already up for the MVP in his second year.

He's going to get better. AND PATRICK MAHOMES IS OUT THERE, DOG. He's rehabbing like, damn, I'm coming back from my throne. Lamar Jackson, I don't I don't know how how long you think the Ravens are going to be out the playoffs. You get what I'm saying? Joe Burl, if he can stay healthy and stay out the training room, they going to be back in the playoffs. There's a lot of teams that I forgot about Josh Allen, right? After they wipe them tears off in Buffalo, they gonna be back to being a a contender. So, NAMING ALL THEM QUARTERBACKS, RIGHT? And our quarterback in Houston, we got this great defense, great running game, and he losing games.

Yeah, y'all got to think about that. No, I mean, they definitely do. And also, I think Shady, you brought it up, I think it was a week ago or two weeks ago, the the San Francisco 49ers defense, the year that they made the the Super Bowl, I think, or or it might have been the NFC Championship. You talked about how great that defense, how amazing that defense was. We couldn't even remember how good it was because they didn't go out there and win something. Like going out there and winning something is huge. We also got to hear from CJ Stra. This is this is uh sort of that demeanor that you were talking about, bro. I'll let you take

I look back at this season and just, you know, just once again just I can't just be anything but grateful for the teammates I have, the coaches that I have,

you know, this organizations, city of Houston, the fans. And I just um I look back and I just I I just feel like I let people down.

Pause. Pause. Pause. Sorry, Shady. Pause. Please bring up Josh Allen's clip from yesterday because I'mma be honest. I want to see some tears. CJ Strad, you need to cry over that performance. Weep. Tears. Y'all remember that uh what was in the Bible? Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus starts sweating blood. Mhm.

I need to see some blood from some capillaries. Was that blood? Jesus. He want to go to the cross. I need to see some BLOOD FROM SOME CAP.

WAIT. OH, HE was he I know he was he was he was tripping like he was acting scary and all that, but he was he was he acting God. He like if you could any way you can chase this thing, please.

I'm not trying to throw the crown thorns on. HE LIKE, "BRO, PLEASE PICK ANOTHER BROTHER. BUT IF I GOT HIM, DO IT. I'M GOING TO DO IT. BUT REAL QUICK, HE swing blood. Now you know I know the book.

He was he was sweating blood too. I know that. I need like I need to see this. Bring this up, bro. This what I need to see from Stra.

Let my let my teammates down tonight. You're emotional. Pause. Pause. Pause. PAUSE. PAUSE. BRING ME BACK. Bring me back. Bring me back. That's what I need.

One inhale. Yeah. One rough tough. Yeah. Just And a whimper. You just lost the girl of your dreams, bro.

I NEED AN INHALE AND a whimper FROM YOU. STRAOUD, GO BACK TO the Straoud clip. I I need a

an inhale and a whimper. I NEED THAT COMBINATION. YOU WAS THROWING ALL THEM PICKS. YOU WAS GIVING ME PICK COMBINATIONS. I NEED A I need that. Let not this.

I have, the coaches that I have, you know, this organizations, the city of Houston, the fans, and I just um now I look back and I just I I just feel like I let people down. And um you know, not not happy with that. And

um you know, it hurts. I think he's still seeing ghost from the football field. I think that might be what was going on.

But Shady, why you make that face though when I said he lost the girl of his dreams?

Yeah, I mean, you crying with that like he can't. But yo, but yo, real talk though, when when they when Josh Allen said it, his team teammate started crying like, "No, he ain't let us down." I know his teammates was like, "Yeah, yo, we appreciate that. We appreciate that." You know what I mean? Thanks for being real. Like, come on, CJ.

I just seen Bryce Young like two uh what? Yesterday. Yeah. And we was talking. I was like, man, you know, good season, you know, build on it. You know what I'm saying? And he was like, you know, I got to get better. I got to

I need to say that for CJ, though. Yo, and I don't want to hear the words. I want to see it. I need to see it. It's also different, too, because you're not there without Josh Allen.

If you're the Bills players looking around. That's true, too. The Texans are like,

"Bro, we might have been able to win this with Davis Mills." Bro, you know how mad you have to be if you're a Texans defender. Will Anderson had three sacks and two forced fumbles. Denil Hunter had two sacks, all pros,

and a force fumble as well. They showed up, you feel me? And they scored on like catches and all,

man. That's crazy. They showed up. Now, here's the other thing though, and this is where like now De Mo where you do have to take ownership is all season you got to figure this out. Got to

cuz if I'm being honest, Bobby Slowick, offensive coordinator, De Mo's rookie year, that's the best offensive coordinator they had. brother.

They got rid of Bobby Sloic because like he wasn't doing enough. Yeah. Laramie Tonsel. They got rid of Laramie Tonsel because, you know, locker room and cap casualty, they needed some offensive line help. Offensive coordinator was in disarray the majority of the season. So, this is where defensive-minded head coaches, y'all got to figure out this offensive thing cuz I won't be surprised now if CJ Strowder was on his third offensive coordinator in four years.

Look, brother, listen. I I bring some there. I'm thinking Malik um Willis. Oh, you replacing Stra.

Bro, this is the thing about football. Yo, the window was so small, right? I look at the Niners. That's a Niners and the Cowboys are my biggest example.

The Niners roster was so strong. I want to say was that 2022, 2023. Strong. I'm like, damn, they have a window to win the championship. Now look at them. Now look at them, right? I don't think they're winning no championship no time soon. Okay. And let's go to the Cowboys. Yo, say what you want. The Eagles roster was crazy. Yeah,

the Ners and the Cowboys, they had all pros everywhere. I'm like, yo, I was nervous like, man, that window of championships, they might come back like the '9s and it's gone. And now they're not making the playoffs. I'm being serious. You look at the T or look at the um Tennessee Texans.

Houston Texans. Houston Texans. Thank you. The defense is so strong, the secondary, the corners, THE DNS, RIGHT? EVENTUALLY, THEY GOT TO GET PAID AND they not going to be able to keep them all.

Correct. Talk about then what happens? Yeah, this this is really the window small. You got to go out there. You got to get the players right now to win,

guys. What happened? Five sacks, nine tackles for loss. Come on, man. Four forced fumbles.

Come on, dude. And you lost by double digits because even those four forced fumbles you have, your quarterback gave it up more than they did. Five turnovers for the Texans today. I mean, like,

dog, what what what can you do, man? What can you do? and and we will get to praising the Patriots momentarily. The reason I haven't started praising the Patriots is because when you go back and watch those picks, those were not miraculous interceptions. That's my

I watched all of them first. YOU THROW IT YOU THROWING IT TO HIM. EVERYTHING WAS LAYING BEHIND HIM. YO, ANOTHER THING IS YO, IT WAS SOME of that was so easy where he's maybe like 10 yards away and he's throwing behind. I'm like and then Carlson Davis, right? I think he's a solid corner. I played with him in Buffalo or um um with the Bucks in Tampa Bay.

He don't just be catching picks. That's not what he do. AND EVEN THE ONES HE CAUGHT, HE WAS LIKE FUMBLING IN THE KITCHEN.

YES. See that St. You That's You Man, that's a no no. I bet I see you in a club nowhere in LA.

Yeah. Aro, you know what's even worse? I'm just going to give a football in the middle. Just give a football in the middle of the club. Take that. Take that dog.

Aro, you know what's even worse? What's up, yo? The Texans defense did not give up a single point after all of their turnovers.

That's true. They only gave up the Texans defense, bro. First interception, the Texas defense goes out there, they get a fumble. Second interception, uh, it's a pick six, so they didn't even get a chance to defend that one. The third interception, they get threeandout PUNT. FOURTH INTERCEPTION, THREEANDOUT PUNT. THEY DID NOT GET I'M SORRY, LATER IN THE GAME, FUMBLE. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE FUMBLE? Threeandout punt.

That's crazy. THE TEXANS DEFENSE DID NOT give up a single point after these turnovers. AND YOU WERE SO UNBEARABLY ass on the offensive side of the field that you couldn't make that work. That's a generational defense. That's a special defense. THAT'S ONE OF THE BEST defenses we've seen in a decade. ONE OF THE BEST DEFENSES IN HISTORY AT THE LEVEL that they were playing towards the end of the season. Here's the thing, dog. And

hold up, sir. And it and it got so bad as I'm watching every pick the defense is running on the field. I'm like, damn, how they they must have knew when they got to like second down, they seen a drop back, they was grabbing their helmet, going on the FIELD CUZ THEY KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE A PICK, DOG. AND AND AND I'm being funny right there, but I'm being serious about with this one right here.

They was embracing it. I don't know if yall seen it or not. They pride, you know what I mean? Okay. Yeah. Well, we going to GET IT BACK.

YOU AIN'T SCORING PICK OR NOT. YOU AND YOU NEED A defense like that. My thing is, man, you can't go far with a team like that. You can't.

And here's the thing, though. You can lie to the media. You can lie to Texans fans. You can lie to the opponent. You can't lie to the players in the locker room.

What you think? Stingley, Lacer, Aziz, Bulock, Petri, Anderson, Hunter. What you think y'all saying? This blank sucks, man. Hell

talking about Stout. No, that's exactly what they say. Every Thursday night, usually offense would go to their own offensive team dinner and defense, at least when I was in Philly, we all team dinners. Defense all getting together. The group chat for the Texans defense right now is like, "Bro, this mother suck, bro.

They didn't give up a first down." Like, because if you're the Texans, how can you go back into training camp next year and run this joint back and with the same full confidence in Stra?

Like, how can you do it? You You can't run this joint back and be like, "Yeah." And and Will Anderson, shout out to him, he said, "I still believe CJ Stra's the best quarterback in the league." He said that in the lock at his locker.

I like Come on, man. That's media talk. cuz if we see him and we going to talk, he not going to be saying that. What you talking about?

What? Like I was going to say uh that was a great point that Shady made because uh we just had Bullock in here and and he was like

anytime the ball gets turned over, we want to make it our job to go and just make sure that we can put the ball back in CJ's hands. They believe in him. So Shady, I think I think that's a good point. Like they they look like, "Okay, yeah, it's cool. We gonna go out there. We're gonna get the ball back in your hands and let's see what you can do with it." And unfortunately, he just decided to do nothing with it. Um,

nothing. Well, I know super chat's going crazy. Super chats are going crazy. So, uh, I'mma get to them. They they in my head saying I didn't read the ones from yesterday. Look, y I cannot read every super super chat that that we get. The two and fives and tens. I'mma get to them as best I can. But we got a $50 super chat from AOT bar and said, "Y'all want to know what is funny? Shady said he doubts CJ wouldn't play as bad as last week." And my boy said, "Hold my jacket." and then threw four picks in the first half. CJ CJ literally needs to get invested.

Jacket is Hey, hey, I did bad last week. Oh my yeah, watch this. Who said that?

That was a AOT bar. That's pretty funny, dog. Y'all funny in the chat tonight, yo.

Yeah, facts. Um, Whiskey Demon said Caleb's a hero for throwing three picks and losing me at four. But, uh, Bo is barely better than his backup, beating Josh Allen with the team whose highest paid player is Russell Wilson. The disrespect isn't surprising, but still, damn.

The disrespect to who? To Bo, I think is who he was saying. Bet. We gonna get to Bo. We going to get

um Yeah. So, another another one I got. We got Naa, I think, uh sent two $20 super chats, but didn't say anything.

Okay. Shout out to you. We love you. Yeah, if you want to say something, the the floor is still yours. The Donathan says, "J got outplayed by secondyear quarterbacks and a quarterback who was missing most of his starters. He may have to get out of his head and play football. It was just bad. Our guy Oh, go ahead.

Go ahead. YOU GO. VICONE IS BACK in the building with a $50 super chat and said

CJ was a dumpster fire today, but moving forward, do you think he would benefit from a top shelf offensive coordinator? He might be the system tailor to him.

Yeah, that's some See, I hate I hate this. Uh oh. Right. The the quarterback position is the only quarterback is the only position where we just make excuses.

Why a new coordinator to do the [ __ ] he did today? Bro, you you know what I'm saying? You got it was like, man, it was great defense and it was good defense, but he was giving some of them picks. Some of them pass you shouldn't have been throwing,

RIGHT? COME ON, DOG. YO, TREY, now I don't know if you ever play quarterback or not, but you could have said, "Look, man, don't do that."

I I feel like they want to make an excuse for CJ. This is two weeks in a row that he's looked awful. And it's not about the the coaching because some of them plays wasn't bad play calls.

Yeah, we can't do that. My quarterback plays to jackpot in the neighborhood. That's that's about as much quarterback as was a quarterback. He can speak to

if a running back fumbled a rot. We not saying, "Oh, he needs a new quarter." If a wide receiver is getting jammed up, he needs a new. No, it's only a quarterback we do that with.

Yeah. Uh, we got another $50 super chat from just training 4702 say, "Aro, you named a lot of defensive players. Name an offensive player. When is Demarco going to help CJ develop?"

De Mo. But that's the thing, like I mentioned that this is my dilemma with defensive-minded coaches is y'all better figure out this offense and stop playing because right now he's going on his second offensive coordinator in three years. You're probably going to make another offensive coordinator switch. Now you're going to be on though. See I don't like that part because some of them plays dog bad balls. Is that the coordinator too?

I think no. But I think I think I think regretfully they did a couple things. They fired Bobby Slow it regretfully cuz now he's getting like head coach or offensive coordinator interviews. He's with Mike McDaniel right now.

That's the first dilemma. Then Laramie Tonsel, you know what I mean? Cap casualty. But now CJ going to have to the dilemma now is the Texans are in a crossroad. You either got to pay CJ or you got to let him walk. And in a perfect world, you got a chip out of him before you have to do either.

Yeah. You feel me? This was a year to get that chip out of them. They got one more year though before it's before Yeah. So

So you think he'll have a big market? No, not right now. But right now, he doesn't have to test it cuz they still got him for another.

Yo, if this was one year, I'll say cool. This is two years in a row. He hasn't looked that good. Outro.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I can't argue. Hey, we got 13,000 people in the show. We got 13,000.

We got 13,000 people in the show right now. WE DO. EVERYBODY IN A DOLLAR. That's a good point.

THAT'S ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD. YEAH, that's actually phenomenal. But hey, hold on now. Now we doing that black pastor tie stuff.

Close the doors. Close the door. Close the door. Close the doors. No, they asked for more than a dollar,

right? He asked for 40,000. He said, "We ain't leaving the speak easy till we get 40."

What a dollar asked for a $65 million jet. You know what it was? If it's a $65 million that the Lord wants to see me flying in,

then a 2900 uh Neo. I do have one $100 super chat and then I know we got to get back to the show. I can't do So, he was the one that sent the $100 earlier and messed up. So, he said, "You know what? Big bank take little bank. send a $100 AGAIN.

WOW. SAID, "Had an error with the last $100 super chat. Last comment is too late now. So, I'll take this time to show love. Y'all have the realest sports show out here. Inspiration for my business podcast coming soon. Also, you need a nickname for your listeners or chat. That's why we call y'all the Speak Easy family members."

Yeah, cuz it's a family in here. He showing that money. And keep doing your thing, bro. This show is just a byproduct of some faith and a lot of dudes committed. My dog 25, my dog Care Bear, dog social trade. We branded out a little studio space. Like, don't let us fool you. Don't let all this stuff fool you. This just some commitment and some fellas.

A lot of money out of AO's pocket. A lot of money out. Who said that? Who's that?

That was uh I can do 413. I like that movie. You can tell he got two girlfriends.

Oh yeah, that's Philippians 4:13. That's a Philippians 4:13 right there. I can do all I can do. I can do all things.

Y'all didn't hear what Shady said. I'm trying to correct Shady. What? What' you say, Shady? Run it back.

Consider he got two girlfriends. But Shady, BRO, MY DOG GOT A BIBLE REFERENCE in this whole super chat joint, bro. He's a faith.

I've seen a lot of people with Bible Bible references also. So does Kirk Franklin. Stop playing, homr written right here. He does some wild stuff bro.

You're right. You're right. Look, before we get moving though, uh there's one super chatter I wanted to read. Rob Mar Jr. said, "Damn, baby. Throw that playoff stra back. I can handle it."

Oh my gosh. That's any rap video, right? They going to have a whole bunch of stra on there.

That's it. That's it. Just stra everywhere. Round of applause, baby. Make that stra clap.

All right, we got to keep it pushing. Uh the Patriots, they also won this football game. They're going to the AFC Championship. The New England Patriots, uh dark period is over. It was a real rough four years. Boston, you have another championship caliber team. Uh there's this map right here of who the entire USA is rooting for, the Patriots and Broncos AFC Championship game. I don't think anyone wants to see a Jared SDM Super Bowl. So outside of, you know, the state of Florida, New York, and and and Denver, I guess, uh or in Colorado, I guess. Uh for them

cuz Pennsylvania, they they hate the Patriots. Yeah. See, that's what I'm saying. I I don't know. I don't know how they came to this conclusion. But do you guys think this is the Patriots Super Bowl to lose?

Hell yes. M Patriots, I would have to say, are the most complete team left in ball cuz now here's what we got to get to. Drake May was taking a beating. But the Patriots out Houston Texans, the Houston Texans, the Houston Texans whole mantra is beat you down until the end of the game, wear you out, and then run the ball on you until you can't stop it. It's what the Patriots did. Patriots took the ball away from the Texans. And then finally in the fourth quarter, as great as the Houston Texans were defense is, and they are phenomenal, when the Texans needed to find a way to go three and out, now all of a sudden, Raandre Stevenson, Trayvon Henderson, first down, eight-yard carry, eight-yard carry, 8- yard carry. Patriots offense wasn't getting eight- yard carries all game. But come the fourth quarter, they had worn the Texans down. The Patriots out Houston Texan, the Houston Texans, they the most complete team in ball. So

when I look at it, you have a Patriots defense that's veteran and a Patriots defense that's savvy. Shout out to Marcus Jones. Nickelback got a pick six. Phenomenal player, a captain, and a leader on that team. And then Drake May was getting waxed, but still made two plays that were as good as you will see in football on script. That pass to Bouty, phenomenal. That other pass on the left side, uh, Stefon Diggs and Diggs caught it. Phenomenal pass. And like Shady says, shout out to Stefon Diggs. Phenomenal catch.

Give him his credit. Give him his credit. Phenomenal catch. So you got to say Drake May has played as good as Matthew Stafford all season and again today he played as good as Matthew Stafford.

I got the Rams. So but if I'm just talking that Drake is playing at a phenomenal level and then that Patriots defense, come on man. Come on man.

If I pick a team though, I'm going with the Rams. They battle tested. They on the road doing it.

Um and and they coach is a is a Super Bowl winner, right? I I just think, man, they have everything on their side to win. Um, and then you can't like there's no way you can like substitute experience. They experienced team, experienced quarterback, experienced wide receivers, experienced coach. They hungry though. So, I don't know. We gonna find out real real real real soon.

Yeah, I think I think the Rams in in all honesty would be a huge step up uh in competition if the Patriots ended up having to to play them. Just from the offensive perspective, I do think the Rams are the most complete team. The Patriots though, however, it's weird because they've had such an easy schedule we've said, but now we're seeing them against the good teams and we're seeing, hey, Drake May is still the same guy. Drake May still that MVP caliber dude that's not turning the ball over. He's making some plays happen.

Now, he did have some fumbles today. He did put the ball on the ground a couple of times today, but you're finding ways to win. This is the Patriot way. This is really this this is just what they do at the end of the day. So, I I I think the Patriots are good. I think they I think they do win on the road against Denver next week. I I I don't think Denver's going to really have too much of a shot with a backup quarterback out there against this Patriots defense. But

but bro, think about this for a moment, bro. Against Derek Stingley, you threw a 354yard bomb.

Yeah, you got busy and not even a diggs against Kamari Lacer and I think it was Bulock.

You found diggs in that vacant window. You went up against the Texans defense that made Aaron Rogers look decrepit and you had three touchdowns and a pit. I get you had some fumbles. Obviously, you had some fumbles in there, but like you had three touchdowns, G. And then y'all rushed for a 100 plus yards on this Texans defense. Now, majority came in the fourth quarter,

but that's what it is. There was a a clip I highlighted last week. Texans played the Steelers. Demo Ryan said, "Wear him out on the sideline."

It's what the Patriots did to the Texans. Like, all right. Can we get some context in here?

What's the context? My man threw four freaking picks, man. Come on, y'all. But the Patriots had to get him.

Drake May did turn the ball over. No, we No, no, no, no. I'm talking about You talking about the offense for the Patriots,

dog. On offense, if we getting turnovers from other teams, that's the best thing for our offense to do. And if we being technical, I ain't do much with them.

So eventually, yeah, we going to get tired. I'll try. I'll be on the field the whole game.

Agreed. But to me, I'm saying, so wait, wait, and last thing, you think that the Patriots play great today on offense?

No. No. I'm saying considering considering who they were playing, bro. He had four turnovers though, dog.

But Shady, I'll tell you like this. If we would have said Drake May would have three passing touchdowns. Like that's good.

Listen, man. That's good. Like I like Drake May and all that. Shady, the Texans offense hasn't The Texans defense hadn't given up like more than 21 points but twice in the last like 3 weeks.

I know. But or three months. Yeah. But when you get a unique situation where you're always on the field the whole game, they're human beings. They ain't no aliens out there. They get tired, too. They get frustrated. They're human. and and every time you make a stop, you you you get a break, you go on the bench, and two plays, you back up because your quarterback throws a pick. Like, they human. Any any teams don't go through that. What I'm saying is I thought the Patriots overall, they just managed the game well because the quarterback was playing so bad for the Texans.

But I think the offense played great and they ran the ball at the end of the game cuz now we dead tired. We want to fill the whole entire game.

But I'm saying everything you're saying play like that. I'm saying kudos to the uh uh Patriots for allowing that to happen. Like that's what I'm saying.

I'm saying but you was speaking as if like you was talking like about Drake May like they just did so great today and that's not the case.

Uh don't we can't context. You you can but he can't turn the ball over three times against against the rest of these teams like he you can't do that

against the Broncos. Against the Broncos you could because I don't think they have anything back on the opposite side of the ball the same way you could.

I guess yeah that's fair. I was like, but the Seahawks going to do the same thing.

Then why is the then why is the praise around Drake May and not the defense? But for me, obviously the defense did great. The defense did great. CJ Stra just gave so many of those picks away, but the defense did great. Mark Jones pick six great. Yeah.

If you throw for three touchdowns against this Texans defense, kudos to you. Like I I don't know how many quarterbacks have thrown for three touchdowns against them all year. Now factor in Shad's context, right? Turnovers and all that and all that and all that. But like if you throw for three touchdowns against this Texans defense, that's a good job. We've talked to Texans DBs on our show.

I I get that. But what I'm saying is so first of all, you already talked you're on the field all game. You get four turnovers and they want to score off them turnovers. They wasn't. Okay. So then you eventually you going to score a whole game. You got four quarters.

Yeah. All I'm saying is yes, the the Patriots did enough to to win the game for sure.

But you giving a lot of credit to the offense. I'm thinking like cuz they scored some touchdowns, you had the ball off game.

Yeah. It the truth of the matter was it was it was the Patriots defensive off his plan and the Texans defense plan.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, the reason why I said earlier though it's the Patriot way. I think it's because

finding those ways to win is is really what what what a Patriots quarterback whenever they are winning it does, right? We've seen Tom Brady turn the ball over three times in multiple playoff games and he has a winning record in those games and and it's because hey, whenever we need it most,

we know you can you can go out there and deliver. Now, it doesn't look like a double- digit victory like it does today. And normally whenever he has those three turnover games, but I I'll go to the their first drive of the fourth quarter, right? The the Texans, they get a field goal on the third, they get another field goal on the third. Now, it's only a four-point game. They give the ball back to the Patriots. And we already know if the Patriots score a touchdown on this drive, the game is done because there's no way the Texans are going to be able to score twice in this last quarter when they haven't been able to to to to finish a drive all game long essentially. Drake May then goes on a touchdown drive and throws a just a dot like a a beautiful ball to Kan Bout in the back of the end zone or on the side of the end zone on Derek Stingley.

I I think I think Drake May made some plays today. He made some plays today. Now, can he put the ball on the ground four times? No, I don't I don't think I don't think he should be doing that uh moving forward, but we'll see. We'll see how it looks uh going forward. But like you said, Acho too, who's going to punish him for for making these mistakes? that part. I I do not think, especially after watching and obviously the weather played a factor in the Rams today,

but I don't know who's going to be able to like go out there and go up and down the field on this Patriots team. I just don't personally see it. I don't see a team being able to go up and down the field on this Patriots team. I think this Patriots defense is too good. I know the Broncos and Jared Stam aren't going to be able to do it. The Seattle Seahawks aren't going to be able to do it. Matthew Stafen and the Rams might be able to do it, but there there isn't a 2013 Denver Broncos offense out there. There isn't a 2019 Kansas City Chiefs offense out there. There's just not. The Rams are a good offense, but it's not even like the Rams are a generational offense. They're a really good offense.

So, I I like the Patriots. We'll talk more about that, but I like the Patriots. We got any super chats I'm missing. We got any super chats that I'm missing. It's been a hell of a show. I don't want to miss that.

It has been a hell of a show. Um I did miss a super chat from earlier. $50 joint from Dustin Russellberg 9477. That name is familiar, so I appreciate you doubling back. Said, "Missed last night's show. Watched it this morning. Look at the Megatron rule where a receiver has to maintain possession throughout the catch. Also, he would have caught it and hit the ground. It would be a fumble or an incomplete on the Bills game."

That's true. Yeah. Y'all work on them typos, though. I I can't be, you know, I mean, I got a lot going on. I'm I'm doing back here behind this computer. Okay. I don't have time to decipher y messages. RS said, "Does Stra get an extension? If so, how much?" We answered that. DJ's wife 2044. Shout out to our lady uh super chatters and speak easy family members.

For sure. Said, "First time super chat. I'm a few years into this football thing. Thanks in large part to you all. This chick can hold her own talking ball and my husband loves showing me off." Okay. # bleeding green #hawks. Got our revenge. Go birds. Hey, if the Speak Easy going to do one thing, it's going to make sure y'all sound smarter in y'all's conversations. If we going to do one thing, that's what we going to do. Shout out to our ladies in the Speak Easy, bro.

Yeah. Yeah. Listen, we love it. We love it. Um, so yeah, you got the one from Rob. We got another one. Yeah, Dustin. I got your $50 one, brother. You didn't have to send the 20, but we appreciate it. We'll take it. We will definitely take it. Uh, last one I got is a $5070 Canadian.

Canadian dollar. Okay, I like that. Rome, I'm getting it, bro. In the back. Uh, Priest 7584 said Drake May didn't play great. I agree. But are you holding the Hail Mary pick at the end of the half against him? He's got to work on those fumbles, though.

No, no. I I I don't think we're holding the the Hail Mary pick against him or honestly, the interception wasn't neither here nor there. It's the four fumbles for me, putting the ball on the ground that many times. And I see a lot of people in the chat spamming, well, he scored three touchdowns against that generational defense that he did. first touchdown was against was like early on their scripted drive at the beginning of the game and he made some great throws to do that. But also like the Texans played an amazing defensive game today even with the three touchdowns. The Patriots had 15 possessions. It's four more possessions than the league average like like the defense was on the field over and over and over here. But here the only reason I disagree with Shady and I disagree with you is like

sure context but also use context of the picks. I don't think the fatigue had to do with Drake May's ball placement to

No, that's I don't think the fatigue had to do with Stefon Diggs hand strength. You know what I mean? Like I feel the fatigue had to do with the the the Patriots running the ball in the final drive. But the reason I give the Patriots so much credit is because like that pass to Bouty, Derek Stingley could have been tired. He could have been 100%. Fatigue ain't had nothing to do with that. That was perfect.

It's not even fatigue for me though. It's in 15 possessions. I'm expecting an NFL team to be able to score on on three of them. Right.

Oh, got that. Like that's that that's my thing. Yeah, understood. But no, look, uh, moving forward, is is that all I got? Okay, that's all I got. Moving forward, we do need to talk about this matchup that the Patriots are going to have. AFC championship is now set. We have the Broncos. Jared Stdum taking on Drake May and the Patriots. Uh, Nick Fos put out a tweet, uh, Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP. He said, "Note for the Broncos and their fans. I know it has been an emotional 24 hours. I feel for Bo and the team and I'm sending prayers and strong recovery. A positive note going into the game versus the Patriots is that they struggle against backup quarterbacks in championship type games. Uh calling his shot there early.

Uh do you guys have any faith any faith in the Broncos? And Jared Sidum next week. Nick wrote this stuff.

Nick's funny. He he hit me up two days ago. I don't know. He talk like that. I like Okay, Nick. Okay.

Okay. You got faith 25. You you was talking hot about St. I mean, my thing is just like I and and I think Bo Nicks is is is a is a good player, especially good young player. I think what makes him really really unique is his um I think his dog inside of him, right? Because he shows it at times. Um the grit he plays with and also his legs. He's super athletic and he runs. But like I think under Shawn Payeyton, I mean look at his track record with backup quarterbacks. They going to just get smoked, right? They had a really great defense for a reason. They're going to run the ball well what they do and then he's going to make passes. I just I mean obviously I I do think that Nick or um

Drake May. Yeah. No, Bo Knicks. I think Bo Nicks is a better quarterback than Stenham.

I do believe that. But I don't think it's a super big gap. I I truly don't. Other than the athletic ability,

you know. You think the Broncos can actually pull it off? Yeah, I think so. I mean, everything you need the recipe to win. They have great defense. They can run the ball. They have a great offensive mind head coach and coordinator and Shawn Payeyton. Why can't you even and if and if another thing if you had Bicks against the the Patriots would I mean the Patriots can still win that game too, right? So I just I just think everybody's making a big deal as a backup but if you really was looking at the quarterbacks, yes, Bick is better, but I don't think he's just way way better. I know I was telling Alra this the other day like sometimes when fans hear about backups or the number three dude or like yeah there's a reason why they are the backup or they are the number three but there's not a like the number three wide receiver for I don't know okay let's let's take the Patriots

oh I think Stefon Diggs is still like that you know I think he's still one of them them dogs you would say he's the best receiver on the team

of course but the number two the number three dudes I don't think they way off of Stefon

Digs look at the games you get what I'm saying so I'm not here you backing up sitting or nothing like that. I'm just thinking that he's he's he's he's serviceable to win and they have all the help. It's not like he's out there going out there throwing for 40 attempts. Yeah,

you have the running game. You have Shawn Peyton. You have a great defense. It's everything you need to to compete and win.

I think we'll find out in the second drive if the Broncos have a chance. I think Jared Stum in the first drive, he can put a veil over our eyes. First drive, first 15 plays, those will be the plays that Jared Stidum is most comfortable with. John Payeyton is going to go to Jared Stumm. Katie can correct me if I'm wrong. Hey, what are you most comfortable with? Like those first 15, cool.

But now once we got to get off scripts, Ditim, what's up with it? I I can't in good faith say that the Broncos with Jared didd have a legitimate chance to beat the Patriots. To me, it's disrespectful to the Patriots.

You know, you know what's funny, though? So, we watched the game against the Bills, right? And I think the the Patriots defense is way better than the Bills defense.

Mhm. apart in the second half before before Bo start getting off. I think he had like 25 yards, something like that in the second half. Do you remember last game? I'm thinking like, okay, well, I'm waiting for him to to turn it on. And it's like that did happen and we not really going to talk about that because he started playing well at the end of the game, but instead of him goes there and he looks bad for the first half, are we going to look at the same way? Because we have more confidence in Bick.

We have more confidence in both. You see, do you see what I'm saying though? Like this is crazy because like why get a guy like Shawn Payeyton, the Broncos was terrible, right? They bring Shawn Peyton, everything just changes. G give him some type of credit. Defense, you know, you talk about the the Broncos that have this defense.

Give him some credit. Let's see what they do. And then the running game being able to run the ball. I just think like for us to say that these professional dudes just can't get it done now because the backup. Look at this. The um the Eagles Nick Nick Fo is talking all this talk. But the truth is people felt the same way about the Eagles and we didn't have they didn't have no real superstar players like that.

We going to see though. That's a good point. Yeah. In in the second half of that game against the Bills Bonicks before that touchdown drive they went on had 25 yards and an interception in the second half of that game. So it's not like the Bills it's not like the Broncos are are strangers to lols in the game and whatnot. But I think if that opening script is good I think if they if they're able to maybe jump out early on them it's a home game as well.

What about keep it close? Yeah. Just keep it close. Keep it close. The problem with keep it close is still you were asking forget a backup, right?

You're asking a quarterback that has taken like 50 snaps all season. Yeah. Forget the backup part.

A a dude that's taken 50 snaps all season to come out and win the game. I'm worried about that.

That's the issue because at the end of the day, like Shawn Peyton can't throw the ball for Jared Stum when Jared Stdum's heart is

cuz that's what it's going to be doing. Shawn Peyton can only say so many words to calm him down. And so that's the tension at large is like has to go play the game.

To play devil's advocate, it's Drake May's first ever uh road playoff game. And he just had an offensive line that got whooped. And we've seen that offensive line get whooped against elite pass rushers multiple times this year. The five sack game this year. It was Miles Garrett against uh against this Patriots offensive line. Today, five sacks against this Patriots offensive line. The Denver Broncos have one of the best pass rushes in the entire NFL, Nick Bonito and whatnot. If they go out there and get busy, if they can force some turnovers, if they can force fumbles like we saw today and get short field, I I trust Shawn Peyton and short yardage to be able to get touchdowns at the end of the day. So, if if there ends up being turnovers, this game it's not I'm not saying it's a wash at the end of the day.

It's not what I'm saying. This why I like working with the likes of Shady or people way more talented than me. It's also why I like understanding who the hell I was in the game of football. I'mma be honest. I could do all the tackling drills in the world. Social trade, I could do all of them. Coach will roll a ball AT YOUR FEET. HEY, COME TO A BALANCE, NACHO. SHED THE BLOCK. HEY, TACKLE THE LITTLE DUMMY. ROLL ON THE JOINT. But I have to go tackle Shady in the open field.

Not my coach. Yeah, THIS DRILL THAT I'M DOING, I HAVE TO GO MAKE THE PLAY. It's all fun in games. Hey, Aacho, cover one. Shady going to He's going to run an angle route. He's going to run a text route. You know what's coming. Stay on his inside hip. Track his inside hip. at the top of the route. He's going to try to stem you. Just keep your eyes on his hips. Got you, coach. Ready? Blue 18.

READY TO GO. I HAVE TO GO DO IT. SO, it's all fun and games saying Shawn Payeyton can script this and script that and script this, but at the end of the day, and Jared Stum can be 10 times greater than me. I'm not even saying that I'm as good as Jared Stum, though. He hasn't proven anything, but he can be 10 times greater than me. At the end of the day, he has to complete the pass against Christian Gonzalez.

He has to do it. Yeah. like he has to get. It's not like pros though. Like you you in the pros, but remember there's levels to it.

Okay, but hold up. So there's other backups that played well in big games like Nick Foes. You want to use him for example? He don't count because he played good, right? And then we seen him on other teams and he didn't do as well.

But here's the difference. I had this argument yesterday and I'm glad you were on that team. We were both on that team. The 2013 Nick Fos won the Super Bowl in 2017.

But before 2017, you were on the team. 2013 Philadelphia Eagles. I'm talking to y'all. Shady know it. I'm just reminding him. 2013 Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Fos had 27 touchdowns, two interceptions in a season. So like we have seen Nick Fos be good. Even remember before Nick Fos had to win the Super Bowl. Philadelphia Eagles started maybe 11 and one with Carson Wentz or something like that. Fos still had won several games before the Super Bowl. So like one I don't think it's fair to even compare STDM to Fos because I think Fos was just significantly better. He had 27

touch but he did have games in the playoffs run but he didn't look good. Right.

No, I disagree. I don't to your point I don't think he looked as great as everybody made him out to be but that that playoff franch he never was bad ever.

Okay. So the first game they play against the Falcons. Yeah. He didn't really go crazy. I was at that game.

Yeah. He didn't go crazy but it's still good. So he was it was serviceable. I got other game. Okay. So let's not use Fos. You don't want to use FO.

Yeah. I don't I think FO was outing. What about the Chiefs though? I forget what year that was where

Chad Henny and Yeah. Do you want to use Chad Henny? Cuz they win a game and everybody say oh Mahomes ain't what they gonna do.

Wasn't it a half? I think you were there because it was a drive. It was it was like it was a couple of plays and then they ended up having I forgot someone else came in at one point

Matt Moore but you remember Chad Henny his Jags game. Yes. But all all I'm saying is that like we acting like like if if the defense wasn't as good and they couldn't run the ball and Shawn Payton won there. I would be real nervous.

Mhm. But they do have a good defense and defense and they know like damn first of all our starting quarterback

our defense like okay we got to we got to make sure we we start the game off the right way.

Yeah. Let's get that straight. We we acting like Bo Knicks is like Josh Allen or or or or or Patrick Mahomes. No, the defense with Bo Nicks like okay, we got to make sure we handle our business for right. Okay. And then they feed off the offense. He feeds off the defense. Second secondly,

they can run the rock. And then the third point is like Sean Pay, he's built for this. This is why you pay the big bucks. That is true. You know what I mean? THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE A GUY LIKE THAT. OKAY. YO, so now that we can't Oh, I got another one for you to think about it. when they couldn't move the ball in the game with Bo Knicks. Did you see that crazy ass play that that uh Shawn Payne dialed up?

Remind me the one where with the the post and he and he and then um he they rode they rode all the way to

Oh, the throwback joint. Yeah, the throwback. Come on. Yeah. ST CAN'T MAKE THAT PLAY. Come on. Chase Daniels can make that play. YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING? LIKE WHAT I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU IS THIS, MAN. Just because we got starters, we got this, we got that, I get all that. I'm I'm cool with that. But there's some backups, yo, that are serviceable.

Yeah, that's all. That's fair. Yeah. No, that's fair. I mean, yeah. Any super chats we got going on?

Um, we do have a couple super chats to get to. Yeah, that So, Wilkins 8805. I don't want to mispronounce your name. Could be Gerald, Jerel, I'm not sure. How are my Hawks the most complete team? We're the number one scoring uh defense in the NFL and top 10 on offense because you, you know, you called the Patriots.

Sam Darnold. Yeah, it's because of Sam Hawk. Yeah. Yeah. Wait, wait. Seahawks. Yeah.

What the what he say? He said, "How aren't my Hawks?" How aren't my Hawks? How ar the most complete team?

Come on, man. You know, come on now. What's up, Shady? Sam, you know. Come on now.

What? Sammy Darn. It's Sam Darnold, bro. Yeah, he plays when when someone on your own team is when when when he answers a question about like, "Oh, how do you feel about like him, you know, being able to get it done to the playoffs?" He's like, "Oh, we we have a lot of help around him."

Instead of saying like, "Oh, he can do it." Like come on, man. Yeah, that's rough.

I was going to speak easy. Ben Hogan Jr. said, "You expect a generational defense to allow three touchdowns. Texans had the ball for 27 minutes. Pat's defense did their job. Pat scored against Texans after Texans punt and May and wide receivers their thirds even after all the turnovers. Earned their earned their three touchdowns. Sorry. Even after all the turnovers.

Is that saying like the Texans defense isn't generational?" Yeah. But I also said I won't I won't call him generational.

Yeah. Cuz I do think it's fair that like you you got to do something generational.

Yeah. And doing something generational is winning a Super Bowl plus having the number one scoring defense in their one total defense. You got to be I mean the generational defense y'all remember the 2013 Seahawks held the Denver Broncos the best offense since the turn of the century. They held them like six points.

Yeah. That's generational, right? This Texas defense was crazy. Like I will forever say like dang they was crazy but I won't say they were generational.

Yeah. I mean just not anymore. Scoring touchdowns on short fields three and outs. Like I I get it. I get it at the end of the day. Like but also the Texans defense it this should have been a super blowout. Like this should it shouldn't have been remotely close.

Like like the only reason why the Texans had a fighting chance in this game. It should have been over in the first half.

Yeah. It should have it should have been over uh with I think it was like eight minutes left in the second quarter. That's when it should have been over. But yeah, I it takes a lot to fight back when your team turns the ball over five times and make it a competitive game. I think

especially on the road. Yeah, like especially on the road. I got two more $50 super chats to get to getting back to the show. Momo 16471 said just back. So y'all make sure you see my other comments, lol. And to add to those comments, this Hawks team would not have been getting build out at the end of the game to win against the Bears and Panthers. to prove my point about the Rams defense. Eduardo Selenus, shout out to all the Selenuses. We got one in the back said, uh, if Sam played with the the Texans, he wins the bowl, easy shady, all love, but that man is miles ahead of CJ. Love the show, guys.

That's a good question. Sam Darnold or CJ Stra? Man, I'm going give the uh, man, that's crazy. Sam, you got to give

me the Stallion, Buffy, uh, the Bobby. Yeah. So, so, so, so let me ask you, Shady, you you in you in a strip club, right?

Okay. And you you got you got the bands with you. You got a couple rubber bands in your you know, couple knots in your pockets right?

And a and a CJ Stra joint walks up to you. And a Sam Darnold joint walks up to you.

It's tough, man. Who you popping a rubber band on? God, can't have both, huh? Can't have both. You can only pick one. Only one can go to the bike with you.

I'm gonna go with uh the mic. CJ, cuz right now I mean Now, is that recency bias? Like, she just got her body done. So, she, you know what I mean? So, it's recent.

CJ did just get his body. He just got his body. He fresh off Dr. Miami's table.

Yeah. Facts, though, cuz CJ was always like crazy. CJ was not always built like this.

CJ. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. CJ, that's a good point. So, what you taking CJ to the Yeah. The way that the way that that thing Yeah. That that wagon was dragging back to her. She

the way that thing looked today was crazy, man. Yeah. Yeah. K. Crazy 215. Our Philadelphia resident says, "Shady, I know Eagles fans been on your neck. You know better than everyone. Our default setting is angry. I just want to say I compare every Eagles running back we have to you even though my older brother say Westbrook was better."

Listen, man. I love my Philly people. That's why I love them so much. You know why? Cuz they passionate,

you know, and they got their opinion. That's cool. Um, but I got my opinion, too. And when I see him out, we going to talk about it. It's all they give me. Hey, what's up, Shady? We love you, but why you talking about my And I I And I stop. I said, "Hold up. That's our quarterback." And that's and that's our team, right? I want to talk good about my team, you know? But I got to be I got to be honest.

Got to do his job, you know? Man, a lot of Listen, man. A lot of people that talk on these platforms and TV, they bite their tongue a little bit cuz they got to. And I've been doing that.

But I also got, you know, we lose and you lose, you get the heat. I'm okay with that. and and real quick Westbrook was a beast. So, I don't mind that. It's one of my favorites, too.

All right. Well, that's all I got. Yeah, that's all I got, folks. So, we talked about the AFC Championship game we have next weekend. Let's talk about the NFC side of it. The Rams going to be taking on the Seahawks. The Rams advanced to the NFC Championship for the first time since the 2021 season when they won the Super Bowl. Matthew Stafford MVP. Hopes uh still, you know, uh justified here. Uh moving forward though, guys, who do you trust more in this NFC Championship game? The Rams offense or the Seahawks defense?

Rams, period. Rams, Seahawks. They've played each other twice this season. Matthew Stafford has five touchdowns, no interceptions. Sam Darnold has two touchdowns, six interceptions. Let that sink in.

It's not a conversation. The game of football is all about the football. Matthew Stafford got five touchs, no picks in the two games combined. Sam Darnold got six picks in the two games combined. Average three picks a game. If Sam Darnold goes out there, starts throwing these picks, it's going to be blouses before it gets started. The other thing is this Rams defensive front can match the energy of the Seahawks. The Seahawks right now are playing with energy, right? Emmon War, he playing with energy. Julian Love, they playing with energy. Witherspoon energy. Jared Verse, Puna Ford, Young, them cats going to come out there and play with energy.

Puk and Aua get in the wait room. He gonna come out there and play with energy. Rams ain't no punks. So, as I see it, the Rams have to get the early edge to me 25. Rams have to be the early favorite. And I don't know that Shawn McVey and the Rams are going to come this far just to lose. McVey might not sleep. Like, he might just stay awake for the next eight days in order to make sure they get this dub. I'm going with the Rams, right? Talk about a team that's battle tested. Talk about a team that's that's been to the mountain top.

They've been there before. They know how what it takes. And I'm going with the quarterbacks, right? I look at Matthew Stafford. I mean, he's probably the MVP this year. And then I'm going with Shawn McVey. They have the advantage everywhere. Um, and then I think about the Seahawks, man. That defense, that defense is the real deal. But

that quarterback for me, man. Sam Darnold is bad bad, man. Like, I'm just thinking like if I

Yeah. game comes down to him. Yeah. You You have to think about what happened the last time they played and the Rams were up 30 to 14 in the fourth quarter.

Come on, man. Then Sam Darnold ends up throwing an interception, which we all thought was the the the game ender. Next thing you know, a series of crazy events happens. Rasheed Shahed returns a punt for a touchdown. They get the ball back. They end up scoring a touchdown. The Rams miss a field goal. Like everything wasn't going the the Rams way in that fourth quarter, but they were still up 30 to4. And against that extremely talented defense, Matthew Stafford had 457 yards in the

like nobody else in the entire league has made the Seahawks defense look like that. And that was also in Seattle. I think this is a Shawn McVey special. I've seen you two times already. I know exactly how to attack you. And you saw their their offense improve from the very first time they matched up against each other cuz that was a game where Sam Darnold had four interceptions. And then the second time they played, they were out there moving the ball up and down the field on the Seahawks defense. I think this is the Rams all the way. I have the utmost confidence in that offense against Seattle's defense. I think Seattle's defense is amazing and they've had a great year, but Sam Darnold, you're actually going to have to match punch. You're going to have to go blow forblow with with with with Sam Darnold. I not with Sam Darnold with with Matthew Stafford. I just don't see it happening.

I also think, bro, y'all got to remember football is all about confidence. The Seahawks beat the Niners so handed cuz they knew they could beat the Niners so handed. They had just beaten them.

Bro, Puka Nua, he's never been more excited about a game in his life. Yeah. First time he saw the Seahawks seven for 75. Second time he saw the Seahawks 12 for 225.

Puka like thank God I got to play the Seahawks. Like Puka licking his chops. Matthew Stafford licking his chops. The Seahawks secondary they they're frantic right now because when they turn on the tape because what you do when you're playing an opponent that you've played before, you watch the previous four games because you always watch the previous four games. You watch a quarter of football to figure out what they're doing. You probably watch in excess their most recent game. See what they have success doing. Then you watch the last time you played against them to see how did the dudes you match up against match up against you.

When the Seahawks got to turn on the tape to see how the hell they matched up against Puga. Throw all of it out the window.

Like you can't say, "Hey, this is what this is what worked." Nothing worked. Matthew Stafford had 458 yards. And remember that was that whole game when Puka was distracted and Puka had to apologize and blah blah blah. that was all that week, all that nonsense. Nothing worked. So Seahawks got to throw all of that out the window. So now the Seahawks are going to come into this game shady with like a whole new game plan. A whole new game plan that they haven't repped, that they don't have confidence in that they're just going to have to figure out if it works on the fly. Ain't no way. Ain't no way.

And it's it's going to be a game in Seattle now. Not 9 degrees like it was tonight in Chicago. It's going to be 40 about 40 degrees in Seattle. Uh clear skies, no no precipitation expected as it stands right now. But

yeah, I was looking at the weather for like a week down, so it might change, but

Seattle's favorite. Yeah, Seattle is favored at home, I think. Yeah, two and a half. Two and a half. Two and a half, right?

I expect that to That's a I think you get two and a half or three on No, you get you get three. You get three on the road. Yeah.

So, I mean, I just I don't what it would take for Seattle to win. I think you have to either score on teams or score on defense. You know what I mean? Like either score on teams, special teams. That's what they did last time.

Exactly. Right. Score on defense or like block a field goal. Like you got to you got to do you got to change the dynamic of the game. If the Seahawks try to play this game exactly how the game goes.

There's just no way, bro. You got to make Sam beat you. That's that's that's the key.

You know what I mean? Because I I don't know how confident he really is right now. Cuz when you a player like they say this in boxing where if you box he's so great, right? But his management always puts him as weaker dudes.

If he face if he fights somebody that's pretty pretty good, they put him in the weight claws. It's like,

damn. Do Do y'all feel like I'm good? Look at Sam. The way they've been winning, that's how we going to run the ball all day. Minimize your passing, your passes, right? Got to play great defense just for y'all to be alive. Rams, you take the running game out the way and you make Sam beat you.

Yeah. Yeah. And and if he does, kudos. Yeah. I also I think the Seahawks are a good team and I don't want to make it seem like we're just just like they're a good team. But I think the reason why I'm not bullish on them is the reason why I I don't think they're they're going to have a better performance next time is because they've seen the Rams twice. If this was a non-divisional matchup, I would have a lot of confidence that the Seahawks defense could present something that that the Rams would be surprised by and whatnot. And I expect them to play a better game than what they did last time. I don't think I think Sam Darnold I'm sorry. I don't think Matthew Stafford is going to go put up 450 and Tuka is going to put up 225 again, but

I still expect them to get busy enough. He didn't play that game either. No. No. And I expect them to go out there and get busy. So, that's just that's just how I feel about uh

is is there Kieran? What do you think fan perspective? What do you think the route to the Seahawks winning is?

Um, wow. I I was I was thinking maybe tonight would be what exposed it and it was going to be them being able to run the ball effectively. But I think seeing what we saw the Rams do tonight to the Bears running game whenever it mattered. I think was a telltale sign that that's not going to be the the the availability. You're going to need Sam Darnold to play the game of his life. I I genuinely think so. You're going to need Sam Darnold to deliver like he did late in that game against them the last time. Can you get that for four quarters of a football game? I don't think so.

But you're going to need him to make plays. You're gonna need Jackson Smith to make plays. You're gonna have to open it up.

Yeah, you're gonna have to open it up. Is is death to Seahawks. But I'm saying like that's

the Seahawks fans. Yeah. Like if if the Seahawks got to open the playbook up and say, "All right, Sammy,

it's your time now." Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah. The last time they played, K9 did get I mean K9 did get busy at 11 for for 100, but it was that one big carry that 55 yard that he had.

I don't if the Rams aren't giving up the explosives, I think it's going to be it's it's going to be a tough game.

Either way, it's going to be a good game. Like either way, that that game is should be much more exciting than the AFC.

It should be. Yeah, it should be. Yeah. Do you think Do you think it's the same thing that we've seen so far, which is like half and half, like half good games, half like some of them are blowouts? Oh,

I hope that AFC game is competitive. I hope. I think because the problem is it's probably not going to be exciting, but I hope it's competitive. This game going to be exciting.

I'll ask you this last last question for for you because you're the MVP voter. Do you think out of Matthew Stafford or Drake May, who has shown themselves to be more of an MVP caliber candidate during the playoff run?

If we're being honest, I think a tossup. Yeah. Yeah. Like I think it'd be a lie to say anything else. I think that and this is crazy, but I respect the Texans defense so much. I was more impressed by Drake May today than Stafford.

As crazy as that was, you can put the ball on the floor four times. Yeah, because Stafford had one play that impressed us, right? That throw to Devonte Adams was like the one throw that we all sitting in here watching like, "Dang." Yeah.

Drake May had like three plays that impressed us. You know what I mean? Throw to Diggs, throw to Boot Boute. Um and there's one more throw that I'm forgetting. So, like Stafford, you know what I mean? Like I think I think it's a tossup. I think they both

This wasn't one of those situations where I'm like, I told y'all so and so's the MVP.

Nah. Lastly, I'll ask you this. I won't ask your predictions because we're going to have more shows moving forward. But what's the matchup you do want to see in the Super Bowl out of these four?

Got to be Patriots Rams. MVP versus MVP. We wouldn't have known who won yet. I like that one. I agree. You know what I mean?

It's the other way. least watched Super Bowl in history, brother. Would we have known who won by then? Is the awards before the Super Bowl?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's Yeah, you're going to know. Yeah. NFL honors is a week of

MVP versus MVP. That would be That would be No, it'll be interesting. He just tried to play Koi like he's not an MVP voter. You didn't know that?

I don't know who won though. No, I'm saying I don't even go to the show. I only go toward shows if I'm winning.

I don't even go there. My thing told me I didn't need I won last year. Did you?

Yeah. Sh be there though. They pay me and all that [ __ ] though. But no, I I announced the Eagles. Who I know?

Was it in New Orleans last year? Who I know? Who won anything? Saquon. Seaquan. Yeah. Off player of the year.

That was pretty lit. Well, I do have some super chats to close out. G, we do have some super chats to get to. Um, Eduardo, I asked you what you mean. He said, "What the f guys? Give me a real take." I'm not sure what he was referring to.

What was What was his question? Uh, the original superhat the original super chat. Here we go. YouTube's slowing down on me. He said, hold on. So, he said the original one was uh missed last night's show. Uh the No, that wasn't Yeah, I don't know. We'll come back to it if we can, but sorry, Eduardo. I asked him to reply. He hasn't yet, I don't think. So,

Jerome, find it if you can. Keep going. Momo 16471 said, "Y'all talk like the Hawks are sweet. If you almost lost both games to us and needed six turnovers from us, that is not as repeatable as y'all make it sound."

Nah, I can't give him that. We can run the game plan back minus shade more to Puka. It's easy work.

Devonte didn't play last game though. That's what he's not gonna say. I I hate this. We almost won both. You also almost lost both. Like you like like you needed you needed a punt return. Miracle. What was the play where they threw the ball back? What was what was that?

Yeah, they like threw the ball backwards and the whistle got blown. That was crazy.

Yeah. And you Yeah, you needed That's exactly what it was. Forget about that play. That was crazy though. Yeah, you you needed a miracle two-point conversion and a punt return to be able to win the game.

All of our doubt is cast on Sam Darnold. We do not doubt the defense. We don't doubt Kenneth Walker. We don't doubt JSN. We don't doubt Mike McDonald. We don't even doubt Kubakat. The only person we doubt on the Seahawks is Sam Darnold. Like this ain't got nothing to do with the Seahawks. Ain't got nothing to do with the 12. Ain't got nothing to do with the greatest opportunity to have a shut up game

in history. And like if you you go out there, you beat the Rams, you punch a ticket to the to the Super Bowl and you play well,

everybody gonna shut up at that point. Everybody gonna shut up. I don't know. Shady, are you gonna are you gonna shut up about that?

Sam Darnold plays well in this game. Or do you still is it still your your philosophy of like he's a bad player that had a good playoff streak?

I mean like like you want the stats of a lot of y'all, but y'all know it, right? You don't need me to tell you that. You know, you watch him play.

Yeah. You know what I mean? Like you you is there anything that Sam Darnold can do to to change your opinion of him being a bad player at this point?

Yeah. Just be a good player. Like we talking about my man had six turnovers out of the last two games and and they they found a way to beat him and you get credit for it.

Yeah. Like that's crazy to me. I That's why like I like to watch the games. I don't want to go by these stats.

Yeah. Yeah. Uh so the Eduardo take he was he was just saying y'all y'all responded to it. He just wasn't happy with the response. So his his original was if Sam played with the Texans, he wins the bowl easy. Shady all love. But this man is miles ahead of CJ.

But I don't think so. Yeah. I think we had so many moments like CJ Stout. Yeah. Sam is Sam did this last year in the playoffs.

Doing this bad last year. Yeah. Remember last year in the playoffs versus the Vikings?

They forgot the Vikings in the playoffs. He was with the Vikings. He played he played the Rams in the playoffs and I think he got sacked nine times

in that game and I think he had like 27 27 to9. Yeah. Yeah. Like but like he was awful that game.

He was terrible. HE WAS BROUGHT UP AND THE FIRST THING they showed you was what face?

Crying face. He brought it up and the first thing they brought up was a bang boom. Gotcha. Boom. Bang.

Sam Darnold. No, I mean like dog I but CJ CJ was CJ was bad. Yeah, Sammy won. CJ CJ could have handed the ball off all day today and they would had a chance more of a chance than what he went out there.

CJ was awful. Yeah, he was. CJ was awful. Um Dominic Scott double backs the $50 super chat says Shady Ao, I got to ask you if Sam wins a chip before Lamar, Josh, and Joe, what does that do to their legacy letting other guys win on their watch? Not saying he's better at all. In fact, I see it being the team bowl if they do win it. There you go. See

the team bowl that people I don't care how much experience you got in the NFL. Like you saying it right now, right? The last thing you said was a team bowl cuz you already know.

Well, Lamar got to go out and do everything. But here's the problem is it would it would officially start to lay out the picture of Philip Rivers, Tom Brady, Pton Manning, Eli Manning.

Cuz Joe Flacco won one. Oh, there you go. And Joe Flacco won one. And Joe Flacco is not a world beater. He was a Super Bowl MVP, but he won one, right? I'm just talking that era of that great era. So this would be the Joe Flacco one. So the dilemma is I look at Philip Rivers and say, "Hey bro, if Joe Flacco was able to get one,

how come you ain't get one?" Yeah. You know what I mean? Ben Rothersburgger got his. Eli got his too. Payton got his. Obviously Brady was king, but like come on, bro. If Joe Flacco could sneak one in, come on, Phillip. So that's the only thing it does is now Darnold is the Joe Flacco.

Yeah. And then who's the Philip Rivers? Who's the Payton? Who's the We know who the Brady is. Who's the Eli? But like,

but if they never win one, what do you say then? Then one of them's Phillip. That's who's Phillip.

Yeah, that's the thing right now. Who's gonna be Payton? Josh is supposed to be Payton. And but Josh, you need to go get yours, please. We're waiting on it.

Yeah. I mean, Josh Lamar is Pton. One of them is going to win one eventually. But yeah it's

One of them's got to be Payton. One of them is going to be Phillip. One of them's going to be Ben. And then Darnold will probably Flaco

and that's what that is. Yeah. Yeah. Any more super chat, G? Uh, let me see. Last one. I got Vic Deone Jr. to Close us out, Victor. Close us out.

Said Care Bear is right. They will have to open up the See, look now. I'm not lying. Ao can vouch. You see it just crashed on me.

He said Care Bear is right. They will have to open up the playbook if Sam Darnold is going to have a chance of winning. Plus, he will need the Ghostbusters to keep Casper away.

Hey yo, do you know where you know where Victor Mo comes from? Uhuh. This whole time you know that.

Uhuh. Yeah, we talked about it. Yeah. Yeah, we talked about it. My dad got in the chat and was like, "Watch." It's the movie though.
