What this episode is about
In "Below Deck Med S10E15: F Boy Cryland," the hosts discuss the latest developments in the series, highlighting the show's shift to a new network and addressing technical issues with their podcast feed. They share personal anecdotes, including a humorous take on the challenges of dealing with a faulty refrigerator affecting their eggs, setting the tone for their commentary on the latest episode.
Key takeaways
- When mystery shows leave cliffhangers like 'who pooped in the shower?', they're just asking for the Twitter mob.
- Bravo's secretive editing on unsanitary yacht incidents: protecting guests or just avoiding a PR nightmare?
- Rearranging fridge shelves should not rival the intrigue of Below Deck's shadiest scandals—maybe stick to eggs?
- In the yacht world, pooping in the shower should trigger a one-way ticket to the nearest toilet, not viral fame.
- Joe's sorrow was less about loss and more about realizing he's the star of a cringe-worthy bathroom scandal.

Hi, Ronnie. How's it going? Good morning. Yeah. Yeah. What are you doing? Well, that's that's quite an assumption. No, it is a good morning. How's it going with you?
Uh, it's it's going it's going well. I uh I'm going to have to rearrange some shelves in my refrigerator because I'm afraid that a recent rearrangement put my eggs too close to a cold spot in the fridge that's causing them all to crack in the curtain and it's just it's very frustrating. So, that's the sort of day I'm having. What's going on with you?
You're freezing your eggs or what? Yeah, there's like a cold spot. I think it's like the airflow is not good in this fridge and so the eggs I don't know what's going on with this fridge. You know what that's what I've got to say. It's all it's all janky at the moment. They're it's too cold for its own good. Eggs keep on breaking because they're they're freezing over despite the fact that I keep I raised the temperature. I'm just you know I'm not having it. I'm not having it with this refrigerator anymore.

full coverage. We'll just tell you what happened. Basically, we didn't find out who [ __ ] in the shower and shoved it down the drain,
which was a real We all know who did it. We all know who did it. We all know who did it. He knows who did it. But I don't like mystery shows that end like that. That it's like, well, it's up to you guys. No, don't make it this whole big thing and this whole big plot and it's all over social media. There's news stories about it for Christ's sake, okay? It is in the news. It's like Venezuela, who [ __ ] in the toilet. I mean, who [ __ ] in the shower? That's what's in the news. And then you just say, "That's it." No,
I need more from you. Bravo. Below deck knows. There's cameras all over that boat. They know who went in at what time. It's not This is not a mystery. They are protecting the guests for whatever reason. I don't know why they decided to protect the guests. I don't know. Are they afraid of being sued for um documenting that someone went into the shower and shat in the drain? I don't know why they're protecting anyone on this. Why are they
I don't either. Stop protecting poopers. Okay. And also, we've been getting a lot of DMs and messages from people who work in hospitality in all kinds of places. Vegas, I don't know, just lots of places. I don't need to go through every individual email, but lots of stories of people doing this, just pooping down, like shoving poop down drains. And I just have to say, humanity, stop it. Just stop it. Enough already.
In the toilet. Poop in the toilet. And if you poop in the shower, pick it up with your hands and put it in the toilet and then wash your hands in the shower and stop being disgusting.
Exactly. Because you're already sullying one appendage by jamming it down the drain with your foot. So like I don't know how it's any different than doing it with your hand instead and putting it into the toilet. Like don't be ridiculous. Like be like try not to be like a barbarian especially if you're on a yacht.
Right. So, we didn't know who [ __ ] the drain, but we do know who [ __ ] the bed, and that was Joe. What a loser. What a [ __ ] loser.
So, it it was, by the way, this was this this was well, you know, he's a piece of [ __ ] But, by the way, the the post-production just must have had so much fun doing this episode. I mean, for such a sad episode. It was a very sad episode. This was V coming back, you know, on her on her birthday and she wants to celebrate the death of her boyfriend, this guy Bon who she really loved who drowned. And um the way they just keep cutting back to Joe crying, crying. He's not crying because Bon died. He's not crying because he feels bad for Victoria. He's just crying because he he feels like the piece of [ __ ] that's in the shower drain. Because for one night, he couldn't just keep it together. And you know, out of respect for V and her birthday and her boyfriend dying, he just couldn't even do that. So, he's crying for himself and crying because he knows he looks like a [ __ ] on [ __ ] on TV. I don't even think he feels bad
about doing it. I think he just feels bad. Agreed. That that it was caught on camera,
right? Cuz he was coming back with his Bravo like I'm Joe Bradley 2.0 and uh trying to pretend like he was a different person and blew it, you know, so he knew he was going to be getting mean comments on Twitter or whatever on Instagram and so he sobbed and sobbed and sobbed and sobbed and so also sobbing like that during someone else's like funeral or memorial service is just so gross.
Like you're such a gross person, Joe. Exactly. And meanwhile, you know, V is crying because this is a terrible anniversary. And you also have Kathy who just found out that her stepfather died like the night before. And she is a wreck, a full wreck. And Joe's going to cry. Like Joe's going to act like he's the the biggest um you know, victim of something terrible happening to him. And you know, you know this was he was crying about himself and not for V because spoiler alert to this episode, when V ultimately breaks up with him, not a tear is shed. He is not crying over the dissolution of that relationship. He is not crying that like she doesn't want him anymore. He's not moping around. There's like not one sense not not one sh not not one shred of remorse and there's not one instance of sadness. But when he is but in the last episode it's nothing but that because it's not about V in the last
episode. It's about his self-image. He's such such garbage garbage person. Yeah. Garbage human. So uh gross. So, we pick up in this episode and also that whole episode. I mean, that whole bond thing was really sad. I don't know the whole like the whole thing of like my boyfriend died so I'm going to cry on Instagram. Like that's so weird to me that people do that. But I guess that's just modern times, huh? It's just like I'm crying like hey guys. Like there were scenes of her being like hey guys it's me. I'm going to feel things today. And then she would go back on Instagram and be like hey guys it's me I'm crying. I'm crying guys. Like who does that? Why are you doing that? Stop doing that, V.
I always think it's weird. Just everybody stop because I know that people do that now, but that's like [ __ ] in the drain. Just stop doing it. Like, close the door.
Well, it's really weird when people go to funerals and then and then they take selfies at the funeral or they take like a picture with people. They're like, "Look at us
crying." You're like, "Why are you But like you're using this as as social media content, you know? I don't I don't know. It just seems like a weird thing to advertise you and people do it all the time and you know they'll be standing there or sometimes they'll even be smiling like hey and you're like you're at a funeral what's wrong with you but you know what I think it I will say that if someone is like crying on Instagram you know over someone who passed you know if this is their way of ulogizing them like that's fine to me but um but I think that people's behaviors with social media and funerals are really strange. I'm not going to lie. Like that's just not where I'm trying to do a selfie or not trying to be like here's my outfit of the day or or like look at us look at how sad. I'm also like not trying to like advertise how sad I am. Meaning that like like look look at me mourning. I'm like it's
one thing to get on social media and be express sadness for a person and pay tribute but like here is a picture of me standing in a suit at the cemetery. I'm like why are you doing that?
I don't know. I don't know. Yeah. It's weird to me like put social media. I don't I don't want that on my social media, you know? Or people's gym selfies,
but you know, we could be here all day with that. Good. But constant like I know this guy on Facebook who every day is putting himself shirtless on there. Like we see, you know what I mean? We see congratulations on your protein, bro. Like congrats on your macros. Okay, so I guess that's my request for the world. I have three requests for the new year for people. Don't [ __ ] in drains and leave it there. Don't take off your shirt every day for no reason and talk about your macros and also stop sobbing. All of those things on social media, please.
I guess the [ __ ] in the drain wasn't social media, so that was a little off. But
you get on social media. To me, that's equal as to just sobbing on social media. I don't want to see it. They're all things that I don't want to see on social media, so please stop it.
My my wish is still the same as pretty much all of what you said. Plus, I don't need to see your baby next to a little chalkboard that says how many weeks old they are. Sorry, I just don't need to see it.
I don't. Okay, so poop and drains. Give me an egg. Shirtless macros, uh, sobbing about dead people and your [ __ ] baby and how many days old it is. We don't We don't care about any of those things.
You know what? Just stop using social media, everybody. Just go by everybody buy a Kindle and just do that.
I care about the I care about the one I care about the one year. I care about the 18 months. I care about annual annual things here. Here's where I will be okay with it. If you do take that picture because you want to chart the growth, take a bunch of the pictures, take like 20 of them and make a carousel so it's just one fell swoop and then we can swipe through and it'll be like a flip book. Then we see the baby getting bigger. But if it's just like like, okay, here's week three and the baby is next to you. You put out the little board that has the little letters on it that says, you know, seven weeks. I'm like, I this is immaterial to me. I And I I get this. I say this as someone who puts up a picture of a cake. And I know people are like, why do I care about your cake? I get it. I get it. I'm not saying I'm not
Well, you can eat the cake. You can't eat any of those other things that we talked about. You know what I mean?
You can't eat babies. You can't eat the poop in the drain. You can't eat somebody's gym selfie. And you can't eat somebody sobbing. But you can eat a cake. Yeah. And I feel like with the cake, it's like, I didn't think this was going to work out, but look, it actually worked out. And I know you could say that about a baby, but I feel like the baby almost always works out. So, I'm just going to like the baby's always going to be a baby,
right? Give birth to a box. Actually, speaking of working out, like whether it works out or not, babies actually obviously don't work out a lot of the time, especially once they hit teenagers. Start posting their their fails as children. That's what I want to see. like my baby my baby hit somebody with a rock today in second grade and was expelled. That's what I want to see on social media. I want to see your your terrible parenting come to fruition
on social just saying you'll get my life babies. Yes, there are many it it it's very hard to it's much harder to give birth to a baby than it is to bake a cake for 35 minutes. But what I will say is that you always know like you're not going to be like I'm giving birth to my baby and then a tire pops out like it's going to be a baby. But with a cake, you just really don't know. Like as that's like it's craziness with a cake. It's
I don't know. I don't know if you've seen some of these kids on my timeline because I'm sure nobody planned that one. All right, let's get on with it. So, we uh pick up where we left off with Joe sobbing in the bathroom for himself and going, "What kind of man am I? Who even am I? Who would do this?" Oh, stop acting like this was 5 seconds of you just deciding to drunkenly make out with somebody. You were up that girl's [ __ ] the entire day and the day before that. Stop it.
Stop. At least Ky, you know, I feel like Ky's even getting more [ __ ] because of girl code and all that, which I get. But Ky's at least honest. She's like, "So what? I liked him, too."
I actually have to say in a weird way, I kind of respected Kizzy more than Joe in this situation. Uh, well, not not by much, but I agree with you. I think I maybe respect is a is is a stretch.
Respect is not what you mean. It's like I'm I'm more like I went more like huh. You know this when when V had her when she once she processed and started circling around to everyone and Ky was like, "Yeah, I'm not going to apologize cuz I like him and we've always had a connection and yeah, we just decided to kiss." I mean, it was definitely like [ __ ] and it was mean and it was a violation of girl code, but at least she was like she wasn't trying to soften it. She's like, "This is just where I stand, you know?" whereas Joe is just like full of [ __ ] and lying and they both are lying. They both are lying and acting like this was a spur-of-the- moment drunken thing and it wasn't. We all saw.
Everyone saw. So, uh, now he's he's sobbing. Um, and you know, part of the problem also with his relationship with V is that it never was like a proper relationship. It was definitely a Madonna horror complex situation going on where because she had a trauma in her past, he treated her like she was some sort of special porcelain doll that like could not be had to be you have to wear special gloves with and like she's so delicate and it like well it was just never going to work out because he was never really seeing her as like just a full-fledged human. He just was treating her like this special thing that if he could treat this special thing. Well, it's like that science uh experiment is that the the the project you do in when you're a kid when you have to take care of an egg, you know. You ever do that?
Yes, I failed it. I'm sure that's a shock. I killed the gigapet. I killed the giga pet, too. I kill everything like that. But yeah, um I think he I think you're right. I think he was doing the thing where it's like, okay, I need to repair my reputation this season. So, I'm not only going to like be a good like quote unquote boyfriend to somebody, I'm going to do it to somebody in need. Like, it's like emotionally [ __ ] you know what I mean? Like emotionally um hurt in some way that uh is going to make me look even better. Like, I'll get more points because she's mourning.
Yeah. And it's like and and he I think he actually also believes he will be mature. If he can do this, he will now know that he's mature. I mean, we see this with every single [ __ ] boy on all these shows is that they they try to have a very serious relationship where um they they play house essentially. You know what? They play house. They play house and that's what they do. And and they think for a moment like oh because I'm in this relationship um I am therefore mature and I've grown up and it's like no because the patterns continue on and that this is exactly what happened here. But this just had that extra layer of him being like, "Victoria, you're so special, Victoria."
And you're like, "Shut up, bro." Like, you don't you're just you're just you're doing this not even because you're really that even attracted to her, I believe. I think you're doing it because you want to just improve your self-image both to the world and to yourself.
Yeah. And how much should could she possibly care, too, because they've been together for 5 seconds, you know? This whole thing is just magnified because of the dead boyfriend stuff, you know, and also his like, "You're the only one, Victoria. You're the only one for me. I want nobody else. Uh, so Nathan is also getting on my [ __ ] nerves this episode with his like,
"Oh, what a day. Roller coaster. I don't think I've loved anyone this [ __ ] much before, to be totally honest. I can't believe G. Poor girl. Poor girl. G, what have I done? G." You were about to [ __ ] Kizzy 5 seconds ago. And the only reason you didn't was because the bed wasn't free. So, let's stop acting like
you've come upon this huge thing, too. I thought there was gonna have there was going to be this moment in this relationship where I was gonna start rooting for Nathan again. Nope. I'm just rooting for her to run and I'm so upset that she got pregnant.
Wow, what a crash and burn that was. She went and got pregnant from this guy and then all this other stuff happened, you know, after. It's like, oh, that poor girl.
Poor Gail. Yeah, I actually would, you know, I, you know, I was into this narrative and I would have totally fallen for it cuz I was really growing to like Nathan this season, but really all his Islamophobia was so off the charts and crazy. It's just like, oh man, like oh turn, you're just trash, aren't you? So I can't root. And also like I feel like it wasn't addressed. Like you ghosted her. You ghosted her for 5 days. That's so inappropriate and so wrong. And I don't know why she didn't really grill him about that. Maybe they already had that grilling. But like you just you like why would you can't do that to someone and then expect them to just take you back just because you keep on saying that you're they're the love of your life. I mean, if they were the love of your life, why did you do that? I I don't want to hear some cliche story about how your parents got divorced. Your sister
your sister and her fiance broke up and so therefore you you lost your faith in relationships. Come on, get out of here.
And he lost his faith in relationships because the brother-in-law backed away from him after he divorced his sister. So now he's now he of course now he ghosts people.
Oh, come on. Shut up. What is it? He's like, they discontinued Crystal Pepsi. So now I don't believe in love anymore.
No, people stopped drinking Zema, so I'm done with relationships. I just don't trust anybody anymore.
And what about the Zoom? Who has a great alternative? And now there are no alternatives. So he's going on and on about, oh, Gail, and this is Gail's last night. She's leaving tomorrow. Oh, the amount of emotions just going through my body is now insane. And I want to see if we can try and arrange like meeting up afterwards. I just want to make it work. Yeah, you want to arrange for her to stay where you are. Nowhere in this were you saying you're going to go where she is. I noticed
I know that was shock. I noticed that too. I was like why are you not Why is your pitch to say wherever you are I'm coming to you not be like and why are you making her rearrange her schedule and her living situation for you?
Yeah. Exactly. So then um Josh the [ __ ] clown chef who I still can't get behind. I don't care what anybody says. He doesn't seem like a mean person. I don't hate him but I cringe. I cringe hard. My butthole cringes. He clenches and uh he's like uh he's he sings. He pulls out his guitar and sings an off key. This is a ballad of Nathan and Gail. Will they stay together or will one of them bail? Will one of them bail? Please die. Please die. Please let this musical career die and the clown career and cut your hair and shave your mustache.
So, um Joe Joe comes Joe's finished crying and he's like, "Be you want to come talk with that?" So he takes her upstairs and she's like, "Are you okay?" He's like, "No." He goes, "I do believe I'm a nice person. I try and do good in the world, but I've got this sense of like failure. Like I failed Victoria and being honest." Do you have that sense of it, or is it awareness that you have?
You did fail. You did fail, you [ __ ] loser. That's why you You know what? You know what's a really good way to get a sense of failure is failure.
I believe that I'm a good person. You're not a good person. Okay, even believing it is just lying to yourself. Stop. I believe I'm a good person. I believe I am. I'm just trying. And notice the way for the rest of the episode, especially when after they break up, every time he f he he frames the situation, he puts himself in this passive mode, which is what all the [ __ ] boys do. They always say like, "Oh, you're trouble or this is this always happens to me." He puts himself in the passive mode and he almost makes himself he almost makes himself be like a better person. He try he makes himself sound like a better person like he did something noble by by trying to date be and then failing at it. Like he pushed himself out of his comfort zone as if he like went skydiving for the first time.
So he goes like I was just I was just trying to get that graduate degree but I couldn't get there. It's like no you weren't.
I tried it. I tried saving all the people from that burning building, but oh, my arm was burning. I had to get out of there.
I tried pickled herring. I tried pickled herring for the first time. I wasn't something I normally would like, and I didn't like it, but I tried it. It's like, no, they'll get credit. I tried to save the orphans from the bus that was about to crash into the tree, but then I made out with the kissy. What can I tell you? I've got a penis that won't stop. So, um, they go upstairs to the deck to talk, and he's like, "Come over here." He's talking all quiet and he's like all nervous and he's like, "Okay." And everyone's watching downstairs on the closed circuit TV and he's and he's like, "Well, you know, you don't have to be all proper about this. Like, it's all good. Like, what's going on?" He's like, "So, well, because I've got something to say to you." Like, what? I [ __ ] up. As in, when you were gone, me and Ky, I was super drunk. We're in the jacuzzi.
Jacuzzi sounds like Kizzy. So naturally something's going to happen in there. We were talking and we walked down and then I kissed her. I put me lips on her lips. That's all that happened. I can't remember anything, you know, just what I got told. I don't know what anything would happens. I don't even know who Ky is. Yeah. And uh he's like, I hate And meanwhile, Ky's watching this on the TV and everyone's like groaning like, oh my god, why is he doing this? Cuz he promised that he wouldn't do this today. You know, they were Asa was like, don't do this today. This is a meaningful day.
you know, have your moment another day. This is not your day. And of course, he can't help himself.
So, he he jumps on it today. And so, they're all groaning watching this and Ky's just rolling her eyes like, "Oh jeez." And so, and also, I don't know. I think it was the other episode where Ky says to Asa, she's like, "Oh my god, I don't know what I'm going to tell I don't know what I'm going to tell her. Like, what do I tell V?" Asa goes, "Just tell her sorry, I'm a stupid bitch."
How about that? Yeah. That was gold. So anyway, he continues on with his monologue and he's like, "I hate cheaters even though we're not in a relationship." I've just got to put that in there. No, we're not in a relationship. But you did say five times, "I don't want anyone else." You're all I'm all in. I'm all in. So I'm not really sure what you call that language, sir. Okay. But it's not a relationship.
You're the one selling the dream. Okay. So he's like, "I'm not going to like end this in two weeks or whatever." I'm like, "This is going to end in two weeks or whatever." You're too you're too special to lose you, you know. So, over a drunk drunken kiss, I mean, no disrespect to Kizzy, but she means nothing to me. And you're something special that I haven't had for literal years. Ever since that time, I got defrauded by a man and wound up eating by cats in the middle of Spain. So, I just feel like I need to say this to you.
Forgive me. I was overweight for 10 minutes. Um, I love that Kizzy has to hear over and over in this season. She means nothing to me because she's had to hear from every guy she's tried to bang this season. [gasps] Well, you know, there was Ky, but yeah, gross. Not Ky. Really into you. Uh, and I just love that she has to sit at home hopefully with Tommy cuddling and watching that over and over again.
So, she's like, "Okay." Okay. And V does the cool girl thing where she's like, "Okay, like I appreciate that." And he's like, "Okay." She goes, "But would you do it sober?" So, okay then. If you wouldn't do it sober, then that settles it. Just don't do it again. All right. I mean, like, you were super drunk. Like, what am I going to do? I mean okay. I was like, "What the fuck?" Ve have some standards. Think about the fact that he did this. Not just that he did it, but he did it on the eve of your birthday, on the eve of the anniversary of your boyfriend's death, which is a really important thing. And he doesn't know how you're going to react. And at worst, it'll be a total violation for you, and it's going to be a stab on a day where you've already had the biggest stab of your entire life. And how cruel that is, and you're just going to let him off the hook. I was so upset. I was like, you know what? I was trying to do
like mental workarounds. Like, you know what though? I kind of love that she's like, well, [ __ ] this guy. I don't really care. like he's he's all contorted. Like if she knows it's not serious, she's just gonna have fun. She doesn't care really about this. I was like trying to be like maybe this is empowering the way her approaches, but like ultimately I was like this is shitty and I was really so happy that she like processed and like changed course. I actually liked this reaction better, but I wish it had gone a little further. I I liked that because look, she's crying over another guy. She's talking about how much she loves the other guy. She just spent the whole day on Instagram talking about how much she loves that guy. She just spent today talking about how much she loves the guy, which is right. She's not wrong for doing that. So Joe is just some loser that she's making out with on a boat.
Like I don't think she thinks of it that seriously, but I wish she had been like, "Okay, listen. I get it. You're a [ __ ] boy. You made out with a girl when you were drunk on a boat, but I don't want to hang out with you either." Like gross.
Instead of being like, "Okay, it's cool. Let's get back to making out and go party. Um, but I think that she would have been,
you know, she would have been able to continue this had he not continued to be an idiot the rest of the day. I mean, they leave this and then they go out and he's still all over Ky and Ky's still all over him. I mean, those two are [ __ ] shameless. Like, they're shameless.
Exactly. That's That is the thing. And I I don't know. I I I just I wanted her to I I really like your take for what her reaction would have been a really satisfying reaction, which is like, okay, that's fine. I don't take this seriously, but I also don't appreciate the how careless you were with my feelings just now. So, bye. Because that's ultimately what it was is that like, yeah, it's they might not be in a deep relationship, but like this is she's like the most vulnerable she's going to be and she's in such a fragile place and he doesn't really know how she's going to be. She doesn't know how she's going to be. The one-year anniversary, the death of the love of her life, and he's going to do commit sort of like a big betrayal to her when she's already emotionally vulnerable.
And you just don't know how that's going to go. And as it happens, it wasn't too bad. It was more or less fine, but he doesn't know that. He doesn't know that at all. And it's just so reckless of him. And it's all so inconsiderate and so self-interested. And I think it's just obnoxious. And that's what I wanted her to be upset about was that like, wow, you didn't you didn't think about how this how something like this could affect me coming back when I come back to the boat in my most vulnerable state I've ever been in in my life. And that's
I think it's just tricky with people. It's like you you barely been dating and you know this guy's a piece of [ __ ] and Asa told you multiple times this guy's a piece of [ __ ] and you still went ahead and did it. So it's like she knew and she'd been warned. So, I think she's in a tricky position because if she if she does get upset and starts crying and is like, "How could you? She looks like a [ __ ] crazy person because why would you be that into I mean, even though he just totally did you wrong." It's weird to have to be feeling that deep about someone that you know from everybody else on board is a [ __ ] boy and did exactly what everybody just told you he was going to do. So, I feel like it would be weird of her to freak out. You know what I mean?
Like it borders on weird later to me. Borders and I think she handles this whole thing really well actually. But I think I think it would have been too much for her to to freak out. I just wish she would have dumped him right here and there because this the rest of this is just embarrassing. Like easily forgiving him. And I get why she's doing it too cuz it's like forgive forget you know I'm not thinking about him anymore. I'm thinking about Bond. Whatever. and they go out, but oh my god, these two, I mean, they just they show you exactly who they are again. They go out and they're immediately all over each other.
So Kizzy tells her in the van, oh no, no, she's she's talking to Kathy and her and she's like, listen, you know, I didn't know Joe spoke to you and I wanted to speak to you earlier. Um, but you know, I feel like a [ __ ] friend. You are a [ __ ] friend. Like
what do you want her to say? Your friend. Yeah. So then they go to the other vamp.
This is not the only [ __ ] friend thing you did to any of these people on this boat, by the way.
Yeah. I mean, yeah, to be fair, at least you're a [ __ ] friend to like literally everybody, including yourself. You treat yourself like [ __ ] too. Um and then they go to the van where Joe is. And um you know, he's like, "I don't know if I can sleep tonight." Oh, you'll sleep just [ __ ] fine, I'm sure. So then we go back to Kizzy and V and uh she's like, "Well, I feel like a bit of a I feel like a bit of a c a c word." And she's like, "Well, it's too [ __ ] late now." She goes, "Well, I'm sorry, though. I feel like an asshole." Uh, and she's like, "Well, I don't know if he's taking the blame for you, but he said, I don't remember because everyone had to tell me about it."
Yeah. And Kathy Kathy is sitting there next to them and she's like, she has her hands up on the glass on the window. She's like, "Get me out of this van. I can't I don't want to do I don't want to be here anymore." And so Ky's like, "Yeah, me kissing Joe." And then the guilt that came from it, Joe kissing me. It was just a lot. And V is just like, "Uh-huh. Yeah, Joe kissing me." So Kathy's just like in total hell with these two. And Ky's now doing this whole thing of like, "I just wish I had to speak to you. I wish I could have spoken to you. I wish I could have told you."
And V's like, "Well, why don't we talk about it?" Like that was the one thing I was like, "Hey, could we like not do that?" Like that was the one thing we talked about. She's I know. I'm really sorry about that. I'm just really really sorry. But, you know, we were both really drunk and you know, again, we saw a clip in here somewhere where there really was a scene where where Victoria was like, "Please don't go after my guy Jolene." Um, but uh Ky's afterwards, you know, Ky, they get to the bar and everything and Ky and Joe talk to compare notes and she's like, "They took it like a champ. She believed the whole story." He's like, "Oh, well, we're going to still be friends regardless of what happens." Because, yeah, I hope so.
Also, I think the way that um Ky's thinking of it is like I had my claws in this guy's f this guy first and then you came along and then you went for this guy. So, I had him first so he was
That's also cuz she calls dibs on everyone. But she calls dibs on everybody. Yeah, exactly.
It's like she didn't have him first cuz he got on the boat at the same time. Like they both they both met him at the same time,
right? But she was hitting on him first. Well, maybe she was in her mind. But in her mind, I'm saying I I feel like she probably feels like that.
She feels that way 100%. She feels like or she feels like she's entitled to have a shot as well. Like she didn't get her date. She didn't get her one-on-one date with the Bachelor, so she feels like she's entitled to have that moment.
Yeah, cuz she did it with Max, too. Remember when uh Kathy's like, "Oh, I like Max. I like Max." And then Kizzy jumps on Max in the hot tub and makes out with him. And it's like, um, I just told you I liked Max. You know, she's like, "But I had an energy with Max." You know, she jumps on she jumps on him first, so she's like, "Well, I already had dips on Max."
Yeah. Yeah. She's pretty obnoxious, I have to say. Yeah. So, everyone's dancing. Everyone's having fun. And Nathan is just like lovebombing Gail, you know? He's like, I love you. I love you so much. I can't imagine life without you. It's almost like, you know, you're the most beautiful thing I've ever met, and I just can't like you're the most the thing that I love the most in this world. And she's like, okay, okay. So, um, you know, he's basically she's like, "Are you for real? Are you feel [ __ ] He's like, "Well, how long is the question? How long before you you bail on me?" He's like, "Forever. I swear to God, I love you forever, girl." Yeah.
And she's crying, you know, and he's monk herring all over her. And then we go to Max and Kathy kissing and um Joe and Victoria are flirting kind of. He's like, "Victoria, I've got a hat on. Your hat? Look at that. Why do I want that? And she kisses him and she's like, "I'm the full package, baby."
And they start kissing and I start booing and [ __ ] down a drain and posting babies on Instagram. Putting my shirt shirtless selfies on Instagram. I'm just breaking all my own rules.
So Gail and Nathan go outside and Nathan's like, "You have no idea how seeing you has made me feel." She's like, "Oh, I 100% believe you. That's how you feel. But the thing is, you felt that way before." He's like, "But I generally cannot connect emotionally to anyone like I have with you." Like, "Honestly, I don't know. Like, when we met, I had my mind made up, you know? Honestly, I love you to bits. I'm in love with your girl. I love your girl." She's like, "Oh,
if you met if you met and you had your mind made up, then why did you ghost her? That doesn't make any sense."
Exactly. So, she's like, "Oh, but I've hated you. And the second I broke down my walls, you hurt me so much. Not only did you hurt me the first time, you hurt me again and again. And he will do it again. What are you doing? What are you doing? Why do I have to drive my [ __ ] auntie van to a [ __ ] yacht to save all of you people? You should know better than this. This is 2026. Have you read no books? Have you watched no TV shows? These are [ __ ] boys. Below Deck has been on for 19 years.
Like 37 years. Okay. The show predates all of you. You should know better. It's a show about men who cannot deal with permanence, which is why they go onto a boat and sail around the world and do not have to deal with the everyday rigors of being in the same place called a house or an apartment.
So, uh, yeah. So, he's he's now and the girls the sea. So, I'm doing my I'm doing my Nathan thing, which is that when he tells a story, he leans forward onto his knees and he bops his head left and right. He's like, "Yeah, a year ago, I think I self-sabotaged myself and Gail's relationship because everyone I've ever loved was pulled away. My parents' relationship ended, so my dad pulled away. My older sister and her fiance's relationship ended, so they pulled away. Also, I used to love getting Mr. Mrs. Butterworth's, but now I haven't been able to find it in stores. She pulled away for me, too.
[clears throat] Molly Mcutter. Great seasoning gone. Where's love? Yeah. So, she wants to believe him, but it's only been three days and she doesn't want to be naive. And uh he's like, "Well, we were made for each other. I can see myself spending the rest of my life with this girl, but it's not up to me." So, he's just like whining and moping and she's crying. And then inside, uh V and Joe are kissing while everybody's dancing. And um Kathy is telling V, "Oh god, you guys have never looked closer." and she's like, "Yeah, he was like really straight up and like honest about it, but for like Kizzy, I feel like she specifically talked about this situation with me and she still did it." And so, we see a flashback of that. And then, um, by the way, I just want to say as a student of Love Island and various other TV shows, um, if you're if you're the second one in, it's not even a Love Island thing.
This is actually something we've observed many times in The Real Housewives. If two people have done something shitty together that affects a third person, the second person to have the conversation about it is the villain because you're just it's you're you're you're too late. So even if they're both equally complicit and equally contrite, if you're conversation number two, you're going to get hit with the [ __ ] stick. Think about Real Housewives of Orange County when um what was it that it was that Heather and Emily had both said that they don't trust Tamara. So Emily tells Tamara this first like I just want you to know. I'm just being honest with you. I said I don't trust you. And then Heather's like I don't trust you. But Heather was the one who Tamara got mad at the most because Heather told Tamara second. So in this case, you have Joe. If Ky had gone to be first, I guarantee I don't
guarantee, but I think that Joe would be in a lot more [ __ ] than Ky is. And the lesson is don't let someone go on the apology tour before you.
Yeah. Always always be the first to apologize. And anyone with a sibling, anyone with a sibling knows that, you know, anyone, you know, who's ever [ __ ] up and like tried to That's how you blame your sister for [ __ ] You have to go first. Otherwise, you're always the villain. That's why my sister is always in parental jail in prison because I always beat her even though I was always the one doing [ __ ] wrong.
You have to be first because the first one gets like the um gets the badge of being honest and forthright. Like they came forward first and the other one doesn't get that credit. If anything, it's like, "Oh, well, you only said something because the first person said something." Even if it was pre-arranged as it actually was,
they told I think Asa told Ky or someone told Ky, "Listen, let Joe do to have the conversation first, then you have the conversation." But then, and I'm not standing up for Ky, but I'm just saying it's sort of funny like Ky gets burned by this because um you know, cuz here Via is like, "Okay, I'll let Joe off the hook, but Ky, she's the real problem." They both should be the in the problem zone. I'm just saying.
Yeah. But, you know, and I've thought that when I was watching this, too. Like, okay, so now of course it's the girl's fault, right? because it that's it's like you're it's the [ __ ] boy, but you're going to go after the girl, you know, even though they're equally culpable. But
I think it's fair to go after the girl because yeah, they were friends and that's they're friends and that's different than a boy. Like girls know that boys suck, right? So they should always be able to bond together and like the guys are the ones that suck, but we should be there for each other.
I think it hurts more when it's like a friend who does that to you than a boy. You expect it from someone like Yeah. But yeah, [ __ ] conversation.
Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] for sure. I'm just saying it's so funny how like, you know, the apology to her, you might as well just not even bother apologizing about because there's not it's never going to be accepted.
It's a life lesson. So, um, so now she goes outside and Ky and Joe are like dancing. They're like doing ballroom dancing practice and he's lifting her up and [ __ ] and they're flirting and giggling and V is like yeah if I were Joe I'd be walking on eggshells like what the [ __ ] No, you just showed you just lied down and wrote welcome all over your chest.
They're not going to treat you with respect now. Like that's just not how being cool and forgiving [ __ ] is not how to earn respect. Like you need to watch more prison movies. You need to shank a [ __ ] because you need to shank two [ __ ] because
you do. [clears throat] Yeah, you just showed them that you're you can be walked over and now they're going to literally do this in front of your face. The nerve of people. The [ __ ] nerve.
Like Joe's priority tonight is you are by V's side. You are puppy dog. Whatever she needs, that's it. You You're like you are with her. You are holding whatever bag she needs you to hold. You are getting her all the drinks. You are treating her like a princess. But what happens is not only are they dancing or whatever, after they're done dancing, Joe and Ky have this conversation where they're very close to each other and he keeps on saying this this kind of [ __ ] like regardless of what happened, your friendship is very very important. And she's like, I love having you in my life and I want to keep you in my life as a mate and I think that we've got a great friendship and there's no point in ruining that. He's like, yeah, Victoria, she's cool, you know, and you're too cool, you know. Wait, wait, wait. Because while they're doing this, V literally comes up behind him and grabs his butt and passes like really
close to them and they're doing this right in front of her and he's like, "Victoria, oh yeah, she's cool, but you're you're you're too cool. You're too cool." Oh, yeah.
Yeah. He says, "She's cool, but you're too cool." You are more interested in reiterating like that you want to keep this friendship going. um you know, well, obviously we know what it really is is like I'm keeping an option in my back pocket. But like he would defend it as saying like no, I really like her. She's like a mate. She's like a friend. But what it reads to me like is that he is putting more energy into making sure his friendship with Kizzy is still okay than he is with making sure his situation with Victoria is on.
He doesn't care about his friendship with Ky. He's still going to [ __ ] Ky later. They're both like
like but having this conversation with her right now. I know. Like why are you sitting here talking here like like and analyzing the status and prognosis of your friendship?
Yeah. So [clears throat] he's like, "Well, I think you're me in girl form." And she says, "Oh, people say you get sent the girl or boy version of you to bring you karma. I'm your karma. You're each other's karma. You're both [ __ ] disgusting. Good luck with the rest of your lives." So, now it's time to go back to the boat. And um Kathy and Max are making out in the van, which I can't even I can't even spare the time for right now.
Max drives me nuts. I'm sorry. Max annoyed me the first time he was on the show. He annoys me the second time. Like, he is just I like Kathy so much. And I can't stand that she's into this guy. He is the biggest twerp. He's so annoying. Oh my god. I don't like watching them make out. So, um, so Kathy, Max, Joe, and V are in a van, and Max is like, "Oh, I was really scared for you to leave the boat, Kathy, and I want to spend emotion to all you because I was petrified. Joe, do you remember how mad I was?"
Yeah. You were mad because you had to work. I remember. That's what it was. You weren't mad that you You weren't mad that you that you couldn't be there to console Kathy. You were mad that you had to move chairs around at a lighthouse.
No. So, Max, he's Yeah. He's like, "I was deeply frustrated with Nathan before, but they that really put like the [ __ ] on the cake, you know, for the rest of the season. I'm going to prioritize the happiness of Katy." Yeah, I prefer her as soon. Um, can we not talk about [ __ ] on the cake after we just dealt with a whole [ __ ] cake episode? Thank you very much.
Too soon, babe. So, bedtime and Kathy makes a little fort for her and Max and she goes, "You know, this doesn't mean we're shagging, right?" And he's like, "Yeah, we are more intelligent than this." And then they go in and you just see the the sheet blowing back and forth and hear like pound she don't she don't um so they're having sex and then Nathan and Gail go into like he convinces her to go into a guest cabin and then V at this point we see V and Joe go into their cabin but now the ick is starting to settle in for her at long last and she's like um I'm really hot can you sleep on the upper bunk so she doesn't let him sleep in the same bed, which is I think more awkward than the show gave credit for. Like that's kind of a that was kind of a that's significant, I think.
Yeah. And then uh Nathan and Gail uh go to the guest cabin and they're talking and more of the same [ __ ] He's like, "Don't leave. Please, I can't do it. Would you stay in Europe, Barcelona, please?" as they make up. And now the next morning, everyone I listen, can I just say I have no respect for literally anybody on this boat right now. Kathy's better than Max. Although Kathy deserves it. She just had a huge loss in her family. I don't blame her for for letting off a little steam. But still gross. Uh Nathan and Gail. Gail, it's really tough to root for you. Nathan's a piece of [ __ ] And then Ky and Joe and V, like all of it. I've just The season needs to end. It's It's episode 15 and is showing no signs. End it. End it. I I love this season. I think it I think this season
I think it's been good, but I'm at the I'm at the point where I I want everybody to be drowned over like what everybody I want every that's a bad choice of words because of what actually happened on the show, but sorry, I didn't mean it like that, but I want everybody kicked off the boat at this point.
Yes. Yeah. Into a train. I am into it. I have no I have no respect for a majority of these people, but I'm really really into it. I think I'm just in such a place of like I know I know how dark things can get on this show. Aka I remember last season of Below Deck that was so wretched like the probably the I think it was the very worst season of Blow Deck I've ever seen of any franchise. And um so for me I'm just so happy to have like a really good solid season of Below Deck Med that just it's just like hitting me just right.
Like I love it. Like I'm so into this season. I'm into like as we sit here like like being like [ __ ] Ky, [ __ ] Joe. Like I'm just like smiling on the inside like, "Oh, it feels so good to say these things. I feel these things about a below deck episode." So, um, yeah, I'm into it.
For me, it's crash the just crash it. So, they all start waking up in the morning and Kathy's like, "What are you laughing at?" He's like, "Oh, because I'm happy. I really like you." So, now we go to Asia and Kizy's and Asa's asking what happened. And Kizzy's like, "Well, I spoke to V and she was actually like so fine about it." Yeah, I'm I mean I'm sure it still wasn't nice but
Mhm. nailed it. Really? Really? Well, good on you for telling her then. And now we go to V and Joe in the cabin. And uh Joe's like, "Can I calm down? Can I have sex yet?" She's like, "Okay." He's like, "What's up?" She goes, "Well, I've decided I'm going to talk to Kizzy again because I forgave her last night, but I think forgiveness was granted too easily." So V is basically saying that she didn't last night. She didn't want to feel hurt about it. She thought like, you know, maybe it was an ego thing or whatever. I think, you know, she's basically like I just she clearly just wants to have a fun time. She did not want to have drama. But then she started to think about it and she realized there's like a lot of underlying layers. And she's like, you know, people say like you're not your words, you're your actions. And that clearly speaks volumes to me, which is funny because I said speaking is
really not as important as actions. But you know, you get what I'm trying to say here. [clears throat] So, um, Joe's, she's like, "What are you afraid to say? Was it an accident?" And he's like, "Yeah, yeah, it was an accident. It was an accident." So, uh, Asa is talking to Sandy and she dropped something and uh, Sy's like, "Oh god." She goes, "I'm going to do the floors. Don't worry." She's like, "Do I seem worried? Do I seem worried? Come on, let's meet Captain Sandy here." Yeah,
dream team. So, um, now Nathan and Gail are well, who cares? So, V leaves Joe's cabin and Nathan and Gail come out and Gail's, uh, packing up her stuff and Asa sees Nathan and he's like, I'm not okay. She's just so amazing. Oh god. Oh god. So, now Gail is time to say goodbye. So, she's saying goodbye to everybody and everybody's crying and everybody's so sad she's leaving. Which, by the way, she might be brought right back on this boat because Max continues to [ __ ] up. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they just you turned her right around and brought her back.
They actually should have just they actually really should have just done that cuz Asia Asia's like, "God, I wish Gail would stay longer. Everyone wishes Gail was staying longer. [crying] And Sandy is like, "Oh god, thank God Gail was available. She could just pop right in." Okay, she just did us a solid and I'm just so grateful. I wish I had another cabin to keep her. Well, I wish I had two cabins. One for Gail and one for Little Bear. Oh god, I love that dog. I got to see him on my phone. [snorts] And Gail's telling us, "Oh, in such a short amount of time, Nathan's definitely broken down my walls." Which is kind of funny terminology because, you know, he's like a big proponent of the wall. Um, and Nathan's like, "Oh, see you soon."
And I think we're supposed to be feeling things, but all I feel is like, "Oh god, she's pregnant with this man."
Baby's coming. Baby on board. Baby Bosen. Yeah. You step on these boats and you never know when the next time you're going to see each other. Could be in a year, could be in a month, could be in two weeks, could be in three days, could be in, I don't know, two weeks and 10 days. Okay, Gail, we get it. You just don't know when you're going to see him again. Just go. Just go. So now V goes to speak with Kizzy and she's like, "Yeah, I want to have like a chat because yesterday I was hearing both sides of the story and the more I thought about it, the more I was like, "I'm not fine with it." Because, you know, like your apology, it was just like oopsies. And then like we just go on as if nothing happened. And Ky's like, "Um, well, I don't feel guilty about it because we had the connection.
Like it was fun. So what do you want?" cuz he's basically like, "Wait, you said I was off the hook and now I'm not off the hook. Now I'm mad and I'm just going to give you bluntness." So Via's like, "So you're you regret nothing." She says, "Well, I regret upsetting you." But you don't regret the regret the kiss. No, I'm going to be real honest. No, I don't regret the kiss. Okay. Well, that's like the one part that I don't think I can get past. Well, you know, because obviously we did we have a connection. I did call dibs on him. I did see him and I was like, he's m we're boyfriend girlfriend now. And you kind of you're basically the cheetah first if you think about it.
And V is like but they're definitely like different kinds of connections. No, they're not. Why are they? I mean, that's my thing with V. Like, why why are they so different? I don't really think they're different. You both fell for the tricks of a [ __ ] boy, but Kizzy doesn't care that he's a [ __ ] boy cuz she's a [ __ ] girl. So, I don't I don't know that the connections were that different. Um, and V is like, well, like I mean the way I understood it from him, like one's more temporary and flirtatious. And cuz he goes, "Yeah, but he also said that yours is seasonal," which was an extremely good point.
I mean, listen, I want to be like totally team V here, but V listen, you were warned
and you got with this guy and you were warned about this guy and this guy turned exactly he turned into exactly who everybody told you and now you're acting like shocked. He even told you it was seasonal and just didn't have anywhere to go. So, this is where I'm like, come on be
I'm 100% on this one right here because like what his like what she was warned about, whatever. Like, I think she still has a right to be mad at her alleged friend who said she wasn't going to do this and did it anyway. And Casey's going to be like, "Oh," and then he, you know, he also said, "Yours is seasonal." When actually what Joe said was originally he said it was seasonal, but then he said, "I want to see you after this." He actually revoked the seasonal quality of it. So it's no longer seasonal.
No longer seasonal. It's true. But he went back and forth so many times. I I guess I'm just like
agreeability. I think that V didn't do anything wrong. Okay. I'm not saying that V did anything wrong. I'm just saying
cut your losses and back away. You know what I mean? You you've seen him flirting with Kizzy the whole season. This is nothing new. You knew that he had an energy with Kizzy, too. and you knew that they were both pieces of [ __ ] So, I don't know.
I think I think you know, yes, it's important to look at signs, etc., etc. I think also though that it's important to um hold, you know, I think she has a right to sit down with Kizzy and be like, "What the fuck?" Because
Yeah, I think so, too. I'm not saying she Yeah, I'm not saying she doesn't have a right.
She has Yeah, her relationship with Ky has nothing to do with Joe's behavior in in a sense. like it has to do with K's behavior and um and I think that like yeah I would have liked I would have liked V to have seen the signs with Joe. I would have liked V not to have even gotten entangled with Joe but that has nothing to do with Ky. Ky Ky was a [ __ ] friend and V has a right to be like yeah what's wrong with like what's wrong with you? You [ __ ] you [ __ ] up Joe you [ __ ] up. Yeah, but I mean I think Kizzy also has a right to be like, "Well, I was flirting with this guy, too, and he's obviously into me.
If we ended up making out, it's like I'm into him, too, so like, are you going to marry the [ __ ] guy?" Like, you know, I don't blame her for being
conversation. She had a conversation where she said she That's true. I don't know. I guess I just can't feel too much for V when it's Joe. It's like I don't know. It's like you saw a choke warning and you ate the chicken bone. like I don't know how much more clear this diamond needs to make it to you.
Yeah. So, uh V is like, "Oh, I'm done with this conversation." And V is like, "Well, I mean, it's not like we just tripped and fell into each other's mouths, you know, like uh whatever." Well, so well, that's what's what's funny is that like it's not as if we just tripped and fell into each other's mouths. Well, then but earlier she was like saying it was a drunken. So, she's like she's not truthful and we see one of them. Yeah. They're both [ __ ] lying and saying, "Oh, we were drunk and we Joe doesn't even remember it."
But that being said, I did actually appreciate that Kizzy was in this moment, Kizzy was actually brutally honest. And I actually appreciated that cuz I think that V deserved to have honesty of her being like, "I like him, too." And that's that. I think that Ky's a [ __ ] friend. I think she is,
of course. Yeah. Well, but I did appreciate that she at least was like, "Yeah, you know what? I like him, too." And
I think the only reason I care like I'm trying to like say anything to V is because I V is V has hope in this world. You know what I mean? It's like
just potential, right? She there she has she has hope. It's like just avoid situations like this. I'm just saying I would rather V just said you both are terrible human beings. I'm not going to hate you. I'm not going to get mad, but I don't want to be with him and you're gross. I don't want to be your friend. and just walk away from it instead of getting involved in the emotion of like who [ __ ] me over and who was right and who was wrong. They were both disgusting people and just dump them and leave them in the trash bin where they belong cuz people like that are always going to be trash and they are going to find other trash to be with. And so when I see people that aren't trash like V, I'm like protect yourself from the trash, you know?
But you know what's great? You know what's great, Ronnie, is that like we're we're having this whole conversation, but the truth is that like by the end of the episode, this all is exactly what happens, and that's what's like really wonderful, and I'm really hoping that V does not get like drawn back in. But she basically is like, yeah, I don't this isn't that deep for me, but I also deserve to be treated better. So,
[ __ ] off, both of you. And I'm like, that was I've been waiting like 10 years on this show for someone to have that reaction. Thank you.
I know, right? Okay, so guys, come on. Let's talk about the new trip. This is a parents getaway trip. Oh jeez. So, Michael Lopez is an entrepreneur from Maryland and he works in real estate with his wife Valerie who's a radiation therapist. Radiation. Cuz you know what? Radiation has problems too and they need to talk to someone. Okay. Everyone's Everyone doesn't like radiation, but you know what? Maybe radiation feels lonely in this world. I'm glad they finally have a therapist. Guys, radiation is tired of being villainized. So, if we've got any hugs for radiation, let's send them out there. Okay. Now, they're friends with Sean and Christine who are recently engaged and Robert and Isabella. And they've got two more coming in from uh Tinder from Alaska, Ryan and his wife, Dr. Kelly, who's going to talk about how how all he's been eating is loose meat. Okay. Now, until that scene comes, everybody talk
amongst themselves about what loose meat means. Okay. That's right. Ryan and Kelly are coming to the boat, which got me really excited that I thought it was Ryan Serest and the other one. But uh no, it just turns like they're just two normies named Ryan and Kelly. So that's too bad, you know.
So they want a Spanish night with entertainment and to kick off they want a traditional Ramon carver.
Um now that is something that you would hire. Yeah. Right. That's a position that you hire. They want a traditional carver. That is a position. That is a person. You can hire a flamco dancer. You can hire a carver. This is this is production just [ __ ] with the chef. They know they can hire someone to come on board to do this. They're like, "No, we want to humiliate the chef. Poor guy. No one seems to even know that he exists on this boat. They don't even consider him as a romantic prospect. Let's uh let's just make his life hell." So yeah, they're going to force him to slice chunky pieces off of this lovely, you know, piece of meat. Like it's not like the pig's going to die. If the pig's going to die, at least like let it like get someone who can like, you know, you want to honor it, right? And not have some guy just like slice off these chunks of ibero.
Yeah. So he's like, "Wow, you know, the process for this hammer is an art in itself." And people have really specially trained for this and I'm not specially trained for this. Hire somebody get Asa to get on the on the horn with Norma and get somebody over here. So now V goes to talk to Asa and she's like, "So I know you're going to be the only one that's like honest with me and like their kiss story like it doesn't add up and they made a sound like we just bumped into each other in the middle of the night and just had a drunken quick kiss." And she's like, "No, I'm actually told them they both suck and I've said it to their face and they were flirtatious and all over each other the whole night leading up to it. So, I'm sorry I'm being so blunt." And I wish it she had reminded her in this moment. And I also told you that this man's a piece of [ __ ] and you should not be shocked that he's acting like this cuz Asa did
give her that warning and she's like, "I'm just like trying to navigate it. I just feel like I've been like way too tame with everybody and I've like had to like learn to stick up for myself because like Bond did a lot of that for me. Like you know when I was like as a dive master I skipped a whole semester of college to have the experience and then my manager wouldn't even put me on the boat. I was like hello I could be taking you know advanced psychology 103 and I'm here on this boat and you're still not giving me a good job. And bombed stood up for me and this time I've got to do it for myself. So now she's empowered and I'm like, "Yeah, you go get him, V. You go walk out there and you do something about it, V." So now we see Joe doing some stuff on the deck and Nathan is is bossing him around and uh and then Sandy, she's like, "Hey, hey, Leah." Just calling to say hi. Hi Leah.
How you doing? Hey. Oh, hi. I wanted to see you. I want to see you. How are you feeling? Baby, miss you, baby. Good. I'm doing good. Good. It's really all I needed to hear is BB. Baby. So, we see um Max gets all [ __ ] with Nathan for asking him to do windows. He's like, "Oh, be good person. Don't lose patience." And um now it's time for rest because Charter's in 16 hours and Fee is like getting ready to talk. And now it's time for a talk with Joe. So, they go to the bow and um we see Nathan messaging Gail and he's like, "Oh, I love you so much. I can't live without you. Please don't leave me.
Don't leave me. Don't leave me." Ghost emoji. Ghost emoji. Ghost emoji. Ghost emoji.
I know, right? So, now the conversation with Joe and V. Uh, so she's like, "So, I feel lied to. You told me like I don't want to hurt you, but like that word was broken."
Well, it was like a drunken kiss that I can't even remember. But right now, this this little thing that we've got going on, it's special. You know, it's a very special. She'll save it. Why? Because you're so flirty with Kizzy and that's why. I want someone that like sees me being worthh holding the standard of their own word to me. Does that make sense?
It does make sense. It's not you. No. She's like, "Yeah, you just don't deserve someone like me." And he's like, "Well, I guess he seems relieved." He's like, "Well, I'm sad with myself cuz I was testing something out of my comfort zone, but you know, the military just wasn't for me. You know, I'll have to save people the good oldfashioned way." I know, right? [gasps] Like out of your comfort zone. He's like, "It just ended in shit." And he's like smiling, right? Like this is not someone who was like sad, who was like, "Oh my god, no. This for someone who said how special this was over and over again. This is something special. I've never done this before. I've never done something so special before in me life. And now like she's like, "Yeah, I'm not interested."
He's not like, "I've got to fight for this cuz this was special." He's like, "Oh, well, push myself out of my comfort zone. Turns out I don't like coffee yogurt." It's like what?
Yeah. He's he's glad he can go back to just not pretending. He can go back to pretending not to be a piece of [ __ ] or whatever. So, um, she's like, "Yeah, I have a standard that bond set. So, like some man gives me the world and then he dies and I accept anything less, that would be an insult to him. So, if you're like not Bond quality, what am I even here for?
Which perfect. I love it. I'm taking that with me. I'm going to I'm going to start dating people and just being like, I'm sorry, but you're not Bond quality.
Yeah. Go. Yeah. Bomb bon voyage. Um I I think that's actually right, though. She's like, this guy treated me so well. He died for me. which I don't know if he died for her, but like the point is that like like she had she knows what she has a standard and like I'm glad that she remembered her standards
cuz that's what you got to do in life. You got to remember you got to I I remember when I was dating what would always happen to me is every single person I go on a date with my bar would just drop lower and lower and lower and eventually you just like hit like someone who's so low you're like what am I doing and then you reset your bar and you bring it back up again drops down down down down you just have to keep your standards high like that's the most important thing is you just have to keep your standards high because if you lower your standards you wind up with people like Joe
Yeah. So, um, then it's the morning of charter. Everyone's excited that there's only a couple charters left, no one more than me. And, um, Max is acting like he's going to propose to Kathy. And she's like, "Oh my god, his energy is just infectious. He's broken all my walls down. He wants to make me feel love. He's so affectionate. That passion, that romance, it just seeps into you. Oh, God. No. Stop it. Stop. Stop this right now. Can we also just like retire on this season? The discussion of breaking walls down. Like how many people have to have their walls broken? They're all just so happy to have these open concepts in their hearts right now. And it's getting really [ __ ] annoying between Gail, between Kathy. I feel like V probably said it at some point.
Love Island. It's just Love Island language. Does anybody even feel anything? Like is it just it seems like a card game where it's like okay um I have played the walls are down card, the vulnerable card and the triggered card. Are we getting married yet? Okay, because I played all of those cards. So
So um meanwhile Nathan Max and Kathy are kissing and Nathan's like cut to work and Max dictates on Nathan is back on deck. I'm like it's literally just your boss and you're his employee and you've got to work and you're not working. or you're literally kissing someone when you should be working and then you're upset about it. Like, get to work.
So, another thing that's been happening is that Asia has been giving uh Josh the chef [ __ ] about constantly doing family style because it's not classy enough for a yacht. And finally, S uh Sally Sandy is on the same page. He's like, "Oh jeez, another family style." So, they gave him [ __ ] And so, now he's going to do a plated dinner, but he's making paella. So, I'm confused because paella is
a gigantic pan of food. So, uh I mean I don't know, but it just seems like an odd time to bring this out, but you know, he's going to do some tapas and do some plated stuff with
service. Yeah, I was cracking up last episode when they had their tip meeting, which by the way, another thing we didn't mention is that this charter with their [ __ ] in the drain, they gave like a super low tip. like the like a couple really low 16 grand truly pieces of [ __ ] They should they're the ones who should be sent down the drain. But um uh one thing that cracked me up was Sandy giving a pep talk and she was like it was like a passive aggressive pep talk of course cuz she was she was like all right we only got two charters left and this last one we're going to nail it. We're going to be do we're going to have a great great charter with plated service. It'll be a great time. Wow. We'll have all the toys out. We're going to have a We're going to have so much fun. And plated service. While we're looking at the toys, we're we're going to be having fun because we know there's going to be
individual plates with synchronized service. Am I right, Josh? No family style, right? And he's like,
"Yes." He's like, "Fuck all you people." So, uh, Nathan is telling Max that he's going to invite her to his sister's wedding, which is a huge, huge deal. Um, wait a second. His sister's getting married. After all that
after all that become friends with a new person. [gasps] So, um yeah, I'm going to invite Carol to my sister's wedding to show that commitment can happen after you've been hurt. So, that that's that's exciting for them. And V is uh V is complaining to Max. Uh is complaining about Max, saying that Max has a bad attitude because I don't know if this is it happens later, I guess, but she's just really annoyed with Max because he's he's being real mopey and annoying. And so she's complaining about his bad attitude to Kathy. And
well, no, right now she's complaining about Right now she's complaining about Ky and Joe. She's like, I mean, he's going to make me feel all these special things and you know, you know, you're thawing my heart. And then he's like, oh, [ __ ] you. I'm going to kiss Kizzy and forget everything. And meanwhile, Ky has her ear up to the door. It's like Downtown Abbey. She has like her ear right up to the door and she's like, "Oh god, [ __ ] this." She just walks. She's like [ __ ] lame. So, uh, then the guests come and they get the tour and there's like a little special spot for the newly engaged couple to have champagne together and then, um, you know, it's like the beginning of yacht stuff and, uh, Max is really hyper doing the lines and stuff and he's working next to V and she's just frustrated, you know, she's in her own head and then a guy from the dock throws the line over and it hits V and she thinks it's Max.
So she's like, "What the [ __ ] bro? You just hit me with that. Watch where you're going." He's like, "It was not me. Was this man? Was it me? Was I there?" And so now he's mad at her because she [gasps] she got mad at him about a line that was thrown on accident. So
yeah. And she's like, "Is it just me or is everyone being an [ __ ] today?" And Max's like, "Oh, she's jumping. She's grumpy." I feel like she's discovering about the kissy and Joel's kisses. But yeah, here is still like a professional area. So, let's get back to real work. So uh
I don't know that you're the one to be pointing out professionalism amongst the staff sir.
Yeah. Yeah. And it's like, Jesus, stop fighting. Why are you arguing about? That's what they arguing about. Jesus Christ, get us together, guys. So, they're being all pissy and everything. And then people come on board. And Ky's giving champagne to people. And um Josh is saying that she's got a family style lunch today. Um um he's like he's like I'm hoping it buys me some more time. I have to do a fully plated dinner tonight. He's I mean like you're a chef like I understand like doing like like a nine course meal is a lot but like you can set out a bunch of pl like you can you can do a plated dinner. It's like not the end of the world.
Yeah. So then um one of the women is breastfeeding so she needs the milk stored. She's pumping. And so Ky's like, "Yeah, you know, I've always said I wanted to try titty milk. I might try a bit. Aren't I crazy? And just don't [ __ ] that lady's husband, please. And uh he's just like, "Well, I've sucked mine out of my friend's tits before." It was really nice, actually. Very sweet. Did you know the milk comes from everywhere? I thought it came from the little slit in the nipple, but it comes from every hole. I mean, literally out the ears, the nose, the eyes, the milk just comes out. It's crazy.
Kathy is horrified by this because the Asian kids are having this conversation and the camera just pans like zooms in on Kathy's face like so now more Asia though. I mean look I've I've heard of people trying their friends breast milk before but actually going down on the tit I haven't heard that one.
It's Asia. I mean I'm like not surprised. So, uh, by the way, there was a thing in the last episode when the other guests were leaving and they were all waving by. It was just really short shot of Asia waving by and it was so funny. She was like, did you happen to catch that? I took a video of it. I'm going to put it up here to show people, but go ahead. Yep. So, um, meanwhile around the boat, Joe has a napkin out and he's pretending he's like a bull fighter and because he's pretending she's a bull, just they're laughing and joking. So, this is this is the um this is the demeanor and and the joy of someone who has just broken up with uh by someone who he has claimed was super super special for weeks now. Uh someone who he he sobbed over uh you know earlier in the episode and now she dumps him and he's like you know cheery and playing games with the girl who he had who he had the oopsie with. So like clearly all that all
that's [ __ ] and not not that you need to be convinced at all because we all know it but just you know more evidence of how this Okay, so
okay for those of you on craftsman on demand this is just Aso waving back and forth.
Why is that why does that make me laugh so much? Just watch it again. I watched that like 10 times. I don't know why that brought me so much joy. It's cuz her head and her hand are moving like at the same like they're like connected by a string.
She's so ridiculous. Okay, sorry. Um, so yeah. Uh, so then Nathan rejoins V at the table and we see that the new guests are coming from Alaska, guys. They're from Alaska. So now it's time to lunch uh to lunch and uh Captain Sandy compliments Josh and he's like, "Tonight's going to be plated." She's like, "Oh my gosh, you are killing it. You are killing it." Oh, and you know who else is killing it? Nathan. Those toys are already in the water. Amazing. I love toys. Jesus. Captain Sandy hears a little BB in the morning and she's off to the races. She is She is happy. Like I'm surprised that she didn't go find Asa and say, "Just want to remind you."
Still not worried about those floors, right? I'm not worried. Does this Guess what? Who Who's one who's a captain with who's not worried and has got two thumbs? This guy right here. That's me. This guy. Okay. Not worried at all.
So, now for some drama. Um, one of the gu the guests are on the water toys. One of them wants to go on the jet ski. And um Kathy's like, "Okay, so just to warn you, Nathan, that dude has had four spicy marks, so be careful with him on the jet ski." So Nathan radios Max and says, "You know, if you want if he wants to go on the jet ski, just hop on with him." So then we go down to the swim platform and V heard that. So she's like, "Max, he's been drinking. He can't go alone." And Max is like, "You drinking?" And he goes, "Well, earlier."
And Max goes, "Oh, what? Have fun." And sends him on his way alone. Be's like, "Uh, dude."
And so Max is such a [ __ ] [ __ ] He should have been fired right then and there. They know they have Gail at the hotel. Just get Gail.
Yeah, I honestly I can't stand Max. And let's not forget this season has been a long one because it feels like it was It feels like it was millennia ago that Max pet a jellyfish and then touched his eye. I mean, like, let's This is what we're dealing with here. And we're putting people's lives in his hands. This guy should be 100% fired. He does not listen to orders. He He He's He is very like scatterbrained, you know? Uh he he can't focus much like me trying to finish the sentence and he is just out of control. I'm sorry. He doesn't listen to or like he has very simple instructions that he never follows. He he he whips himself into a frenzy. This is not someone I would not want him on.
Like if I'm a charter guest, I don't want this person in charge of my safety. Get Get Gail. Get Gail and let let her drop an anvil on her foot again or whatever it was last season, but I still trust her.
Yeah. So he's like, "Max, can you now go get the guest off the jet ski?" And he's like "Okay Kobe is everything under control? Hey, I just wanted everyone to know. Everyone, everyone, Sandy, Sandy, uh, someone told me BB today." So, okay. Hope everyone else is having a good day. So, uh, Max goes up to Nathan. He's like, "You can't let people go on the jet skis who drink." And he's like, "Oh, he didn't tell me he was drinking." And then we see goes 15 seconds ago be saying Max he's drinking he can't go alone so to me he's fine he's speaking clearly he's like get get the guest off the [ __ ] jet ski max oh max hard acting since he hasn't been able to lead duck hunt and at this point that's a safety concern and I'm not having it so uh god I didn't even think about the the idea that maybe Max would get fired and Gail would be brought on like that gives me so much hope for the final like three or four Please, please.
Even though it means we have to watch Nathan whine around Gail the whole time. I'll take it.
I'll take it. I will take it. Like Max, like the only reason why I have not lost my mind about Max is that like I've been losing my mind about like Joe and Ky and other ineptitude and people sticking [ __ ] down drains. But the truth is that like low-key every time Max is on screen, I get annoyed and I'm repulsed and I'm just like, "Please leave. Go somewhere else. Go back to your Iaska retreat. Go back to your hypnosis. I cannot have you on my television any longer. So now uh Kizzy and Joe are like, "Oh, there needs to be entertainment tonight. Maybe we should do a dance." So they start practicing for, you know, dancing with the Never Going to Bees. And uh then Kizzy is like, "Oh, you know, we see Kathy in the galley where Josh is cooking and Ky's like, "Wow, it's [ __ ] awkward between them." And Kathy's like, "I'm [ __ ] I don't even know. Like I'm in my Oh, no.
This is the part you were talking about earlier, right? where Yeah. V starts bitching where V starts bitching about Max.
Mhm. Yep. And [clears throat] she because she can see the awkwardness. Yeah. Yeah. Like don't I will say don't don't [ __ ] to Kathy. You know it's hard because Kathy does seem like someone that you'd want to go and like just [ __ ] to. Be like gh this person's being so awful. And Kathy be like I know love. You just have to deal with it. Some people are just stupid. You're like thank you Kathy. I needed that. But like you can't do that to to the guy that Kathy's banging. Especially when she's like she's grief banging. So it's just like Max is more important than usual.
Yeah. But I feel like work is separate than banging. And so if you're on deck with somebody, you have a right to [ __ ] about them.
Yeah. Okay. I feel like, you know, then don't [ __ ] people at work if you can't listen to me [ __ ] about them. You know what I mean? Like they're fair game. We're at work.
There's also so few to go [ __ ] to people. Like she can you can only [ __ ] to so many, you know? Um, so Max is now on the jet ski floating around, flying around, and uh, Nathan is pissed and Joe's like, "Well, I can handle Max. You know, he'll be more receptive to delicate and light conversation rather than the firm, aggressive Nathan hand." So, he's just doing this to Max. He's like, "Max, tone it down a bit." Which does nothing.
Yeah, it does nothing. Does nothing. Um, so now they're setting up the ham thing.
And uh Cath, by the way, this was notable. I thought Kathy goes up to the guest and is like, "What time do you want to have dinner?" And they say 8:30. I'm sorry. I did not see the chef yell at Kathy. What? It was only a few weeks ago that Kizzy asked the guest when they wanted to have dinner. And then the chef was like, "Never ask the guests when they want to have dinner. You tell me first." And here's Kathy being like, "What time do you want to have dinner?"
Yeah. Exactly. So clearly it was an anti-kissy moment. Um, and so they're bringing up stuff, tender, like all that kind of, you know, just like deckhand kind of boring stuff. And Max is complaining about, you know, communication and he's, well, he was V was saying V is sort of being uh, she's sort of being nice to Max. She's like, well, that launch we did today wasn't so bad. Like, yes, today, but you had to be like blah blah blah blah blah. Okay, we do it better. Like, why you so mean to me? He's just going off on me. He's just like, whatever, bro. Just walks. Uh, and then um V is talking to Asa in the galley and Asa's asking her if she's stressed and she's like, "I mean, I just had a rough day with Max. Like, he's on his period more than I've ever been, you know, and like I've never been that emotional."
Like, I mean, as a woman as that man is right now and Kathy has walked in and is like making a face and she's like, I mean, I pity him to have so much emotion affect you like in one day. That's a lot. And Kathy's like, "How dare you? How dare you? So then Kathy then is like whispering to Kizzy. She's like, "If he goes on about Max one more [ __ ] time." And Ky's like, "But surely she knows not to [ __ ] about Max to you." Oh yeah, Kizzy. I'm not going to go to you about social mores and what is right and wrong and interpersonal relationships.
Okay. So you be quiet over there. Yeah. So um she's like, "Yeah, I don't like that. It's been all day." And V is like, "I mean like you're literally dating him." And Kathy's like, "Oh my god, don't say that." So then Nathan teaches Joe how to use the controller box. So now they're working with the crane on the boat. Okay. And so Joe is lowering the hook down. Nathan goes down to get it. And then he gets hit by the by the crane.
It's a lot of people getting hit by that crane this season. It's the second time.
Things are really swinging around this season. But yeah, um I was really kind of sad that they did not have a camera uh or even some sort of stationary camera. Like how did they miss the shot of the hook bonking Nathan? Not only in the front of the head, but it turns out in the back of the head because it bonked Nathan in the front of the head. Then he ducked down and when he stood up again, it bonked him again on from the back when it swung back out.
I love that that crane is like the audience. So then [snorts] we see that the jet ski has drifted away again. So the jet ski is in the middle of the ocean and it looked like the tender was too, but I guess the tender is just like on a long road.
Everything's gone to [ __ ] Yeah. Everything's gone to [ __ ] basically. Yeah. So, um, he's like, "Well, the crane got me in the face. Wait a minute." And you see the jet ski just out in the middle of the ocean. So, so, so Max is like, "Oh my god, got to go save it." So, he like rushes out to get it. And meanwhile, Nathan's trying to like mend his the front and the back of his head from getting the hook in his face. Thanks a lot, Joe, by the way, for doing that. And then, um, well, Max is doing that. Kizzy is Kizzy and Joe are now like dancing. They're they're preparing for their performance that they're going to do that they volunteered to do together uh for the guests. So again, Joe on the heels of getting broken up, not trying to win back V. Like not even the slightest amount. He's like already boom right back into Ky. And Ky is like, you know, she's like, well, you know, me and Joe have great chemistry, but with
everything that's been going on with Joe and V, I know that if we do anything, everyone would hate me. which is her way of pretending like she's gonna have a heart about the situation and then she will go forward immediately.
Yeah, everyone already hates you, so don't worry about it. So then um a guest is talking about an incident report she got from her daughter's school. She's like, "Yeah, so like during lunchtime, a friend had a book that Vivian wanted and then Vivian took another book and hit the friend with it." I mean, [ __ ] shouldn't have taken the book. Am I right?
So Josh is watching a video about how to do uh how to cut the hamon. Josh, it's a little You're really cutting cutting it close. No pun intended. I
No, no pun. No pun made because he did not cut that ham close. That was that was some thick ham. That was some thick ass ham. Joe,
why are you Why are you waiting until the last second to watch this video when you have to bring the meat out? Like could you have taken like five minutes or ahead of time? Also, you know, you can watch these videos at like 1.5 speed. Just a little pro tip. So, um, Nathan's calling for Max. He's and but Max is ignoring him because he's just like there's this there's this silliness that's happening on the water where like, well, Max is getting the jet ski and they're trying to tie the jet ski to the hook to do this, but there's swells and Max is falling off. And while this is happening now, the kimon is coming up to the deck and Josh is there just when we say butchering it's appropriate because he is cutting meat. But when we also say butchering, we mean he's doing it terribly. It's just
so bad. And it's so embarrassing because the guest is standing right there like, "Wow, you really don't know how to do this, huh?" And he's like, "I watched the YouTube." She's like, "Oh yeah, you suck at this." And they're like, "Wow, this is really embarrassing." Like everybody's talking about how embarrassing this is and he's like, "Oh god, I feel 18 eyes on my back right now. My biggest fear is being laughed at." And then they cut to him in the clown costume. He's like, "I don't want to be laughed at." Like, "Am I a joke?
Are you a joke? Is this a [ __ ] joke?" [gasps] It's really bad when the lady has to go, "Well, you have to start somewhere." I'm like, "Oh, that's it's like I tell my daughter, you know, you listen, if you want to if you want to learn how to be a bad [ __ ] then you got to start with holding on to that book." Am I right?
Yeah. I really wish Vivian was here with a heavy book right about now. Anybody else? So, the guests uh So, they're making fun of him. And meanwhile, the jet ski is still a disaster. Max won't listen. He's on the jet ski trying to hook it up. And m um they're like, "No, it's it's too swelly out here. You have to do it from the water. Don't stand on it. Do it from the water." And he won't listen. So Nathan's about to kill him.
And he's like, "I can't take this. He won't do it. He won't listen to me." And something's going to change. Something's got to
him. Bring Gail back. I will listen to a million Gail conversations about her walls and Nathan cornering her being like, "I love you for the rest of my life." I will take that over having to watch Max for one more episode. Please.
Yeah, please. Max is so annoying and he's not like a bad person, you know? He's just like such a nice guy and all of that and whatever in his childhood, blah blah blah, but god damn, he's annoying. I can't believe that on a show all about working, they've kept Max for this long. This is crazy. Cray Cray Cray
in the day. Yay, that's it. So, we'll see what happens. Um, thanks everyone for being here. Another fun episode of Below Deck Mediterranean. And um, we're going to catch you on the next one. Okay.
