Well, hello. Hello everybody and welcome to watch what happens a podcast for all the crap we love to talk about on yel bls. I'm Ronnie that is Benjamunius over there. Hi Ben.
Hi. Look how excited I was. I said hello with you today like a Greek chorus. Oh god. Welcome everybody. Sad day indeed because it is the ending of an era. A Salt Lake City season 6 era because Salt Lake City ends today. Well, I mean it doesn't completely end. We've got the reunion episodes coming up where Daddy Andy gets angry and walks out. He's like, "I can't take it anymore."
But, uh, this is the season finale and I have loved the season. I mean, I love Salt Lake City. I love it. I watched a little bit of this, uh, membersonly Palm Beach show that everybody's talking about on Netflix.
It is like watching a Jimmy Dean sausage burn in an air fryer. I mean, I don't I can't look away. It's disgusting cuz I don't eat meat, but um I It's good. But nothing compares to Real Housewives. I'm sorry. It just doesn't. Okay. You just don't You don't win. Okay. I watched this and I was like, "This feels more comforting."
Yeah. I mean, I think Members Only Palm Beach is pretty amazing. I've only seen the first episode. I liked it because it felt like this. We were finally cashing in on the promise of Elise Sloan. It's like finally, finally, this is like Alisa Sloan needed to go down to Palm Beach and like metamorphosize into these women. And that's what we got with that. And that show, I think, is pretty incredible off the first episode. But Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City, I think it was a good season. I don't think it was as strong as some of our more recent seasons. I'm I I'm a little worried that it's winking at the audience just a bit too much. Like, it's it got away with it. got away with it, but like we need to like let's let's not become self-parody. But that being said, before we go any further, we have big news. In case you missed it on the last recap, tickets for the Golden Krappies are going on sale this Friday. Okay, the

So come join us if you're going to the festival.
Yeah, we're so excited to be there. Oh my god, so much food. All right, so let's get this going. Season finale, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, season 6, episode 16,
Sisters of Salt, a Greek tragedy. We open with Ominous Music. I am Greek. And um a lady saying, "Behold the daughters, the sisters of salt, the world's elegant grace, but the world did not see the war. and we see a sign that says something like the tomato performance like performing arts center. I was like I love that they did this whole big setpiece at like the tomato theater of Santorini
tomatoes are a big part of a big part of Greek culture. Okay. Yeah, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Um so I I was amused by that. It's like it's the tomato industrial museum, which is probably like a very like fine museum, but like for some reason, the fact that it's called tomato, it's like that's so appropriate for this show. So, yes, we hear this voice and then we see previews of what's to come later, like crying and masks and flowy dresses and it ends with Mary saying, "Why are we here if we're not friends? If we all feel the same way, there's something wrong." And then it's like and then the women all we see all the actresses fall on the ground because they die and it's very dramatic.
12 hours earlier day four of Angie's Greek Trap. So we open with Meredith making coffee and she's
How dare she? How dare she make coffee. Is something wrong with Meredith? She's making coffee.
Did you see that Meredith Marks made coffee in the very first scene? I mean, wow. Off to the races. She is a disaster.
Jacket Cole Betty Ford. She's going downhill. Everybody, she touched the button on the Nespresso machine. It's terrible. When will she ever stop? Now, we all knew that the season finale was going to be Heather and Whitney's final attempt at taking down Meredith. They've been trying it the whole season. Let's see what they've got. Do they have anything new for the season finale? Not really, but they do have the addition of Brunwin on their team, which I found to be an interesting choice. But you know what? Bronwin, I guess, decided to show up and she's she's here.
She showed up. So, let's see what they've got. Bronwin's a great fighter. I will say, whether you're on her side or not, I mean, she really she really can gather someone. I mean, she she is so good at it. So, uh Meredith is committing the cardinal sin of uh making coffee, not even by her own skill, just using a curig machine. So, she's making it for everyone and she's being nice and warm, which I mean, who would ever dain to be friendly in the morning after you had a rough night? It's almost like you slept on it and felt better when you woke up.
Like, what sort of [ __ ] is that? What sort of [ __ ] is that? Why are you not in rehab for sadness? That's crazy. How' you sleep, Mary?
Is that good? I mean, I slept. Well, I hope it's a nice day cuz it's her last day, Meredith. nice voice chiming in two episodes in a row. Uh so Angie comes in and um Angie has a swollen lip and you know Mary is that friend who just no matter what's going on in your life, she just makes you feel better. She just makes you feel beautiful no matter what is going on inside that. Just kidding. Mary just like kill it with fire. Is it bad? It's bad. It's really bad. It is really bad. And so Brahman comes in. She's like, "Um, hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi."
I'm gonna I'm gonna nod my head and um five times faster than I say hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi.
Look, we are really seeing Angie's heritage at work. She is so Greek. She's a full-on Greek tragedy. Cuz she's looking at the uh she's looking at the lip cuz they're like, "Did you see her lip? She see it? I slept next to it." So, Brahma's like, "Yeah, it look like Yeah, look at it. It's disgusting. Look at her lip. Hey, Angie, come over here. Look at it. It's disgusting. So, uh, Bronwin's like, "Yeah, it does look bad." Well, at least you're still pretty, Angie. Oh, thanks, Mary. Thanks, Mary. Jesus.
Yeah, seriously. So, Brwin says, um, something that I was a sentence that makes no sense as of right now. She goes, "I'm excited to see Stella's play." At which point I think everyone was like, "Uh, who who who's Stella and what's the play?" And Angie tells us, "We have had some ups and downs, but I want everyone to leave here reflecting back on this trip of a lifetime. So, I found a playwright who's going to write a play about us in the style of ancient Greek theater." Okay, I'm I'm just going to stop. I'm going to pause this recap for a second.
We all recognize that two years ago, Salt Lake City had the what I think is believed to be the best season finale of any Real Housewives franchise. One of the best season finales of any reality docu show ever. It was just fantastic. Exc. It broke the internet. We all know. I don't have to explain it. Last year, they clearly felt the pressure to top it and they had a maybe not quite as iconic, but definitely hilarious and memorable moment where they all sat down and read each other's text and that's when you have like one foot on the banana, one foot in the grave, yada yada. It was all great. I think it's now time to tell Salt Lake City and other franchises, you don't have to keep chasing the highs of season 4. Just let season 4 be season 4. Let's go back to having normal season finales because like this Greek thing that had this this Greek play was entertaining and I enjoyed it, but we're getting farther
and farther moved away from reality. As much as reality exists on these shows, I personally am like a fan of when the shows end with the big party and the whole cast and all like the husbands and everything, you know, everyone that's like associated with it comes together in a party. I enjoy it because there's usually something embarrassing that happens and it's more embarrassing because there's like mixed company there. Um, the ones that end on vacation are fine, too. I do enjoy that like that the vacation is climactic, but I just feel like trying to chase this moment where you have a big reveal or some giant set piece that happens, it's just going to like take us a little bit, it's going to it's sort of like heading, not saying it's happening, but it's heading towards jumping the shark. And I would love it if like we sort of like cap it with this season. Let's cap it with this Greek tragedy and let's like come back
down to earth a little bit. I hope I'm not being a party pooper, but that's like genuinely how I feel. What do you think?
Okay. Well, I I feel like you're allowed. You know, you're allowed. Mhm. Mhm. Okay. Thanks.
And I would like to say this I'm going to say this with as much respect as I can muster. I'm just going to say one word.
Boo. Bill. Bill. No. Boo. Totally disagree. I love this. I love everything about it. Salt Lake City is Community Theater Housewives. They're ridiculous. They've always been They shoot in parking lots. They were arrested in a parking lot. Like, this show is so stupid. Even their best season finale was totally scripted by Heather for the entire season. And I love it. I love a good show. I love a I love a show that's going to put on a good show. And this is definitely dinner theater. And I am here. The fact that they actually ended at dinner theater to me was just so poetic and beautiful. is everything we've ever called this show.
And the fact that we actually got real live dinner theater as a finale. I just was like, this is my favorite show. It can never be cancelled. Okay, now Heather is still too much. I know I'm on a Heather hate train this year. It's not really hate. Like I don't hate her or anything. I think she's very valuable to the cast. I'm not saying fire Heather or anything. Heather is too much. This is too much of Heather's drunken bullying people. She's belligerent and she's a bully and I'm that's it. That's it. I'm done with her and I'm done with her self-p producing. But the rest of it, I mean, I loved it. Even Braum went crazy.
I enjoyed the camp value of it, but I just felt I I do have like this nagging feeling like the producers are trying to like generate another break the internet moment. And I just I'm like I kind of want them to to stop trying to break the internet and just like focus on like the women a little bit more,
right? It's not a mystery, you know? It's like Big Little Lies. Did you watch that show? The first season was a mystery and then the second season they're like, "Oh god, how do we do this if it's not a mystery?" You know, and then people are like, "I'm not watching that. It's not a mystery
and it became a different kind of thing." And this one is not. You're not murder she wrote. I don't need it to be like and then Heather discovers the killer in the end. It's like I don't need that. But again, I think that that's Heather, you know? It's Heather and Whitney. I don't
Well, I think but I mean, we're seeing it on Bravo across the board. I think in the in the wake of Scandaval and in the wake of the season 4 finale, we're seeing a lot more of the housewives are finishing their seasons on vacation, which is not inherently bad, but I feel like they're trying to have these big like and here we picked up the it's either we picked up the cameras or we're going to have a devastating twist in the finale. And I feel like if the twist is there, if there is something to to be twisted, then sure. But like we don't have to like like I don't know. I just I just worry that they're they're trying too hard to to tell us almost like how to like to for us to be like whoa. And I'm like just focus like let the just let the women do what the women do best and I guarantee we'll be entertained and happy. And I'm not saying like I had a great time with this and I thought this
was really fun but I almost sort of want the producers to be like okay we don't have to like we don't have to be like we don't have to keep on trying to top ourselves every single season. just like have a good season finale.
Okay. Um well, you know, I feel like you're allowed, but you know, I I don't change a thing. Salt Lake City, you still got me. I'm still here. I'm still here. I'm still rooting for you.
Don't listen to Ben. Okay, I got you. Just come in. Come in. N nestle in my cheat.
Well, we're a wash. I think if the producers are actually listening, we're a wash. We're not a big help in that meeting because um yeah, I I just love it. But um we go to 3 days earlier and Angie and the girls are meeting Stella, the playwright. Stella Adler, the great actress, the great actress of the acting school.
Stella Adleropouloolis. Yes. Um Stella Fed Stella Fedler. Um so she's there and Angie's like, "Okay, ladies, this is Stella Fedler. She is going to write a play about us." And so now they have to be interviewed by Stella. So it is kind of mixing season finales where instead of going through each other's text, they're still going to [ __ ] talk each other, but now it's going to be to this weird redheaded lady. So and Whitney's like, "Well, I was bullied too for my red hair. How do you feel, Stella?"
So we go to Stella interviewing them and Heather is like, "Okay, what do you want to know about me?" I share nothing. I have a stained mattress. Isn't that wacky? I gave my mattress to Goodwill and I drove it there in a U-Haul truck. Broke the internet
and I wore heels on it and broke the mattress first. And then uh Lisa's like, "Okay." So Stella's like, "Uh, tell me what is the word? How do you describe yourself?" And Lisa goes, "Oh my god, oh my god, there's like so many words coming to my head." Um, smart. Okay, wait. What are some other words? Trees. Do you have any words for me? Trees. Okay, that tree says I'm pretty. Okay. Bases think I'm pretty. Go with that. Smart. Uh, yeah. Gorgeous, good-looking, hot, rich, rich, smart, and rich. Right.
Lively. And Britney's like, happy. And Braun was like, um, quirky. Mhm. Unique. Mhm. Shows up at airport dressed like rhinoceroses for their farting husband while they make out. It's fun. It's fun. You had to be there. It's It's a good time. Pensive. I would be um very pansive. Um well, for me uh I'm very well spoken. You can write that down. Well spoken. Oh um how do you say New York Times bestselling author in Greek? Whatever that is. Write that in there, too.
I'm a free spirit. And Mary says self-aware, which is hilarious. The same week that her cult documentary came out.
And then also Britney goes um deep. Oh god. Here's the thing. I was about to say here's the thing. Even when the show throws in contrivances, these women are still so [ __ ] so good. I loved every second. Lisa's like intuitive. Yeah, I'm a Sagittarius. I'm a total Sagge. You're a Sag, right? Are you a Sag, Stella? She's Oh, yeah. Oh, you're a Capricorn. Yes, you are. Yeah. Oh. Oh, yeah. Leo.
No. Aries. No. No. Okay. What are you? What are you? Pisces. Oh my god. I knew you were going to say that. I knew you. My next my next guess was a chicken finger. But I'm so glad. You know what? I knew it. I knew it.
I thought your astrological sign was chicken finger at first, but then I was like, it's either chicken finger or Pisces.
What can you tell me about your friends here? She goes, "Oh my god, dramatic. Poor poorer. Poor me. They're poorer than me."
Um, they have to be nice words. Mhm. Okay, that's going to be hard when he goes ego and then because they won lots of awards, they've got egos. That is eot. I'm working for one right now.
I don't follow elephantal Greek over top play winner. Okay. You know, I uh you may not know this, but I am actually the first ever Griot, which is Greek Emmy, Greek Grammy, Greek Oscar, and Greek Tony Award winner.
Actually, I didn't win the Tony, but here in Greece, it is Suziki. So, I did win a Suziki award.
I won that Suziki. Huge, huge contest. And of course, the to Yes, it is very, very special. Of course, there's no Grammys either, but it is a hero. So you know that is the G.
It is silent Jack in the box. We don't have Tony's. It's actually fetach cheese. So it's actually an ego.
Here we just we only award Tony Shaloo over and over again. It's uh Greek goes down for edible.
We call the Tony Salob award is for Greek enough. Okay. It's not actual Greek, but you're Greek enough to win this award.
The E is actually for E is actually for lecturer. I knew it. So, Heather's like, "A word for my friends. You want one word for my friends? How about lack of justice?
That's uh Okay. Um, pride. Okay. Well, I think it depends on how you define one word. I would say we're talking about an actual like friendship that I've had for a while.
Um, I would say guarded. The sisterhood is guarded. Martyr. Martyr McFly. Uh, do you mean Marty?
Oh, whoops. Can I have a new word, please? Alcoholic pill popper exploited my vagina. Dingbat. There's a word to write down. And Mary goes, "Well, I like all of them except one, but that's I mean that's okay." Britney goes, "That's hard coming up with a word." And Lisa goes, "I'm just excited to see how this play turns out. Just make me cute." Okay. Thank you. Thank you. All I care about is I look good. So, we come back to the present and the girls are in the kitchen. Thank god Meredith is not making somebody coffee today because they would have had that girl thrown in a goddamn mental hospital. Jeez. So, the girls are in the kitchen and Andre's like, "I think it's going to be a great final curtain on our last Greek night." And Britney's like, "Good morning. Wait, why are we dressed already?" Well, I we're going to sit by the pool before we meet my cousin Michaels. Okay. Miki Miki for lunch. And
you guys are going to love him. He's Greek. He is Greek. Well, would anyone care for a cappuccino? Cuz I'm in a good mood today. Cappuccino. the devil's beverage.
Rollins's like, "I'm sorry. Uh, we're uh taking someone in. We've heard someone's offered a cappuccino in this house."
Seeing Meredith so fine and easy, breezy, beautiful this morning is like a Maybelline ad. Mhm. Because really makes me uncomfortable because hours ago, Meredith was texting me to come to her room in a full panic. Mhm. It's being out of control that everyone's out to get her and now she's fine. I mean, everything's great. The birds have are birds are singing. Coffee is flowing. Merit's alive. Happy to live. What what is that? Um, have you not heard of coffee? Have you not heard about what it's like to you're you're you're crashing out and then you have your morning coffee and you're like, you know what? It's chill. It's chill. I'm in Greece. I'm fine.
And here we are with Bronwin again being like, oh my god, Meredith spinning out of control. Totally losing it. Going crazy. You know, she just wants coffee. What's going on with Meredith? Meredith was losing it last night. Oh, where's the footage? Show me one bit of footage, please. Show me the text. Show me the text.
I believe you. Also, like, aren't you Aren't you allowed to lose it and like be paranoid and talk about it with your friend and then you go to sleep and you chill out and you wake up the next morning, you feel better. Are you like not allowed to feel better after? Like, isn't there an expression like sleep on it? Like, aren't you allowed to vent to friends? Like I don't see what's create I I actually don't doubt that she was like she was losing it, you know? Cuz the thing is this, they this cast knows that when it's like the finale dinner, they know it's going to be really really hard. They're going to have to be like they're going to be like fighting on a different level cuz like that's that's just their their new thing they have to do. So like yeah, she was freaking out and I think that's like literally okay.
And I think it's also okay to wake up in the morning and feel better. If if that was the case, then that yeah, that would be okay. But I see no evidence of her spinning out at all or freaking out in a full panic. Like, I just don't see it. That's not there's not evidence in the text that she did that. There's not any evidence in the footage leading up to it that she did that. This is Brunwin totally using words again to go off on somebody and then later she'll be like, "I never said that. I never said I never said I never said you were losing your mind." You know, but she doesn't do that. But I thought at this point she was going to do that. Ramen has a history of being like she was yelling when someone's not like saying that. And the truth is here's what I imagine happened. Meredith probably like come to my room and she's like, "Okay, tomorrow's going to be a [ __ ] show. I'm just thinking about it. Like what do I
have to deal with? Like what did you guys talk about at lunch? I know you guys are going to like it. No one's going to come back in my face. Just like can you give me a heads up? I just I just really am not in the mood to deal with this right now. Can you just just let me know what what what were you guys saying? Like what what what what's going on? What what is tomorrow going to look like? How do I have to prepare myself? Which I don't like I imagine it was something like that. And Braum was like she was freaking out. She was like what's happening? What's tomorrow going to be like? What's she was she wanted to know what's what's happening at lunch?
What's happening at lunch? I just And by the way, even if it's at its worst version, the Broadway version. I just still don't think there's anything wrong with that. I just don't see what's wrong with freaking out the night before the finale knowing that you're you've already been attacked so many times this season so you know it's going to come out like it's going to be the boss fight and you just want to be prepped by someone that you think is a friend.
Yeah, agreed. Um what what is shitty is taking an off camera conversation and then throwing it in somebody's face to get airtime the next day and get cred with the other girls. But that'll happen soon. Spoiler alert. So then uh Meredith and Whitney are out or Heather and Whitney are outside and of course trying to figure out how they're going to get Meredith. And I love this because Ronald's like, "Oh my god, she's freaking out that everyone's trying to come for her." Like, "Oh my god, everyone's coming for her." Cut to Heather and Whitney. How are we going to get married? How are we going to get this [ __ ] So Heather's like, "Meredith made me a cappuccino. That women surprises me every day. I'm just learning so much about them. I mean, we're finally going deep deep. A cappuccino.
And this is actually a dig at Lisa because last night in this in the sprinter van, Lisa's like, "Guys, I like deep in my friendships. Like, I want depth on dimension with you. Like, I don't want to get it just from a pine tree. I want it from my sisters, too. Like, we always sit and talk about like you said, you thus instead of actually talking about like who we are." And Heather's like, "Are you yelling at me right now?" No, I'm saying it to the group. I'm saying it to the group. I want depth. I want be deep. Come on, let's share people. So Heather's like, "I mean, have you ever asked Meredith if she knows how to make a cappuccino?"
And Whitney goes, "What? But did she make it or did the machine make it?" I was like, "Oh my god, the woman can't even make you a [ __ ] cappuccino without you trying to come for her. What did you ever make? Did you ever design one piece of jewelry, you [ __ ] Alibaba [ __ ] Shut up, Whitney."
I know. This is like, and the thing is this, it's not like Meredith was going around saying like, "Here's my special cappuccino with my my family ingredient. Me and my sister would put our hands on the coffee beans as we put them in the grinder." No, she's just like, "Who wants a cappuccino?" I just got my breath really hot and then I blew bubbles with a straw into the milk until it steamed. Would that been
Let me tell you, let me tell you something. I want to say I'm sorry to interrupt you, Ronnie, but now I'm a little fired up, which is to say that standing by that curig machine is not nothing. I think anyone who stood by one Kurig machine waiting for their single coffee has been like, "Oh my god." And like, I know it's only 30 seconds, but it's probably the longest 30 seconds of your life. You're just watching it, the dribble coming out, and you're like, "Can you dribble any faster?" And then you watch the white part come out.
You're like, "Oh." And then you think it's done, and it's like and it spits out some more, and you're like, "When is this over?" And now she's done that six times. That's actually a good amount of commitment and I applaud Miss Marks.
Yeah. So Whitney's like, "Well, last night was just all around frustrating for me." Well, yeah, because Lisa wants us to go deep, but she's the most shallow of the group. Yeah. We've been begging you to be vulnerable, and we've been begging to crack open your shallow shell of worldliness and materialistic things and be our friend. Oh god. Yes. You've really been begging Lisa and Meredith to be your friends. Shut up. Who Who do you think is watching this show? We are watching this show, ma'am. And Heather's like, "Just be the hippie you are touching the tree."
I feel like I have sliced myself open and bled all over these guys for years. So this whole no one's being real and honest and raw turn like that, judging your eye direction, like that's crazy. Um, Heather's been open and raw about I think for sure her story with Mormonism, but it's also kind of like a it's like a like we don't really know much beyond that if you really think about that. And we actually they hinted at it this episode really for the first time, which is like what's going on with her personal life, her dating life, how she like laughs it off or whatever. Like she will tell you about her family trauma and she'll tell you about Mormonism. Um, but it's other stuff is kind of closed off more than she I think would admit.
She doesn't talk about anything personal. That's it. She doesn't She's talked about the Mormonism thing, which she's branded. So now that's her thing, right? She's going to She'll talk about anything that she can make money off of, but then she's not going to talk about anything else. We don't know [ __ ] about Heather.
Not that I'm complaining. So, um, Whitney's like, "Uh, let's be in the moment with each other and have fun." Like, where did that come from? Okay. So, you you don't like them when they're closed off and now you don't like them when they say they want to be open. You can't win with these two, you know? So, then we go to Bronnin knocking on Mary's door and um she comes in with her like nice mommy voice like, "Mommy, who just yelled at you last night but is now going to be nice?" She's like, "Oh, look at you, Mary. Your room's so clean and nice." Mhm. Mary. Hi, Mary. Why does everybody talk to Mary like she's a child? Have you noticed that? It's so weird. Whenever Mary comes into the room, they're like, "Hi, Mary. How are you? You slept. Look at you. You got yourself dressed this morning."
Well, it's because of what we talked about on the last episode, which is that because ultimately Mary is like a bit like emotionally like there's there's some stunting and there's there's stuff in there that like we've you know, Mary's gotten this edit as being the sage one of the group and the most emotionally mature and you know, she definitely has that in her, but like we forget Mary Mary's a bit kooky and you kind of don't know where what direction she's going to go in any given day. So, I think they just are like, "Let's just like we've kind of figured out the way to deal with Mary and like the the the tones that she likes, you know?" So, she's like, "Your room is really nice.
Like, what's going on?" Funny because they spend the rest of the episode being like, "We all have to change how we are around Meredith to not set her off." But then whenever they're around Mary, they're like, "Oh, hi Mary. She felt too hot. Here you go, Mary." So, yeah. So, Brahman comes in with that voice and she's like, "Um, hi." Uh, and Mary goes, "Yeah." Well, she goes, "Mary, your room looks so clean and nice." And she's like, "Yeah, I don't sleep on the covers. I don't know who slept on those." So Mary just spends the entire vacation sleeping on top of the bed.
She was so funny. So Brain's like, she's like, "So, how'd you sleep?" She goes, "Not good. Remember with me and Meredith last night sitting out there talking and you and you two and like everybody was kind of like went to their rooms and after we went to bed last night, I didn't go to bed." Mm-m. I did not go to bed. She's like, "What do you mean?" Well, I'm brushing my teeth and I get these texts from Meredith and she says, "Are you still up? Can I can I come upstairs? Do you want to come down here?" She wants to talk to me. So, I go down there and she was very clear that she feels nervous and that everyone's been talking about her since the plane and she doesn't like what's been said and things have been lies. And she specifically said to me, "What did you guys talk about at lunch yesterday?" I'm like "So
Mary, when is the spinning out full-blown panic attack and freak out that she was having in what you just said?"
I don't get where the where the problem is so far. And also, the one who seems to be freaking out is Bronwin. So, Mary's like, "I mean, it's 2:30 in the morning and you want to know about what we talked about?"
It's like, yeah. Yeah. Well, I just like to point out that Heather also asked Whitney, "What happened at that lunch?" And it's not a big deal. Why is it a big deal now to ask what happened at the other scene? What did you guys talk about in the other scene?
Why is this so weird? I don't get it. And who is Brunwin to be acting like somebody's friend and like stay up? And we see a clip of them talking and they're just like being calm like having a nice calm like in their pajamas conversation and then she said, "You want to come to my room to like finish our conversation or whatever?" But what kind of friend is like, "Oh, okay. I'll come to your room to talk privately off camera. Oh, you're insecure about tomorrow." and then the next day wake up and be like, "Oh my god, Meredith is insecure. Disgusting. Can you believe that? Can you believe her?" I mean, what a shitty [ __ ] person, man. Bronwin Bronwin is not a trustworthy person. I love that Brunwin advocates for the LGBTQ plus community. I love that she, you know, plays all her performative cards correctly, but Brunwin is an [ __ ] and a terrible friend. And the best thing she ever said is at the end
of this episode where she's like, "Well, I don't like untrustworthy people cuz I am an untrustworthy person." And I was like, well, at least you're self-aware, which is more than I can say for a lot of people, but god damn, you're an [ __ ]
I thought that was a really good moment. You know, it um she's basic. So, she's like, they're both saying like, "This is so weird." And Mer's like, "Yeah, cuz like why didn't she ask that when we were all out there before?" And Brahman's like, "Yeah, and because you were at lunch with me and like why couldn't you say it to both of us?" So, I'm like, "This is a weird like what is this weird paranoia?" She's trying to drum up paranoia. So Mary's going with it because I think it's like what you said the last episode. Brahman came in with a certain energy. So Mary's kind of matching it.
And Mary's like, I mean, well, she thought you were going to tell her like you did. She goes, "Yeah, and I didn't. I just kind of danced around it." She goes, "Maredith and I have had an increasing problem where I think showing up as a friend for Meredith is telling her things to be helpful to her." And I warned her that there was discussion after the plane ride and how how much you drink. And I mentioned it to to her that Britney was throwing up in her room on the yacht trip. And later I heard that she spun it as someone thinks you're an alcoholic cuz they're throwing up on a boat trip and they saw and now I'm realizing that Meredith is using me and the things that I say to get at the other woman. Well, I'm sorry, but last time I checked, you were the one who took Britney out shopping and while Britney was being shady, you took all that information and you spun it out to be 10 times more venomous and toxic than
what Britney said and you gave it to all the women and now you're accusing Meredith of doing the same thing that you already did on camera to Britney. And I think that right now Brunwin is actually just kind of projecting, you know, because she knows this is exactly what she would do. She's accusing Meredith of act of of having these ulterior motives because those are the motives that she knows herself that are inside of her.
And she also was the one who was like, "Oh, yeah." And she says that Meredith is is always having epilepices and all of that to start the fight with her and Meredith.
That's right. You know, and this she came to exaggerated that, right? I came to this discussion after the plane ride about how much she'd have to drink. Okay. Well, you're the one who started the stuff with her and the other people. Why are you acting like your hands are clean? And then how is it helping her when you mentioned to her that Britney was throwing up in her room on the yacht trip? Cuz she just said, you know, I I think showing I think I'm showing up as a friend for Meredith by telling her things to be helpful to her, like that Britney was throwing up on our room on the yacht trip. How was that helpful to her? And later that was spun as somebody thinks you're an alcoholic.
Bronwin, you spun it as she was an alcoholic. Why else would you be saying, "Yeah, she's throwing up all the time in our room." Like,
well, Bronwin, to be fair, Bronwin said that that Meredith approached her and said, "I heard that Bron Bronlin was throwing up." And she said, "Yeah, she was throwing up." That's what she
But they all saw they all I'm not even saying but to argue with you because I'm not even arguing with you. But she um we all knew that Britney was throwing up that whole trip. Britney was wasted that whole trip barfing and then drinking again. They were all giving her [ __ ] at the table. So, if they were saying later like, "Oh my god, she's been throwing up." And Braraw said, "Oh yeah, I'm her roommate. She's throwing up over and over again in the room, like she's just adding to the fire and now making it look like other people are throwing her under the bus." No, you were throwing Britney under the bus. Yeah. Just like you were throwing everybody else under the bus when you went to Meredith the first time. Why are you the only one that gets to hear things and go tell the other ladies? That's the other thing is that like she's really mad that she had a conversation with Meredith and then
Meredith went and like outed part of that conversation at the group lunch at Valters. But now here she is doing the same thing back to Meredith the very next morning. I actually love Brahman. I think Brahman's great. I think Brahman's a great Real Housewife. I really enjoy her quite a bit. But I do think that like she has she doesn't really realize her role in and her hypocritical nature on these things. Maybe she does cuz at the end of the episode she does sort of have an epiphany. But like I do feel like like she is really blowing this blowing this thing up and and she's really throwing Meredith under the bus for something that I think is really benign
and she's m it's like she's mad at Meredith for coming to her room. That's so weird. Why would you go to somebody else and complain that Meredith came to your room? It's just bizarre. Like later she fights with M like now she forces a fight with Meredith, right? where she's gonna make it like, well, I'm in a fight with Meredith, so now I'm gonna betray her. But before that, it's like, why are you going to somebody else and talking [ __ ] about her and saying, "Wow, I have this problem where I think I'm showing up as a friend and then she's like making me look bad. You're the one who's doing it." Like, do you not see? It's so frustrating. It's so [ __ ] frustrating.
She must be like crazy. She must be reliving the trauma of everything that happened when she was 20 right?
Oh, for [ __ ] sake. people that were the people that were well, no, I'm not saying that she's relying on that. I'm saying that it seems obvious to me that she's reliving that pattern where the people that were supposed to be taking care of her, the people that were supposed to be good to her were not good to her. And I think that she's trying to get ahead of it this time. Like, you're not going to get me. And so, what she's doing though is she's really sabotaging these relationships as a result.
Yeah. She's an [ __ ] So, Mary's like, um, well, it's not right for her to do that. She's wrong. It's not right for her to do what? to go to her room and say she's scared about the next day. So Mary's like, "Well, we've been friends for years and I've seen her change and she doesn't want to hear anything and she feels like she's being attacked and she feels paranoid. You're literally sitting around talking about her for the fifth day in a row."
Yeah, she is being attacked. You are all coming for her. And she's like, when you don't talk and you bottle things up and you shut down like Meredith's doing, it comes across as she's breaking down. And it's very it's very alarming. It's very, very alarming. But at the same time, is Meredith bottling things up? She's she's blown off the handle like 10 different times. Like if if this is bottling up, I I would love to see what letting off the steam is.
Yeah. They want her to say that her husband's cheating on her is what they want. If Meredith doesn't come to them and say, "Seth is cheating on me and I'm very upset." They're not going to be happy.
That is correct. That is correct. So now outside Meredith is just like I'm this like balcony or a deck or something like that.
Exhausted from making six cappuccinos in a curig. very slowly. So, Brain comes up comes up and joins her and she's like, "Hey, are you working on something?" And she's like, "No, come on up. I'm just chilling out a little bit." She's like, "Okay, well, I wanted to chat with you and I want to make sure I'm not reading into something weird. I thought you and I had a little bit of an uncomfortable conversation." Mhm. And I think I might be overthinking it. Mhm. But I felt like you were asking me like what was said at lunch.
I did not ask you that. Mm-m. No, I didn't. Okay. Well, you didn't ask me what was said at lunch. You didn't You didn't say
No, I did not. You asked me what happened at lunch and who who did who and and and who did you talk about? Okay.
That is not true at all. It is true, Meredith. It is not true at all. What Brarwin is failing to realize is that she's falling into a Midith Max Marks trap, which is that Meredith, as she says later on, was I didn't ask, I stated it. which is this is where Meredith gets into trouble also because she does she does use semantics against these women all these time all the time and it's hilarious because we as the viewers know okay what Meredith is really saying is I didn't ask it but I did say it and unless you get it exactly right you don't you're not going to get it she's like Jeopardy like could you please be more specific is the airplane you don't get the the credit for winning the the clue
right but it is there is a difference in intent and asking and saying if Meredith went to the if Meredith said, "Come to my room." What did they say at lunch? What did they That's different than her coming to the room and saying, you know, I'm just insecure about tomorrow. I mean, there's all this stuff going on. You guys, you guys went to lunch. You were probably talking about me. There's all this [ __ ] going. They're constantly coming for me, you know? And then Brunin takes that and is like makes it sound like Meredith is saying, "What did they say? Tell me everything that happened at lunch." I mean, those are two different things, you know. So, I mean, look, obviously I'm going to be team Meredith because I think it's just shitty of Bronnin for somebody to say, "I'm feeling really insecure." You know, for all the people saying, uh, and the people in this cast is who I'm talking about, but the people in this cast
constantly saying, "Meredith isn't vulnerable. Meredith never shows her feelings." For Meredith to invite somebody to her room and be like, "I'm really scared for tomorrow. I'm really worried that everybody's going to be coming for me. I don't know what to do in this situation. Like, what do I do? like everybody I feel like everybody's after me all the time. So for you to have that conversation and open yourself and be vulnerable and then have that person the very next day wait until there's a camera there and then make the whole thing about well you came to my room and you made me extremely uncomfortable when you asked me what happened. I just that's just a shitty shitty thing to do to somebody I think.
Yeah. That being said, I do think that like Meredith Marks like sometimes she needs to she needs to work on her soft skills a little bit because her her go-to thing is to be like, you know, is is to have this semantics argument. And what happens is that like they wind up arguing about the semantics and they don't actually get to the to the core of it. And maybe that's the point. Maybe she wants to make it an argument about semantics, but like she needs Meredith needs to work on diffusing people better. She's really not good at it. And what she does is she gives energy that gets them actually more riled up. So she needs to kind of like learn how to be like, "Oh yeah, you know, I was I was concerned, but I'm I'm I feel better today now, and I appreciate you coming to talk to me."
She means to take a page from Brain's book, actually, which is to say, "Yeah, you're right. I did do that. That made you uncomfortable. Sorry. I'm so sorry. because then they move on. You know, Bronwin's like admits to anything and then it moves on, you know, and they never talk about it again.
But she's like a little bit stuck in lawyer mode. I have a I have a friend who I play board games with and he's a lawyer and when we play board games sometimes he just really gets into lawyer mode and like he he does things that just will rub me the wrong way and he's like he's in like he'll do moves in the game and he's entitled to do it. But what he doesn't realize is that like on a social level, he's driving me nuts. And it's like if he just stepped out of lawyer mode in that way, he doesn't have to for the game there. You know, he's playing the game properly, but what he's doing is he's he's sort of failing on the social game a little bit. And I think Meredith doesn't realize that like the legal ease and the semantics like she she may win arguments, but like she would actually be more successful at getting some of these women off off her back if she sort of spoke their language a little bit more and just like gave
gave if she sort of BSed a bit more. Honestly, she just needs to BS more because they speak in in BS language, you know, and and just give them some nuggets and and mllify them and then she can get them off their back. Yeah, I think so. In general, I think that's true about Meredith. But in this case, I am seeing more Bronnwin lies and Bronwin misdirects coming out than I do Meredith's deflections. And this is why. So, Bronwin's like, well, I'm goofed. I'm gagged. I just can't believe her. I'm befuddled. She's going to make me look like I'm crazy. This is some dumb [ __ ] foolery. I'm not going to deal with it. So then we come back to them and Braum's like, "Well, this bums me out." She goes, "Well, I don't agree with you and I'm not going to agree to something that didn't happen." And she goes, "But you did ask about the lunch."
She goes, "I didn't ask." And she goes, "Okay, you didn't ask me." And she goes, "Okay, well, you said I'm nervous." She says, "You said I'm nervous about tonight. I don't know what's coming." And I said, "Well, I don't either." So Bronwin's saying, "Okay, you didn't ask me, but we still talked about You see, Bramman has a way of like flipping things in conversations to make you look like you were doing one thing when you were really doing something else to make you look worse in this conversation. And she's doing it on camera. And Meredith has done this a long time. And she's also been [ __ ] over by Bronwin multiple times. I don't know why the hell she would go to Bronwin with anything, you know, when she knows Bronn's not going to have her back. But um yeah, so I'm not really believing Bronwin with this whole thing. I think Brmlin has decided she needs to do something this season because she's not
really in it in in it a lot with the ladies and she's going to jump on the anti- Meredith train because it's just easier and she wants to stay with the popular kids and finally be invited to that popular kids table and if she can get rid of Meredith and Lisa then she'll be, you know, she'll be with Heather and Whitney and she'll be better off.
So Meredith says, "Well, I don't know why." Mhm. Berth goes, "Well, I don't know why Brain is saying I asked her for information about the lunch because that didn't happen. She was very, very anxious about the play and I just texted her so I could comfort her and say that if you talked about something that was contentious, that's probably what will be there. So that she could maybe have some peace of mind having a clue as to what that might be. I'm just Meredith Mark's peace of mind giver. Everyone knows. Just lay your head right here on my chest and let me s say you to sleep.
Okay. I was just trying to be nice and that's it. Here I am. Crazy rich Asian just trying to make people feel good about themselves.
I just wanted to brush her hair, tell her what a good girl she's been, and if she had anything at once, she needed to get off her shelves. Cuz I don't I think Meredith is kind of full of [ __ ] here, too. I mean, listen, if you're in the room, you're talking about being insecure and all that. You didn't just say, "Well, good luck." Just
Yeah. I mean, you were talking like Meredith is not the most reliable narrator either. Like, let's not fully just like
let's let's not fully take the, you know, like a whatever the metaphor. No, look, I'm not saying Meredith is completely innocent in every conversation. I think she could deal with a lot of this [ __ ] better, but I think this [ __ ] with the ladies has been nonstop with Meredith. And I think it's really low when Brunin knows this and she goes to Meredith and acts like, "Oh, I'm going to be here for you off camera and then comes to flip it right in her face just to start a fight and have something in the I just think it's shitty." And I think Meredith knows exactly what she's doing and she's not going to give it to her, you know? So, while I don't believe that Meredith didn't say anything in that bedroom, I just don't think it's Bronwood's business to be like trying to throw it in her face today and making her look like a villain. I just think it's not cool. But yeah, I mean, of course, Meredith is like, "Let's gossip."
I mean, like Meredith, Meredith is, you know, she's like, "Oh, I was just trying to be nice. Just trying to like dole out the love." So, she goes, "Okay, well, what is it that you want from me?" She goes, "Well, no, I'm passionate now because I'm really [ __ ] irritated and I'm really [ __ ] hurt, Meredith. I was the lone person standing up for you outside the plane. Even Lisa said stuff about you." And Meredith is like, "Okay, Brin, thank you for standing up for me. Thank you very much. It's just Well, I feel like you're working me and I feel like you're you've used me and I feel like what you want when when when you want something from me, you think I'm like a pokey little puppy who's just going to like run behind you and like tell you [ __ ] and then you do use it against me. Mhm. Because I'll tell you what things that I [ __ ] care about you and I support you deeply and you [ __ ] used me and you [ __ ] sold me
out and I don't care who the [ __ ] you you're gonna use next. Okay. Can we just pause in the middle of this? Can we just pause in the middle of this 20page monologue? First of all, you know, she did betray you in the thing where you had said something. God, what was it?
She had said something about someone and and Meredith was like, "Broin, you know,
that was lunch when when she was like, well, I have her and now people think that I'm abusing pills." Bronnwin. Because Bronwin told her that that's what Whitney was saying,
right? But Bronnwin is acting like she was being so supportive. She was not being supportive at that lunch with Whitney. She was like, "Yeah, sounds like Meredith has a [ __ ] problem." And then she goes to Meredith and she's like, "They were saying you had a problem." So, how are you going to tell somebody that and expect them not to say it is one thing, okay? She has the right to say that. If you're telling her somebody, but anyway, you are right that she betrayed you on that cuz she did call you out. But this last one with Britney, she didn't call you out. She purposely didn't call you out. She left you out of it. So, why are you acting like she also turned that on you? Just because it was obvious it was it was obvious that it must have been you.
Sure. But she didn't she didn't call you out. I don't know. Bronwin's acting like such a victim. Like Meredith is always coming for Bronwin and tricking Bronwin into doing her. It's like the Lisa Vanderpump thing. We're like, "Oh my god, Lisa Vanderpump makes me do things and I'm not going to be stupid anymore."
Yeah. Are you really that dumb that somebody's going to make you do something? So she's like, "You sold me out and I don't know who the how who you're going to use next because there's no one else. There's no one else, Meredith. And you asked me for you asked me to come to you off camera. Well, [ __ ] that [ __ ] Meredith, are you lying right now or do you not remember or are you gaslighting the [ __ ] out of me cuz it's one of those options, Meredith?
Well, none of the above problem. And I don't like your accusations. Well, you know what? I know you said it and that's good enough for me. I was a good [ __ ] friend to you. Well, except for the fact that I'm just sold you out to Mary and other people. But good luck with your other the other [ __ ] cuz they don't have your [ __ ] back like I did. And I didn't and I don't either anymore. [ __ ] it. Like wait, when were you like the third [ __ ] friend of M? Like you guys just had your first conversation three episodes ago, I'm pretty sure.
Please show me the clips of Bronwin sticking up for Meredith ever. I've never seen that happen. When did it happen? She's ridiculous. And also, why is it so bad if Meredith said, "What happened at lunch?" Why? Why is that something to be yelling about right now? It's crazy. So she gets up and walks away and she's like, "Bullshit ass lies." You know, like Brahmwin does when she gets mad for no reason. She's like, "I'm furious now. I'm going to make it the whole episode." So Merida's like, "Well, I'm going to [ __ ] bill you for some lies cuz someone's threatening me."
So now it's time to go. Everyone's getting dressed to go see the cousin. And they get in the sprinter van. And um that Angie's saying how how the the cousin's like super excited to see them. And Angie's like, "Is Meredith here?" "Oh, you're so quiet." I was like, "Are we missing her?" She's like, "No, I'm being quiet in the corner as per my responsibilities as a legal consultant for this show. I am counsel. I'm in the corner." So Whitney's like, "Oh, come on. What's wrong?" Like, I literally don't understand how we go from waking up this morning. She's really happy to sarapus and miserable. Well, Whitney is making it sound like Meredith is just having a mood swing. She was literally just attacked by Bronwin. Bronwin accused her of being like in disingenuine. And on top of that, like aired out private conversation that happened off camera on camera. So Meredith is like, "Fuck these bitches."
And I know that tonight's going to be a [ __ ] show and I'm over it. I made them all coffee. And and Whitney's acting like like, "Oh, wow. Look at her on drugs having a mood swing."
Yeah. And Angie's like, "Guys, please have some impulse control in Greece. This is Greece." And my cousin is so excited to meet you all. Let's make it a positive experience. And uh Lisa's like, "Is this what we wear to meet C? Is this like cousin meeting attire? Your nipples are showing." It's like, I am out of clothes. I'm out of clothes. So Angie almost falls uh down these stairs because of course there's a lot of stairs to this place. And she's like, "Oh my god, my life keeps flashing before my eyes. It's all Greek letters.
I've got to up the life insurance policy at the rate I'm going." So then they said they hug Malis and they're they're have nice lunch and everything and um she said that like her cousin immediately jumped on a ferry to go meet them for lunch as soon as she said she was coming to Greece. and he he starts talking about like the grandfather and how he was born in 1890 and talking about the war and how they were affected and everything. And then he like left from Cree to go to the United States and because there were a lot of jobs and mines and that attracted a lot of Greeks to the region.
And so Andrew's like, "Well, that's great to know all of that stuff about the mines, but you know what? I don't know anything about my mother. You knew my mother, right, cousin?" And he's like "Mhm. Okay. Well, I asked if he remembered my mom, but you do, right? Cuz I don't know any stories of my mom. And he's like, "Mhm, I knew your mom." I was like, "Damn." So, okay. Well, cousin's not going to help with any stories about uh cousin hated your mom. Okay. Just going to put it out there. So, you have nothing to say. She's like, "I would just like one story about my mom." He's like, "She didn't pay the tab. Last time we went to dinner, I had to pay her tab." Like, come on, man. Give me something. So, she talks about how she doesn't have uh any of her dad her mom's stories because her mom passed away so long ago and um he's like uh well, I can take you to her town or whatever. And she wants to take Electra to that side
of she wants Electra to see that side because you know Electra only cares about her horse side of the family and so got to change that.
Yeah. So after lunch, they get back in the sprinter van and Angie's like, "I knew he was just going to be eating you guys up and just loving it." So Meredith is like muttering to Lisa. She's like, "Well, I don't even know why I'm here. It's not a big deal, but like why am I even here in a Sprinter van? I've got a toddler at home that needs to be fed white bean salad." Heather's like, So Heather starts talking to Brainage cuz
And honestly, I have to say this is where Meredith this is where Meredith loses me all the time. that this attitude of like, well, I guess I'm just not ever going to speak. It's like, oh my god. Like, you need to like have the stuff the the energy you start off in the morning where you make people cappuccinos and acting like nothing bothers you. You need to keep that energy.
Yeah. She because it never works on housewives when someone's like, "Fine, you're gonna be mean to me. I'm just gonna be here in the corner. Let me look out the window." They hate that. They hate that.
Most people actually hate that. So then Bronwin So Heather meanwhile is, you know, having a conversation with Bronwin extra loud like, "Are you okay, Bronnin? What happened? Please speak up for the van." And Bronwin's like, "Well, I mean, I'll say it." After we all went to bed last night, Meredith texted me and said she wanted to talk. And there was something that was said in the conversation that I feel uncomfortable about. And Meredith said it to me, said it to me that's been a lot. For weeks, you know, I felt targeted and lies have been said about me. And what did you guys talk about at lunch? And it's like I again just don't think this is crazy.
So Merith is like and this is where we have a sticking point because Ronwin thinks I was pumping her for information and I wouldn't have said something if it was the first time. I wouldn't have. And Heather goes, "Well, were you pumping her?" She's like, "No, I was not. I was not." Well, she did. She started to try, in my opinion, to gaslight the [ __ ] [ __ ] out of me. And that's that's the nicest way I can say that. That's the nicest way. I am so tired of this. This is a load of [ __ ]
Oh my god. Well, you did ask me questions. You wanted me to tell you about it. No, I am.
So, she's like, and then she said I was lying about that conversation and saying I didn't say that. She goes, well, I didn't ask. I made a statement about the launch. And Braum was like, well, and I said, I'm not [ __ ] dealing with Miss Mark's Esquire. I'm trying to deal with a friend. I want to be friends with you. I've stood up for you at some point sometime. I don't know really when. And I've [ __ ] other relationships for you, which is on me. I [ __ ] up a relationship with Whitney Rose, the most important relationship someone could have. And that's on me. But how much more do I have to bleed out for you before you stop [ __ ] with me with other people and I'm exactly [ __ ] right. And you're quiet for once without any legal ease behind it because you know it's true. [ __ ] it, Meredith. I was like damn.
So annoying. I mean, I thought it was a really good monologue. I may not have agreed with it, but I was like, as monologues go, that was a good one.
It's just typical Bronwin, like getting yourself all worked up to be mad over nothing. Like, okay, so you're mad because she asked you what happened at lunch. Okay. So, then they go back to the villa and Angie is like, "Be ready in an hour. Thress chic. We're going to a play." So,
at the tomato center, we're going to a play at the tomato museum. Angie is like she's saying that there's a lot of issues in the group and she's hoping that um by seeing how an outsider perceives them it'll be an eye openener. I'm like well it's an outsider but basically you fed her lines and then she's just going to regurgitate the lines cuz let me tell you something there's no plot in this play we're about to see. It's just she's just spitting out the things that you guys say. So Heather's like well I think Brarwin stories are like one foot in the [ __ ] bin and one foot on a banana one foot on a banana peel. That's a call back. But clearly this exchange occurred at 2:30 a.m. which makes me think Meredith is a sneaky sneaky friend. Um, did anyone else on the show ever have something that happened after after 2:30 in the morning when the cameras went went off?
It's sneaky because the conversation happened in the middle of the night. Okay. Cuz you had the same conversation, but it was in the daytime, so it was okay, I guess. And you were asking about lunch.
I was just saying she's just upset that no one emerged with a black eye from it. That's all. So
no one had a no one had a black eye to blame production on. So must be sneaky. So Whitney is like, "Wow, heading into the play tonight, knowing everything that I've said to Stella and imagine what everyone else has said to Stella, are we ready to deal with it?" I don't know. I can guarantee you Stella ignored your ass just like everybody else does, Winnie. So Lisa's like, "You know what? I know who I am. They can think whatever." which is why I will always love Lisa Barlo because she's like whatever. I look hot.
Yeah. Well, she says that until she gets massively affected. So Angie's like so they they go they get in the Sprinter van, they go to the tomato museum and uh Mary's like it's like a haunted house. So they wind up like in this outdoor area which is semi-public because because definitely in the middle of the scene while they were crying there were definitely people walking around in the background. So, um, they they there's like a little buffet that's set up. Britney's like, "Well, I'm a Lush, so I'll just go straight for the wine, right, Alie Lush? You guys want to fight about me again? That was fun."
Mary's like, "Does anyone feel suspicious?" Suspicious. And she goes, "Creepy cobblestoneed yard." She's like, "What?"
Knocks out. So, she's like, "I don't like any of this. We're dressed very nice and this does not seem luxurious." Well, for someone to write a play about your life, you want to dress up for it, Mary.
It's just so funny that Mary is the one going into this who's like the most like, I don't want to do this. I don't like any of this. This is terrible. But then when the play starts, she's the one smiling the entire time. She's the one who's acting like she's seeing like like her her child's play in school. She's just smiling. Everyone's like crying and like wiping tears away and covering the shock on their faces. And she's just sitting there smiling like this is a good play.
Yeah. cuz everyone else gets dissed except for Mary, you know. She loves that. That's like that's why she's been so pleasant this whole season cuz no one's come for Mary, you know. So Whitney's like, "Well, what would be your biggest fear to happen tonight?" And Mary's like, "I don't have fear." She goes, "Mine would be for the person playing me to have bad hair." So, um, Heather's like, "Well, after talking to Stella and giving her a shady description of all my friends, I'm pretty sure this play is going to be a Greek tragedy."
Like, oh god. Okay. It's good thing this is wrapping up because she's running out. She's running out of fuel over there.
So, um, Angie is like, I'm going to give you each. These are called manilas, okay? They're folders that you put papers in, but put them on your head instead. But they're like uh scarves and stuff to put on your head and they all have different colors indicating their character and Heather's like, "Mine is slightly small for my giant head, so I'm gonna Winnie the Pooh." No, doesn't work that way. So, they all they all put these things on and um now the play begins. So, Stella herself is in the play and no one told me she was an actor, writer. Hello, Stella. How she got her groove back indeed. So, she walks out with a with a troop and it's basically the women in flowy dresses and they do have some sort of like scarf that's like color coordinated to women in the audience and uh this lady comes out and she's she's narrating. Um so she's this lady who looks sort of like Piper from White Lotus. She's like,
"Behold the daughters, eight born of one house, each born beautiful, brilliant, brutal in her own right. They call themselves the sisters of salt. The world saw elegance. I'm like,
maybe we'll do a rewrite real quick. What the world did not see was the war. It began like so many battles did. Undercooked pasta at an extremely overpriced restaurant with something whispered. It began like so many wars with someone offering a machine-made cappuccino. Someone said something. Maybe it was someone. Maybe it was everyone, but something was said. It's like, I don't know. I'm going to need some more work on this play. I don't know where y'all found this, Stella, but this is a little on the nose. Okay. Can we make it more like can we can we get Andrew Lloyd Weber in here? I mean, I want to see them like crawling around singing like songs and stuff. I'm concerned about this act one break. It just feels a little unsteady. Like I don't know. We need to really just like the stakes are just not high enough for me. It needs to be more grounded.
I need more in the first 20 pages. We need some character development. The inciting incident is just really not strong enough. Okay. We need to be really clear about what started this war. Okay. From the top.
But gossip in this family grows like mold. Lisa, one of the eldest. And then it cuts to Whitney. that comes through with me going.
He was called the eldest. She summoned them to a family's supper. She offered them a challenge dressed as peace. I want us to go around the table one by one and reveal one honest thing about the sister next to you. No interruptions, no lies. Real without masks. Heather the deflector laughs loudly, mocking the plan. Mary rises and turns to address her sister. Heather, Heather, you're a joke wrapped in mascara. I'm like, "Wow, I really feel like I'm transformed to ancient Greece with that mascara line." That was really great.
I wish they had just used real lines like, "Heather, why would you wear that necklace? This does not work at all for you. Heather, you are inbred."
Heather, what did you say about me on TikTok? I don't know. They must have had it in ancient Greece. I'm just trying to be honest. source. You act like nothing touches you, but everything does. And you laugh because crying would make you real. You hide behind your humor like it is armor. Laughing loud enough to drown out the things you say. Heather's like, she's like, "That's hilarious."
We see that it was Mary who basically told Stella like, "Yeah, she does. She doesn't communicate her real feelings." Okay. And and so now Stella is like, "But behind every joke is a shadow, a demon you're too scared to say out loud." And the demon's name is Vecna. Sorry, I just watched the finale. It was really good. Really good. Really good. So then um we see a flashback to like Heather being her her walls are up and she's talking about like like when they ask her about like did she go on a date? When was the last time she went on a date? She's like what? Haha. What dating? So, she's a deflector because she doesn't want to talk about her personal life.
Yeah. And then, um, Heather turns to face her sister, Brunwin. Brunwin, you're not too faced.
You are no faced. I feel like that's a compliment on the Real Housewives. Oh my god.
Aren't we all going there? Gretch and Rossy would have taken that as a compliment.
I know. That's what the Everyone's aiming for that. Like, yes, I Botox my face off my face. Brunwin. Oh, and Lisa is saying to Stella in the flashback, Brunwin, she has like one face she lets everyone see, and the other one she hides. You want to be trusted, but you treat loyalty like a party favor. Cheap and easy to toss. Easier than a Whitney to toss.
What party has Stella been going to? She's like, honestly, that was more of a criticism to my friend Andromeda. She really gives bad party favors just clearly from 99 cents store. Like why?
I went to a New Year's party at my friend Michael's house and he gave us like the little blowy things for New Year's where you're like New Year's and the little thing unfurls, you know, you blow into it. And I picked it up to blow into it. It was chewed on and I was like, "Okay, maybe this is like a fluke." So I picked up another one. It was also chewed on. I said, "We're starting the year on pre- chewed blowy things. What is this? What kind of party is this?
Turns out you're just picking up dog bones. You just didn't realize. You're like, "Whoa, those mushrooms." Um, by the way, I have to say, as long as we're talking about sisters, I just got the loveliest email. We Ronnie and I are are are sign are are figuring out accounts, etc., as we're set up with Acast. And I just got an email that said, "Ben Mandelker, you have been added to Ronnie Karum." Isn't that so lovely? I'm added to you, Ronnie.
You were added to me a long time ago, Ben. Telling Cella about this. I've been added to Ronnie Caramo.
Oh, I just got one. Hold on, Ronnie. You just gained 170 lbs. God damn it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for giving me Thank you for taking 30 lbs off of me.
I'm a whole other person now. Okay, so she's still talking about um Brunwin. You collect secrets like trinkets, trading them between sisters under the guise of concern, but always leaving damage in her wake. Brun it turns turns to Mary who's still loving this. She's cracking up like this is like the heartwarming play of the year. She's like seeing the sisters Rosen swag over there.
So yeah, that was a real heartwarming one. Wasn't that a really depressing show?
Probably. I saw it in eighth grade. My parents took me to it and I was like, "Michael Learner, you are hilarious." Um, so then Bronwin is turns to Bronwin turns to her sister, Lisa. Lisa, you are wealth like a shield. You carry yourself like a queen among servants. You know, she's like, "Thank you. Thank you. Finally, a good moment." And then uh Stella's like,
"Finally, somebody sees me in this group." It's so good to get the hero edit. Stella is like speaking to our sisters, not as equals, but as Omen forever beneath your marble pedestal. Thank you. I did just get that marble in the living room. It took a while, but we got it. It looks great. Thank you so much.
And of course, this [ __ ] talker was Heather. So, um, a lot of these are Heather, right? Let me see. I'm I'm looking back here. I mean, I assume that they all talk [ __ ] about everyone and they just gave each sister some sort of
Yeah, this was Heather being like, "She thinks she's elite. Like, she's better and cooler and richer than us." I mean, so then um then we go to um Stella saying, "If you only you capable of apology, able to say I was wrong, but that would mean being lesser and humility is the only thing you can never afford." Wait a minute. Is that like a new brand?
Oh my god. Where do I even get that? I can go. Let me call Henry. Get something by humility. Okay.
Tell someone. I want to be on the list for humility. Thank you. Lisa turns to her sister Angie. Angie, daggers lie beneath your tongue. Actually, it is a piece of plate.
Really, really rough situation with that tray. So, we see that Brarawin said that like when Angie loves you, she loves you, but when she doesn't, she doesn't. So, voice sharp slicing and then we see flashback to Angie being like, "You look like you've been in a wind tunnel." So, Stella goes, "So foolish in your thirst to be the best aka center snowflake. Let's be honest, that you're left alone with nothing but the echo of the damage you caused." Angie turns to her sister, Bratanni. Britannie, when you speak, your words sound like childish noise.
It's like cut to Britney being like, to Mary cracking up. This is so funny. It was so [ __ ] good that that's the the one thing they had to tell Britney. Britney just looks like, "What the hell?" And everybody else is kind of like,
"You are loved. You cling to attention of men like your lifeline. so consumed by a man's attention that you barely notice your children fading quietly into the background. Britney's checking her text like
my god and texted me. That's actually like the harshest read of this play and but you know she was like God I love men though. Isn't that great? Um, so then uh we then we go Stella's like Britney turns to her sister Mary. Mary, you speak with a blade sharpened by a truth and uh we see
see Mary gets off so easy. Like that's the nicest repeat. Yeah. Like wow, you you tell the truth a lot. Damn it. And Britney's the only person to talk [ __ ] about Mary. At least in the flashback. She said, "Yeah, like I really want to love her, but like I feel very judged and your words often sting despite your conviction." And we see clips of Mary through the season being like, "Um, you're not a good friend. Go jump in the ocean. I think you're boring. I think you're boring, Meredith. You must learn that even in the righteous, the righteous must bend. For without forgiveness, your conviction becomes a cage." Mary turns to her sister Whitney. I'm like, "Uh, can we move ahead? Can we move this like second? This is going a little long here. Whitney, we feel compelled to dismiss you as shallow, a flirt, a body without a mind.
It cuts the best part. It's the best part. Lisa turning to Stella and going, "Bitney Bhutana. Yeah, she's a Putana, a loose woman. Perhaps you speak wisdom in passing, but no one listens long enough to hear you. You want to be more than decoration at their table? Shitty decoration, I'd like to add. Am I right, ladies? Come on now. You must speak up. Whitney returns to Meredith. Meredith, you hide behind your semantics, twisting language to dodge blame. Well, no, I don't twist language. I speak language. And unless you get that right, so I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to watch any of this play. I may not dodge blame, but I occasionally duck blame or move to the side of blame, and I will not be accused of dodging.
I will not be accused of doing a body movement that I simply didn't do. And if you want to say it, that's fine, but I will not engage with this play any further Stella.
And then we see Whitney talking [ __ ] about her, saying she plays the victim. Um, a martyier. Back to present. Arguing with you is like shouting into a maze. You drift between brilliance and confusion, and your behavior is unpredictable. How many beans do you need in one salad?
Shouting into a maze was actually a pretty good line. I was like, "Okay, okay, okay, Stella, you're you're you're doing okay." Well,
if I am shouting, I'm saying don't go into the maze. You're going to get lost. You're going to get lost. So Meredith looks down away from the maze because who wants to go in there? Am I right, ladies? High five. High five. No. Okay, I'll tell you who wants to go in the maze. Hercules, right? Am I right? Is anyone up on their Hercules stories and mazes? No. Okay. And for the first time, the words fall veer. The sister sat. Everyone wore guilt in their eyes. They raised their glasses, swallowing the truth like poison. Moments later, glasses drop and hands tremble. I was like, "Wait, so they just basically talk [ __ ] to each other and all die? Come on,
die. They talk [ __ ] to each other and commit mass suicide." I mean, yeah. I mean, this is We could do better. She made it sound like there'll be like a war. I was like, "This will be cool." Like there'll be a war, the war of the seven sisters or whatever. But they just all fall on the ground.
Yeah. They drank the Kool-Aid. So, they're dead. And she's like, "And now, for the first time ever, the house was quiet." And then I started laughing. That shit's funny. Stripped of rivalry, stripped of noise, stripped of bobbleheads, stripped of inbredad faces, the only voices that ever knew them. And at the candle light flickered over the stricken faces, the truth was revealed. You're no one without. Well, we have lost one sister. She fell into a maze. I told you not to go into the maze. and they're like, "Okay, thank you to this play." So, the women all leave and Britney goes, "Well, that was quite the tragedy."
So, Heather goes, "I mean, they nailed it. We think we're so good at it, like projecting this image, but like if we can't be vulnerable and real with each other, we're wasting our friendships." But did you feel like your sisters can help you make you who you are? cuz that's what I took from it. Your sisters helped make you who we were and without them you have nothing. I did love that Heather says, "You can't even be vulnerable and real with each other. We're wasting our friendships." Within the first half of this episode, she's like, "Can you believe that Lisa Barlo asked us to be more vulnerable?"
I know. So Meredith is like, "Well, of course you can't have anything in life without the people around you who you love. There's nothing else. That's what life is. You can't slice a lemon with one hand. Am I right, everyone? Like, um, sort of can. Well, it takes a village to slice a lemon. Am I right? I mean, that's Don't go in the maze. Go to the lemon tree. All right. Meredith, I think she's on think she's on the pills again. And Britney says, "Does that mean that you love us, Meredith?" She goes, "Oh, dude, I maybe we should just give up the game and be real with each other." This is the portion of the season finale where Heather gets drunk and belligerent and starts cow bullying people. Let's get buckle up everybody.
So monologue starts right now. Braum's like, "Um, hi. Uh, I'm going to do the monologue this year." Okay. I was horrified by what I saw. Mhm. Mhm. I sat here with tears pouring down my face watching that. Well, enough about the first time you saw Todd naked. I'm in a great mood now. No, not just for myself, but for all of us because I saw a lot of truth in how they portrayed me. And I know that came from your truths about how you portray me. And I also felt like I have a lot of work to do.
Mhm. I have a lot of work to do. I mean, but I will say forget Say it again. I'm so sorry. Me
I'm accomplished. I mean, I have work to do. I'm not not like actual work. I'm accomplished. I've done a lot. I've done a lot. Okay. I've done a lot. But I will I will say, you know what? The actresses do not have a lot of work to do. There were two actresses with my Bob. two two of them.
I noticed that at first I thought they were the actresses that were were given wigs to match their hairstyles because I saw the bob and then I realized they just were naturally bobbed.
Yeah. Um but I have a deep issue in not feeling like people are loyal to me and a big part of what that is probably because I'm not loyal to other people or I don't know how to be. And I was like well that thank you but also good for you for a little self-awareness. Yeah.
And she says that, you know, kind of what you said earlier, that her past is a list of people who have let her down
and that's why she wants loyalty so bad, but she doesn't know what it is. And um she was when she had Gwen, she was basically, you know, dissed by her parents and they put their shame and embarrassment ahead of how they cared about her. And even Todd, who I love and choose to be with and am working things out with, Mhm. If I'm being really honest, he has um he has been disloyal to me as well. So, worst thing he was being disloyal while I was dressed as a blowup rhinoceros at the Southwest Airlines terminal. So, that really hurt.
Yeah. It's also funny because this show has really been about loyalty for its entire run. It's it's always been discussions about I was ride or die for you. I was where you weren't ride or die for me. I was loyal to you. I'm not loyal. It's like they are really hung up on it here in a way that it's almost like they should just give up just that their lives would be so much easier if they stopped f hyperfocusing on who's loyal to whom. They don't old school New York didn't worry about that. They just fought and they fought and then they'd get drunk afterwards. And they focus so much on who's loyal to whom that they just they're just going to drive themselves baddy because the real the reality is they're not loyal to anyone.
And that's in this in in the context of this show. I think that's fine. It's just like just do you. and like enjoy yourself.
Yeah. So Romwin's like, "Well, I was heartbroken by what was said about me, but I was also heartbroken about what was said about you guys." I mean, you guys should have felt bad, too, because that was cutting to each of us. And Lisa's like, "Yeah, when I first saw Lisa come out, I was like, "Oh my god, like that's not even brand name what she's wearing." Like, who even knows where that purse came from? Hi. I was so sad at how she looked. It was terrible, you know. But I do hide behind my things, you know. I hide behind my my Chanel buckle that I put onto my dresses. I hide behind my new bag from Humility. I hide behind my Hermes. I hide behind really all the nice cars I have. I mean, I could go on and on and I will go on because I have a lot of things. I have so many things, you guys.
It's like amazing. And then Angie's like, "Like like your watch and your rings or at least most of your rings cuz one is missing." Yeah. Cuz for me, I think it's like a sign of accomplishment. And for me, it's like a reward for me for like working like really hard and like setting up high tops and being in the same room as Blake Lively. And like I have I have to like get a ring to commemorate that cuz like I have to prove myself cuz I just have like a lot of pressure growing up, you know, from my little sisters. So, you know, like I put a lot on my plate. Like even with John, I think it's a lot from him and there's a lot of expectations from him because of like who I am. I have like a lot to prove to myself. I've do I have to say prove to myself another time or do you guys get the picture here? Right. I cried. You guys You guys are fine, right? Okay. And she said, you know, this was actually a nice moment
from Lisa because she's crying and she's saying, you know, she's a braggard because she's basically insecure. like she's disappointed in herself for feeling like she's not doing good enough and so she's disappointed in herself and so she brags to like overcompensate or whatever. And so I thought that was really nice. So we've got two in a row that were actually really nice. Brains was you know Brwood's making me crazy today but she's I thought hers was really good and I think Lisa's is really good too.
I thought Brins was really good and also by the way we didn't we didn't mention I felt like she said something that was like directed right at you. She was like you know what I'm a big girl. This is all on me. I'm an adult. I got to figure it out. which I felt like she wasn't like blaming others really. She was just saying like I this is I have to figure it out.
It was two really good monologues in a row that were emotional and and at this moment I thought well you know the the Greek play thing was kind of ridiculous but it's actually getting them to like a really good place like they're having some good healing right now and then we have a nice moment um while Heather's like I am your friend but you don't always ask me to help you because you're always okay. I'm like, "Well, to be fair, the last time on that yacht, you were basically telling everyone that Lisa leaks everything to the blogs, so I don't know about the friend part, but at least they're in a nice place. It's a nice
I haven't seen a lot of I'm your friend and I love you." So, she keeps saying that. She's like Brahmwin in that way. Like, I've been such a good friend to you when you've been coming for her this whole season.
But, um, it's still a nice moment and they're being very vulnerable. It was in this moment. It's nice until they all reneg on this in the in the next five minutes. But for right now,
actually, specifically, it's Heather who who actually ruins this entire really nice moment for the women.
Yeah. So, Heather's like, "But yeah." Uh, so Lisa says, "Well, I need my friends. I need all of you, you know, like Angie, me and you have this natural craziness, but like even if we're mad at each other, like we have deep love." And she goes, like, "I love you." And it's taken a minute to say like I love you and and get out of the dark spot with you. And our friendship went away. And I want our friendship back just like I gave you your wolf back. Your your man wolf, your fresh wolf back.
Your dusty. I would like to take your dusty wolf. Well, I have high regard for you and I like having a friendship with you.
This is like a rough year and I have not been here for you and I am here for you now. and if I ever take that mask off and I'm not being who I am, I want you guys to tell me and then I will yell at you and then probably not listen. So Meredith goes, "Well, it's interesting because there are certain parallels hiding beyond belongings, hiding beyond words. You know, I was trained to use words and carefully cautiously they hold meaning. Even if some people here don't know what the words mean, I'm pointing at this dum dum over here." cut to Whitney be like, "Huh?" Yeah, but they can bring a lot of joy and they can bring a lot of harm. You know what words bring me joy? Happy Mother's Day. My god, I wish I'd heard those words. And I'm very sensitive and I'm very easily hurt and I don't like being told that I'm something that I'm not or that I did something that I didn't. It hurts me and I'm afraid of betrayal. And that's
really what it boils down to. And I've been betrayed so many times by a lot of people. And I'm afraid of letting people in. I'm afraid. I'm afraid. And I'll be totally honest. I'm I'm afraid. I'm afraid right now. So, she's crying. It's a nice moment. Um and Angie
Heather rolls her eyes. By the way, exactly. She's like crying. She's like, Heather just rolls her eyes
and and cuz you know, Heather's saying, "Okay, this is bullshit." But like honestly, I here's what I think. If you think that Meredith is being [ __ ] and she's using this moment to like uh to defend herself against accusations, I say feel that privately and wait for another moment to prosecute it. Like this is not the moment. This is the moment where you are all sharing cuz I do think that like what Meredith is saying is true. There's doesn't it doesn't take away from what she's saying is is true. And Angie, even even Angie who is really not very close with Meredith is like, "You're surrounded by a lot of beautiful people and a lot of feta cheese and maybe if you let them in, including the cheese, it's not your fault. If it doesn't go well, it's their fault."
So that we're having this nice moment. And here comes Heather to destroy it all to turn it into just another housewives fight basically.
Yeah. She's like, "Well, like Meredith is a powerhouse. She's not this docile mouth that's just been victimized by all of us. I mean, she's making power moves, you know, which I mean, surprise even me. I mean, like the big giant thing is what just happened. I mean, this whole day that just kind of hijacked the whole day. I mean, this thing with you and Broadway like you kikiki with her tooth. Shut up. You're such a [ __ ] [ __ ]
You're such an [ __ ] This isn't about you. This isn't about you. And of course, now we get to avoid talking about what a dick Heather is and what a dick Whitney is because now we're going to turn this into a Merida thing, which is a typical Heather move. You know, she doesn't have to talk about herself.
God, I was really disappointed by this. I I knew it was going to happen, but I was also just like,
you're what? Like, what a brat. Like, why are you doing this? This is actually like a genuinely nice moment. I was excited actually to hear them go down the line because honestly a lot of this season has been at level 12. Like every time they've had a group thing, they wind up kind of screaming at each other at like a really high moment. And I was actually I I feel like the this season has actually been strongest when they've had quieter, more personal moments, believe it or not. Like I think we all like the scene with Bronwin and Whitney sharing about their marriages at that restaurant. like it it stood out so so so brightly because it wasn't kind of cartoony fighting. And the cartoony fighting is funny. Don't get me wrong.
It's entertaining. I'm enjoying all of it. But like this was like a real moment. And it's nice to also get a little bit of like that pressure release that comes like after all the fighting and the feuding and the tension. You get like the you release some of the pressure and have moments of bonding. And Heather just comes in determined to make a season finale scene instead of just like listening and just like say and you can privately say, "Well, I think that Meredith is kind of full of it, but I'm going to I'm going to I'm choosing to believe my friend right now and listening to her being vulnerable."
And she just doesn't do it. Yeah, she's a dick. So Meredith is like, "Well, this is why I don't open up because no, this is the third time that you've got gotten information from her and then flipped it. Heather, you are the worst at getting information from people and flipping it. Your whole relationship with Brahmwin started with you going, "Oh, really? That's not what you said about Whitney at lunch?" You know, like, "Shut up." And Meredith is like, "Well, that had nothing to do with anyone except her." She, "Well, that was weird, too. That was weird." She's like, "Oh, God. God, I'm not gonna sit here and go back and forth and argue over it, but it did seem like you wanted to know about our lunch." So, here comes Whitney chiming in. Like, when I heard the stories from both sides, it seemed like you just wanted it to happen. Cuz it's the one thing you didn't know about.
Well, this is why I don't open up. And I try and I just got bered. So, I'll stop talking if you need me. I'm going to be walking into the maze. See you never. She's saying, "What do you want?" She's not berating you, Meredith. She's saying you, "What do you want to know about the lunch?" And when he's like, "Yeah, that's what we're asking. What do you want to know about the lunch? cuz we've been planning to tell you that we think you're an alcoholic, which we talked about at the lunch, and we can't say unless you ask what happened at the lunch. I don't care.
It's too much. She's like, "Well, you really you clearly care, Meredith. Well, I do feel like that I'm yelled at and screamed at every time I try to open up, just like right now, and it just happened again."
That's not true. That is not true at all. Oh, look at what just happened just 2 days after Mother's Day. That's not true. We can't be honest. Why are we all here? Well, I'm going to the restroom. That's some honesty for you. I'm taking a deuce. So Meredith walks away and Mary's like, "What are we doing? Why are we here if we're not friends? Why are we here if we don't get even get each other? I mean, is this how you feel about me? Is this?" And Lisa's like, "Wait, Mary, what part hurt you? I thought you were laughing." I was laughing. It was a hilarious play, but you said I was hard. I'm hiding behind some stupid face. I don't hide behind a mask. I don't live my life like that.
Lisa, you are self-absorbed. What are we doing? Just throwing that right in there.
I'm not lying. We're grown adults. Like, we should We're mothers. We're wives. We're spiraling. What do we We can't even tell Meredith we feel like something's wrong. You guys have told Meredith you feel like something's wrong 30 times. What are you talking about? I love that they act like they haven't had this conversation with Meredith when they've had it with Meredith
for the past 10 episodes. It's crazy. Like, we love her and we don't want to hurt her. I'm like, you're actively hurting her. Did she not just run off crying? So, Mary's like, well,
she runs off crying and you you're drunkenly screaming at her as she walks away. Okay. Eller,
like, don't sit here and Kiki around her. Somebody tell the girl we're worried about her. Tell her we care. Something's wrong. So, Meredith comes back. I have one question. Was that toilet paper tly before? Because I think they changed the role.
Who is expected to wipe with popsicle sticks? What kind of country is this? Okay, what is the goal? What is it? And Mary's like, the goal is we're concerned about you. We feel like you're spiraling and we're we're all worried and we're all concerned and you you you want to know what we talked about at lunch? That's what we talked about. Okay. They think it, I think it. I'm concerned. I hope you're okay. And I don't think you're okay. Now, I am going to take the lipstick out of my purse and put it back in so that you all know I am okay. And now comes the part where I go from being very angry at you all to being like, "No, I'm okay. I'm okay. I thank you, Mary. I I am okay. My behavior is fine.
I appreciate the concern and everything is fine. As you can see, I am perfectly fine and perfectly calm. Everything is okay." But your friends are telling you that. We all think it. And I think I've heard enough and I've heard the whole story, so I will relieve you of my presence. Goodbye, Meredith. Sit down and talk to the group. And she's like, "What is there to talk about? For you to tell me that I'm not okay when I am okay?"
But we're concerned about you. You're committed to being angry and you're committed to being sad.
Well, I'm not angry. I am sad sometimes and I'm very sensitive and I take a lot of things to heart and I wear a lot on my sleeve which is why I'm constantly wearing sleeves. Now there are things that are important to me in my life. There are goals and I want to leave this world a better place than when I came into it. So I carry a lot of weight in my shoulder pads and that is why I'm sad sometimes. But I'm fine. and for you to all question me and say I'm not okay because my I am okay. And Mary's like but you're not okay. You're not okay. Okay. What do you guys want her to do? Like they need some confession from Meredith. Like I'm an alcoholic. They need something from Meredith or they're just not going to let it go. I mean, what do you need from the woman?
I'm wearing an emotional blazer with my heart on my sleeve and the weight in the shoulder pads. And I even have a little bit of vile tears in the front pocket. And that's all that's all you're going to get from me. But wait, can I get real with you?
Your behavior. Stay with me. Stay with me. Oh no. And then she grabs her by the face. Get your [ __ ] hands off people, Whitney. How does Whitney get away with putting her hands on people constantly? She's done it multiple times just in this episode. And now she's grabbing Meredith's face. Like she needs she needs to get pushed at the very least off a balcony.
How do how does she get away putting her hands on people? You know what? Someone should push her.
If you put your hands on someone else, that gives them the right to push you backwards. She needs to get pushed away and told, "Don't put your [ __ ] hands on me." Who doesn't?
Stay with me. I feel like she is like, "All these years of watching er, I finally get to put it to use. Stay with me. Don't go to the
stay. We're losing her. We're losing her. Give me 10 cc's of of something that can holds cc's in it. Please. I feel bad that I called you the names I did. And there's a reason I said pill popper alcoholism. That's because when I see people go through emotional shifts like that, my only experience is my dad and my family. That's from my lived experience. And I'm just telling you what I'm witnessing as your friend. your emotions and your behavior is like this right now. That's what I'm say. Like you're basically doing a long-winded way of saying because I've seen it in my family. I'm seeing it in you. Hop or alcohol. Like you're not really you're just changing the words around, but you're saying the same thing. So, well, I I want to say, well, you know, we don't know what's going on in your life, but you know, there are things going on in my marriage, and they're not great.
And so, I don't know if that's going on with you, but I mean, if it is, you know, things aren't great in my marriage. So, maybe, you know, I don't I don't want to say there's something wrong with your marriage. There is nothing wrong with my marriage. Well, I mean, that's not for me to say. I don't know. But it's for her to say and she's saying that there's nothing. What do you
If you're covering up for a murder, uh I'm not saying that you did, but I have seen many shows where people murder people and then they go in a shame spiral and it's very it's very nerve-wracking for them. So, if you're covering up for a murder, if that's what you've done that you I'm not saying that you have, but that that that's fine, too. Like I what? Where did murder come in from this? Well, I mean, if Heather I mean uh Meredith, if you've burned down a house, that's you know, I'm not saying you burned down a house, but like arsonists do often act in a very impulsive ways. What? I'm not an arsonist either. Well, listen, I I'm not saying that I've ever been abducted as a child, but if you're abducting children, that's not for me to say that you're not abducting. I'm not abducting children.
Well, I'm just saying Meredith Todd and I were having dinner in New York and I saw Seth. Okay. And I didn't say anything to anybody else because I didn't know who Seth I didn't know who Seth was with. So that's
Oh, you are so [ __ ] low. And to just have this whole thing of like, oh, I just want to be trustworthy and I just can't be trustworthy cuz I'm traumatiz. And then to be like, yeah, your husband's cheating on you,
but I'm not even going to say on you. What a dick. And Lisa's like, "You just made it seem like Seth was with somebody." Nope. Nope. I don't know who he was with. I don't know. I don't know. She brought him bread sticks. I can tell you that much. And listen, I bring bread sticks to my husband. Mhm. Mhm. I refill his water when he needs it. Mhm. Mhm. That's all I'm saying. And then the next day, I went out. I saw him again. This time he was with he was with someone else. And it was it was a young boy. I'm sorry. And he said, "I want to be your mother." It was weird for all of us. And he said something about wanting to be pansexual. He was shooting a scene for NextGen New York City. Dingdong.
Okay. Well, you know, but my experience with my marriage is talked about and I put a wall up and I just wish you could talk about it. She's like, "Oh my god, [ __ ] off. [ __ ] off, Ron. Bronwin sucks." And like, "Oh, that's just love.
If you're going to do it, like, go all the way." Like, don't don't say, "Um, I saw Seth with someone, but that's it. I don't know. I'm not saying it's anything." and then act like Meredith is crazy for getting mad at the implication and then act like you're just stating facts. Like just say it. Say it looked like he was cheating, but but to then bring it up and then be like, "All I'm saying is that I saw him with a woman. Why are you acting crazy right now?" It's like, "Come on, Bronwin. Like, commit commit to the messiness."
Yeah. So, she's like, "That is enough. Goodbye, guys. Bye. Bye. Thank you, Angie. Thank you, brother." And so she walks away and Lisa is like, "Are you [ __ ] kidding me? What did you just allude to with Seth? What did you do?" She goes, "Um, I'm not alluding to anything. I'm I'm not alluding to anything. I'm just saying, you know, he was I don't know. I don't know. There was restaurant. Was he eating? I don't know. Does Seth have an eating disorder?" Because he was at a restaurant. I didn't see me. I didn't see me.
Lisa's like, "You made it sound like he was with someone else. Am I crazy?" And M's like, "He was." And she saw it. So Heather goes up to Meredith. She puts down her wine for the first time in three hours and like goes with her wine teeth up to Meredith.
She's like, "Are you gonna for real shut me out, Meredith? I'm leaving, Heather. I am leaving." She's like, "No, you're not." Brahma's like, "Look, I don't get to say if he was with someone on a date or if it was a work person. I'm not going to do that. What I am saying to you is that when my marriage is questioned, it makes me put a wall up and I'm worried that her marriage is being questioned, for instance, by I don't know, accusations that her husband is at restaurants with people who may or may not be his mistress. She's putting up a wall.
Oh, what an [ __ ] And Lisa's like, "This is why she's closed off. Okay, this is why." And Braum is like, "Oh, god, Lisa." So then uh Heather is still over there like grabbing Meredith and uh she's like, "I'm a happy woman in a happy marriage with a lipstick that keeps coming in and out of my purse and I have a wonderful family. Why am I listening to this? My physical health is fine. My mental health is fine. I don't Oh, Heather is like, "Come on." She's like, "Yeah, my physical health is fine. My mental health is fine. I don't drink very much. I don't use drugs and my husband is loyal to me and I'm loyal to my husband and I don't know what your problems are but don't create them for me because I have a really good life.
So now Meredith is heading off. So now Whitney is trying to follow her and uh Meredith is like tells us I actually drink less than most of the women. I don't do drugs and I'm really tired of it and let me start counting their drinks and the multitude of pills in Britney's pill bottle and the pills I've seen Heather and Whitney take. So stop with your smear campaign or I will start telling the truth.
So um Whitney goes over there to try her hand literal hands on you um at Meredith and she's like I need you to go away Lisa. This is between Meredith and I. She's like no you're not safe. Yeah. And you're safe. She Yeah. For her you should go back. Go back. Trees hate you. Trees hate you. Meredith. Meredith. Can I talk to you? Can I talk to you? And is like, oh, quote unquote, I'm so sorry that I'm insinuating that you have all these problems. Oh, wow. Mary's like, look. She's like, you're a good friend to her, Bronlin. You were good friend to her and you don't have great and you do have great loyalty. Look how you stand by Todd. Which is funny.
She left Todd. So, Bronwood's like, um, yeah, well, there was a time, which by the way, probably good for her. Uh, Braunwin's like, "Um, well, there was a time on this trip where I was I was worried about Meredith. I felt like something was really hard for her, but you know what? I realized that looking perfect and taking no accountability is more important than her than being friends with any of us." So, you know what? Any friendship has to be a two-e street. And if Meredith can't tell us what's going on, if she can't say when she's wrong, if she can't lean on us for support, then she should walk away. Unseal your [ __ ] Unseal your [ __ ] Mr. I'm open and talk about everything. Who is Todd [ __ ] Come on. But also like when she says friendship has to be a two-way street and if Meredith can't tell us what's going on if she can't say what's wrong.
I mean she literally called you to her room and was like what'd you guys talk about? Like she's she called you to the room to talk to you about stuff and
and then you turned it against her 5 seconds later. Um I mean again the implication is really like okay she's she's having issues with her in her marriage and she's now going harder on either drugs or pills or whatever. That's what they're really saying here. It's not
right. She's an alcoholic and a drug addict because Seth is cheating on her all over New York.
So, um, Meredith is like, "I'm called I've called a car service." And he's like, "It's crazy. I'm your friend and I love you and I'm sorry that this is so gross." Well, this is so toxic. It's just not me. I'll tell you that. So, Heather goes, "You know what? Just go. We can hear you. We're toxic [ __ ] We get it." It's like, "Well, you are."
Yeah. I'm just scream Heather just screaming across the court. yard. You know what? Drunk. And Lisa's like, "Oh, great. You know what? I didn't say [ __ ] Heather. She said toxic behavior." She goes, "Oh, well, if you think that, then walk the [ __ ] away." Yeah. She was trying to, and you went over there and manhandled her to try and keep her here. She's like, "You don't get to dictate what everyone else does like the judge and jury. You don't, Heather." Okay. She goes, "Well, I'm asking you. If you feel that, then walk away. And if you don't, then come back and solve this because those are the two options that you have.
This is my show. receipts, timeline, proof, everything. I have three books. Honestly, the point is, well, there was a vulnerable moment and there was like a quiet moment where you probably could have solved things, but instead you decided to make it into just a housewives fight. That's that's the truth of it. So then Lisa's like, "What does she solve? Sorry." Like, "You think I'm actually doing this?" And they're like, "No, it's you too, LB. You're with her, babe." It's like, "Yeah, I am with her." No, you're you're not just an advocate right now. You chose her. You drew a line in the sand. Call an Uber.
Come back. Those are the two options. You two versus the world. So, this is basically Heather has been trying to separate from Lisa Barlo all season, but she wants to pin it on Lisa. All that's what she's been trying to do all season long is not be friends with her, but al somehow make it Lisa's fault that they're not friends, not Heather's fault. So, here she is again being like, "If you walk away with Meredith, you've dri you've drawn a line in the sand, and now I know exactly where I stand with you." One of those moments. She's also trying to get Heather and she's also trying to get Lisa and Meredith off the show. And this is very clearly Heather trying to be the boss of the show, which is ridiculous, and saying like, "You guys are walking off the show right now.
You either stay here and do this with us or you call an Uber and you get the [ __ ] off this set."
Yeah. She's crazy. So, now we get our final our our little cards at the end, which is Heather's been traveling and enjoying the the empty nest. Her new mattress remains pristine, and she has loved having her daughters home for the holidays and was even happier when they left. Lisa continues to talk to Trace, which convinced her that she's a good listener, despite what Jon says. She was sad to learn Buffalo mozzarella comes from an actual buffalo and not New York. Wild Rose Beauty is back in Whitney's possession, but not without causing trouble in her marriage. She stal myths with Terren, her intuitive consultant who does not see any Cardier purchases in her future.
Um, let's see. Meredith Caviar Lounge is opening and she's a DJ and her marriage is stronger than ever. And Angie hasn't completed her Greek citizenship and uh her fast food commercial was definitely not an attempt to one up Lisa.
Oh, well, yeah. ood cuz it was Arby's. And then Bramwin is like, "Uh, Bronwin is officially an American citizen. She's waiting for her first jury dur duty summons, but has her hot dog outfit ready. Muzzy and Gwen are still living with Bronwin and her marriage is closed for discussion for now." And then the final one is Mary's, which starts off in a somber note of with prayers and tough love, Mary hopes Robert Jr. will find his his way. her church remains her safe space and her dog remains one of her closest adviserss. I was like, why are you throwing in this little dog thing?
Little they're like so serious and like and her dog remains one of her closest adviserss. Wow, we wow we wow documentary is on now on TLC. Like just say it.
Uh what are the odds that Britney puts up an an end of season card for herself on her own social media today? Well, I was left out like how she showed up in a in a bathing suit after she wasn't included in the Vanity Fair uh cover.
Britney, the one that they called the splasher now, ding ding ding, is doing great. Her daughter even texted her back one time.
Now she gets free steamers whenever she goes to Starbucks. So, that was the end of the season and we've got three Rockus episodes coming up for the reunion. Looks pretty wild. Thanks everyone for being here and uh what a way to kick off the new year, huh?
Yes. All right, everybody. We'll talk to you next week. Bye-bye. Bye. Mhm.
