0:00 You know, the best bet you can make is to bet on yourself. And I had this idea for an internet company that wanted to create. I didn't have any money. So, I had to ask my 82year-old grandma for a loan cuz everyone else told me, "Kim, you're crazy. The internet's a fad. You have no experience starting a company. You should just get a normal job." And I was like, "I just had a normal job and that didn't work out. So, I might as well bet on myself." And my grandma had no idea what the internet was at that time. And I told her, "It's going to be really, really big someday, Grandma."

0:30 And she's gave me the $10,000 loan, which is amazing. And that's how I started. You know, I didn't choose to do it, but sometimes things happen. It was like the worst thing that ever happened to me became the best thing that ever happened to me.
